The ongoing war against God

There are certain truths in life, maybe I will make a list of them one day, kind of like Rush Limbaugh did years ago, but for now, allow me to focus on just one of these truths. Leftists HATE God. Yes, I know any Leftist reading this will howl in outrage. They will say that they merely wish to keep the “separation” of church and state that our Founders placed in the Constitution. Of course, the fact that there is no such separation never stops Leftists, and Liberals, who are just Leftists in training from finding it. And, sadly, enough Leftists judges have also found, or rather imagined, or maybe invented is a better term, such a constitutional standard.

Now, you might be thinking that just because the Left gets the Constitution wrong does not necessarily mean that they hate God. And I would agree, if, and this is a massive if, the Left did not spend so much time trying to use that imaginary clause in the Constitution to stamp out every last mention of God in the public realm. The sad fact is that wherever you can find a  display of the Ten Commandments in a school, or a public park, or a courthouse, you will find an outraged Atheist speed dialing the ACLU, or some other Left wing organization. The sad fact is that these same miscreants have done their level best to erase Christmas displays anywhere. In an odd twist, these  very same Intolerants will gladly tell you that Santa Claus, and Christmas Trees are NOT Christian symbols, but rather pagan, or secular symbols of the “Winter Solstice”, or whatever generic name they are currently using for CHRISTmas! But, let a city put Santa and his reindeer up in a city park, or let a school have a Christmas party, or even dare to have red and green cups and napkins at that party and the same freak shows will be screaming to high Heaven. Come on, make up your minds already.

Again, the excuse often used for waging war on cup cakes with the dreaded red or green icing at a school party, or for raising hell over a manger scene or a Christmas Tree in the local library, is that someone might be, hold your breath, offended! The right not to be offended is another right found in the Constitution according to Leftist’s deluded mind. Of course that right against having your feelings hurt only protects Leftist whiners and agitators from offense. Every one else, A.K.A. Normal Americans are not protected. Odd isn’t it? The Left will argue passionately about fairness and equality, until something they do offends a normal American. then the “right not to be offended” morphs into the right to fuck off and die.

For those still not convinced that the Left hates God let me give you on more item to ruminate on. The Left  wraps itself up in the first amendment, especially the freedom of speech part. It also wraps itself up in the “community”. Leftists are always talking about community, the Black Community, the Hispanic Community, the LGBT Community, this community that community. But let the Normal American Community express themselves by putting up a war memorial in a city park that dares to mention God in any way, even if that is just a simple cross, and the same Leftists are there to try to take that memorial down.

So, the Left loves fairness, and equality, they hate when anyone is offended, they love freedom of expression, and “community”, as long as it benefits their agenda. And in this case erasing public mentions or displays of Christianity IS the sole agenda. So, what else can we assume here but that Leftists hate God. But, why do they hate God? Why would radical Atheists be so vehement about forcing everyone else to submit to their beliefs? Note, I said radical Atheists because most Atheists really do not give a flip about a Santa Claus in a park. They do not believe, and do not have time to worry about your beliefs, which is fine with me. So, again the question. Why do Leftists hate God? Well, because they hate liberty and individualism.

Think of America. Is there a greater target for Leftist hate than America? Is there a nation more maligned among Leftists than America? The answer is no. And, when you dissect all the protests against America, you find a common theme. The hatred of liberty. And where does liberty, as honored in America come from? Liberty comes from God. The American ideal is that we are created with certain rights. These rights have a source, and that source is God. Nothing will agitate a Leftists more than any value system that dares challenge their core ideal, that rights are NOT individual rights. Leftists hold that rights are collective, and that these rights come not from God, but from government. And as the source of these collective rights, government can restrict, limit, or take certain rights at will.

So it comes down to a basic, fundamental issue. If the Individualists are right, then God is the source of our rights, and those rights are inherently OURS. If Individualists are correct, then government does not have the authority to give, take, or restrict these natural rights. To a Leftist/Collectivist, the source of all our rights is government, and all those right are collective. Leftists can never form their Utopian State as long as we, the people recognize God as the source of our liberty. So, for that Utopia to grow God must go. That is why Leftists hate God.

All you really need to know about Leftism in 13 simple rules

I decided earlier today to do a post outlining the Rules of Leftism so everyone could come to grips with the undeniable truth about the evil I call Leftism.

1- When a Leftist says “by any means…” BELIEVE them! They have a moral compass guided by one thing. If it helps them win, it is moral.

2- Leftism is an ideology of convenience. A Leftist, or a Liberal (a Leftist in training) can change their stance on an issue depending on what party is in power. Just because Leftists wanted to kick Clarence Thomas to the curb over accusations of sexual harassment, did not mean far more serious allegations about Bill Clinton mattered to them.

3- Leftism is just another bastard child of Marxism. Leftists never wish to be called out for what they really are, which is Communists. Everything Marx believed in, they believe in. Never be fooled by their rhetoric.

4- Leftism is about one thing, control! Control of you, your earnings, your property, your kids, your  rights, and certainly your thinking!

5- Leftists often use the term “power to the people”. Yet, everything they strive for seeks to dis-empower people. As Dennis Prager says the bigger the state, the smaller the individual, and the Left has yet to meet a state that is too big or an individual that is powerless enough,

6- The Left HATES your gun more than anything else. Why? Well because Leftism is all about Collectivism, and the ultimate enemy of Collectivists is Individualism. And nothing promotes Individualism more than the right to keep and bear arms. There can never be the Leftist Utopia as long as the right to keep and bear arms is in place. That right, given by the Creator, and protected by the Constitution our Founders gave us is the one liberty that all other’s hang on. The Left knows this, which is why they seek to destroy that liberty.

7- Leftists do not believe in God-given, or natural rights. They believe all right  MUST come from, and be controlled by big government. God-given rights cannot be touched by government. They are as inherent to us as is our soul. The Founders listed such rights, and constrained the government from restricting those rights. The Left has been trying to undo that ever since the birth of America.

8- Leftists seek to allow government to control individual liberty for the “common good”. To the Left, individual liberty, be it free speech, self-defense, freedom of religion, is to be trampled when it becomes a detriment to that common good. And, of course, only a Leftist government can “properly” judge what the common good is.

9- Leftists love freedom of speech, as long it they approve of it!

10- Leftists are not racists, or sexists, they are Marxists. Yes a Leftist will use racist, and sexist attacks on women and minorities when it suits them, But their motivation is not to discriminate, it is to USE those minorities to gain electoral power. And that electoral power can then be used to “fundamentally change” America.

11- The Left divides, then labels people, so as to control them. The Left uses this tactic with great effect. They have used it with women, Blacks, Hispanics, Homosexuals, Asians, the old, the young. First they convince people in a certain group that EVERYTHING in their life revolves around their sexuality, or gender or race. This allows the Left to convince any group that they must THINK as a group, or they are a traitor to that group. Next, the Left convinces these groups that Conservatives hate them, and that the only hope for their gender, sexuality, or race is to vote against the Conservatives.

12- Ignorance is the fertilizer that fuels Leftism. Leftism thrives on the uneducated. And as well on those that have been indoctrinated rather than educated. This is why Leftists always want more focus, and money for education, mandatory pre-school, and for everyone to go to college.

13- Leftists hate powerful corporations, and powerful groups like the NRA, but worship at the altar of all-powerful government. It is horrible to the Left when a health insurance company will not cover you. But, if the government dictates who gets care, and what type of care, well that is Utopia. The Left hates it when gas prices are high, and the people suffer as long as “big oil” is profiting. But if the oil industry were nationalized, and the government made all the money, and gas prices were even higher? Yes, Utopia!

Take these rules, pass them around, and never ever forget them!

Dear Parents and Guardians:

I am writing to let you know about an incident that occurred this morning in one of our classrooms and encourage you to discuss this matter with your child in a manner you deem most appropriate.

During breakfast this morning, one of our students used food to make inappropriate gestures that disrupted the class. While no physical threats were made and no one [was] harmed, the student had to be removed from the classroom.

As you are aware, the … Code of Student Conduct and appropriate consequences related to violations of the code are clearly spelled out in the Student Handbook, which was sent home during the first week of school and can be found on our website, http://www.aacps.org….

If your children express that they are troubled by today’s incident, please talk with them and help them share their feelings. Our school counselor is available to meet with any students who have the need to do so next week. In general, please remind them of the importance of making good choices.

I’d like to preface this long tweet by saying that my passion comes from my deepest sympathy and shared sorrow with yesterday’s victims and with the utmost respect for the people and the police/fire/medical/political forces of Aurora and all who seek to comfort and aid these victims.

This morning, I made a comment about how I do not understand people who support public ownership of assault style weapons like the AR-15 used in the Colorado massacre.

That comment, has of course, inspired a lot of feedback. There have been many tweets of agreement and sympathy but many, many more that have been challenging at the least, hostile and vitriolic at the worst.

Clearly, the angry, threatened and threatening, hostile comments are coming from gun owners and gun advocates. Despite these massacres recurring and despite the 100,000 Americans that die every year due to domestic gun violence – these people see no value to even considering some kind of control as to what kinds of weapons are put in civilian hands.

Many of them cite patriotism as their reason – true patriots support the Constitution adamantly and wholly. Constitution says citizens have the right to bear arms in order to maintain organized militias. [...]

These people believe that the US government is eventually going to go street by street and enslave our citizens. Now as long as that is only happening to liberals, homosexuals and democrats – no problem. But if they try it with anyone else – it’s going to be arms-ageddon and these committed, God-fearing, brave souls will then use their military-esque arsenal to show the forces of our corrupt government whats-what. These people think they meet the definition of a “militia”. They don’t. At least not the constitutional one. And, if it should actually come to such an unthinkable reality, these people believe they would win. That’s why they have to “take our country back”. From who? From anyone who doesn’t think like them or see the world like them. They hold the only truth, everyone else is dangerous. Ever meet a terrorist that doesn’t believe that? Just asking.

If David Frum keeps this up, he might replace David Brooks as the worst “Conservative” columnist!

David Frum somehow decided that he should defend Nanny Bloomberg’s idiotic, ineffective and inane soda ban proposal. The result was pathetic, and when I say pathetic, I am talking MSNBS level here!

So let’s defy the trend here and say: Good for Bloomberg. Obesity is America’s most important public health problem, and the mayor has led the way against it. This latest idea may or may not yield results. But it is already raising awareness. Even if it fails to become law, it ought to prod the beverage industry into acting as more responsible corporate citizens.

So, the idea might not actually accomplish anything, but it will raise awareness. Awwww, how touching, let’s all light a candle and sing. Frum continues

Americans drink more soda for the very simple reason: it’s getting cheaper. The inflation-adjusted price of soda has declined by an estimated 48% over the past 20 years. Improvements in packaging account for much of this price decline. It costs barely anything more to manufacture a 64-ounce “double gulp” container than to produce the former standard sizes.

Of course, the fact that it tastes good has NOTHING to do with why we buy it. I would point out to Frum that more and more folks are drinking diet sodas, but why stop him? He is doing such a great job making an ass of himself. Let us look at possibly the most asinine paragraph EVER penned, not counting everything Charles Blow has ever written of course.

Some object that the mayor’s proposal to restrict serving sizes will restrict liberty. But the liberty restricted is not the liberty of the soda-drinker. If they wish, soda drinkers can buy a 2-liter bottle of soda at the grocery for about $1.70 and pour as much of it down their throats as they wish. The liberty that is being restricted is the liberty of the soda seller to manipulate known human weaknesses to the seller’s advantage and the buyer’s detriment.

Good grief! I have headache from reading that. Apparently, Frum forgets that SOME soda “sellers” are COMPLETELY unaffected by this stupid law. And, I suppose that he never thought that restaurants might, you know give REFILLS on those 16oz sodas? Or will Bloomberg have police stationed at all restaurants? Maybe Frum could volunteer for Soda Nanny duty? I am sure Bloomberg  would give him a spiffy uniform and badge reading David Frum Soda Refill Control Czar! Douchenozzle!

Now, for the BIG FINISH!

But if a restraint on soda serving size will not do everything, it may still do something. Or possibly not. The idea may fail. The idea is an experiment, and most experiments fail. We learn from failure how to design a better effort next time. And when we do at least succeed in this difficult struggle for public health, we will all owe New York’s visionary mayor our thanks for leading the way.

I believe Frum may have actually suffered a stroke before writing that last bit of drivel. Good grief!

The difference between Liberals and Conservatives?

Well, there are many. Here are just a few I thought of sitting here this evening

Conservatives believe abortion kills an unborn child, therefore they oppose it. Liberals believe abortion kills an unborn child as well, they just do not care.

Conservatives believe that self-defense is a fundamental human right, therefore they fully support the Constitutional guarantee of the right to keep and bear arms. Liberals believe self-defense, and gun ownership encourages self-reliance and individualism, therefore they are for disarming the citizenry.

Liberals believe that people who want everyone to get a tax cut are greedy. Conservatives believe that people who want to mooch of the success if others are greedy!

Conservatives believe that skin color, gender, and sexual orientation are unimportant, and that it is personal character that truly matters. Liberals are obsessed with labeling everyone, and hyphenating as many Americans as they can.

Conservatives and Liberals both cherish diversity, but in different ways. Conservatives view different ideals, ideologies, and opinions, and backgrounds as diversity. Conservatives also do not mind dissent, they welcome the chance to debate. Liberals, on the other hand see diversity as people having certain ideals based not on opinion, but on gender, skin color, or sexual orientation. Liberals also LOATHE any opinion except theirs of course.

Conservatives define freedom of speech as every American having a perfect right to voice their views. Liberals define freedom of speech as anyone toeing the Liberal line having the right to speak.

Both Conservatives and Liberals see the Constitution as a living document. Conservatives view the Constitution as a living document that actually means what it says, and that is the supreme law of the land. Liberals say the Constitution is living, meaning that it can mean anything a Liberal wants it to mean.

Conservatives believe that competition is a good thing. Liberals believe competition is bad because it might hurt someone’s feelings.

Conservatives believe history is important because it teaches us about where we have been, and that we can learn from knowledge of history. Liberals believe history is important because they can twist it to teach children that America is a racist, sexist, greedy nation that needs more Marxism.

Conservatives are more optimistic and Liberals are more pessimistic.

Conservatives are more charitable. They believe in giving THEIR money. Liberals are less charitable and tend to believe that real charity is the government taking other people’s money to spend on social programs Liberals favor.

There are more I might add later but I close with the BIGGEST difference between Conservatives and Liberals.

Conservatives are Individualists, meaning they believe that the rights defined in the Constitution are Natural, or God-give rights, that government cannot take away. Liberals are Collectivists, meaning that they see individualism as a dangerous thing. They also believe that all rights should come ONLY from government, and that individual rights are secondary to the “common good”.

Obama’s Good Friend Rod Blagojevich Begins 14-Year Prison Term For Corruption – BBC News

Disgraced former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich has reported to prison to begin his 14-year term for corruption.

Blagojevich, 55, was convicted in June 2011 after he attempted to sell President Barack Obama’s former Senate seat.

The married father will serve his time at the Federal Correctional Institution Englewood outside Denver, Colorado.

Blagojevich is the second consecutive Illinois governor to be convicted for corruption.

The Democrat, who appeared on a reality TV show during his case, was covered by camera crews as he left his Chicago home and went through security at the airport.

“I’m leaving with a heavy heart, a clear conscience and I have high, high hopes for the future,” said Blagojevich on Thursday as he left home.

“While my faith in things has sometimes been challenged, I still believe this is America; this is a country that is governed by the rule of law; that the truth ultimately will prevail,” he said on Wednesday to an assembled crowd and reporters outside his home.

The former governor, who was heard on FBI wiretaps scoffing at a low-six figure salary, will work a menial prison job that pays 12 cents an hour.

Blagojevich’s lawyers say they are working to appeal his sentence. Federal prison rules require inmates to serve 85% of their term before becoming eligible for early release.

He will spend his term in a low-security Colorado prison that also counts Jeff Skilling, Enron’s former chief, as an inmate. Skilling is serving a 24-year sentence for fraud.

Most of the 1,000 inmates at FCI Englewood are in jail for drug offences, according to a US Bureau of Prisons spokesman.

Blagojevich was elected governor of Illinois in 2002 and served until 2009, when the state legislature threw him out of office following his arrest.

As governor, he was tasked under law with appointing someone to fill the Senate seat left vacant when Mr Obama won election to the White House.

In wire taps, Blagojevich was heard describing the Senate appointment as a “golden” opportunity.

He was also convicted of trying to extort campaign donations from business executives, and of soliciting bribes from racing officials.

One of his top fundraisers, Antoin Rezko, was sentenced in November to 10-and-a-half years in prison.

Drunk Chick Jailed After Calling 911 And Asking Cops To Help Her Find A Place To Pee – Weekly Vice

Marcia Usher, a 32-year-old Hudson woman was jailed Wednesday after she allegedly called 911 to ask for assistance in finding a place to urinate.

According to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office, Usher called 911 and reported that she was lost in the woods somewhere and was looking for a place to urinate.

Officers traced the call and found her drinking a beer on her front porch, not in the woods as she had claimed.

Investigators say officers asked Usher if they could search an open cooler that was near her. She allowed them, and stated that there was a knife inside. Officers instead found a handgun sitting on top of the beer.

When officers attempted to apprehend her she resisted briefly, but was tackled to the ground and handcuffed. When Usher arrived at the jail, a vial containing methamphetamine residue was found on her person during a strip search.

Usher was booked into the Land O’ Lakes Detention Center and charged with carrying a concealed weapon without a permit, possession of methamphetamine, introduction/possession of contraband in a detention facility, and resisting arrest without violence. She is currently being held in lieu of a $15,150 bond.
