Ron Paul? Good Freaking Grief!
On Sunday’s broadcast of NPR’s “All Things Considered,” 2008 Republican presidential candidate Rep. Ron Paul, a libertarian favorite, addressed his 2012 prospects. He told NPR’s Guy Raz that a presidential run is still a possibility.
“Well, it’s possible and I haven’t ruled it out, so I’ll probably be deciding at the beginning of the year,” Paul said. “And people ask me if I think about it a lot and I do because a lot of people ask me about it.”
Well what would the circus of a presidential race be without a few clowns?

Harry Potter star was beaten, called a ”slag” and threatened with death after she met a young man who was not a Muslim, a court heard today.
Victim Afshan Azad, 22, played Padma Patil, a classmate of the teenage wizard, in the blockbuster Hollywood films based on the children’s books by JK Rowling.
She was assaulted and branded a ”prostitute” after meeting a young Hindu man, a relationship which brought anger from her father, Abul Azad, 53, and brother, Ashraf, 28, Manchester Crown Court heard.
The frightened actress later fled through her bedroom window after threats were made to kill her.
As Douglas points out, this was not the first time such an event happened to this young lady either. I know there are many good Muslims, they ought toput a stop to such barbarism.

The death of a soldier who has given his or her life to protect our freedoms is always a sad event. Having to put one of our best and brightest to rest is made still more difficult by the fiendish antics of Fred Phelps and his band of evil bastards from the Westboro Baptist Church. This bunch has made it their mission to disrupt and make more painful as many military funerals as they possibly can.
They carry signs claiming our fallen heroes are guilty of promoting homosexuality and that “God hates fags.” Watching these low-lifes begs the questions: Who are they and who is their leader?
The answers are never clear because of a systematic media cover up. The Democrat controlled media would love to write about Phelps and his gang being “Right Wing fanatics”, but of course it can’t because the truth is 180 degrees to the opposite.

Fred Phelps is a long time Democrat supporter and frequent Democrat candidate for various offices in Kansas. As recently as 1998 Phelps got 15% in a Democrat primary for governor. He has been a devoted supporter of Al Gore and led his church members in working for Gore in 1988. Phelps’ son Fred hosted a fund raiser for Gore in his home. Have you ever heard of that? Why do you think these things are left out of news reports about Phelps?
Fred Phelps is a disbarred attorney who made a living suing institutions. His disbarment followed his disgraceful conduct during a trial alleging a court reporter intentional failed to provide Phelps with a transcript on time. He had the woman on the stand for a full week reducing her to tears with his demands for details about her sex life. Ultimately Phelps himself was convicted of perjury and stripped of his law license.

In 2003 Phelps wrote a letter to Saddam Hussein praising him because Iraq was, “the only Muslim state that allows the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to be freely and openly preached on the streets.”
Knowing what we have learned about how the media has sold its collective soul to support socialist Democrats is there any wonder these facts, that took just a few minutes to find, are left out of reports on Phelps and his evil bunch?

Idiot Jailed After Burglarizing House And Car, Then Calling Police For A Ride – KATU
West Linn Police arrested a woman earlier this week after called police to ask for a ride. That in itself is not a crime, but police quickly found out when they contacted her that she had just burglarized a home and a car.
Zannish Schmeka Frazier, 28, called the West Linn Police at 7:04 p.m. on Dec. 15 and told them she was cold, wet, scared and stranded at Sunset Park. She asked for a ride to the closest transit center so she could take the bus to her mother’s home.
Sergeants Mike Boyd and Neil Hennelly responded and contacted Frazier. When they arrived, the two police officers noticed she had several duffel bags with her. Frazier told police she had a fight with her boyfriend and got kicked out. After running Frazier’s background information, they learned she had a warrant for her arrest and put her in the Clackamas County Jail for a probation violation warrant on a third-degree theft.
Due to jail policies, prisoners are not allowed to bring much property to the jail; excess property is held by the arresting agency for safekeeping. Due to the size of the bags, both Sergeants had some of them in their patrol vehicles.
The case wasn’t closed, though. At 8:32 p.m. Dec. 16, the West Linn Police received a call from a woman saying that her home in the 2200 block of Charman Street had been broken into while she was gone. After checking through the residence, police asked for specific descriptions of any types of bags that may have been taken during the burglary that could have been used to haul away property.
The victim was able to describe a specific duffel bag that was missing from her home. The bag matched one that police had removed from Frazier. The victim positively identified the bag as the one that was stolen.
Police later found a car had been reportedly broken into in the 4400 block of Grant Street — roughly 200 feet from the scene of the burglary — just before 6 p.m. Police checked the stolen property list from the car prowl and it listed a very specific black duffle bag that police had just brought into the West Linn Police Department after it was removed from Frazier.
In addition to the probation violation warrant, Frazier was charged with the crimes of first-degree burglary, unlawful entry into a motor vehicle and second-degree theft.
Items taken from the homeowner included laptop computers, jewelry, and women’s clothes. The items taken from the car prowl included a large duffel bag, GPS units, and a small note with a measurement on it. All of those items were recovered.
“This case was brought to a rapid conclusion thanks to a lucky circumstance, and good police work,” said west Linn Police Chief Terry Timeus. “It was helped by both victims giving very detailed descriptions of the items they were missing.”

Thousands Try To Storm Government Building In Belarus – Yahoo News
Thousands of opposition supporters in Belarus tried to storm the main government building to protest what they claim was large-scale vote-rigging in Sunday’s presidential election, but they were driven back and beaten by riot police.
Dozens of protesters were injured in clashes with the police, left bruised and bloody after being beaten with clubs. An Associated Press reporter at the scene also was struck on the head, back and arm.
Up to 40,000 opposition activists rallied in central Minsk to call for longtime authoritarian leader Alexander Lukashenko to step down. It was the largest opposition rally since mass street protests against Lukashenko in 1996, but it was over within hours. By late Sunday, police had cleared Independence Square of all demonstrators.
Protesters broke windows and glass doors of the government building, which also houses the Central Election Commission, but they were repelled by riot police waiting inside. Hundreds more riot police and Interior Ministry troops then arrived in trucks and sent most of the demonstrators fleeing. Some tried to hide in the courtyards of nearby apartment buildings, but were bludgeoned by troops waiting inside the courtyards.
Few had expected tens of thousands to join the election-night protest, which Lukashenko had made clear would be dispersed by force. The question remained of whether the opposition had the momentum to maintain pressure on Lukashenko or whether Sunday’s violence would effectively put an end to the opposition’s hopes.
“We had a peaceful protest and it is the authorities who used force,” said Marat Titovets, a 40-year-old engineeer. “After Lukashenko spilled blood, he cannot remain in power.”
Leading opposition candidate Vladimir Neklyayev was beaten by riot police while leading a few hundred of his supporters to the demonstration and was taken by ambulance to a hospital, according to his wife. His left eye was bruised, his nose was bleeding and he was nauseous and unable to speak, Olga Neklyayeva told the Associated Press.
Another opposition candidate, Vitaly Rymashevsky, was beaten in clashes with riot police by the government building. He claimed that the people who attempted to storm the building were police acting as demonstrators and that he was attacked when he tried to stop them.
After the polls closed, thousands of opposition activists converged as planned on October Square, but most of the square had been flooded to make an ice skating rink and pop music boomed from loudspeakers.
The protesters then set off along the main avenue toward Independence Square, where the main government building is located.
The demonstrators shouted “leave” to Lukashenko, who has led Belarus since 1994 in a heavy-handed regime that is often characterized as the last dictatorship in Europe.
“Belarusians have shown that they want freedom and cannot tolerate the current regime,” opposition leader Yaroslav Romanchuk said.
Russia and the European Union are closely monitoring the election, having offered major economic inducements to tilt Belarus in their direction.
Signs that Lukashenko is leaning toward the West would be a moral victory for countries that have long criticized his harsh rule and worried about his connections with vehemently anti-West regimes. For Russia, a return to the fold would bolster Moscow’s desire to remain the power-broker in former Soviet regions.
