Obama unites doctors on health care reform!

Hope and Change anyone? Guess not! At least not in the way he was looking for anyway

Barack Obama isn’t used to hearing boos. For all the young president’s popularity, the response he got Monday from doctors at an American Medical Association meeting was a sign his road is only going to get rockier as he tries to sell his plan to overhaul the nation’s health care system.

The boos erupted when Obama told the doctors in Chicago he wouldn’t try to help them win their top legislative priority — limits.

The worst thing to happen to Oklahoma since…..

Michelle Malkin sees a bad vibe headed to Oklahoma, and Texas!

Look out, Oklahomans. Here come the California refugees:

Fleeing the Great Depression and a drought unprecedented in American history, a vast wave of Oklahomans and Texans dubbed “Okies” loaded everything they could onto crowded vehicles during the 1930s and headed west for California. Today, in huge numbers, their grandchildren are moving back…

…From 2004 through 2007, about 275,000 Californians left the Golden State for the old Dust Bowl states of Oklahoma and Texas, twice the number that left those two states for California, recent Internal Revenue Service figures show. In fact, the mid-South gained more residents from California during those four years than either Oregon, Nevada or Arizona. The trend continued into 2008.

Yikes! That could be bad. I will be the second worse thing to ever happen to those Sooners.

The WORST thing ever to happen to those Sooners?

For the love of all that is good and pure

DO NOT, under ANY circumstances, CLICK THIS LINK! Don’t believe me? Ask Lance Burri

R.S. McCain sucks, and so do I!

One of my favorite blogging role models, Robert Stacy McCain sucks! He even says so, so it must be true. What really sucks about his sucking though is this. Apparently I have caught the BSV(Blogger Suckage Virus) from him.

He did not make these lists of best blogs, apparently because he sucks! I thought nothing of this obvious travesty, until I noted that I didn’t make the either, hence The next bit of evidence of my SUCKALICIOUSNESS? This list of the hottest Conservatve male bloggers. No RS McCain, and no ME either! Again, SUCKAPALOOZA!

The worst though? Just as RS McCain is heartachy, yes, I think that is a word I just made up, and yes, it probably SUCKS too! Anyway, McCain claims he REALLY knows he sucks because, he defended Michelle Malkin, and received no links from Allahpundit

As if to add an emphatic exclamation mark to this message, Allahpundit punctuated it unmistakably. I’d compiled a massive aggregation on the Playboy/Cimbalo “HateF***Gate” scandal, and then composed an editorial titled “Fire Them All, Mr. Flanders.”

Surely, as a stirring defense of The Boss, you might think this would merit linkage. You would be wrong. In fact, to emphasize how badly I suck, Allah linked another writer.

I can’t complain. To externalize blame by scapegoating Allah would be to evade personal responsibility for my own infinite suckitude. If Allah hates me — and who could doubt he does? – it is all my fault

Well, Allah might hate RS McCain, he might well hate me too. I really do not care about that. But, just like RS McCain sees proof  of his SUCKTASTICALNESS by Allah’s NOT linking him, I have my own heartbreaking proof of my SUCKTACULARNESS!

Recentky I not only roundly defended Michelle Malkin from unwarranted attacks. I also inducted her into my Politically Correct Hall of Fame. Yet, no linkage from my blogging role model.

Heartache! That, my friends is when it hit me like a freight train, I can’t blame Michelle, I just have to accept that well I SUCK AS BAD AS THE OTHER MCCAIN!

Is Bill Kristol wrong?

Well R.S.McCain blogging over at Hot Air’s Green Room, opines that Bill Kristol is, well, you know, a tad too optimistic about Obama’s intentions. This small taste sums up my feelings about Liberals. In fact, I have said the very same thing many times, in different words of course.

It is one thing to assume (at least, for the sake of argument) that a liberal like Obama desires what is good for America. It is another thing to assume that a liberal actually knows what is good for America, or that, knowing what is good, he will actually pursue the good competently and persistently. The history of liberalism disproves any such assumption.

We may give liberals credit for their good intentions – how else shall they pave the road to hell? — but we can never credit liberals with good sense.

If they had any sense, they wouldn’t be liberals, would they?

Actually, I have said previously that Liberals DO love America, and ARE patriotic. But, their love is misguided. What they WANT to do to make America “better” will never make us better, it will damage this nation.

As McCain said, intentions are fine, love and patriotism are too. But the RESULTS of intentions matter far, far more. And the results of Liberal’s intentions are almost always bad for America.

I also agree with McCain’s take on “intellectuals” as well. This is why I tend to think one of the biggest problens with the GOP are it’s intellectuals. They tend to miss the simple truths too often. R.S. McCain doesn’t.

Something else to blame on Bush

Here we go kids. We all know how much the Left LOVES to blame Bush. Well, here is something the Left is going to have to learn to thank President Bush for.

Millions of Iranians have poured into their streets the past couple days.

In the face of a dictator, they have shown the courage to stand up and let their voices be heard in support of free elections.

In support of Democracy.

Would this have even been possible without the development of a free and stable democratic system as established in neighboring Iraq?

Without pictures of purple Iraqi thumbs, would millions have donned their green scarves to protest a brutal regime? Would they have had the guts to say enough is enough?

And yes, we DO have President Bush to thank. Now, I know this thanking Bush deal will be tough on the Moonbats out there. But hey, it can be done, Tom Friedman can do it!

Taxing cow farts next?

We all know the government wants more cadh cows. They may have found one

Wouldn’t that be something?

We all know, or at least strongly suspect, OK, we KNOW, that the Iranian election was a farce. But, what if Ahmadinjad not only lost, but actually finished third? HMMMM. Wouldn’t THAT be something?

Mr Mousavi’s cancellation of the protest came as sporadic disturbances continued around the Iranian capital, and reports circulated of leaked interior ministry statistics showing him as the clear victor in last Friday’s polls.
The two other candidates, reformist Mehdi Karoubi and hardliner Mohsen Rezai, won 13.4 million and 3.7 million respectively

The statistics, circulated on Iranian blogs and websites, claimed Mr Mousavi had won 19.1 million votes while Mahmoud Ahmadinejad had won only 5.7 million.

I used to like cucumbers

Until I read this post from Pat Austin about a pervert and cucumbers!

Cucumber Guy is a 75 year old bus driver for the school system. According to KSLA News, “A Bossier Parish school bus driver has been arrested and charged with two counts of indecent behavior with a juvenile for using money to lure two 16-year old boys into committing sex acts on him with a variety of objects.” It seems that the man has a large vegetable garden, and, well…The Shreveport Times put it this way: Cucumber Guy “used money to entice the 16-year-olds into his home and have them stick objects, such as cucumbers and sex toys, into his rectum, police said. He paid them $20 for each occurrence, the most recent about a month ago.”

What a freak! Probably a hardcore LSU Tiger fan

Andy Sullivan back on the Moonbat Juice again

Donald Douglas has been all over the lunacy of Andrew Sullivan  all day today First, exposing Sullivan’s anti-Mormon bigotry. And now, Douglas has caught Little Andy going ful scale moonbat!

Ahmadinejad’s bag of tricks is eerily like that of Karl Rove – the constant use of fear, the exploitation of religion, the demonization of liberals, the deployment of Potemkin symbolism like Sarah Palin:

Got it kids? Sullivan is so far gone he actually equates, to some degree, the Iranian regime with the lat Amerocan adminstration.

Think of this regime as Cheney and Rove in a police state setting, and you see what’s been going on. (Of course, Rove and Cheney live within a democratic system utterly unlike Iran, and there’s no evidence they would violate democratic norms as Khamenei just did. But their demagoguery, abuse of the state, dedication to conflict abroad, co-optation of the armed forces, and manipulation of rural and religious voters all have parallels in Red State Iran.) We keep expecting to see some kind of shame or some attempt at rational dialogue. They have nothing but contempt for that kind of talk. If they’re going to lie, it’s gonna be a Big Lie. Like this sham of an election.

Good freaking grief Andy! You sounded more lucid when you were obsessing over Trig Palin. You know, I get this perverse vision of Andrew Sullivan, dancing around in some goofy costume, chanting and singing about Neocons and Trig Palin. Scary!

Update! It seems that CBS got into Andy’s Moonbat Juice!

A fascinating look at ideology

DonaldDouglas has a great post exploring the differences, similarities, and nuances of ideology.

It can be tough to categorize certain people’s “ideology” in one word. Take me, I am pro-life, pro-Second Ammendment, for smal ltaxes, and very small government.I abhor “sin taxes”, “blue laws” and other statutes that seek to nose the government into where it does not belong. I cringe when I hear of some “Conservative” groups trying to keep a Hooters from opening in the town.

Recently here, in the town I reside, there was a vote to allow the sale of wine and beer within city limits. I was solidly for allowing it. I recall a sign from a “Conservative” group opposed to it. The sign read, “protect our children, vote no on……” Really? Your kids are in danger if someone buys a beer at the corner store? What if they buy a beer in the next town? Does THAT endanger your kids too? Sorry, that group is engaging in assbackwards thinking.

Pot? Legalize it. The same with Gay adoptions. Kids need FAMILIES! Obviously the optimum situation for sadoption is a married couple, yes, folks, nature DID design it that way. But, if a loving Gay couple, or a loving single person, has the ability, why not let them adopt. Again, kids need families!

Gay marriage? Fine with me, let the States decide.

Sodomy laws? Completely un-American.

Bans of cell phones while driving? What of other “distracting” behaviors?  Why not just use existing careless driving laws? If someone is driving carelessly, ticket them!

Offended by a TV show? Change the channel and stop whining to the FCC. And please take your boycotts and, well, stick them.

So what IS my ideology? Libertarian? Conservative? Who knows, define me as you like. I pretty much want the government OUT of my life and everyone else’s, as long as the behavior is private, between consenting adults, and does not harm anyone else.

Iran’s election stolen?

It is an ugly scene in Iran after their election. One news agency is following the results, riots, police brutality, etc closely. That news agency? Well, it is NOT Tucker Carlson

Saturday Morning Full Metal Jacket Reach-Around post

Let’s get right to it

This story caught the eye of the Weasel Zippers, and with good reason. A teacher fired for being too patriotic? That could NEVER EVER happen in our Liberal education system could it?

The Washington Rebel lists 26 reason Democrats will not be getting any gifts from him. How intolerant

Slippery slopes and water slides have Warner Todd Huston’s attention

The Best and Worst things I ever spent money on? Why does the Purple Avenger want to know about that? But, OK, I will play along. The best? Why the money spent going to Colorado to hike these trails and see sites like this and this and this and this. The worst money I ever spent? I actualy, in my younger days, bought a case of this crap! I am still haunted by that.

Donald Douglas is covering the news that Obama might not get an invitation to the next Gay Pride March. It seems Obama, according to Douglas anyway, is a “feline” when it comes to backing up his campaign promises.

Becky Brindle takes Salon’s Joan Walsh to task for defending infanticide. You go Becky!

Blue Crab Boulevard is reporting that China is not so enthused about the whole reducing carbon emissions deal.

Lance Burri is having fun mocking the screwy math of Democrats.

Theo Spark reminds us to thank the inventor of bikinis! WOW!

The Other McCain is not optimistic about our economy, YIKES!

Carolyn Tackett is in shock, she has actually agreed with Bill Maher. Now that IS scary!

Speaking of scary, I cannot count the number of times I have asked myself if it ws OK to use a taser on a 72-year-old woman. Y’all have wondered about that I am sure. Well, GOOD news! Cassy Fiano answers it.

The Conservative Scalawag is shocked

And I am digging this blogs song of the day

Doug Powers is amazed at what Obama expects us to believe. I can sympathize with Doug. Liberal inconsistency has puzzled me for years.

Speaking of puzzled, Sweetness and Light is exposing the Democrats way of being bi-partisan. That AIN’T bi-partisan.

Media bias anyone? Stop the ACLU has a double helping to fill your gut! Those damned White people!

Pat Austin has some laughs for us.

Ah, more media bias, well, something even more inane than media bias

This is Maureen Dowd bias that the Slublog has unearthed

One of my blogging role models, the beautiful Sister Toldjah is digging into Leftist hypocrisy. I hope she brought a back ho, that is a LOT of digging!

Dan Rhiel is giving Obam credit for election turmoil in Iran. Hmmmmm

Look at this, Red State is taking a look at the Left’s new love for profiling.

Pundette is a big fan of  Mark Steyn and with very good reason

Public Secrets, on the other hand, is a fan of strange stories like , well go read it yourself

That story is almost, but not quite as stranged as this one from William Teach. The Left thinks Neocons want Iran to re-elect Ahmadinejad.

Paco Enterprisesl has an assortment of interesting items for us to peruse.

Grandpa John brings us an adorable fishing story, which, despite it’s cuteness, will no doubt deeply offend PETA!

Apparently the Taliban is obsessed with Obama’s ass. Well at least I think what Gateway Pundit is saying

Hot Air is all over the latest screw-up by Team Obama.

Is there anything global warming doesn’t cause?

Apparently not!

Oh goody! Now the government controls “big tobacco”

One step closer there Big Brother!

It’s done. The House just voted to give President Obama unprecedented power to take over the tobacco industry. I’ll get the roll call vote up as soon as it’s ready. Obama can’t wait to get his nicotine-stained hands all over another part of the economy, meddle with the contents and flavor, packaging, etc., etc., etc.

We have completely forgotten the Founders and the Constitution!
