Please note I wrote radical Atheists, and for good reason. Most Atheists are not offended by other people’s faith. The “radical” Atheist however, they are not content with living as they choose and allowing others to do the same. While they claim that Christians, (and isn’t it a bit odd that it is usually Christianity, Christmas, or a public display of the Ten Commandments that the radical Atheist gets so fired up over?) are trying to force their religion down the Atheists throats, it is usually the radical Atheist trying to foist THEIR beliefs down everyone’s throats. Once again, those that scream “tolerance, tolerance” the loudest, are, in fact so very intolerant themselves.
Anyway, I came across a piece at Western Hero just now concerning NBC’s complete slap in the face of American history, and America’s founding principles. And, rest assured there is no greater founding principle than that our rights come not from government, but from God. Reading the post, which is excellent, I was reminded of my firm belief that nothing pisses off a radical Atheist more than this truth. The right of the Atheist to openly NOT believe in God is a blessing from that same God the radical Atheist loathes. No wonder they are always so pissy and bitter. No wonder they will not stop until all the “Ants” have marched in place of the Saints!
Oh, and do not think street signs or names are safe either!
(Fox News Radio) — A group of New York City atheists is demanding that the city remove a street sign honoring seven firefighters killed in the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks because they said the sign violates the separation of church and state.
The street, “Seven in Heaven Way,” was officially dedicated last weekend in Brooklyn outside the firehouse where the firefighters once served. The ceremony was attended by dozens of firefighters, city leaders and widows of the fallen men.
“There should be no signage or displays of religious nature in the public domain,” said Ken Bronstein, president of New York City Atheists. “It’s really insulting to us.”
Bronstein told Fox News Radio that his organization was especially concerned with the use of the word “heaven.”

Actually our rights come from the Constitution, which doesn’t mention any god or gods at all.

Justice Story’s understanding reflects the thinking of the framers of the Constitution, who expressed unbridled faith in God in the Declaration of Independence:
“When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitles them . . .
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights . . .
“And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, We mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor.” (emphases mine.)
Such an understanding of the foundation of the American law was still reflected in the decisions of the United States Supreme Court just over one hundred years ago. Justice Josiah Brewer wrote on February 29, 1892, “Our laws and our institutions must necessarily be based upon and embody the teachings of the Redeemer of mankind. It is impossible that it should be otherwise; and in this sense and to this extent our civilization and our institutions are emphatically Christian.” [Church of the Holy Trinity v. United States, 143 U.S. 457-458, 465-471, 36 L ed 226. (1892).]
whos god, a god of nature, natures god, prove your god is real, it is a well known fact that Most of the same men that wrote the declaration of independance were not believers in your god or any and stated there should be no connection between politics and the church….. the same as there should be no connection between the pedifiles in the clergy and the many children who have been sodimised by the same sickos preaching your religion……oh what was that the devil made them do it, now whos doing the rigt and wrong, your god is as sick as you are
