Is it too early to run Smitty/Wysocki in 2012?

That is Smitty as in Smitty of The Other McCain and Wysocki, as in Wyblog’s Chris. Smitty offers his vision for hope and change.

Anyone who thinks that the founding principles of the country, even the first article of the Constitution, have not been corrupted by this Judas Congress and atrocious Administration really needs to re-examine every scrap of the last two years of American political history.

So the question moves to what degree the otherwise congenial and collaborative conservatives should engage and support ObamaCare? I submit that we should be more receptive to Al Gore’s AGW hooey than Al Sharpton’s Socialist surprise. ObamaCare must be opposed, not just because it is legislative compost, but also because the kick in the groin delivered by the Judas Congress cannot be let stand.

Which brings us to Delaware. For a small state, she’s got a big RINO in the form of Mike Castle running for the Senate. Via Mark Levin Fan, Delaware Online reports:

Castle won’t join GOP effort to repeal health law. Rescinding legislation is ‘unrealistic’ goal.

Well, Representative Castle, the Revolution itself wasn’t terribly realistic either. Had we a bunch of Stupakian thinkers like yourself at the time, our currency would still be pounds sterling. My personal, unrealistic opinion is that we should have an Article V cramdown, with 35 States and blow away:

  • ObamaCare,
  • The Great Society,
  • The New Deal,
  • The Federal Reserve Act, and
  • The 16th and 17th Amendments

. . . which is why I have not been left in charge.

I could not agree more, and check out Chris’s platform for fundamental change

Eradicating the evils of socialism won’t be enough though. We have to ensconce our conservative principles into the Constitution. The cruft we excise should be replaced with

* English is the official language of the United States. If you want to press 2 for Spanish, move to Mexico.

* No more anchor babies. Only the children of U.S. Citizens are automatically granted citizenship. Children born here to legal permanent resident aliens may petition for U.S. Citizenship at the age of 18. Any other children born here are and ought to forever be citizens of whatever third world hellhole their parents came from.

* Abolish Cabinet departments which usurp the authority rightly reserved to the Several States. Out goes Agriculture, HHS, HUD, Labor, Education, EPA, and Interior.

* Restore the pre-FDR definition of “interstate commerce” as intended by the Founders.

* Marriage is between one man and one woman.

* Recognize the Right to Life, and that it cannot be denied without Due Process, beginning at the moment of conception.

* Capital Punishment is not “cruel and unusual”. It is swift, and just.

Well, save for the marriage amendment, I concur completely. The marriage issue, in my view, ought to be state to state, and not a federal issue. but otherwise? Hell Smitty/Wysocki in 2012! Here is a possible campaign slogan for them, A free America, and an America free of RINO’s.
