Speaking at a Nation of Islam conference in Illinois on March 1, Farrakhan sharply criticized Jews for expecting Muslims to stand against terrorist suicide bombers “while the Palestinians are being slaughtered,” and accused Congress of being beholden to “the Israeli lobby.”
Farrakhan also raised doubts about the “veracity” of the numbers of Jews killed in the Holocaust and questioned European laws against Holocaust denial.

The “Getting Through Tough Economic Times” guide at www.samhsa.gov/economy/ is meant to help people identify any serious health concerns related to financial worries, develop coping skills and find help, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration said on Tuesday.
And to help you little whiners out, they even provide some of the dreaded warning signs!
*Persistent sadness/crying*Excessive anxiety*Lack of sleep/constant fatigue
*Excessive irritability/anger
*Increased drinking
*Illicit drug use, including misuse of medications
Hmmm, they forgot a few warning signs that could really help some folks.
Voting for failed Democratic Party ideals disguised as “hope” or “change”
Voting for an empty suit that promises to heal every problem you ever had.
Voting to reject the ideals the made this nation prosperous in favor of ideals that have failed every time they are tried.
Voting for a skin color instead of the best candidate with the best principles.
Trusting Barney Frank, Rachel Maddow, Keith Olbermann, or Nancy Pelosi.

Swim a few with brains
During the G20 summit something like 40,000 plus protesters slated to descend upon London. Of that number, there is a small but growing and prodigiously brave group of idealists planning to throw their message and bodies into the breach. They are not there to demand government action against climate change, stricter business regulations, nor are they requesting money for the poor, hungry, or infirm. Their message is simple, but profound: Get out of our way.
This small band, comprised mostly of university students and recent graduates wants only to communicate the message to the world that capitalism is not to blame for the current economic crisis. In fact, they want people to know that interventionist policies are what got us into the mess in the first place and increased state intervention is unacceptable.
As my blogging role model said of these folks Godspeed!

New Balad party MK Haneen Zuabi, the first woman to be elected to the Knesset as a representative of an Arab party, has welcomed Iran’s growing influence on Palestinian affairs and praised Iran’s quest for a nuclear weapon as a means of offsetting Israel’s regional military edge.
Having Israel as the region’s sole nuclear power, she said, was “dangerous to the world.”
Ah, I see, so Israel, which only wants PEACE is dangerous because of military strength, but Iran, which wants to destroy all the evil Jews, is a benefit to the world if it is armed with nukes?
My God how can any person be that stupid?
Pro-Choice? No, Pro-Liberally-Approved-Choice
Of all the lies that the Left regularly spews, the “pro-choice” lie is the most inane as this story illustrates
Tim Kaine, the Virginia governor and President Barack Obama’s hand-picked choice as the head of the Democratic National Committee, infuriated abortion-rights groups Monday by signing legislation that gives abortion foes a long-sought victory.
Kaine brushed off intense lobbying by abortion rights supporters in Richmond to sign a bill that allows Virginia motorists to advertise their anti-abortion views by sporting “Choose Life” specialty license plates
The revenue from the specialty plates would go to crisis-pregnancy centers, which many abortion-rights backers believe proslyetize against abortion and encourage women to keep unwanted children
It is surprising that Governor Kaine would do this, but it’s all the more surprising that he would do it as chair of the DNC,” said Paulette McElwain, the president of the Virginia League for Planned Parenthood.
McElwain exchanged numerous calls with the governor’s office over the license plates and organized a grass roots effort that logged more than 2,000 calls to the governor’s staff.
“We provided him with abundant information,” she said. “We’re terribly disappointed that he decided to sign it.”
In Washington, NARAL/Pro-Choice America channeled more than 17,000 emails and 200 calls to the DNC urging Kaine to veto the bill.
“It is unfortunate that, even after receiving thousands of messages from Virginians and pro-choicea ctivists across the country, Gov.Kaine has opted to sign a bill that advances a divisive political ideology at the expense of women’s health” NARAL /Pro-Choice America president Nancy Keenan said in a statement.
Ah, excuse the obvious question, but how in the Hell does a “choose Life” license plate endanger women’s health? This is a great example of the fear campaign Planned Parenthood and NARAL have used to scare women into supporting abortion on demand.
The fact is this. If the pro-choicers are really what they say, then women choosing to have their babies, rather than aborting them, would never bother them at all. But, alas moral and intellectual consistency take a back seat to $$$$ here! Abortion is a business, a BIG business that produces great profits for NARAL and Planned Parenthood. It is all about the revenues baby!
Choice? Sure, but only if it approved by, and, in this case, profitable for the Left!

Netanyahu to Obama: Stop Iran or Israel will
Israel is concerned and should be. An evil man has repeated;y expressed evil intentions towards Israel, and is blatantly pursuing the means to carry out his threats. Israel really has no choice but to take out Iran’s capabilities to unleash nuclear weapons on Israel.
In an interview conducted shortly before he was sworn in today as prime minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu laid down a challenge for Barack Obama. The American president, he said, must stop Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons—and quickly—or an imperiled Israel may be forced to attack Iran’s nuclear facilities itself.
“The Obama presidency has two great missions: fixing the economy, and preventing Iran from gaining nuclear weapons,” Netanyahu told me. He said the Iranian nuclear challenge represents a “hinge of history” and added that “Western civilization” will have failed if Iran is allowed to develop nuclear weapons.
In unusually blunt language, Netanyahu said of the Iranian leadership, “You don’t want a messianic apocalyptic cult controlling atomic bombs. When the wide-eyed believer gets hold of the reins of power and the weapons of mass death, then the entire world should start worrying, and that is what is happening in Iran.”
History teaches Jews that threats against their collective existence should be taken seriously, and, if possible, preempted, he suggested. In recent years, the Iranian president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, has regularly called for Israel to be “wiped off the map,” and the supreme Iranian leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, this month called Israel a “cancerous tumor.”
But Netanyahu also said that Iran threatens many other countries apart from Israel, and so his mission over the next several months is to convince the world of the broad danger posed by Iran. One of his chief security advisers, Moshe Ya’alon, told me that a nuclear Iran could mean the end of American influence in the Middle East. “This is an existential threat for Israel, but it will be a blow for American interests, especially on the energy front. Who will dominate the oil in the region—Washington or Tehran?”
Netanyhu added that he would be happy if Obama’s efforts to engage Iran worked. I think everyone would be very pleased if that happens. But, given the track record of dictators and despots throughout history, I seriously doubt diplomacy will ever work. That, sadly, leaves but one option, the use of military power to take out Iran’s means of war.
The question now is not if the United States or Israel can accomplish that, the question is will our president have the spine to do it. We know Israel will, and in my view the U.S. must show that we will at the very least help Israel do it. We need deal from a position of strength, not weakness with regimes like Iran’s. Yes, speak softly but carry a big stick is great, but you must also possess the willingness to USE the stick when needed.

Gun-Free Zones are Intelligence-Free Ideas!
Gun-free zones sound so nice, but really what actual good do they do? NONE!
Atlanta’s gun free zones are not free of guns or violent crime.
Georgia has one of the toughest laws in the country when it comes to banning guns from school property. The law creates what it calls the “school safety zone,” an area of 1,000 feet surrounding any school, including universities and adult technical schools, where it is a felony punishable by ten years in prison to possess a firearm or other weapon. So why do armed and violent criminals keep striking near Georgia schools?
In just the last couple of weeks, Atlanta’s prominent engineering university, Georgia Tech, has experienced five robberies of its students, who are disarmed by law within 1,000 feet of campus.
In the first four incidents, Georgia’s draconian “school safety zone” law did not deter the robbers from using firearms to commit their crimes. Here are the incidents as reported by Georgia Tech.

Shocker Al Gore had his lights on during Earth Hour

Do as I say, not as I do? Seems like former Vice-President Al Gore may be embracing that motto as evidenced Saturday night by his failure to turn off the lights of his Nashville home for “Earth Hour.”
Drew Johnson, president of the Tennessee Center for Policy Research —the same organization that also found Gore’s home consumes 20 times more electricity than the average household — told Yeas & Nays that Gore’s Belle Meade-section mansion did not go dark during the global campaign’s designated hour between 8:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.Johnson did admit that although it wasn’t as bright as can be, Gore did have on “a dozen or so” floodlights on his trees, a light shining on his address number, and a noticeable “bluish glow” from his powered-on televisions and computers coming from inside his house.
Why does Gorezilla hate the earth? He doesn’t, he just loves the obscene profits his climate scam is making him!
I am sure the Environuts will be outraged beyond belief over Gore’s Enviro-Hypocrisy, unless they are suffering from S.O.S that is!

Senator Dodd and his AIG bonuses, where is the outrage?

Democrats stirred up populist outrage over the bonuses paid by AIG to its executives to keep them around while their Financial Products division gets shut down. Perhaps a bonus paid by the actual “villains” at AIG-FP might garner some more accurate anger. AIG-FP execs coughed up over $160,000 in 2006, while the division made the decisions that would lead to AIG’s collapse, to help re-elect Chris Dodd and get him locked into the chair of the Senate Banking Committee:
