What is cool and uncool in the Obama Days?
Since we now have Hope, and Change in Amerca, it might be tough trying to grasp and keep up with all the changes. So, as a public service, because I am a generous guy, I am going to tell everyone what has changed in the world of “cool” and “uncool”.
First the uncool things.
First anti-Americansim is now UNCOOL. Oh, I know it was like, the coolest thing when that Bush Hitler guy was president, I mean it was ultra cool, but Obama changed that don’t ya know!
Next is dissent! Now dissent was, under Darth Cheney, who REALLY ran the show, not only cool, but also, like, mega-patriotic!
Now though? Very, very uncool! I know how uncool it is because like, ya know, like the ultra-mega-cool Jeneane Garafalo says dissent is only for like retarded, mentally ill, redneck racists who hate Obama or something!
Lying about polar bears dying from climate change? COOL! Jumping in with polar bears at zoos? still UNcool!
Navy Seals killing pirates? That would have been, like really uncool last year, but now? Hellicool!
ID’ing Right-Wing extremists? Cool! I mean they deserve it because they are like racist teabaggers or something, Jeneane Garafalo told me so! She is soooooo freaking cool, don’t ya love her tats? And that angry, bitter, unbathed look? HOT!
Smoking? Cool, but only because it will, like save billions of kids lives!
CNN? Cool!

Tea Parties? The uncoolest! But making really stupid, immature jokes about teabagging? That s cool!
Carbon taxes? Way cool!
Not paying your taxes? So freaking cool!
Cats? Uncool cause they are like mean to Liberals!
Civil Liberties? Not so cool any more! I mean Should we let Repulicans have right? That is SOOOO not in the Constitution!
Guns? Do you really have to ask? They are like, killing the earth or making polar bears jump off icebergs or something!
Saying we must have alternative energy? Pretty cool! But, you know what is even cooler? Opposing alternativ energy!

Ahamdinejad gets his ass kicked at UN conference on Racism
Well, sadly no one actually throttled the scumbag, but it is safe to say, a message was delivered!
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad accused the West of using the Holocaust as a “pretext” for aggression against Palestinians, prompting European diplomats to walk out Monday from a speech disrupted by jeering protesters in rainbow wigs tossing red clown noses at the hard-line leader.
A U.N. racism conference on the eve of Israel’s Holocaust Remembrance Day disintegrated into chaos moments after Ahmadinejad became the first government official to take the floor. Two protesters in wigs tossed the noses at Ahmadinejad as he recited a Muslim prayer to begin his speech.
A Jewish student group from France later took credit for causing the disturbance, saying members were trying to convey “the masquerade that this conference represents.”
Good for those that sent this nut an FU message.

Planned Parenthood caught breaking the law again
The Mona Lisa Project continues with its sixth in a series of undercover videos showing Planned Parenthood deliberately breaks state laws on reporting child abuse and statutory rape. This time, Lila Rose went to Memphis, where state law requires health-care providers to notify the state when they discover a sexual relationship between an adult and a minor 14 years of age or younger. Does Planned Parenthood call the cops, or teach Lila to lie about it so she can get her abortion?

Folks, Senator Schummer is the most radical of the gun grabbers, and this is about nothing but more government control.
New York Senators Charles Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand are calling for the repeal of federal policy requiring records of gun background checks be destroyed after 24 hours.
The Democratic lawmakers say the Tiahrt Amendment restricts police from using gun trace information.
They say such information is crucial to cracking down on illegal gun trafficking and reducing gun violence.
If you believe that just remember that Schummer is on record as saying that those who think there is a right to own guns need to “get over it!”
Banks trying to pay back TARP funds being told “not so fast” by the government
Strong banks will be allowed to repay bail-out funds they received from the US government but only if such a move passes a test to determine whether it is in the national economic interest, a senior administration official has told the Financial Times.“Our general objective is going to be what is good for the system,” the senior official said. “We want the system to have enough capital.”

Obama administration: The Second Ammendment is killing the enviroment or something
WE should study the impact of guns on the environment before we allow Americans to exercise their constitutional right to keep and bear arns in national parks?
The Obama administration says it will not appeal a federal court ruling that prohibits carrying loaded guns in national parks and wildlife refuges.
Instead, the Interior Department says it will conduct a full environmental review of an earlier policy that allowed concealed, loaded guns in parks and refuges.
A federal judge struck down the gun policy last month. The judge said the policy, issued in the waning days of the Bush administration, was severely flawed and that officials failed to evaluate the possible environmental impacts of the rule change. The judge set an April 20 deadline for the Interior Department to indicate its likely response to her ruling.
Yeah, sure, I know that I just cannot keep from using my handguns to chop down trees pollute rivers, and slaughter elk, bears, and coyotes!
Where has the civil liberties Left gone?
We all know how absolutely nutty the Left was about civil liberties being eroded, destroyed, wiped out, and shredded under President Bush. So, given their hyper-jealous streak where that is concerned, surely they will be up in arms over the DHS’s memo on “Right-Wing Extremists” right? Ah, not so much actually
The United States Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Intelligence and Analysis issued a report last week suggesting that current political and economic conditions are energizing right-wing extremist groups, that many of these groups follow extremely conservative ideologies and that some may seek to recruit and “radicalize” veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan.True, true and true.
But, conservatives reacted by throwing a knee-jerk hissy fit. They twisted the report’s meaning to imply that they, and more importantly our war heroes, were being vilified by a partisan document.
Their argument seeks to suppress and subjugate two rather unfortunate facts: while only a tiny number of conservatives and veterans are members of hate groups, nearly all hate groups do indeed follow far-right ideology. And they covet members with military experience.
Got that kids? Not only does this jealous defender of civil liberties not get upset over the asinine DHS report, he AGREES with it!
Just two questions here. If that report had been done on Left-Wing extremists, and done in , oh, say 2005, would this columnist still say Yes! Good on the DHS?
Second question, would this columnist EVER get caught saying that while not ALL Muslims are terrorists, almost ALL terrorists are, well, you know.
I think we all know the answer to both questions is NO!

How can a president sit through nearly an hour of listening to a Communist thug bash America? How can he just sit there, and do not one freaking thing?
President Obama endured a 50-minute diatribe from socialist Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega that lashed out at a century of what he called terroristic U.S. aggression in Central America and included a rambling denunciation of the U.S.-imposed isolation of Cuba’s Communist government.
Obama sat mostly unmoved during the speech but at times jotted notes. The speech was part of the opening ceremonies at the fifth Summit of the Americas here.
Later, at a photo opportunity with Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, Obama held his tongue when asked what he thought about Ortega’s speech.
“It was 50 minutes long. That’s what I thought.”
Careful there Mr. President, you might offend the Communists!

Barack Obama refused to defend the United States today after a 50 minute-long tirade by Marxist Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega.
Ortega blamed the US for the problems in the hemisphere.Obama sat silent during the speech and later would not comment on the tirade.

Lots of Tea Party news still around too, and lots of teabagging on the Left, where right now Keith Olbermann, Anderson Cooper, David Schuster, Andrew Sullivan, and Jeneane Garafalo are likely reading about the Tea Parties while teabagging each other. Maybe Jeneane has a megaphone, screaming “racist rednecks” while the guys are brewing up their “tea”

Here is a note for all of you sports fans. The NBA PLayoffs tip-off today, and in the NHL, the Hurricanes drew even with the Devils at at a game apiece last night, and the Canucks and Penguins put the Blues and Pflyers in 2-0 holes in their series.
Also today you can get your fill of post season madness in both the NBA and NHL, each has four games on the slate.
