The epic battle for the ages begins!

Feminuts vs Trannies! This showdown of victim classes is for the I Am Oppressed Championship Belt! The Other McCain offers  a preview

The ongoing conflict between radical feminists and transgender activists, which I first noticed in January and revisited last night in the context of the Dana McCallum rape case, has escaped the notice of mainstream liberal journalism. Liberals tacitly side with the transgenders in pretending that the radfems — a/k/a TERFs (Trans Exclusionary Radical Feminists) — have no legitimate grievance.

What the TERFs perceive is that male-to-female transgenders are cynically seeking to usurp and co-opt the “feminist” label for their own advantage, thus shunting aside biological women and demoting them to second-class status within their own movement.

Of course, the instinctive conservative reaction to all this is to pop some popcorn and enjoy the schadenfreude. But the very fact that liberals want everybody to ignore this obscure conflict should be a clue that the conflict is, in fact, highly significant. Much like the Hugo Schwzyer “male feminist” controversy, which long raged on the margins of Gender Theory discussion before erupting into headlines, the TERF war against transfeminism (and vice-versa) tells us a lot about the problems of contemporary progressivism.

This one should have a stipulation. The loser has to make the winner sandwiches for life!

A Kook, a mass murderer, and the Kook’s shoe walk into a bar………

Never under estimate the crazy factor

The wackos are everywhere nowadays:

Before a wig-wearing nutjob threw a shoe at Hillary Clinton, the footwear flinger gave her heart to accused Colorado mass killer James Holmes.
Alison Ernst, 36, of Phoenix, was identified Friday as the sneaker-tossing kook who targeted the former First Lady one day earlier during a speech at a Las Vegas casino.
And Colorado officials confirmed she was the loopy lady escorted from the courtroom after a bizarre — and bald-headed — outburst during an August 2012 court hearing for Holmes. . . .
Twenty months earlier, she arrived in a Colorado courtroom with her head shaved while wearing a red dress before declaring she held evidence “vital to the defense of James Holmes.” Two deputies quickly escorted her outside.
The Arizona woman later filed an off-the-wall lawsuit detailing her devotion to Holmes, who was accused of killing 12 people and wounding another 70 in an Aurora movie theater. . . .
“I seek a restraining order to stop Holmes from entering my mind through subliminal messaging and causing me to be obsessed with him on a daily basis.”

Wow! Sounds like she already has a restraining order against reality

Left-Wing Media Matters for America declares victory over Fox News

Stacy McCain points out some facts about Fox News after Media Matters for Marxists Against America declares that they have discredited Fox

This is analogous to the problem of conservatives making Fox News a singular focus of efforts to combat liberal media bias. As early as February 2009, I described what I called “The Fox Trap”:

Media-wise, the GOP made the mistake of putting all its eggs in one basket. I enjoy Fox News, but it has created a syndrome where Republicans watch Fox all the time and delude themselves into thinking, “Hey, our message is getting out! We’re winning!” Fact: The evening news broadcasts of ABC, NBC and CBS reach a combined audience of about 22 million; the top rated Fox News show, “The O’Reilly Factor,” reaches 4 million viewers. So if the three broadcast networks are viciously biased against Republicans – and they are – then that anti-GOP message is reaching more than 5 times as many TV viewers as Fox.

Last week, I described the problem again with updated numbers:

[D]uring the Bush presidency, the Left created institutions (notably Media Matters) based on the dubious theory that Fox News and other conservative media had too much influence.
That theory cannot be reconciled with the facts:

NBC Nightly News  . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 9.3 million
ABC World News . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 8.2 million
CBS Evening News . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 7.3 million
Fox News (The O’Reilly Factor) . . . . . . . . . . . 3.2 million
MSNBC (Hardball with Chris Matthews) . . . . . 940,000
CNN (Anderson Cooper 360) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 605,000

Fox News is, as it proudly boasts, Number One in Cable News, accounting for 68% of the cable news audience. Add in the major network evening news broadcasts, however, and the total news audience is closer to 30 million, of which Fox’s share is about 11%.
In other words, 89% of news on TV is reliably liberal in its perspective, and the Left’s obsession with Fox News is absurd. Why should Media Matters have an annual budget of $10 million to counteract the influence of a network that gets 11% of the news audience?

We could discuss at length the ramifications of this data, but the point to be made immediately is that Fox News has functioned like a channelizing terrain feature in the informational battlefield. For the defenders of liberal media hegemony, all they had to do was to isolate Fox — identify it as a hostile force in the eyes of other media — and then to target both the network’s messages and its messengers.

Some very good points raised there. Fox has not influenced the rest of the media to change their game. Instead they have just been pigeon-holed as “Right Wing” by the Left, and to many, many Americans, who get their news from NBC, CBS, and ABC, well, Fox has a, shall we say tarnished reputation. In short, we cannot just rely on Fox News folks. Or on talk radio, which also has been smeared mightily by the Left, or on blogs, which have also been smeared and marginalized by “real journalists”. Stacy McCain sums it up very well

Andrew Breitbart understood this tactic, and fought very hard to escape the “Fox Trap,” which is why he delivered one of his biggest scoops on the WeinerGate scandal — the Meagan Broussard story, which confirmed that Weiner was “sexting” with multiple women — directly to ABC News as an exclusive. If conservative messages and messengers can be limited to one media channel, and that channel reaches no more than a minor fraction of the total news audience, liberals win. It’s really that simple

Bingo!

RS McCain will use any excuse to say Roll Tide

Including mocking a PC infested Liberal Arts school

Tuition at Hamilton College in Clinton, N.Y., is $45,620 a year, and the school employs Amit Taneja as Director, Diversity & Inclusion. Taneja is head of Hamilton’s Days-Massolo Center, which “was created to foster dialogue and understanding within and across differences. The Days-Massolo Center is home to Hamilton’s Womyn’s Center and the newly established LGBTQ Resource Center. So, basically, it’s diversity über allesat Hamilton, and Amit Taneja is Obergruppenführer.

This pricey liberal arts school scheduled an event called “Real Talk: A Dialogue About Internalized Racism,” about how minorities “may have accepted racist attitudes towards other racial groups and [their] own racial/ethnic communities” and, in order to create a “safe zone,” the event was open to people of color only.

I repeat, the event was open to people of color only.

No whites allowed.

Permit me to point out that annual tuition at the University of Alabama is$9,450 for in-state students, $23,950 for out of state.

Any student at Hamilton could transfer to Tuscaloosa, save $20,000 a year and get a hell of a football team to cheer for, too.

Also, the best-looking women in the world.

Screw this elite “diversity” trip. Roll, Tide.

See, no Liberal Arts college, no matter how inane, or insane is safe from The Other McCain. It must be RAAAAACISM! Or, maybe SHAAAAAVISM?

If David Sirota is not the biggest prick in the world, he missed a great chance

Aleister has had it with goons that try to politicize very tragedy, and David Sirota, scumbag supreme, has gone off the deep end of over the Boston terror attack

This, is where I draw the line and speak up. This is the point at which I can no longer remain silent.

This is beyond bad taste, it’s the promotion of racial hatred and violence for the sake of partisanship.

Everyone, every single person who works for Salon.com should be ashamed of themselves.

Especially you, David Sirota. You are a horrible human being.

Why would people like Aleister, Donald Douglas, Stacy McCain, and oh yes, me be so disgusted? Here is Sirota’s piece at Salon, which used to just be a worthless rag, but now is not even worth using as toilet paper.

As we now move into the official Political Aftermath period of the Boston bombing — the period that will determine the long-term legislative fallout of the atrocity — the dynamics of privilege will undoubtedly influence the nation’s collective reaction to the attacks. That’s because privilege tends to determine: 1) which groups are — and are not — collectively denigrated or targeted for the unlawful actions of individuals; and 2) how big and politically game-changing the overall reaction ends up being.

This has been most obvious in the context of recent mass shootings. In those awful episodes, a religious or ethnic minority group lacking such privilege would likely be collectively slandered and/or targeted with surveillance or profiling (or worse) if some of its individuals comprised most of the mass shooters. However, white male privilege means white men are not collectively denigrated/targeted for those shootings — even though most come at the hands of white dudes.

Likewise, in the context of terrorist attacks, such privilege means white non-Islamic terrorists are typically portrayed not as representative of whole groups or ideologies, but as “lone wolf” threats to be dealt with as isolated law enforcement matters. Meanwhile, non-white or developing-world terrorism suspects are often reflexively portrayed as representative of larger conspiracies, ideologies and religions that must be dealt with as systemic threats — the kind potentially requiring everything from law enforcement action to military operations to civil liberties legislation to foreign policy shifts.

“White privilege is knowing that even if the bomber turns out to be white, no one will call for your group to be profiled as terrorists as a result, subjected to special screening or threatened with deportation,” writes author Tim Wise. “White privilege is knowing that if this bomber turns out to be white, the United States government will not bomb whatever corn field or mountain town or stale suburb from which said bomber came, just to ensure that others like him or her don’t get any ideas. And if he turns out to be a member of the Irish Republican Army we won’t bomb Dublin. And if he’s an Italian-American Catholic we won’t bomb the Vatican.”

Because of these undeniable and pervasive double standards, the specific identity of the Boston Marathon bomber (or bombers) is not some minor detail — it will almost certainly dictate what kind of governmental, political and societal response we see in the coming weeks. That means regardless of your particular party affiliation, if you care about everything from stopping war to reducing the defense budget to protecting civil liberties to passing immigration reform, you should hope the bomber was a white domestic terrorist. Why? Because only in that case will privilege work to prevent the Boston attack from potentially undermining progress on those other issues.

Absolutely mind-numbing isn’t it? Every normal person wants whoever committed this evil act hunted down, and punished. Personally I would like to see the die a horrific and extremely painful death, and guess what, be they White, Black, Asian, old, young, man, woman matters not to me. Why? Because it is the act of evil I despise, not skin colors, or sexual orientation, or religion. People like Sirota are obsessed of course with Racial Obsession Syndrome. EVERYTHING is somehow racial to them, and if it isn’t racial they hope and will make it racial anyway. Evidence that other Leftist tools are foaming at the mouth at the very thought of exploiting this event can be found at The Other McCain

So, my three most recent stories for Viral Read were about:

  1. A dead 8-year-old boy;
  2. A dead 29-year-old woman; and
  3. A press conference where the FBI said they are conducting a “wide open” investigation into the Boston bombing.

While doing a search for more coverage to include in my updated aggregation, I happened upon this ghoulish blog post by Politico‘s media critic Dylan Byers:

For many journalists I’ve spoken with today, this ignorance is tortuous. The identification of the attacker(s) and the reasons for the attack will likely have enormous political (and potentially geopolitical) ramifications, which will vary greatly depending on whether the attacker(s) is domestic or foreign, acting alone or as part of an organization. We’re standing on the verge of a very important national conversation about something, and we have no idea what it is.

To translate: By “a very important national conversation,” of course Dylan Byers means, another chance to turn a horrible tragedy into a political talking point.

It really must be an awful existence to be a Leftist, to have that much rage, and venom and hatred inside of you. It must be mental torture for them to look in the mirror knowing deep down they are so twisted that their first reaction when a little boy is killed is to exploit that death along with the suffering of so many.

A guy got a WHAT stuck in his WHERE? And live-Tweeted about it?

Stacy McCain, when not blogging about loathsome attention seeking internet trolls or puffy faced rabid badgers with hemorrhoids also has time to blog, or not blog about a guy sticking a, ah, device, yeah, a device into his, ah, well an orifice that is usually designated as EXIT ONLY Wait, did I mention the “device? was vibrating?

Sometimes you see an item and instantly think, “Wow, I gotta blog that, because this will be hilarious.” And so it was when I saw a weird bit of news from HuffPo, but then . . . blank.

Zilch. Zero. Nada. And I think the problem is that, once you’d read the item, there really isn’t anything you can add to it that would make it any funnier than it already is — that is to say, if you’re the kind of person who thinks it’s funny when a guy has to go to the hospital because he got a dildo wedged up inside his bunghole, then live-Tweets the process of having it extracted.

Did I mention there’s an X-ray?

Yeah, I guess sometimes there are no words, but this guy Tweeted some anyway

I looked the woman at the ER desk dead in the eye and said “there is no other way to put this. I have a vibrating dildo inside my ass”

Ace also is having fun at this idiot’s expense
