A gun in the home…..
How mant times have we hear some Liberal bemoaning children victimized by a “gun in the home”, as if the gun is an animate object. Well, here is a story about a gun in the home, that saved two children!
Imagine being a ten year old boy home alone with your eight year old sister. There is a knock at the door. You tell your sister to be quiet. The knock becomes more insistent, and ultimately two grown thugs kick your door in.
That is what happened at a Port Allen, Louisiana apartment complex. The boy and his sister ran to hide in a closet. The home invaders quickly gave chase. They snatched open the closet door, pouring a blinding light on the trembling children.
But the ten year old boy had grabbed his mother’s handgun as he closed the closet door behind himself and his sister. Because that handgun was in that home, two children are alive and well, and two armed criminals who would assault and quite probably kill without remorse are behind bars. Their juvenile get-away driver is in jail as well.
Show this story to anyone you know that buys into the Left’s lies about guns in the home.

Ok, so if we move this luggage, and these empty hangers, and these, what are these? Bell-Bottom jeans? And Ok, behind the romance novels, with bare-chested men on them, we find….
Looking at what is being included in the various versions of the bill it is not a stretch to conclude that ObamaCare is more about limiting health care as it is about providing it. Including both “end of life” and abortion in the bill provides a very clear picture of where the Administration’s priorities lie.

Some terminally ill patients in Oregon who turned to their state for health care were denied treatment and offered doctor-assisted suicide instead, a proposal some experts have called a “chilling” corruption of medical ethics.
Since the spread of his prostate cancer, 53-year-old Randy Stroup of Dexter, Ore., has been in a fight for his life. Uninsured and unable to pay for expensive chemotherapy, he applied to Oregon’s state-run health plan for help.
Lane Individual Practice Association (LIPA), which administers the Oregon Health Plan in Lane County, responded to Stroup’s request with a letter saying the state would not cover Stroup’s pricey treatment, but would pay for the cost of physician-assisted suicide.

Dr. Obama to the middle class
Bend over and try to relax. Remember all the many times Obama vowed NOT to tax the middle class to pay for Obamacare? Never mind!
The one commitment that I’ve been clear about is I don’t want that final one-third of the cost of health care to be completely shouldered on the backs of middle class families who are already struggling in a difficult economy.
And so, if I see a proposal that is primarily funded through taxing middle class families, I’m going to be opposed to that because I think there are better ideas to do it.

I’ve bolded the weasel words. This represents a major shift in Obama’s tax positions. No longer will middle-class families see their taxes “actually decrease,” as Obama pledged in the campaign. Now, he will be fine with raising their taxes to pay for his massive socialization of health care, as long as he can say that the taxes won’t “primarily” come from the middle class. He doesn’t want the burden “completely shouldered” by the middle class, but that leaves a lot of room as to how much they will pay in higher taxes and fees for it. Finally, Obama says he would “be opposed” to such an approach, but never says that he would veto it if it hit his desk.
An overdose of Obama?
CNN asks the question, But personally, I want to know if there is a plan in ObamaCare to treat Obama overdoses? Obamdoses!
Why does Obama hate the police?
I am just asking, because to me calling police stupid, when you do not even know what exactly happened
“I think that I have extraordinary respect for the difficulties of the job that police officers do,” the president told Moran. “And my suspicion is that words were exchanged between the police officer and Mr. Gates and that everybody should have just settled down and cooler heads should have prevailed. That’s my suspicion.”
The president said he understands the sergeant who arrested Gates is an “outstanding police officer.” But he added that with all that’s going on in the country with health care and the economy and the wars abroad, “it doesn’t make sense to arrest a guy in his own home if he’s not causing a serious disturbance.”
Hmmm, what in the Blue Hell does the health care debate, or the economy have to do with police arresting someone? And the wars abroad? Is our president suggesting that police should “settle down” and weigh the war in Afghanistan or Iraq before they decided if they are going to arrest someone? Hell why not throw climate change in there Mr. President?
Good freaking grief! Why not ask them to debate Tonsilitis while they are at it?
Stupid is as……
Texas Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, fresh off the Michael Jackson memorial, never fails to entertain, and today is no different:
Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas) told activists rallying on Capitol Hill in support of the newly reintroduced Equal Rights Amendment (ERA), that the United States should join 27 other countries that have equality guarantees for women, including Rwanda, Algeria, China and Afghanistan.
“It does make a difference if an Equal Rights Amendment is in place or not,” Lee told the people who gathered outside of the Capitol on Tuesday.
“Twenty-seven other countries, including Rwanda, Afghanistan, Algeria and China have equality provisions,” Lee said.
Because when you think of equal rights, you think of Rwanda, Algeria, China and Afghanistan.
In the literal interpretation of “equal rights,” Lee is correct. In China, for example, dissidents are all equally thrown in prison or equally killed. Babies conceived to parents who already have one child are equally murdered.
Once again, a Liberal cares moreabout a stupid piece of paper, than ACTUAL action! Women have every equality in America. Maybe if she eve read a thing called the Constitution, she might realize it!
