Breeder Kept Cats In Freezer – The Sun UK
A cat breeder who kept four dead moggies in her freezer was today banned from ever keeping the animals again.
RSPCA chiefs had to put down 28 of cruel Innez Tyrell’s 72 Persians after finding them in appalling conditions at her tiny two-bedroom house.
District Judge Bruce Morgan told the 60-year-old he had never heard of a case where so many animals had to be destroyed because of one person’s actions.

He also branded her treatment of the cats “cruelty beyond belief” after hearing of the horrific conditions they had been kept in.
Rescuers were forced to stump up an incredible £100,000 for cattery and veterinary expenses to save the other 44 cats.
After a raid on Tyrell’s home in Leegomery, Shrops, last year, investigators were stunned to find a scene of dead, dying and disease-ridden cats and a house full of animal faeces.
Corpses of four cats, three of them kittens, were found rotting in the freezer next to food for the other cats — and Tyrell’s own food.
Telford Magistrates Court heard she had been selling the “beautiful” Persian cats for up to £300 each.
RSPCA prosecutor Paul Taylor said officers who raided the house were hit by a terrible smell.
He said: “One police officer, Inspector Sedden, had to leave the house as he almost vomited when he went in there.
“This is an officer of 20 years experience, so to get this reaction shows the level of ammonia in the air.
“Of the cats found many suffered ocular disease, dental disease, upper respiratory tract disease, and facial pioderma.
“One cat had severely deformed hind limbs and couldn’t walk properly and should have been taken to the vets immediately.
“The hall stairs and landing of the house were covered in cat faeces and were stained with urine.
“This was not a case of a cat lover who had taken on too many cats to care for – this was a fully paid-up commercial cat breeder.”

Huge Blow To Charlie Crist Today – RedState
When Charlie Crist is losing even the establishment he is in serious trouble.
Congressmen Lincoln and Mario Diaz-Balart have withdrawn their endorsements of Charlie Crist.
Lincoln offered few details as to why, just that Crist had “left us no alternative and he knows why.”
Diaz-Balart said the withdrawal has nothing to do with Crist’s slumping poll numbers, and in fact, the decision was made weeks ago.
I have heard, though I do not know if it is true, that they are unhappy with a number of Crist’s recent policy decisions and a suggestion that Crist would be weak on Cuban policy. That last bit is a huge issue in South Florida.
Regardless of why, that establishment Republicans are now not just not endorsing, but yanking their endorsements, is a huge problem for Crist.
I say it again: I think Crist will drop out.
Officials: House Democrat Will Switch To GOP – News Max
Senior House aides say freshman Democratic (Communist) lawmaker Parker Griffith of Alabama is switching to the Republican Party.

Griffith was narrowly elected last year from a region of northern Alabama that includes Huntsville and Decatur. President (Chairman) Barack Obama lost the district badly to Republican John McCain.
Griffith is a radiation oncologist. His switch comes as Congress is trying to pass a much-contested healthcare bill. Democrats (Communist) will still control the House by a substantial margin.
Road Sign Warns Of Zombie Attack – WKMG
Florida’s Department of Transportation says Gainesville motorists need not fear a zombie attack.
Transportation officials reassured drivers on Monday after hackers posted “ZOMBIE ATTACK!! EVACUATE,” on an electronic sign during the morning commute.
Earlier this year, a manager at the University of Florida’s e-Learning Web site posted an elaborate zombie attack preparedness plan. The plan was meant to encourage thinking about how to handle a campus closure.
Gina Busscher, of the Florida Department of Transportation, said Monday’s message was a hoax by someone who hacked the sign via telephone or on site.
No zombies have been seen on University Avenue, Busscher said.
History Of Climate Gets ‘Erased’ Online – WorldNetDaily
A new report reveals a British scientist and Wikipedia administrator rewrote climate history, editing more than 5,000 unique articles in the online encyclopedia to cover traces of a medieval warming period – something Climategate scientists saw as a major roadblock in the effort to spread the global warming message.
Recently hacked e-mails from the University of East Anglia’s Climate Research Unit expose a plot to eliminate the Medieval Warm Period, a 400-year era that began around A.D. 1000, the Financial Post’s Lawrence Solomon reports.
The warming period is said to have improved agriculture and increased life spans, but scientists at the center of the Climategate e-mail scandal believed the era undermined their goal of spreading concern about global warming as it pertains to today’s climate.
Solomon noted the warming period presented a dilemma long before the Climategate e-mail scandal.
A 1995 e-mail predating the recent Climate Research Unit scandal was sent to geophysicist David Deming. A major climate-change researcher told Deming, “We have to get rid of the Medieval Warm Period.”
Police: Oregon Man Tries Stealing ATM To Get His Card Back – KVAL
Just after 3 p.m. Saturday Eugene Police received a call from an Albertsons store reporting a male subject attempting to wrap a chain around the ATM inside the store.

Police said the man had driven his vehicle up onto the sidewalk to the doors of the business, almost running over a customer at the 55 Division Ave. store in Eugene’s Santa Clara neighborhood.
His attempts were thwarted by his female companion. While he was busy inside with the chain, she reportedly jumped into the vehicle and drove it out into the parking lot, parked and locked the vehicle, and then fled on foot.
The suspect was in front of the store when officers arrived to investigate. Police said the man was angry because his ATM card had not come out of the machine.
Arrested on a number of charges was Mark Seals.
Obama Approval Plummets To All-Time Low Following Senate Advancement Of Unconstitutional Healthcare Bill
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows that 25% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that (Comrade) Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-six percent (46%) Strongly Disapprove giving (Comrade) Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -21. That’s the lowest Approval Index rating yet recorded for this President.
Fifty-three percent (53%) of men Strongly Disapprove along with 39% of women. Most African-American voters (58%) Strongly Approve while most white voters (53%) Strongly Disapprove.
Seventy-four percent (74%) of Republicans Strongly Disapprove as do 52% of unaffiliated voters. Forty-seven percent (47%) of Democrats (Communists) Strongly Approve.
For the second straight day, the update shows the highest level of Strong Disapproval yet recorded for this President. That negative rating had never topped 42% before yesterday. However, it has risen dramatically since the Senate found 60 votes to move forward with the proposed health care reform legislation.
Payoffs For States Get Harry Reid To 60 Votes – Politico
(Comrade) Ben Nelson’s “Cornhusker Kickback,” as the GOP is calling it, got all the attention Saturday, but other senators lined up for deals as Majority Leader (Comrade) Harry Reid corralled the last few votes for a health reform package.
(Comrade) Nelson’s might be the most blatant – a deal carved out for a single state, a permanent exemption from the state share of Medicaid expansion for Nebraska, meaning federal taxpayers have to kick in an additional $45 million in the first decade.
But another Democratic (Communist) holdout, Sen. (Comrade) Bernie Sanders (C-Vt.), took credit for $10 billion in new funding for community health centers, while denying it was a “sweetheart deal.” He was clearly more enthusiastic about a bill he said he couldn’t support just three days ago.
(Comrade) Nelson and Sen. (Comrade) Carl Levin (C-Mich.) carved out an exemption for non-profit insurers in their states from a hefty excise tax. Similar insurers in the other 48 states will pay the tax.
Vermont and Massachusetts were given additional Medicaid funding, another plus for (Comrade) Sanders and Sen. (Comrade) Patrick Leahy (C-Vt.) Three states – Pennsylvania, New York and Florida – all won protections for their Medicare Advantage beneficiaries at a time when the program is facing cuts nationwide.
All of this came on top of a $300 million increase for Medicaid in Louisiana, designed to win the vote of Democratic (Communist) Sen. (Comrade) Mary Landrieu.
Under pressure from the White House to get a deal done by Christmas, (Comrade) Reid was unapologetic. He argued that, by definition, legislating means deal making and defended the special treatment for (Comrade) Nelson’s home state of Nebraska.
“You’ll find a number of states that are treated differently than other states. That’s what legislating is all about. It’s compromise,” he said.
It was (Comrade) Nelson who proved that he who plays hardest to get, gets the most.
He forced (Comrade) Reid to redraft the bill’s restrictions on federal funding of abortion. And while most insiders were focused on that deal, (Comrade) Nelson was quietly ensuring that his state would never have to pay for the Medicaid expansion being written into the bill – an agreement that had been in the works for weeks.
Medicaid is usually paid for with a mix of federal and state funding, but (Comrade) Nelson’s carve out means that any Medicaid beneficiaries who join the program under the bill will be fully paid for by the federal government.
It’s an important deal considering that many governors are worried that the Medicaid expansion will further strain already stressed state budgets – and one that came after Nebraska Gov. Dave Heineman called on (Comrade) Nelson to vote against the bill.
“The State of Nebraska cannot afford an unfunded mandate and uncontrolled spending of this magnitude,” the governor wrote to (Comrade) Nelson.
(Comrade) Nelson deferred all questions on the provision to (Comrade) Reid, saying only that he was “comfortable” the deal that took care of Nebraska.
But (Comrade) Nelson’s deal could be a pittance compared to where the Nebraska compromise might ultimately lead – to 49 other states demanding that the feds pick up their share of health reform’s new Medicaid burden when it kicks in during 2017.
“When you look at it, I thought well, God, good, it is going to be the impetus for all the states to stay at 100 percent [federal funding]. So he might have done all of us a favor,” Sen. (Comrade) Tom Harkin (C-Iowa) said of (Comrade) Nelson’s dealings.
(Comrades) Nelson and Levin also pushed a provision that exempts non-profit insurers in Nebraska and Michigan from an annual multi-billion dollar excise tax on insurance companies.
Not surprisingly, both states are home to non-profit insurers who control a high-percentage of the industry’s profits. In Michigan, non-profit insurers control 76 percent of the industry’s profits – one of the highest percentages in the nation – while Nebraska non-profits control 46 percent of their state’s profits.
And in an example of how closely senators guarded details, (Comrade) Levin’s office did not answer any questions about the proposal when asked about it on Friday.
Republicans, meanwhile, expressed outrage at the wheeling and dealing, as if their party had never cut a legislative deal in its 150-year history.
“This bill is a monstrosity, a 2,100-page monstrosity full of special deals for people who are willing to vote for it,” said Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell. “And they’re playing these kind of games with the nation’s health care. This is an outrage.”
But (Comrade) Sanders didn’t sound outraged when he talked about the extra Medicaid funding Vermont will get for six years. Massachusetts, meanwhile, received three years worth of additional Medicaid funding. Under the original bill, neither state had qualified for the money.
Republican Sen. Mike Enzi accused Democratic (Communist) leaders of favoring Medicare Advantage beneficiaries in Pennsylvania, New York and Florida at the expense of seniors in other parts of the country.
“The Democrats (Communists) are playing ‘Let’s make a deal’ with trillions of your hard-earned tax dollars. You and all the American people should know that the majority leader is buying his votes with your money,” said Enzi (R-Wyo.) “The Reid bill gives sweetheart deals to a few states and the rest of the country will foot the bill. Making unfair deals like this is the wrong way to legislate and the American people know it.”
And while there were plenty of state-specific deals, some of the changes were clearly aimed at pleasing specific Democratic (Communist) factions. For instance, tightened insurance regulations went a long way toward putting a smile on the faces of liberal senators who have lost their much-loved public option.
The amendment mandates that insurers spend no less than 80 percent of their premium revenues providing medical care. Currently, insurers spend about 70 percent of their premiums paying for health care. The bill also eliminates insurers’ ability to cap annual coverage amounts.
In brief remarks at the White House, President (Chairman) Barack Obama also highlighted some new provisions, including penalties for insurers who “arbitrarily jack up rates” and an immediate prohibition on insures’ ability to deny children coverage.
(Comrade) Obama, too, talked of the deals as just the cost of doing business in Washington.
“As with any legislation, compromise is part of the process,” (Comrade) Obama said. “But I’m pleased that recently added amendments have made this landmark bill even stronger.”

Man Exonerated, Freed From Prison After 35 Years – CNN
After more than three decades in prison, a Florida man was set free Thursday after a DNA test showed he did not kidnap and rape a 9-year-old boy in 1974.
“I’m not angry,” James Bain, 54, told reporters after a brief hearing in Bartow, Florida.
Bain was 19 when he was convicted on charges of kidnapping, burglary and strong-arm rape. He received a life sentence. He’s going home for the first time in 35 years.
“I got God in my head,” said Bain, surrounded by supporters and wearing a T-shirt with “Not Guilty” across the front. “I knew one day he will reveal me.”
Of the 245 people in the United States whom DNA testing has exonerated, none has spent more time behind bars than Bain, according to the Innocence Project, a national organization dedicated to exonerating wrongfully convicted people through such testing.
In 2001, Florida passed a statute allowing cases to be reopened for DNA testing. Bain submitted handwritten motions four times seeking such testing but was denied each time. His fifth attempt was successful after an appeals court ruled he was entitled to a hearing.
Bain initially was expected to be freed with some conditions as the state wanted a further review of DNA test results. But the review was completed ahead of Thursday’s hearing.
Polk County State Attorney Jerry Hill told the judge that DNA testing had excluded Bain from the crime.
“He’s just not connected with this particular incident,” Hill said.
“Mr. Bain, I’m now signing the order, sir,” the judge said, referring to an order vacating the judgment and sentence.
“You are a free man. Congratulations,” he said, and the courtroom erupted into applause.
In 1974, the 9-year-old Lake Wales, Florida, victim had told police that his attacker had bushy sideburns and a mustache. After being shown five photos of potential suspects, the victim picked out one of Bain, the police report said.
The victim, now 44, lives in Florida and was made aware of Bain’s situation, according to multiple sources.
Speaking to reporters Thursday, Bain said he was going home with family. “I’m going to see my mom,” he said.
His mother, Sarah Reed, has been in and out of hospitals in recent years. She said she is putting her house and her car in her son’s name. “I want him to have something by himself. He’s suffered enough,” she said.
Asked about prison, Bain said, “So many things can happen to you at any time.” But now, “I guess I kind of feel like when they first landed on the moon. We have touchdown,” he said, laughing.
20 Senators Demand Probe Of Health-Care Vote ‘Threat’ – WorldNetDaily
Twenty senators are demanding an investigation into reports the Obama administration threatened to close Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska if that state’s Democratic (Communist) senator, Ben Nelson, didn’t join other Democrats (Communists) in voting for health-care reform.
The group of 20, all Republicans, today called for a hearing in a letter to Senate Armed Services Committee Chairman Carl Levin, (Communist-Mich.), and the committee’s top Republican Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz.
The text of the letter states:
It has been reported that the Obama Administration threatened the closure of a U.S. military installation for political purposes, thereby bringing into question the integrity of the Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) process. The BRAC process was established to remove political influence so that the decision to close or not to close a military installation could be based upon military utility.
Specifically, various media reports have stated that the Obama Administration would put Offutt AFB in southeastern Nebraska on a future BRAC list because of a vote on healthcare reform. While we recognize the importance of Offutt AFB as the headquarters of U.S. Strategic Command and the approximately 10,000 individuals that work there, we feel that this installation should remain open or be closed on its own merits.
Therefore, we respectfully ask that a hearing be held as to whether the BRAC process has been compromised. We do not want to see the name of a base from our state on a BRAC list and think it has been put there to settle partisan scores. We also do not want our bases to be more vulnerable to closure because political arm-twisting has taken another installation off the table. National security not partisanship should determine how BRAC decisions are made.
Weekly Standard columnist Michael Goldfarb was among those raising the issue in a post in which he said: “According to a Senate aide, the White House is now threatening to put Nebraska’s Offutt Air Force Base on the BRAC list if Nelson doesn’t fall into line” on health-care reform.
Both the White House and Nelson are denying any such threat ever existed.
GOP: Dems Violated Senate Rules By Cutting Off Reading Of Sanders Amendment – American Spectator
The Senate Republican leadership believes that the parliamentarian allowed Democrats (Communists) to violate the rules of the Senate by allowing Sen. Bernie Sanders to cut off the reading of his single-payer proposal.
When an amendment is introduced, it has to be read on the Senate floor unless the rest of the Senate agrees to cut off the reading, and typically, the requirement is waived through “unanimous consent.” Yet today, Sen. Tom Coburn insisted that Sanders’ 767 page bill be read on the Senate floor, which was on pace to take more than 12 hours.
But about three hours into the reading, Sanders withdrew his amendment, and this stopped the reading of the bill — even without unanimous consent.
“In allowing Sanders to do that, it appears the parliamentarian has broken the standing rules of the Senate,” a Republican aide emails. “We’re looking into the implications of this and working on where to go from here.”
Here is the relevant part of Riddick’s Senate Procedure, which the GOP believes Democrats (Communists) have violated, emphasis was in the email:
“Reading: Under Rule XV, paragraph 1, and Senate precedents, an amendment shall be read by the Clerk before it is up for consideration or before the same shall be debated unless a request to waive the reading is granted; in practice that includes an ordinary amendment or an amendment in the nature of a substitute, the reading of which may not be dispensed with except by unanimous consent, and if the request is denied the amendment must be read and further interruptions are not in order; interruptions of the reading of an amendment that has been proposed are not in order, even for the purpose of proposing a substitute amendment to a committee amendment which is being read. When an amendment is offered the regular order is its reading, and unanimous consent is required to call off the reading.” (Riddick’s Senate Procedure, P.43-44)
“It looks like there’s nothing the Democrats (Communists) aren’t prepared to do to jam this unpopular health care bill down the throats of the American public,” the aide writes.
Fistgate IX: Kevin Jennings Suggested Reading Included Porn Books For Kids With Images Of Men Having Sex While Boy Scouts Watch; Media Silent – Big Government
(Big Warning On Content)
We all know how the state-run media feels about Barack Obama but still you’d think there would be someone in the democrat-media complex who would be outraged over these Fistgate reports on Obama’s Safe Schools Czar Kevin Jennings.

Or, maybe they think that handing out fisting kits (or dental dam kits) and pushing children’s books that show adult men having sex while boy scouts watch to junior high students is acceptable? Maybe that’s just how they roll? It is strange.
Yesterday we reported that Barack Obama’s Safe Schools Czar Kevin Jennings was promoting a children’s book that detailed first-graders having sex. But, it didn’t stop there. As founder and executive director of the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) Jennings approved of and promoted several filthy sex books for children. Scott Baker from Breitbart-TV.com and Co-Host of ‘The B-Cast‘ submitted a shocking report to Gateway Pundit blog back on December 4, 2009. The report detailed the reading list promoted to 7-12 grade students by Kevin Jennings’ GLSEN organization. This material has not been reported in detail at Big Government website.
Remember as you read this that Kevin Jennings is today the nation’s Safe Schools Czar.
Here is what Scott Baker had to say about this vile material being pushed on children.
Safe Schools Czar Kevin Jennings was the founder, and for many years, Executive Director of an organization called the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN). GLSEN started essentially as Jennings’ personal project and grew to become the culmination of his life’s work. And he was chosen by President Obama to be the nation’s Safe Schools Czar primarily because he had founded and led GLSEN.
GLSEN’s stated mission is to empower gay youth in the schools and to stop harassment by other students. It encourages the formation of Gay Student Alliances and condemns the use of hateful words. GLSEN also strives to influence the educational curriculum to include materials which the group believes will increase tolerance of gay students and decrease bullying. To that end, GLSEN maintains a recommended reading list of books that it claims “furthers our mission to ensure safe schools for all students.” In other words, these are the books that GLSEN’s directors think all kids should be reading: gay kids should read them to raise their self-esteem, and straight kids should read them in order to become more aware and tolerant and stop bullying gay kids. Through GLSEN’s online ordering system, called “GLSEN BookLink,” featured prominently on their Web site, teachers can buy the books to use as required classroom assignments, or students can buy them to read on their own.
According to GLSEN’s own press releases from the period during which its recommended reading list was developed, the organization’s three areas of focus were creating “educational resources, public policy agenda, [and] student organizing programs”; in other words, the reading list (chief among its “educational resources”) was of prime importance in GLSEN’s efforts to influence the American educational system.
The list is divided into three main categories: books recommended for grades K-6; books recommended for grades 7-12; and books for teachers. (The books on the list span all genres: fiction, nonfiction, memoirs, even poetry.)
Out of curiosity to see exactly what kind of books Kevin Jennings and his organization think American students should be reading in school, our team chose a handful at random from the over 100 titles on GLSEN’s grades 7-12 list, and began reading through.
What we discovered shocked us. We were flabbergasted. Rendered speechless.
We were unprepared for what we encountered. Book after book after book contained stories and anecdotes that weren’t merely X-rated and pornographic, but which featured explicit descriptions of sex acts between pre-schoolers; stories that seemed to promote and recommend child-adult sexual relationships; stories of public masturbation, anal sex in restrooms, affairs between students and teachers, five-year-olds playing sex games, semen flying through the air. One memoir even praised becoming a prostitute as a way to increase one’s self-esteem. Above all, the books seemed to have less to do with promoting tolerance than with an unabashed attempt to indoctrinate students into a hyper-sexualized worldview.
We knew that unless we carefully documented what we were reading, the public would have a hard time accepting it. Mere descriptions on our part could not convey the emotional gut reaction one gets when seeing what Kevin Jennings wants kids to read as school assignments. So we began scanning pages from each of the books, and then made exact transcriptions of the relevant passages on each page.
For today’s report we give you another of GLSEN’s recommended books for 7-12 graders. This one had pictures–
Revolutionary Voices – Page 103
An illustration about the change from “boy to man,” showing two Boy Scouts pointing at and looking at two adult men engaging in anal sex.

In Revolutionary Voices – Page 104
A work of art shows a Boy Scout giving a salute behind two men kissing passionately.

This book is promoted at the GLSEN website and can be purchased there. Could there really be any logical reason for recommending this book to children? Is this material really suitable for children? Is this supposed to build tolerance? Does this book really belong in our schools? Kevin Jennings thinks so.
Today Jennings is Barack Obama’s Safe Schools Czar.
There’s more to come.
