Some folks are just not welcome here
I noted today that I have gotten a few hits from the pinheads at Stormfront. Well, I would say that if you are a member of the bunch of filth you likely are not the kind of person I want here. See, this is a Conservative/Libertarian blog. Ed and I could give a crap less about anyone’s race, or religion, and racists, are, frankly, despicable to me. This blog is about ideals, not race. We agree or disagree with people over ideals and principles,. not over race. So, if you in “StormFront” then take a hike!

South Korea Freezes Trade With North Over Warship Sinking – BBC News
South Korea has suspended trade with the North and demanded an apology, after a report blamed Pyongyang for sinking a Southern warship.
President Lee Myung-bak said those who carried out the attack, which killed 46 sailors, must be punished. North Korea’s main newspaper called the investigation an “intolerable, grave provocation”.
The White House endorsed the South’s move, and pledged its co-operation “to deter future aggression”. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has urged China to co-operate with the US on North Korea. Mrs Clinton told a US-China summit in Beijing that Pyongyang must be held to account for the attack on the Cheonan.
“We ask North Korea to stop its provocative behaviour… and comply with international law,” she added.
China is North Korea’s closest trading partner and has in the past been reluctant to take tough measures against the communist state.
The North depends on South Korea and China for up to 80% of its external trade and 35% of its GDP. In 2009, inter-Korean trade stood at $1.68bn (£1.11bn) – 13% of the North’s GDP.
In a strongly worded televised address, Mr Lee said that the South was forgetting that it shared a border “with one of the most war-mongering nations on Earth”.
“From now on, the Republic of Korea will not tolerate any provocative act by the North and will maintain a principle of proactive deterrence,” the president said.
“If our territorial waters, airspace or territory are militarily violated, we will immediately exercise our right of self-defence.
“Under these circumstances, any inter-Korean trade or other co-operative activity is meaningless,: Mr Lee said, adding that North Korean ships would no longer be allowed to use South Korean water.
And he added: “I solemnly urge North Korean authorities to do the following: Apologise immediately to the Republic of Korea and the international community. Immediately punish those who are responsible for and those who are involved in the incident.”
Mr Lee added that South Korea would refer the North to the UN Security Council in response to the sinking of the Cheonan.
But South Korean Unification Minister Hyun In-taek said Seoul would still maintain the joint economic project in Kaesong, even though it would “respond with resolute measures” to possible attempts by the North to undermine the safety of its workers.

India Plane With 166 On Board Crashes, 8 Survive – Yahoo News
Eight people escaped the crash of an Indian jetliner with 166 people on board that overshot a hilltop runway in southern India and plunged over a cliff, officials said. At least some of the survivors managed to jump from the wreckage just before it burst into flames.
Firefighters struggled to reach the twisted, smoking wreckage of the Boeing 737-800, which was scattered along the hillside of thick grass and trees just outside Mangalore’s Bajpe airport.
But after the first few minutes, there were no more survivors to be found around what remained of the Air India Express flight from Dubai to this port city. Instead, scores of burned bodies were pulled from the blackened tangle of aircraft cables, twisted metal, charred trees and mud at the crash site. Many of the dead were strapped into their seats, their bodies burned beyond recognition.
Air India, the country’s national carrier, runs inexpensive flights under the Air India Express banner to Dubai and other Middle Eastern destinations where millions of Indians are employed.
Relatives of the victims, who had been waiting at the airport for the plane’s arrival, stood near the wreckage weeping.
Ummer Farook Mohammed, a survivor burned on his face and hands, said it felt like a tire burst after the plane landed. “There was a loud bang, and the plane caught fire,” he said.
“The plane shook with vibrations and split into two,” G.K. Pradeep, another survivor, told CNN-IBN television. He jumped out of the aircraft with four others into a pit, he said. Moments later, a large explosion set off a blaze that consumed the wreckage, he said. It was not immediately clear if all the survivors escaped in the same way.
Firefighters sprayed water and foam on the plane as others struggled to find survivors. An Associated Press photo showed two rescuers running up a hill carrying a young girl covered in foam to waiting medics. Though no details were available, the girl was believed to have died, because officials said the only female survivor was an adult.
The plane was carrying 160 passengers – all Indian – and six crew members, Air India official Anup Srivastava said. Four infants and 19 other children were among the passengers. The British pilot, who was of Serbian origin, and an Indian co-pilot were among the dead, officials said.
Employees of JAT Airways, the Serbian national carrier, identified the captain as Zlatko Glusica, 55, a Serb with a British passport who had been flying for Air India for the past three years. He had previously flown for JAT, but like many pilots had left the airline in recent years as it plunged into deep financial troubles.

Police Knew Times Square Bomb Accomplice Was Illegal Alien – Judicial Watch
In an alarming example of how sanctuary cities can protect terrorists, a Pakistani man arrested for the Time Square bombing admitted on a city license application that he entered the U.S. illegally and authorities took no action.
That’s because he applied for the cabbie license in a state that openly protects illegals from deportation. Law enforcement agencies throughout Massachusetts have don’t-ask-don’t-tell policies regarding illegal aliens.

Question of the Day- Should some people be beaten with bamboo poles?
Before you answer, read this from Weasel Zippers.
CONCORD, N.H. – Four people have been charged with tattooing a 14-year-old special needs student on his backside, against his will, Concord police said.
The boy, whose name was not released, told police the four told him he wouldn’t be picked on at Concord High School if he submitted to it. An image, with two obscene words was tattooed on him May 10, police said.
The victim was targeted because he’s intellectually challenged, prosecutor Scott Murray said.
“You put yourself in this kid’s position, your heart has to go out to him,” said Sgt. John Thomas, who said the boy has been picked on so much that he would do anything to stop it. “It’s gotten so bad that you have to subject your body to being scarred for life, just to be accepted by your peers.”
Blake VanNest, 18, is charged with assault, endangering the welfare of a minor, tattooing without a license, indecent exposure and criminal threatening. Donald Wyman, 20, is charged with criminal liability for the conduct of another and conspiracy to endanger the welfare of a minor.
Two others — Ryan Fisk, 19 and Travis Johnston, 18, — are also charged.
. . .
The boy told police that despite his protests VanNest said he would get a tattoo whether he liked it or not, police said. The boy said he eventually agreed because VanNest told him he would no longer be picked on at school. The boy told police that when he arrived at the home to get the tattoo he said again that he didn’t want one, but VanNest threatened him.
Wyman drew the tattoo on the boy, and Fisk and VanNest did the tattooing, prosecutors said.
The next day, the boy said students in the school were passing around pictures of the tattoo. A teacher overheard a conversation about it called police.
Now, are you ready to grab a bamboo pole? It is a tough question I guess. WE do not want toi be vigilantes, but if this were my son, or nephew, it would be very hard to not want to have a “chat” with all these little bastards.
To those who say violence is never the solution…..
I say that is complete nonsense. Violence is neither good nor bad. It is the manner in which the violence is used which defines its worth. If a man breaks into a woman’s home to rape her, then that is an evil act, if the woman’s brother, or husband beats that rapist to death with a baseball bat as he is attacking the woman? That is a good act. An act that deserves praise and applause frankly, and possibly a medal as well.
I cannot, for the life of me, grasp why it is that some people have such a hard time distinguishing between good and bad acts of violence. Perhaps it is an addiction to some idealistic value system, that foolishly believes that if good people are forbidden the use of force in self-defense that bad men will automatically drop their evil ways. Perhaps it is that such people are so against the existence of God, that they cannot accept the existence of evil either.
Whatever the cause of their beliefs, I wonder if they ever consider that by toeing their “non-violent, pacifist” ideological line, they are, by their actions, aiding evil doers. Take the fools that were so against the Vietnam War. They claimed to be above things like violence and war. Yet, their “solution” to Vietnam, one that tragically took place eventually, was to condemn freedom loving Vietnamese and Cambodians, to horrific suffering at the hands of evil, brutal and yes violent monsters that slaughtered hundreds of thousands.
If you ever wonder why I use the term “morally retarded” understand that I use it for the people who are delusional enough to believe in peace at any price. I also use it for the fools who say nothing when Palestinian swine launch thousands of rockets, aimed at Israeli citizens every year, yet become outraged when Israel defends itself against such barbarities. What else would you call these people but morally retarded?
Some have questioned my celebrating, on this blog, when our military, or the military of our allies kill Jihadists, terrorists, etc. To them I ask what kind if person would not be glad when violent murderers, who torture innocents, target women, and children, and seek to enslave the planet, are killed by just men? What is your solution I ask them? What else do you do with such swine? Do you actually think we, as civilized people, can reason with such Satanic creatures? You claim to desire peace, but honestly, do you believe we can ever have peace with these bastards? The best the very best you can hope for is submission to them. And then, you will have no peace. You will be but a slave, dependent on the “mercies” of these vermin for every moment of your life.
Understand this, there is no peace with tyrants, not with Nazis, or Stalinists, or terrorists. You have only two options. Fight and defeat them, or subject yourself to their control.
Now, I am not saying we should seek violence, I am saying we must, both as a nation and as individuals, understand that evil is real. And, therefore, we must also understand that being prepared and willing to defend our nation, our homes, our families, is not only a necessity, not only our right, it is, our duty.
I love when Republicans stand up and show some spine
