Douchenozzle Trips Over His Own Pants While Running With Stolen Beer (Video)
Man Jailed After Stumbling Over Baggy Pants During Florida Beer Heist – Weekly Vice
Back in May of this year, we posted the video above which shows a beer thief stumbling over his baggy pants while attempting to make off with two cases of Bud Light.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office released surveillance camera footage of the attempted heist in hopes that someone would provide information that would lead to an arrest.
.
.
According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, a break in the case came on August 16 when a deputy spotted a black Chevy Malibu in the Lake Wales area that matched the getaway vehicle seen in the surveillance camera footage.
When detectives interviewed the vehicle’s owner, she admitted to loaning her vehicle to two men who told her they were going for a beer run.
As a result of the investigation, Miguel Ortiz (the beer thief) and Juan Luis Gutierrez (the driver) were arrested and charged with petit theft.
Man Faces 2 Years In Prison For Shooting Grizzly While Defending Family
Man Faces 2 Years In Prison For Shooting Grizzly While Defending Family – The Blaze
This is quite a story. A man charged with unlawfully shooting and killing a grizzly bear in defense of his family, garnered so many supporters at his arraignment in U.S. District Court Tuesday that the judge had to move the hearing to a larger courtroom.
Even in the larger space, however, every seat was reportedly occupied as the man’s family, friends and neighbors vied for a place to show their support.
………………………
Jeremy M. Hill, 33, pleaded not guilty to killing the grizzly with a rifle on his 20-acre property near Porthill, Idaho, at the Canadian border.
Because the Endangered Species Act classifies the grizzly as a threatened species, Hill was charged with a misdemeanor.
The trial has been set for October 4 and Hill’s lawyer, Marc Lyons, said he plans to defend Hill on the basis of self-defense and protection of family.
Jeremy Hill’s father, Mike Hill, said his son was concerned for the safety of his children who were playing outside when the mother grizzly and her two cubs happened onto his property in May.
Hill has six children ranging in age from 14 years old to 10 months old and at least five were reportedly home when the grizzly appeared and was later killed.
CDAPress adds:
The bears had gone after some pigs in a pen that the kids had been raising, Mike Hill said.
He said his son shot one of the bears, then called authorities to notify them of the kill. The other two bears ran off.
He said his son could have just buried the animal and not said anything to law enforcement. He said his son is being penalized for coming forward.
“The charges are simply unjust,” State Sen. Shawn Keough (R-Sandpoint), who attended the heargin, told the CDAPress. “Hopefully common sense will prevail. It’s clearly an issue of protecting the family.”
According to her, the community has raised nearly $20,000 for Hill’s defense.
“Clearly, we have a problem with the ESA [Endangered Species Act] when situations like this happen.” Rep. Raul Labrador (R-Idaho) added. “We’re doing everything we can to make sure this man is treated fairly.”
According to CDA, the charge of killing a threatened species can carry a two-year prison sentence, a maximum fine of $50,000, and up to one year of probation.
Gadhafi Calls On Loyalists To ‘Fight And Kill’ Rebels
Gadhafi Calls On Loyalists To ‘Fight And Kill’ Rebels – Globe And Mail
Intense battles raged Thursday between about 1,000 rebels surrounding 10 buildings filled with Moammar Gadhafi loyalists in the neighbourhood next to the Libyan leader’s captured compound. Col. Gadhafi, in a new audio message, called on Libyans to destroy the rebels.
A regime spokesman told The Associated Press Col. Gadhafi is safely in hiding and leading the battle against the rebels.

AP reporters on the scene of the battle in the Abu Salim neighbourhood said rebels were hammering at least 10 buildings sheltering Gadhafi loyalists with anti-aircraft guns. There were huge explosions, and the air was clogged with smoke. At least three of the buildings were burning.
“They are holding at least 10 tall buildings. They have heavy weaponry, maybe even a tank,” Mohammed Karami, a rebel involved in the battle, said of the Gadhafi loyalists.
Mahmoud Bakoush, a rebel commander at the site, said there were rumours that one of Col. Gadhafi’s sons might be in the buildings, but they are unconfirmed.
“Don’t leave Tripoli for the rats. Fight them, fight them, and kill them,” Col. Gadhafi said in audio message broadcast on Al-Arabiya television. “It is the time for martyrdom or victory,” he said, calling tribes outside the capital “to continue their march to Tripoli.” He said imams in mosques should call for youths to rise up “for jihad.”
He warned that the rebels will enter people’s homes and rape their women.
“They will enter your houses and deprive you of your honour,” he said. “NATO can’t remain in the air all the time.”
Col. Gadhafi’s spokesman Moussa Ibrahim, in a call to AP’s Cairo office, said the longtime dictator was in Libya and his morale was high. Col. Gadhafi “is indeed leading the battle for our freedom and independence” said Ibrahim, who was recognizable by his voice.
Mr. Ibrahim refused to say where Col. Gadhafi was hiding. Mr. Ibrahim, who had for months appeared daily in televised news conferences since the start of the rebellion six months ago, added he himself was in an undisclosed location in Libya and constantly on the move.
“All of the leader’s family are fine,” Mr. Ibrahim said, adding that top military and political aides remained with Col.Gadhafi.
He said Col. Gadhafi was capable of continuing resistance for “weeks, months and years.”
Mr. Ibrahim claimed Col. Gadhafi’s forces controlled a “good portion” of the capital – a claim that contradicts what reporters are seeing on the ground – and other cities and towns. He also accused NATO of besieging Gadhafi strongholds such as Sirte.
Thanks Barack… Weekly Initial Jobless Claims Rise 5,000
Weekly Initial Jobless Claims Rise 5,000 – Hot Air
The level of weekly initial jobless claims rose slightly this week by 5,000 to 417,000. The change pushed the 4-week average up by almost the same amount to 407,500, thanks also to an upward revision of last week’s report:
In the week ending August 20, the advance figure for seasonally adjusted initial claims was 417,000, an increase of 5,000 from the previous week’s revised figure of 412,000. The 4-week moving average was 407,500, an increase of 4,000 from the previous week’s revised average of 403,500.
The advance seasonally adjusted insured unemployment rate was 2.9 percent for the week ending August 13, a 0.1 percentage point decrease from the prior week’s revised rate of 3.0 percent.
The advance number for seasonally adjusted insured unemployment during the week ending August 13 was 3,641,000, a decrease of 80,000 from the preceding week’s revised level of 3,721,250. The 4-week moving average was 3,701,000, a decrease of 19,500 from the preceding week’s revised average of 3,720,750.
Again, this could be just statistical noise, although the upward pressure seems to be moving the range back to the 420K level seen throughout most of the second quarter of the year. We are moving in the wrong direction again the past few weeks, but not by large swings. Nevertheless, we know that Reuters never expects bad news, even when it’s merely incremental, so this report was…
New U.S. claims for unemployment benefits rose more than expected last week, lifted by striking Verizon Communications workers, a government report showed on Thursday.
Initial claims for state unemployment benefits rose 5,000 to a seasonally adjusted 417,000, the Labor Department said, but still nowhere near levels that would signal a recession.
Striking Verizon workers filed 8,500 claims for jobless benefits last week, after submitting 12,500 applications the previous week, which covered the period for the August nonfarm payrolls survey.
That suggests that the strike would have a negative affect on the payrolls count, which will be reported on Sept. 2. The strike against Verizon has ended.
Well, if Reuters knew about the strike, then why is an increase in the claims filed “more than expected”?
We are making progress in one area of unemployment-data coverage. Reuters unexpectedly didn’t include any reference at all to its 400K myth this week after I challenged them to back up their claim with actual data. We’ll see if that’s a trend or merely an anomaly in the series.
After HHS Says Children Are ‘Sexual Beings,’ Psychologists Push To Decriminalize Pedophilia
In a push that seeks to sexualize young children while condoning homosexual “experimentation” among teens, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is offering up pearls of wisdom to parents on the sexuality of children. But if that were not disturbing enough, this comes at a time when a group of psychologists are allegedly pushing for the decriminalization of pedophilia.
………………………………….
The HHS information, located on a “Questions and Answers About Sex” link on the “Quick Guide to Healthy Living” section of the government website even describes children and infants as “sexual beings.”
The site also includes information on sexual experimentation, including homosexuality.
Under the section “When Do Kids Start Becoming Curious About Sex?” the answer notes that infants and toddlers are curious about their own bodies. CNSNews adds:
“Children are human beings and therefore sexual beings,” the Q&A Web page says. “It’s hard for parents to acknowledge this, just as it’s hard for kids to think of their parents as sexually active. But even infants have curiosity about their own bodies, which is healthy and normal.”
As for masturbation and “what sort of ‘sexual’ behavior do young kids exhibit?” the page says, “Parents should only be concerned about masturbation if a child seems preoccupied with it to the exclusion of other activities. Victims of sexual abuse sometimes become preoccupied with self-stimulation.”
A link at the bottom of the Q&A page, entitled “Sexual Attraction and Orientation,” includes information on sexual experimentation, including homosexuality.
“Thinking sexually about both the same sex and the opposite sex is quite common as teens sort through their emerging sexual feelings,” the page says. “This type of imagining about people of the same or opposite sex doesn’t necessarily mean that a person fits into a particular type of sexual orientation.”
“Some teens may also experiment with sexual experiences, including those with members of the same sex, during the years they are exploring their own sexuality,” the page reads. “These experiences, by themselves, do not necessarily mean that a teen is gay or straight.”
While much of the information provided does raise questions about HHS’ motivation, Peter Sprigg, a senior fellow for policy studies at the conservative Family Research Council, pointed out HHS did clarify that abstinence is the best way to avoid pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases.
While he considers the promotion of abstinence to be a good thing, Sprigg also believes the federal government has no place weighing in on the sexuality of infants and young children:
“The idea that ‘children are human beings and therefore sexual beings’ is one of the most destructive myths of the sexual revolution,” Sprigg told CNSNews.com. “To a large extent, this myth may be traced to the ‘research’ conducted by Alfred Kinsey, including the infamous ‘Children of Table 34’ experiments, which involved the deliberate sexual abuse of children as young as 6 months old under ‘experimental’ conditions.”
“The fact that young children are aware that their bodies include genitalia hardly makes them ‘sexual beings,’ and it is improper (and potentially dangerous) to treat them as such before puberty,” he said.
Which makes the following Fox News report all the more troubling. According to Shannon Bream, a group of mental health professionals, dubbed “B4U-ACT,” are arguing that pedophiles are simply misunderstood and therefore, should not be criminalized.
A partial statement by the group reads:
“Stigmatizing and stereotyping minor-attracted people inflames the fears of minor-attracted people, mental health professionals and the public, without contributing to an understanding of minor-attracted people of the issue of child sexual abuse.”
B4U-ACT’s aim is allegedly to create “tolerance” for people who are sexually attracted to children. Are members of the psychiatric community now attempting to treat pedophilia in the same way they would alcoholism or depression? If so, this could likely increase the danger pedophiles present to children across the country.

NC Counties Tell Thousands To Leave As Hurricane Irene Looms – ABC News
Thousands were fleeing an exposed strip of coastal villages and beaches off North Carolina on Thursday as Irene approached, threatening to become the first major hurricane to hit the East Coast in seven years.
Hours after a hurricane watch was issued for much of the state’s coast, emergency officials expanded evacuation orders to include hundreds of thousands of tourists and locals in three counties. The areas include the barrier island chain known as the Outer Banks, which is expected to take the brunt of Irene’s first hit over the weekend.
The governors of North Carolina and Virginia also made emergency declarations to free up storm recovery resources, while the Navy began moving dozens of ships out to sea from ports in Irene’s path. And emergency officials all the way to New England were urging residents in low-lying areas to gather supplies and learn the way to a safe location.
.
.
The storm is expected to come ashore Saturday in North Carolina with winds of around 115 (185 kph). Forecasters predict it will then chug up the East Coast, dumping rain from Virginia to New York City before a much-weakened form trudges through New England.
As the sun rose over North Carolina’s barrier islands, tourists packed suitcases in their cars, while locals stocked up on food, water and gas. Traffic was moving briskly Thursday morning on the two-lane highway that cuts through many of the coastal communities, but many feared that would change.
“It’s going to be a mess,” said 66-year-old Buxton resident Leon Reasor as he stood inside a local bait shop. “Anyone who tells you they’re not worried is a liar.”
An evacuation order for an estimated 150,000 visitors took effect Thursday in Dare County, while its 35,000 permanent residents were told to begin leaving the next day. Tourists and locals in Hyde County were also told to move inland, as were visitors in Currituck County.
“It wouldn’t behoove anyone to stay in these circumstances,” Dare County emergency management spokeswoman Sharon Sullivan said. “Businesses are boarding up. Nobody can guarantee their safety.”
Craig Fugate, the head of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, said residents should pay attention to local broadcasters to see if an evacuation order is made. Among the most important tasks, he said, was figuring out a safe place to go before hitting the road.
“When you evacuate, you want to know where you’re going and make sure you have somewhere to go, not just get on the road with everybody else and hope you find some place,” Fugate said Thursday on CBS’s “The Early Show.”
All along the East Coast, officials were calculating what they needed to do as Irene continued its march across the Caribbean toward the U.S. The Navy ordered 64 ships to leave Norfolk and other Virginia ports, saying they can better weather the storm at sea.
New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg urged residents living in low-lying areas on Thursday to line up a place to stay on high ground ahead of possible evacuations this weekend. He said he would make a decision by late Friday on whether to evacuate neighborhoods along the water in several boroughs.
Even without hurricane-force winds, northeastern states already drenched from a rainy August could see flooding and fallen trees from Irene.
“You want to go into a hurricane threat with dry soil, low rivers, a half moon,” New Jersey state climatologist David Robinson said.
Early Thursday, the storm was pounding the Bahamas with widespread damage reported on at least two southern islands. It was a powerful Category 3 hurricane with winds at 115 mph (185 kph). Forecasters said the winds will ramp up quickly over the next day and Irene was expected to blow into a monstrous Category 4 with winds at least 131 mph (210 mph).
While the storm’s path isn’t definite, officials are taking nothing for granted.
In Maryland, inspections of bridges looking for cracks in the support piers and other structural features found no damage, according to state transportation agency spokeswoman Teri Moss. In Virginia, with a southeastern corner that could be in Irene’s way, cities along the coast are reviewing their evacuation plans, said Laura Southard, spokeswoman for the state Department of Emergency Management.
North Carolina’s Outer Banks, which look the likeliest to get a serious hit from Irene, have a long history of hurricanes, and building codes and emergency plans reflect that. Structures in the region are designed to withstand up to 110 mph sustained winds and gusts of up to 130 mph for three minutes. Evacuation routes are meticulously planned, down to the order in which counties hit the road.
Ocracoke Island, a tiny Outer Banks community, has already ordered visitors off, but it has special challenges since it’s only accessible to the mainland by boat.
Some of the region’s most popular destinations rely on the ailing Bonner Bridge, which was built in 1963 and intended to last 30 years, to connect Hatteras Island to the northern Outer Banks. There’s no other way to reach Hatteras except by boat.
The bridge handles about 2 million cars a year and the state DOT ranks it a 2 on its safety meter, with 100 being the highest, or most safe, designation.
“We’re going to shift people and resources around to do what we need to do and keep the roads open,” said North Carolina Department of Transportation spokeswoman Nicole Meister. The 2.7-mile bridge won’t stay open if it’s deemed unsafe – which happened during Hurricane Earl last year – but the state has an emergency ferry terminal ready in that case to get people off the island, Meister said.
Farther north, precautions so far were mainly wait-and-see as officials watched for developments in the forecast.
New York City officials had begun preparations to evacuate residents from low-lying areas of the city if necessary. The city’s subway stations and tunnels would likely be flooded in places, and officials plan to shut the system down ahead of time to reduce damage to the infrastructure.
“The sense is that we’re going to be facing a strong tropical storm” with winds of 40 to 60 mph, said Office of Emergency Management Commissioner Joseph F. Bruno.
But Bruno added that the city’s agencies were preparing for a Category 1 hurricane with winds surpassing 74 mph and waters surging dangerously in low-lying areas. With five hospitals and nursing homes in the area, officials were readying to possibly evacuate the most frail and needy.
Roads and bridges in Massachusetts are likely to bear the weather in good condition, said Peter Judge, a spokesman for the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency. But the agency is planning for flooding and is keeping an eye on the 3,000 public and private dams throughout the state.
Meanwhile, a new tropical depression formed far out over the Atlantic on Thursday, with the National Hurricane Center saying it would likely become a tropical storm later in the day.

The DaleyGator supports our friend, Donald Douglas
Donald who blogs at American Power is under attack by the miscreant thugs on the Left who preach tolerance and diversity, until they find someone who dares disagrees with them. Then they set out to destroy that person’s credibility, reputation, and career. Donald has a summation here. Go offer him encouragement and support.
At Bob Belvedere’s Camp of the Saints, “Right Wing Bloggers Under Relentless Attack:
Donald’s enemies have even started a blog to harass him with [americannihilistblog.blogspot.com — I will not dignify their deplorable behavior with a ping].
That Donald is heated in his words is understandable: these people have attacked his honor and dignity and some are trying to get him fired [see here for the latest vile attempt to get him terminated from his job and here]. The man is under threat from several redoubts. Also, he realizes that what they are doing is what Leftists have done throughout history and he knows well that, if they can get away with it regarding him, they will be emboldened to increase the intensity and scope of their attacks on others of the Right. His attackers are the mongers of fear. They are the merchants of intimidation. All opposition must be silenced. Donald Douglas must be utterly destroyed.
Exactly.
Be sure to read the whole thing. I really appreciate the support.

Remember that every rule has exceptions!
I have said that all Feminists are, well, bitter and are not, shall we say, pleasing to the eyes, or the ears either. While this is true, there are exceptions, like the Ukrainian feminist group “Femen,” who staged a topless protest in front of the Saudi embassy in Kiev last month as Stacy McCain found
See, if more Feminists in America looked like that and used similar methods, we just might pay attention. Especially if they actually protested for worthwhile causes, like equality for Saudi women. Of course, as Stacy reminds us, we likely would not like the results of “Topless Feminut” protests
I hesitate to encourage American feminists to emulate their example because, unlike the Ukrainians, the women’s movement in this country does not include anyone we’d like to see naked.
Yes, sad but true.

Woman Crashes Car While Flipping Off Fellow Motorist – Weekly Vice
A 23-year-old Tacoma woman caused an accident after she reportedly crashed her vehicle while attempting to flip off another motorist.
According to Washington state troopers, the woman, whose name was not released, was attempting to change lanes on the highway when the driver of another vehicle reportedly “got in her way.” In retaliation, the woman flipped the motorist a middle finger.
………………………
It was then that the woman lost control of her vehicle. She then struck the other motorist’s vehicle before leaving the roadway, causing her vehicle to flip upside down.
Three people were taken to a local hospital and treated for minor injuries.
The suspect hasn’t been named because she has not yet been charged with a crime in the case. The case is, however under investigation.

Perry Zooms To Front Of Pack For 2012 GOP Nomination
Perry Zooms To Front Of Pack For 2012 GOP Nomination – Gallup
Shortly after announcing his official candidacy, Texas Gov. Rick Perry has emerged as rank-and-file Republicans’ current favorite for their party’s 2012 presidential nomination. Twenty-nine percent of Republicans and Republican-leaning independents nationwide say they are most likely to support Perry, with Mitt Romney next, at 17%.
……………
These results are based on an Aug. 17-21 Gallup poll, the first conducted after several important events in the Republican nomination campaign, including the second candidate debate, the Iowa Straw Poll, and Perry’s official entry into the race after months of speculation.
Romney and Perry essentially tied for the lead in late July, based on re-computed preferences that include the current field of announced candidates. Gallup’s official July report, based on the announced field at the time and thus excluding Perry, showed Romney with a 27% to 18% lead over Michele Bachmann. Romney enjoyed an even wider, 17-percentage-point lead in June over Herman Cain among the field of announced candidates (Gallup did not include Perry among the nominee choices before July).
Perry’s official announcement may have overshadowed the Aug. 13 Iowa Straw Poll, which Bachmann won narrowly over Ron Paul. Neither candidate appears to have gotten a big boost from the straw poll results; Paul’s support was up slightly from July and Bachmann’s down slightly.
Perry is a strong contender among key Republican subgroups. Older Republicans and those living in the South show especially strong support for him, at or near 40%. Conservative Republicans strongly favor Perry over Romney, but liberal and moderate Republicans support the two about equally. Perry’s support is also above average among religious Republicans.
……………
In addition to liberals and moderates, Perry is also relatively weak among young Republicans and those residing in the East. Paul continues to demonstrate stronger appeal to young Republicans, and limited appeal to those aged 50 and older.
Palin, Giuliani Also Trail Perry
While the eight announced candidates continue to campaign in key early primary and caucus states, Sarah Palin and Rudy Giuliani are two prominent Republican politicians who have indicated they are still contemplating getting into the race. Palin and Giuliani each receive about 10% of the vote when included in the nomination preference question, with Perry still holding a significant lead over Romney, 25% to 14%, on this measure.
……………
Last month, Romney and Perry essentially tied in preferences among the full list of candidates and potential candidates.
Implications
Perry’s official entry has shaken up the Republican race, making him the new leader for the party’s nomination. Gallup also finds Perry generating strong positive intensity among Republicans familiar with him, suggesting he has a strong initial base with potential to grow, given his below-average recognition.
Still, he, like Romney before him, rates as a weaker front-runner than those in prior GOP nomination contests. Perry will attempt to avoid the same fates as late-entering candidates in the last two nomination contests — Fred Thompson in the 2008 Republican field and Wesley Clark in the 2004 Democratic field. Both created a buzz surrounding their potential candidacies, and ranked among the national leaders upon entering the race. However, both fared poorly in early primaries and caucuses and soon after ended their candidacies.

Bloomberg Bans Clergy From 9/11 Ceremony But Ground Zero Mosque OK – Fox Nation
Clergy Banned From 9/11 Ceremony
Religious leaders are calling on Mayor Michael Bloomberg to reverse course and offer clergy a role in the ceremony commemorating the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center.
Rudy Washington, a deputy mayor in former Mayor Rudolph Giuliani’s administration, said he’s outraged. Mr. Washington organized an interfaith ceremony at Yankee Stadium shortly after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.
“This is America, and to have a memorial service where there’s no prayer, this appears to be insanity to me,” said Mr. Washington, who has suffered severe medical problems connected to the time he spent at Ground Zero. Read more at wsj.com.

Bloomberg Defends Ground Zero Mosque as Freedom-of-Faith Issue
In his fiercest defense yet of the mosque proposed near Ground Zero, Mayor Bloomberg declared yesterday that it must be allowed to proceed because the government “shouldn’t be in the business of picking” one religion over another.
“I think it’s fair to say if somebody was going to try, on that piece of property, to build a church or a synagogue, nobody would be yelling and screaming,” the mayor said.
“And the fact of the matter is that Muslims have a right to do it, too.” Read more at nypost.com.
