Obama Scrapping Missile Shield For Czech, Poland – AP
The Czech prime minister says President Barack Obama has told him that the U.S. is abandoning plans to put a missile shield in the Czech Republic and Poland.
Czech Premier Jan Fischer told reporters in Prague on Thursday that Obama phoned him to say that Washington has decided to scrap the plan that had deeply angered Russia.
Fischer says Obama confirmed that Washington no longer intends to put 10 interceptor missiles in Poland and a radar system in the Czech Republic.
The Bush administration had said the missile shield was a strategic way to counter a threat from Iran or another rogue state in the Middle East. But Russia was deeply angered by the prospect of having U.S. interceptor rockets in countries so close to its territory.

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs alluded to video, taken by the conservative site BigGovernment.com, showing ACORN employees giving advice to individuals posing as sex traffickers.
“Obviously, the conduct that you see on those tapes is completely unacceptable. I think everyone would agree to that,” Gibbs said. “The administration takes accountability extremely seriously.”

The media should investigate the racial views of conservative activists like the ones who descended on Washington last weekend, one liberal congresswoman said Wednesday.the liberal Bill Press Radio show in a podcast. “I want journalists to be all over those rallies and the marches with the birthers and the teabaggers.”
Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) said that it’s not enough for African-Americans to levy allegations of racism against the right-leaning protesters, and that the media must look into their views.
“I want those people talked to; I want them interviewed,” Waters told
“What I’m looking for is the very people who carry the signs who are referring to the policies in very, very strange ways like ‘Obamacare’ and ‘Barry Obamacare with Kennedy,’” she said. “What I’ve been interested in is hearing from those people that everybody’s referring to — everybody on the Mall, in the rally.”
Folks, is it sinking in yet? Your representatives do not want to hear from you, EVER! Unless of course you agree with them, and agree to allow them to exercise whatever controls over YOUR money, YOUR life, and YOUR liberty that they see fit to implement!

Our government, grown fat, corrupt, and power-hungry over decades, now holds nothing but disdain for the people. Think about what this means. Our government has ceased to understand it’s proper role in our republic. They, instead of seeing themselves as representatives, see themselves as masters. Guess what that makes us in their perverse view? What Waters has called for is something we might expect to read about from North Korea, Cuba, the old USSR or China.

Conservatives seem to catch on pretty quickly to the fact that they are not fascists, but our liberal friends seem to have a hard time wrapping their heads around the concept. So, for their sake – one last time.
At the extreme end of the left-wing are the collectivist ideologies, including fascism. Collectivists believe in building a massive government, and having everything under the government’s control. The whole Nazi grab-bag – concentration camps, swastikas, jackboots, et al., belongs to the left-wing.
At the extreme right of the political spectrum are anarchists, and they don’t build anything. As soon as they see a government – democratic, fascist, whatever – they want to destroy it. It’s what they do. There’s no way in the world that the Far Right could be fascists
So it’s been swell having the Far Left pretend that we are one of them, but they need to take back their swastikas, jackboots, and armbands now – we insist.
As for the Far Left calling the right-wing “racists,” well, that needs to stop too.
Pretty soon the Far Left is going to run out of things to call us. I suppose they’ll have to resort to calling us “commies.” “Lousy right-wing pinkos!”

As I’ve discussed in prior articles, the left-wing during the first half of the 20th century called themselves Progressives, and the Progressives were passionate promoters of the teachings of eugenics. They were especially fond of the eugenic notions of racial “cleansing.”
The Ku Klux Klan of the day was a creature of the Progressive Left – future Democratic President, Harry S. Truman, belonged to the Ku Klux Klan, as did future liberal Supreme Court justice Hugo Black.
The “Jim Crow” South was politically speaking, solidly left-wing. For decades the racially segregated south was a bastion of the left-wing Democratic Party.
The Progressives pushed the concept of a national minimum wage, in order to keep the “inferior” races from competing for jobs better filled by Caucasians, and the modern welfare state was initially started as a government vehicle for racial purification.

“The inefficient.” Jeeze, Royal Meeker sounds almost as bad as Ezekiel Emmanuel.
In an article in the April 3, 1913 edition of The New York Times, Meeker suggested that America’s children should be subject to “compulsory civil service.” “No private or parochial schools should be permitted to trespass upon the child’s time of preparation for service to the state.”
Some things never change. The left-wing drooling over big government is nothing new, trust me. Nor is their racial bigotry.
The Negro Project: Margret Sanger’s Eugenic Plan for Black Americans
Planned Parenthood annually gives out awards called “Maggies,” named after liberal icon Margaret Sanger – considered the “saint” of birth control, and the founder of Planned Parenthood. (I love the Left and their euphemisms – calling planned infanticide, “Planned Parenthood.” Cute).
In her own words, Sanger was not a “fit person for love, or home, or children, or anything which needs attention or consideration.” Wonderful role model for parenting – I can see why Planned Parenthood adores her.
Planned Parenthood should engrave Sanger’s words on the next batch of Maggies they hand out. “Not a fit person for love, or home, or anything which needs attention or consideration.”
Describing what she considered to be the main aim of birth control, Sanger wrote, “More children from the fit, and less from the unfit – that is the chief issue of birth control.” In other words, birth control was used by the Left as a device to limit the population of what they considered “undesirable” elements of society – especially blacks.
Sanger was behind what was called the “Negro Project” – the forerunner of today’s Planned Parenthood. The idea behind the left-wing’s “Negro Project” was to limit, if not eliminate, America’s black population.
Tanya Green writes, “By 1949, Sanger had hoodwinked black America’s best and brightest into believing birth control’s “life-saving benefits.” In a monumental feat, she bewitched virtually an entire network of black social, professional and academic organizations into endorsing Planned Parenthood’s eugenic program.”

Sanger didn’t do it alone, of course, the left-wing helped her. The left-wing helped her a lot. Eugenics, after all, was one of the main planks in the Progressive/Democratic platform. Left-wing social engineering at its finest. No wonder Hitler took notes from the American Left.
Although the motivations behind Planned Parenthood may have changed over the years, the results are the same – racial genocide. Look up the figures, and do the math.
It is perhaps because of an unconscious acknowledgement of their own vile racist past, that white liberals are such spineless milquetoasts when it come to black racism.
Naked Biker Ends Up Wearing Handcuffs – Ocala Business Journal
Marion County Sheriff’s Capt. Mike Rolls did a double take early Tuesday. Was that motorcyclist who just passed him wearing any clothes?
No, he wasn’t. Not even a helmet.
Before long, though, the nude rider was wearing handcuffs. He was arrested and charged with DUI.
Dante J. Krauss, 45, of Dunnellon, whose arrest record includes several previous DUIs, bonded out of the Marion County Jail later Tuesday. He declined an interview with the Star-Banner.
Rolls, who was serving as the shift’s watch commander early Tuesday, said he was eastbound on State Road 200 near Interstate 75 when he saw the strange sight driving westbound toward the interstate’s northbound on-ramp.
As he later reported to Deputy Christine Post, Rolls followed the motorcyclist onto northbound I-75. The rider exited at the first exit, which was State Road 40.
Rolls stopped him in the 3800 block of SR 40 after he ran a stoplight.
Post noted in her report that Krauss was standing next to his silver 2006 Kawasaki motorcycle and was not wearing any clothing.
The unemployed man told the deputy he did not remember where he was coming from, and said the last thing he remembered was going to Hooters, according to the report. Hooters is off SR 200 near the interstate.
When asked if he had anything to drink, he said yes. He had no explanation for his nudity.

Killed Trying To Rescue Injured Comrade Three Times, Soldier Receives Top Honor
Soon after Sgt. Jared Monti died – killed by a rocket-propelled grenade while trying to save a comrade high in the mountains of Afghanistan in 2006 – his father Paul found hidden in his son’s bedroom drawer a bronze star, five Army commendation medals and four Army achievement medals.
“He never told anyone he won them. He was always very humble. He didn’t want accolades. He didn’t want medals. He wanted his work to speak for itself. When he was a kid he was never one to jump up and down and say ‘look at me,’” said Paul Monti.
Soon Monti, 30, will be awarded another medal, the highest award the U.S. military bestows for bravery – the Medal of Honor.
This time, however, his parents Paul and Janet Monti will know about it.
On Thursday, they will go to the White House and receive their son’s medal – a gold star surrounded by a wreath, suspended by a star-emblazoned blue ribbon. Prominent between the medal and the ribbon is the simple epitaph “VALOR.”
The medal presented “for conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity… above and beyond the call of duty,” will be the sixth awarded since Sept. 11, 2001.
Left on a narrow ridge longer than expected while on an intelligence-gathering mission, Monti and the 15 men under his command found themselves ambushed by a surprisingly large enemy force, who were so close when a firefight began that the Americans could hear the insurgents whispering around them.
The attack came so quickly that just as Monti ordered the men to set up a defensive position behind a pile of rocks, “RPGs came in fast and furiously, skipping off rocks and exploding in the trees above our heads,” said Sgt. Christopher Cunningham, a sniper who was part of the squad.
“There was so much machine gun fire that trees were being split by the bullets all around us and the branches were catching shrapnel like catchers mitts,” he said.
In the midst of the firefight, while calling for air support and firing his own weapon, Monti realized one of his soldiers was wounded in the area between the advancing Taliban fighters and his squad.
“With complete disregard for his own safety,” an Army report notes, three times Monti ran into oncoming fire in an attempt to rescue the soldier, Pvt. Brian Bradbury.
On the third attempt, he was hit by a rocket-propelled grenade that blasted his legs and killed him.
“It’s normal for a guy to go out there and try to rescue someone once. But to go again is unheard of,” said Cunningham. “To go a third time – either you’re getting him or there’s no coming back. It was the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen ever.”
Boy Fakes Kidnapping To Shed Bad Report Card – Huntsville Times
An 11-year-old boy faked his kidnapping Friday to avoid bringing home his bad report card, Huntsville police said.
The Ed White Middle School student claimed a man in a red, beat-up car grabbed him after school at the intersection of Trail Ridge and Grizzard roads and forced him into the vehicle.
“I’m going to take you somewhere and kill you,” the boy claimed the man said. The boy also said the man had a pistol.
The boy then claimed to have jumped from the vehicle – without his bookbag, which contained the report card – and ran to his grandparents’ house.
That’s when the boy confessed to making the whole thing up to cover for his bad grades. His grandfather called police to apologize and report the boy’s story.
Man Accused Of Plotting Mayhem To Win Woman’s Love – Journal Sentinel
During the 18 months of a long-distance relationship that was too platonic for his liking, a Cudahy welder gave an Illinois woman as much as $100,000, and even paid the rent and utilities on a home for her and her mother.
But 35-year-old Jimmy Santiago Dominguez, a confessed loser in love, couldn’t win the heart of Elissa Rodriguez, who is 12 years his junior.
So last month, Dominguez hatched what authorities say was a criminal plot that he hoped would bring him and Rodriguez together.
The plan? Hire his roommate to kidnap Rodriguez, slash her face repeatedly with a utility knife and torch her Toyota.
That way, Dominguez reasoned, he could “be there for her,” helping his disfigured angel recover from her wounds by giving her tender care and a brand new car.
The roommate, however, took his story to police and the police took Dominguez to jail, charging him with three felonies that could put him in prison for decades.
DA: Home Invaders’ Ruse Involved Obama, Health Care – Newsday
They were well-dressed when they knocked on the door of a Huntington home last month and said they had information about President Barack Obama’s health care plan.
That’s how they got inside to commit a violent home invasion on Aug. 29, a Suffolk prosecutor said Monday.
Benjamin Thompson had a stethoscope around his neck and Natalie Desir carried a clipboard with pamphlets, Assistant District Attorney Glenn Kurtzrock said after their arraignments in Riverhead.
A woman who lives at the house answered the door and said she would take one of the pamphlets. That’s when Thompson, 31, of Brooklyn and Desir, 26, of Nyack forced their way inside, Kurtzrock said.
He gave the following account:
Another man, Vance Jackson, had been hiding outside and also forced his way into the home. Jackson, 46, of Yonkers took the woman’s boyfriend upstairs and shot him in the neck, chased him downstairs and shot him several more times.
Thompson shot the female resident in the foot while she was sitting next to her 2-year-old daughter and also pistol-whipped the woman’s mother, injuring her head.
The three fled with about $4,000 in cash in a getaway car driven by Theodore Briggs, 40, of the Bronx. A fifth suspect who was outside is still at large.
Jackson, Thompson, Briggs and Desir pleaded not guilty Monday to robbery and assault charges.
Thompson, whose previous convictions include attempted robbery and rape, and Jackson, whose convictions include robbery and criminal possession of a weapon, met in prison, Kurtzrock said.
He said the two hatched the home invasion plan while waiting to meet with their parole officers in the Bronx.
Because of their previous convictions, they face potential life sentences, Kurtzrock said.
All of the money was later found in Jackson’s and Thompson’s pockets, he said.
45% Of Doctors Would Consider Quitting If Congress Passes Health Care Overhaul – Investor’s Business Daily
Two of every three practicing physicians oppose the medical overhaul plan under consideration in Washington, and hundreds of thousands would think about shutting down their practices or retiring early if it were adopted, a new IBD/TIPP Poll has found.
The poll contradicts the claims of not only the White House, but also doctors’ own lobby — the powerful American Medical Association — both of which suggest the medical profession is behind the proposed overhaul.
It also calls into question whether an overhaul is even doable; 72% of the doctors polled disagree with the administration’s claim that the government can cover 47 million more people with better-quality care at lower cost.
The IBD/TIPP Poll was conducted by mail the past two weeks, with 1,376 practicing physicians chosen randomly throughout the country taking part. Responses are still coming in, and doctors’ positions on related topics — including the impact of an overhaul on senior care, medical school applications and drug development — will be covered later in this series.
Major findings included:
• Two-thirds, or 65%, of doctors say they oppose the proposed government expansion plan. This contradicts the administration’s claims that doctors are part of an “unprecedented coalition” supporting a medical overhaul.
It also differs with findings of a poll released Monday by National Public Radio that suggests a “majority of physicians want public and private insurance options,” and clashes with media reports such as Tuesday’s front-page story in the Los Angeles Times with the headline “Doctors Go For Obama’s Reform.”
Nowhere in the Times story does it say doctors as a whole back the overhaul. It says only that the AMA — the “association representing the nation’s physicians” and what “many still regard as the country’s premier lobbying force” — is “lobbying and advertising to win public support for President Obama’s sweeping plan.”
The AMA, in fact, represents approximately 18% of physicians and has been hit with a number of defections by members opposed to the AMA’s support of Democrats’ proposed health care overhaul.
• Four of nine doctors, or 45%, said they “would consider leaving their practice or taking an early retirement” if Congress passes the plan the Democratic majority and White House have in mind.
More than 800,000 doctors were practicing in 2006, the government says. Projecting the poll’s finding onto that population, 360,000 doctors would consider quitting.
