Maxine Waters: The media should go after protesters!
Typical Another would-be elitist with nothing but contempt for any American whose opinions she disagrees with. Water’s solution for protesters who do not fall in line? media probes! Stalin would be so proud wouldn’t he?
The media should investigate the racial views of conservative activists like the ones who descended on Washington last weekend, one liberal congresswoman said Wednesday.the liberal Bill Press Radio show in a podcast. “I want journalists to be all over those rallies and the marches with the birthers and the teabaggers.”
Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) said that it’s not enough for African-Americans to levy allegations of racism against the right-leaning protesters, and that the media must look into their views.
“I want those people talked to; I want them interviewed,” Waters told
“What I’m looking for is the very people who carry the signs who are referring to the policies in very, very strange ways like ‘Obamacare’ and ‘Barry Obamacare with Kennedy,’” she said. “What I’ve been interested in is hearing from those people that everybody’s referring to — everybody on the Mall, in the rally.”
Folks, is it sinking in yet? Your representatives do not want to hear from you, EVER! Unless of course you agree with them, and agree to allow them to exercise whatever controls over YOUR money, YOUR life, and YOUR liberty that they see fit to implement!
If you offer a dissenting voice, well, they will call you racist, Nazi, terrorist, insane, and seek to unleash the media upon you. No matter your party affiliation, or your ideology, you ought to be outraged over such tactics.
Our government, grown fat, corrupt, and power-hungry over decades, now holds nothing but disdain for the people. Think about what this means. Our government has ceased to understand it’s proper role in our republic. They, instead of seeing themselves as representatives, see themselves as masters. Guess what that makes us in their perverse view? What Waters has called for is something we might expect to read about from North Korea, Cuba, the old USSR or China.
This, however is happening today, in America. Our government, calling for investigations of those who exercise our first amendment rights!

Not long ago, a liberal reporter found my blog and asked me to comment on a local politician running for Detroit City Council. The guy’s name is Charles Pugh, a black man and gay.
She was looking for me to say something controversial, you know, raaaaacist and bigoted, but I didn’t. What I wrote for her didn’t even address those issues. After reading it, she contacted me again asking why I didn’t mention him being black or gay. I asked her why that mattered … we had a few more back and forths. Not getting what she wanted, she left my commentary out of her article.
In other words, the media doesn’t “investigate” raaaaacism, they look to instigate it!
