This does not encourage me
I just cannot imagine why this news would make me a tad uneasy! I mean what could possibly go wrong?
Boy Scouts in Dundee will be able to pledge allegiance to ‘Allah’ and drop the traditional oath to God and Queen, says the Scout Association in Scotland.
The Association has given its backing to starting Dundee’s 45th troop which will specifically target Muslim boys.
In the oath Muslim recruits will be able to replace the name ‘God’ with “Allah, the Most Beneficent and the Most Merciful”, and pledge to honour “the country in which I am now living” instead of the Queen.
The Scout Association is already open to all faiths and Muslim boys are currently part of existing troops, but according to the Association they are aware of some who might be opposed to the traditional pledge.

Booth, sister of the wife of UK Middle East envoy Tony Blair, spoke at an anti-Israel rally held last Sunday, Jan. 11, in the large town of Blackburn, 35 kilometers north of Manchester. An estimated 10,000 people, mostly young Muslim men, were in attendance
Perhaps the most inane part of her railings against Israel is this nugget!
Booth fired up the crowd by calling for the closing of the Israeli Embassy in London, accusing Israel of “blasting” women and children with chemical weapons, and exhorting the Moslem community to “bring 40,000” to their next anti-Israel protest in “the middle of your city.”
“Today we are all Palestinians,” Booth ranted. “We will fight for you and your children! And we have a message to you, Israel. You’re finished. That’s it. No more stories about self-defense. No, no, that’s over. You – you are the nation of hate! And you are the criminals – that we detest! … We are angry, and we want Israel out of this country!”
Booth said she represents the “good people of our country who are angry and disgusted now, because our country has an ambassador in Israel! Withdraw him! We do not want an Israeli embassy in London – they are criminals! Say it with me now: Israel – out! Out! Out! [Crowd screams: Out! Out! Out!]“
Ah, it is Israel who targets innocents? I guess this moral retard thinks Israel was firing thousands of rockets at itself?
People like her deserve to live under Sharia Law for about a year, then she should spend a year in the areas of Israel that are the constant target of rocket attacks! That might brighten her up some.

Iran’s judiciary chief Ayatollah Mahmoud Hashemi Shahrudi has commuted a sentence of stoning to death handed down to a woman convicted of adultery to 100 lashes, a report said on Tuesday.
The woman, identified only as 48-year-old Kobra N, was convicted of being an accessory to the murder of her husband and engaging in an adulterous relationship, the daily Etemad Melli newspaper reported.
She was sentenced to eight years in prison for the first crime and stoning to death for the second.
The report said the woman served the eight-year jail sentence and was kept in prison for another five years awaiting the sentence of stoning to be carried out.
It added that her husband, a drug addict, had forced her into prostitution.
The murderer, identified as Habib A., has been freed after serving a 10-year jail term.

I suffer at times from pretty bad allergies, and when they hit, it is like having a very bad cold for about a day. Today is one of those days, so sorry, I have lots of stuff I want to get into about today’s coronation, I mean inaguration, but, I can barely stay awake. Yep, allergy medicine works, but it makes me sleep, so again, apologies.
Hey, there may be one positive though. Maybe Obama will end all allergies, heck he can do anything right?

January 19 1807 Robert E. Lee was born. He would become a great man, a great general, and a hero to many. There are those who have tried to politically correct Lee, but the facts of his life illustrate what a fine man he was.

On Monday’s CBS Early Show, co-host Maggie Rodriguez asked Sunday Morning liberal commentator Nancy Giles about the incoming Obama Administration and Giles could not resist bashing Bush: “Well, Barack Obama’s going to have his hands full with a lot of the carnage that was left by the previous administration.” Republican strategist Bay Buchanan was seated next to Giles and Giles defended her statement: “I had to put it that way, Bay. It is carnage.” Buchanan joked: “I was told it would cease-fire here for two days.” Giles replied: “I know, I’m sorry, carnage just slipped out, but I mean, he’s going to have his hands full.”
