College Football about to begin

6 Aug

Can my Gators get back on top? Wil the Tide rise again? Can the Buckeyes get it done? Will TCU or Boise bust the BCS?

    Clemson Tigers all the way. Kyle Parker gave up his shot at professional baseball with the Colorado Rockies to continue his college football career. He’s the only athlete in NCAA history to hit at least 20 home runs and throw for 20 touchdowns in the same season. And we do have a recent history of beating Florida teams…Go Tigers!

      The Badgers WILL supplant the Buckeyes as Big Ten champs!

    @Gatordoug,

    I’ll repeat the question I asked in a post last year following the BCS National Championship Game, “Oh Gator, Where Is Thy Chomp?”

    I love the smell of gator hide in the morning.

    The BCS is a bunch of bull puckey. What we need is a playoff system. Besides being a fan of the Clemson Tigers, I also follow the Boise Broncos. With a playoff, the Broncos possibly could have been the national champs last year. They are a “Non-BCS” school, what the sports media calls “BCS Busters”. BCS buster schools are 4-2 in BCS games. In 2008, the Utes of Utah beat the Crimson Tide of Alabama 31-17 and in 2009, the Broncos of Boise beat the Horned Frogs of TCU 17-10 in a match up between to Non BCS schools, the first time two non BCS teams met each other in a game and also the first time two undefeated teams played in a game other than the championship game.

    Something to think about
