After a brief session to gavel in the convention Monday, the Republicans begin speeches and convention business Tuesday in Tampa at 2pm when they will vote to approve the platform and rules committee recommendations. The convention was delayed for a day due to tropical storm Isaac.
On Tuesday, the GOP will nominate their presidential and vice presidential candidates and proceed with the roll call vote of the states. Ann Romney will speak Tuesday night along with NJ Gov. Chris Christie. On Wednesday, Rep. Ryan will accept the VP nomination and on Thursday evening Mitt Romney will speak and accept his nomination.
