    • Why, because the underdog beat the “perfect” team? Most people would probably agree with you, but I’m not most people. While Super Bowl XLII was, indeed, a very good and ultimately exciting Super Bowl, it wasn’t THAT good. Given the choice between seeing the better team win in dramatic fashion or the lesser team do so, I’ll take the former of the two options… unless the better team is the Dallas Cowboys, of course.

  1. #3. I’m a Panther fan (Sucks this year) and April of that year, My wife and I took a trip to vegas, I stopped at sports book and checked the odds. 72-1 that Carolina would win it all. I put 100 bucks down (50 at two different books) on Carolina… I was sitting at home holding 2 tickets in my hand worth a hell of a lot money and when the kicker kicked off and sent it out of bounds, I damn near broke my tv.

  2. A “good” Super Bowl does not need to be a close game, but could be a memorable performance.. The 4 Montana ones are all epic as is the Steve Young one.
