It is a list of ten dire predictions from climate change alarmists, or should In say propagandists, that never came true. It is a tried and true strategy for those seeking to warn us of environmental disasters to make things up, lie, exaggerate, embellish, and fabricate. They excuse their vile tactics by saying they must raise awareness, and that even though they are not being entirely truthful, there really IS a catastrophe coming. My question has always been this, why do you have to lie? If science really is settled, there ought to be no need to make things up. Here are so0me highlights from the list, but go read them all, and point out some of these to remind your friends who may be members of the Cult of Catastrophic Climte Change, and yes, I came up with that one, now watch some talking head use it and get all the credit!
10. The Silly Stuff- Those Global Warming Moonbats figure out ways to blame the dumbest things on global warming. I call it the official crazy list of things Moonbats say global warming causes. The list contains, Incredible shrinking sheep, Invasion of jellyfish in the Mediterranean, Surge in fatal shark attack, Boy Scout tornado deaths, Severe acne, Global conflict, Beer tasting different, Suicide of farmers in Australia, Bigger tuna fish,Longer days, Shorter days, Collapse of gingerbread houses in Sweden, Cow infertility, UFO sightings in the UK, Rise in insurance premiums, and Heroin addiction and a rise in bear attacks in Japan and Frigid Cold Winters in Great Britain, and Cancer, Death from heart disease, diabetes, stroke, respiratory disease and even accidents, homicide, suicide,water -borne disease outbreaks,heavier, wetter snowstorms treacherous for travel and ambulation, Lyme disease, swarms of allergy-inducing, stinging insects, along with mosquitoes and devastating pine bark beetle infestations and the spread of forest and crop pests just to name a few.

In 2008 Dr. David Barber of Manitoba University said “We’re actually projecting this year that the North Pole may be free of ice for the first time,” (ignoring the many earlier times the Pole has been ice free).

I think that we are in the grip of the biggest and most insane hoax in history, and unless the public get wise to it soon, we will all be parted from what wealth we have.
Lets take a simple economic view of what is likely to happen.
In the absence of sufficient alternative solutions/technologies, the only way western countries can ever attain the IPCC demands of CO2 emissions reduced to 40% below 1990 levels, (thats about 60% below todays) is to machine restrictions on the use of fossil fuels. Emission Trading schemes are an example.
As the use of fossil fuels is roughly linear with anthropogenic CO2 emissions, to attain a 60% reduction of emissions , means about the same proportion of reduction of fossil fuel usage, including petrol, diesel, heating oil, not to mention coal and other types including propane etc.
No matter how a restriction on the use of these is implemented, even a 10% decrease will make the price of petrol go sky high. In otherwords, (and petrol is just one example) we can expect, if the IPCC has its way, a price rise on petrol of greater than 500%.
First of all, for all normal people, this will make the family car impossible to use. Worse than that though, the transport industry will also have to deal with this as well and they will need to pass the cost on to the consumer. Simple things like food will get prohibitively expensive. Manufacturers who need fossil energy to produce will either pass the cost on to the consumer or go out of business. If you live further than walking distance from work, you will be in trouble.
All this leads to an economic crash of terrible proportions as unemployment rises and poverty spreads.
I believe that this will be the effect of bowing to the IPCC and the AGW lobby. AND as AGW is a hoax it will be all in vain. The world will continue to do what it has always done while normal people starve and others at the top (including energy/oil companies and emission traders) will enjoy the high prices.
Neither this scenario nor any analysis of the cost of CO2 emission reductions is included in IPCC literature, and the Stern report which claims economic expansion is simply not obeying economic logic as it is known in todays academic world.
The fact that the emission reduction cost issue is not discussed, leads me to believe that there is a deliberate cover up of this issue. Fairly obviously the possibility of starvation will hardly appeal to the masses.
AGW is baloney anyway!

You focus on predictions 35 years or so old?
Our knowledge doubles every 3 or better years just because of the amount of research we do on various things.
Let’s say there have been 10 doublings in the last 35 years for the amount we know. So we know 1024 times more than we did then.
Non of that stuff is worth anything for the most part and you call this stuff up as something we should pay attention too? You are really are ignorant and the stuff you right is trash.
The “predictions” are of varying ages, some are far more recent. The point is they were totally wrong, and today, we have people seeking to make drastic decisions, based on predictions.
