Rep. Barb Byrum was also barred from speaking Friday after violating the same rules of decorum by uttering the word “vasectomies” when asked to step away from the microphone.
While I find their speaking bans a little ridiculous, I wonder about the intent behind their words. Does Rep. Brown think anyone cares about her vagina? Does she believe the abortion debate is about controlling women? Does Rep. Byrum equate vasectomy coverage to murdering a child? Really?
I suppose it boils down to this, when you cannot defend abortion on demand with medical facts, or reason, you must go to the emotionalistic rhetoric well huh?
