Updates and links to false ad attacking Romney UPDATED! Bill Burton finds the bottom of the scumbag barrel

8 Aug

Is this the lowest political ad ever? I cannot say, but it is down there near the bottom no doubt. You can check out my podcast on this from last night This will hurt Obama in November. Donald Douglas points out that the ad is so patently false even CNN is calling it false

The Other McCain weighs in with news that the Left has added more lies to the lies already in the ad

Obama Campaign Senior Adviser Robert Gibbs: “I Certainly Don’t Know The Specifics Of This Man’s Case.”TIME’S MARK HALPERIN: “Robert we all feel bad for that man. It’s a heartfelt testimonial. Do you feel that’s an appropriate injection in this campaign of basically making the accusation that Governor Romney basically caused that woman’s death.” ROBERT GIBBS: “Look, Mark, I think as you said, this is an ad by an entity that’s not controlled by the campaign. I certainly don’t know the specifics of this man’s case” (MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” 8/8/12)

Obama Deputy Campaign Manager Stephanie Cutter: “I Don’t Know The Facts…” CNN’S JOHN BERMAN: “He’s suggesting she died because of the action that Mitt Romney took. Mitt Romney of course had left Bain years before that Bain took over this company and then his wife died years after. What’s going on? Is that accurate? Is that fair?” CUTTER: “Well John, here are the facts. I don’t know the facts about when Mr. Soptic’s wife got sick, or the facts about his health insurance, but here’s what I do know. That Mitt Romney personally handled the deal to take over GS Steel and he personally handled some of the decisions made to load that company up with debt so much that it went underwater. It went bankrupt.” (CNN, 8/8/12)

Many more examples at the link, and it should be pointed out that the man Mr. Soptic HAS indeed appeared in Obama ads previously. I suppose using his wife’s death does not bother him at all.

Also take a look at Democrats: The Party of Lies by McCain, who had trouble controlling his outrage over this.

The hardest thing about this post was the headline. My first idea was, “Godd–ned Worthless Motherf–king Democrat Party, Go to Hell,” but that seemed likely to offend the “family values” conservatives. So then I tried, “Will the Last Honest Person Leaving the Democrat Party, Please Turn Out the Lights?” but it was a couple words too long to fit.

As McCain rightly points out the Democrats who did the ad KNOW it is complete BS! Soptic knows it too, as does the White House. Once more we see hard evidence that the Left has no moral compass, no sense of what is right. One more thing, if you are a Democrat who is going to vote for Obama doesn’t this fiasco give you pause? I mean, it seems that anyone voting for THIS type of political party must feel a need to shower immediately after casting that vote.

Also, see what Bob Belvedere has on this pathetic display of despicability from Team Obama. He also notes how many people suffered from Obam’s job cuts

Now, this vile smear is so blatantly false and finding the truth about it so easy, I can only assume Priorities USA and the Obama Campaign* were aiming (1) to reach those Mushy Middle Voters who can’t be bothered to look at or read anything but headlines and (2) their own unquestioning apparatchiks on the Left. They can’t be so stupid as to think the rest of us will be swayed against Willard by an ad that, even if you aren’t aware of the truth, looks so hysterical on it’s face [if, by chance, some of the more informed were having an off-day and were not exposed to the truth and this slander ended up making them vote for Obama, then that would be gravy for Team Obama].

In her column of today, Michelle Malkin, in her own words, ‘contrasts the phony Romney-killed-a-steelworker’s-wife fable from Obama’s sleazy SuperPAC with the actual stories of economic havoc that Obama’s union-pandering administration wrought on thousands of Delphi workers’.

Unlike the foul ad by Priorities USA [question: does the 'USA' in their name really stand for 'Utopia, Socialism, Annihilation'?], Mrs. Malkin quotes real people who have suffered real hardships thanks to Obama’s Fascist takeover of General Motors.A highlight:

Through two costly years of litigation and investigation, the Delphi workers have exposed how the stacked White House Auto Task Force schemed with union bosses to “cherry pick” (one Obama official’s own words) which financial obligations the new Government Motors company would assume and which they would abandon based on their political expedience. Obama’s own former auto czar Steve Rattner admitted in his recent memoir that “attacking the union’s sacred cow” could “jeopardize” the auto bailout deal.

In June, 20 months after a federal judge first ordered the government to cooperate, the Delphi Salaried Retirees Association broke through the administration’s information stonewall and dislodged 62,000 pages of documents in their lawsuit to right the administration’s wrongs. As Matthew Boyle of The Daily Caller reported on Tuesday, the documents included “internal government emails (that contradicted) sworn testimony, in federal court and before Congress, given by several Obama administration figures. They also indicate that the administration misled lawmakers and the courts … and that administration figures violated federal law.”

Again, I ponder why anyone would support a political party that has to lie to win. Why, indeed, would ANYONE tolerate Bill Burton and his scumbaggery?

What is wrong with politics people ask. Well, lots of things, but people devoid of any integrity, or any decency, people like Burton, are the biggest problem. I would call Burton a boil on the ass of America, but a boil does no deserve that comparison. By the way, Joe Soptic, was offered a buyout, but refused apparently. I would love to know the details of that buyout offer

Under ObamaCare, Mr. Soptic would have been slapped with a fine for not having health insurance. Obama’s chicanery is beyond disgusting, as are his hypocrisy and lies. November 6th can’t get here soon enough.

-They support such a party because they tell them what they want to hear, what they want to believe about the world.

-Question: Is Soptic Bob Newhart’s brother?

True Bob, the Left’s followers, the useful idiots are emotionally retarded. Sorry, they really are. Everything is emotionalism with them. No thinking, just anger/fear/rage/envy, whatever emotion strikes them

  1. Donald Douglas: Maybe Romney should pick Paul Ryan « The Daley Gator - August 9, 2012

[...] One more point here. I keep hearing that Mitt needs to pick Kelly Ayotte, or Bobby Jindal, or Marco Rubio, or maybe Condi Rice because it would send the “message”. The “message”, of course is that the GOP is diverse, big tent, open to change, and blah, blah, blah. The sad truth is if the GOP nominated two minorities for the next ten elections, and if half the GOP members of Congress were something other than White guys, the Democrats would still say the GOP was a party of bigoted old White men. Maybe the Beltway folks have not noticed that the Left lies, a lot! Maybe they have missed the rantings of Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Steny Hoyer, and others?  Maybe they have missed the vilest of attack ads on Romney? [...]
