How exactly am I being served by Smitty’s being in Afghanistan? Are you suggesting that somehow he is defending liberty and freedom in America by being involved in a war with people that not only did not attack the US but haven’t the capacity to any significant damage if they did attack the US.
Don’t get me wrong. I hope the guy is ok and that he and the rest of our troops come home alive and well but perpetuating the myth that freedom and liberty are secured in America by war in other countries is just stupid. Have you not noticed what sort of fascist police state the US has become?
