Rick Perry said something that made perfect sense, and the Left, of course, tried to make it into a “CONTROVERSY”.
Here is the clip
But, the Texas Governor did not blink, or back down one step!
Twelve hours removed from a controversy about his suggestion that Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke was engaging in “treasonous” behavior Texas Gov. Rick Perry’s presidential campaign didn’t try to walk back the remark. In fact, they doubled down on it.
“I am passionate about the issue but I stand by what I said,” Perry told reporters in Iowa today.
Although Perry’s campaign is only a few days old, the episode provides a telling insight into the Texas governor: he is brash, bold and unapologetic about being so.
The piece I linked is full of Liberal bias, and you ought to read it just to try and count every snide remark the author casts towards Perry and the GOP. I would suggest making a drinking game out of it, but, you and anyone else taking part would be passed out by the third paragraph.
By the way, here is an example of the whining reaction by the media. the same media, I remind y’all, that had no issue with democrats calling the tea Party terrorists.
NYT’s Binyamin Appelbaum:

God bless this guy! I can’t wait for 2012. Thanks for sharing!
The Constitution has one definition of treason, and one only. While I commend Perry for standing up to the Federal Reserve (which hasn’t been fully audited since 1913), Bernanke isn’t treasonous. He’s just going his part in dooming the economy. That’s a truly wretched thing to do, but according to the Constitution, that isn’t Treason. I’m really getting sick of people misusing the ONLY crime defined in the Constitution!
