…GLENN BECK – NRA STAND AND FIGHT RALLY
Odd, immediately after every terror attack or mass shooting, the Left goes straight for the blame Conservative bloggers, politicians, talk host card. They try to blame the NRA, Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck, Ted Cruz, Rush, the Tea Party, etc. They do not wait for evidence before jumping off the Cliff of Conclusions. But, when the evidence begins to be discovered, and they are proven wrong, AGAIN, they immediately launch into do not jump to conclusion mode. Donald Douglas sums them up this way
Leftists truly are the scum of political life.
Their hypocrisy knows no bounds. Take David Sirota for example. After writing that he NEEDED the Boston terrorists to be White, after writing that it would be good if they were White, after making it ALL about race, Sirota has changed his tune
Our reaction to terrorism shouldnt be predicated on the demography of the terrorists. Sad that bigotry apparently obscures this simple truth
Egads, does this buffoon NOT recall writing the piece at Salon? Again, this is why I refer to Liberalism as an Ideology of convenience. They can just change their tune on a whim. But there is more from David
While media is trying not to assert motive, you’ll notice that nobody on TV is making ANY effort to respect a basic presumption of innocence
Now these terrorists who committed a monstrous act are victims in this idiot’s twisted, morally retarded mind, oh but it gets better!
Tweets/emails celebrating fact that suspects are (allegedly) Muslim suggests many white people were hoping that was the case. Question: Why?
So, he can write a column, based on nothing BUT holding out hope that the suspects would be White, but if anyone points out that these two are Muslims, well that is RAAAAACIST! And Sirota has company on the Hypocrisy Express. Check out Sally Kohn’s Tweet
Those rushing to assume motives based on where these guys were from would be cautioning restraint if suspects were from rural Montana
Actually Sally if they were from Montana YOU would be beating the door down to blame Conservatives, and Sirota would likely have had an orgasm over such news. I also love how Sally Kohn is apparently oblivious to the fact that radical Muslims tend to commit far more terror attacks than those Montana folks do. Jim Treacher has the best response to this
The people who’ve been aching for the #BostonMarathon bombing to be motivated by ideas they hate will now shame you for discussing motive.
I think they paid five dollars for it, but the price isn’t the issue, the ideology is. We all know al-Jazeera is heavily biased, and apparently, Al Gore found their ideology similar to his
Before pan-Arab broadcaster al-Jazeera bought Current TV, the fledgling cable news network founded by former Vice President Al Gore, conservative commentator Glenn Beck had pursued purchasing the company — and was rejected.
The Wall Street Journal revealed that when Beck’s TheBlaze TV sought ownership of the Current broadcasting network, the bid was rejected because the principles of Beck’s company did not align with those of Current.
“Other suitors who didn’t share Current’s ideology were rebuffed,” reporters Keach Hagey and John Jannarone wrote in the Wall Street Journal. “Glenn Beck’s TheBlaze approached Current about buying the channel last year, but was told that ‘the legacy of who the network goes to is important to us and we are sensitive to networks not aligned with our point of view,’” according to a person familiar with the negotiations.”
The former vice president confirmed the sale Wednesday that reportedly netted $500 million, saying in a statement that Al-Jazeera shares Current TV’s mission “to give voice to those who are not typically heard; to speak truth to power; to provide independent and diverse points of view; and to tell the stories that no one else is telling.”
In other words, Gore is a Leftist, and that makes him far closer to a “news” outfit that carries water for terrorists than to American Conservatives. The mask slips a little more, revealing what the American Left really is.
Liberal hypocrisy, thy name is Al:
Al Jazeera did not disclose the purchase price, but people with direct knowledge of the deal pegged it at around $500 million, indicating a $100 million payout for Mr. Gore, who owned 20 percent of Current. Mr. Gore and his partners were eager to complete the deal by Dec. 31, lest it be subject to higher tax rates that took effect on Jan. 1 . . .
Waiting for Team Obama to label Gore as greedy, and waiting, and waiting, and…….
During his show on TheBlazeTV Wednesday, Glenn Beck resumed his discussion on the First Amendment, particularly how it relates to artistic expression. After much controversy surrounding Beck’s creation of an Obama bobble head doll submerged in a mason jar of yellow liquid (which was actually water with food coloring), he sat down with the artist, Michael D’Antuono, who inspired it all with his controversial painting titled “Truth.”
The painting, which features a crucified President Barack Obama wearing a crown of thorns, led Beck to test the limits of freedom of speech.
D’Antuono argued that he did not intend to portray Obama as Christ despite the veil/curtains, crown of thorns and the implied crucifixion. Beck accused him of not being totally honest about his intentions.
“I do not think he is Christ. I was not trying to convey that,” D’Antuono told Beck, explaining the inspiration behind his painting. “Actually, this painting does not convey my own personal opinions. It is more a mirror reflecting the personal opinions and prejudices, preconceived ideas of the viewer. It’s kind of a sociological experiment.”
“I don’t buy that bullcr – come on,” Beck replied. “How do you not say this is an image of Christ? He is splitting the veil, you know that right?”
In response, the artist said there are so many “interpretations” and the curtains could stand for “creating transparency.”
What about the crucifixion pose? D’Antuono said Jesus was not the only person crucified, further defending his claim that he was not depicting Obama as Jesus.
“Crown of Thorns?” Beck asked.
“It could be. But I’m not comparing him to Jesus,” the artist replied.
“This is so dishonest,” Beck interjected.
Watch part one of the interview below via TheBlazeTV:
D’Antuono admitted he saw the “religious reference” but said he was trying to convey that Obama was “metaphorically crucified by the Right.”
“If he says the sky is blue, they are going to say it’s red. And blue is a communist color anyway. If he says he likes puppies they are going to say, well, he hates kittens,” he said. “So he was being crucified no matter what he did.”
Then Beck applied the hypocrisy test: “Would you think that you would ever paint something of me, that I am crucified by the Left?”
“Well, uh, I haven’t given that any consideration,” D’Antuono replied.
Beck also discussed a few of D’Antuono’s other paintings, including one that features a cop in a KKK hood holding a gun to a black child’s head who is holding a bag of skittles. The painting was supposedly “inspired” by the Trayvon Martin case but did not represent it. Beck said he found it “extraordinarily offensive.”
After some tough, but respectful, debating, D’Antuono later admitted that he did not expect Beck to be such a “reasonable person.”
“Yeah, I don’t know how I’m going to go home and tell my family,” the artist joked. “I expected you to try to tear me apart… I think that’s the reputation you have from the Left, but it’s not true.”
Though they agreed on very little, Beck said they were able to have a reasonable conversation about controversial things.
“There’s not enough people on either side that are seen in the media that can have an honest conversation,” Beck added.
The most surprising part of the interview though came at the very end of the segment.
After Beck mentioned the fact that D’Antuono does not watch his show, the artist replied: “Well, I may start.”
“I say all the time: do not take my word for it,” Beck continued. “Don’t trust the president, don’t trust your favorite politician, don’t trust your favorite host on television. Look it up yourself… We have to teach people to look for things themselves and use critical thinking. Almost all of us are zombified.”
…that people would be living in FEMA camps, and well
When George W. Bush was president, people on the far left pushed an internet conspiracy theory about the government forcing people to live in FEMA Camps.
The conspiracy was eventually debunked by… Glenn Beck.
While I’m not a conspiracy theory guy, I can’t help but notice that many of the victims of Hurricane Sandy are currently living in…. a FEMA Camp.
Know what it’s called? Camp Freedom. The residents report a prison like environment.
George Orwell, please call your office…
He stood and talked in the cool morning air a short distance up the road after security at the front gate threatened to have his car removed outside the entrance to what Sotelo’s identification tag calls “Camp Freedom,” even though it more closely resembles a prison camp.
The Seaside Heights, N.J., resident was at a Toms River, N.J., arena with his wife and three kids a half hour before the shelter opened as superstorm Sandy approached last week. On Wednesday, Sotelo was part of a contingent shifted to this makeshift tent city in a parking lot across the road from a racetrack about 30 miles north.
“Sitting there last night you could see your breath,” Sotelo said. Outside temperatures hovered below freezing, in the upper 20s and low 30s. “At (the arena) the Red Cross made an announcement that they were sending us to permanent structures up here that had just been redone, that had washing machines and hot showers and steady electric, and they sent us to tent city. We got (expletive).
“The elections are over, and here we are. There were Blackhawk helicopters flying over all day and night. They have heavy equipment moving past the tents all night.”
Welcome to the part of the disaster where people start falling through the cracks.

OK, I think I straightened that up! Also, do I KNOW Ellison has tie to the MB? No. Would it surprise me if he did? No!
WASHINGTON — Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.) laughed off claims by Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) that he has ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and said she makes such baseless accusations because, deep down, she thinks Muslims are “evil.”
Bachmann was already in hot water this week for saying Huma Abedin, a top aide to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, may be part of a Muslim Brotherhood conspiracy to infiltrate the U.S. government. Despite being criticized by leaders of her own party, Bachmann on Thursday said Ellison, one of two Muslims in Congress, also has connections to the hard-line Islamic group.
“He has a long record of being associated with [the Council on American–Islamic Relations] and with the Muslim Brotherhood,” Bachmann said during an interview on Glenn Beck’s radio show.
At least on last night’s debate comes from Robert of American and Proud. Here is my favorite part, his breakdown of Michele “Facts, Who Needs Facts” Bachmann
She went after Newt with false accusations and stretched talking points that have been discounted over and over again. She’s coming across as deranged and unhinged. I guess that’s why Beck likes her.
OUCH, a jab at Bachmann with an added shot at Glenn Beck. Excellent! Robert also has this observation about Rick Perry
This WAS Perry’s best debate to date. He was measured in his responses and he was also direct. He had a few memorable lines and he also stayed away from negativity for the most part. Perry if he can keep this style up may climb back up in the polls.
Spot on! Perry has risen in the Iowa polls, and I think he will continue to do so. Yes, I know the “experts” are saying this is a “two-man race” but, frankly the “experts” are so intent on being ahead of the curve, and backing the eventual winner that I stopped listening to them. Well, actually, I really never listened to them very much to begin with. They are more about convincing us how great they are at what they do, than actually being GOOD at what they do.
Beck said today that he would vote for a Ron Paul third party run over Gingrich. Is he nuts?

———————————————————————- TOP STORY ———————————————————————–
Back in 2009, the Glenn Beck program was the first major media outlet to air a clip of Ron Bloom, the Obama Administrations Car Czar, praising the violent tactics of Mao Zedong. Bloom is a senior official in the Obama Administration. No lightweight, his current duties include serving as Senior Advisor to the Secretary of the Treasury, director of the President’s Task Force on the Automotive Industry and also the Administration’s Senior Counselor for Manufacturing Policy. Mr. Bloom has a long past as a labor negotiator and union lawyer working for the United Steelworkers union since the mid nineties. Early in his career he also worked for the Service Employees International Union (SEIU).
So when the video surfaced of this top White House official praising the Chinese communist, Beck used the clip to help build the growing narrative of Obama officials admiration of aggressive and oppressive governments. Of course it can often seem that these reveling details are lost in the fast moving news cycles and giant machinery of the bureaucratic system. Until recently when Congressman Connie Mack (R-FL 14) brought a little poetic justice to our political process during a late June hearing for Stimulus Oversight and Government Spending by asking Mr. Bloom a tough series of questions about the remarks he made in the video. Mack played the clips for Bloom as he awkwardly tried to explain them away.

And their name was Jesse Lee!
The White House is stepping up its rapid response media operation, creating a communications position to respond to unfavorable stories on the Web, the Huffington Post reports.
HuffPo’s Sam Stein writes that Jesse Lee, a member of the Obama administration’s new media department, will take on a new role in replying — at times aggressively — to stories that paint the administration in a bad light.
In a preview of what his duties may be, Lee blasted Fox News commentator Glenn Beck in a White House blog post, accusing Beck of lying and engaging in a “partisan attack to boost ratings.”
Hmmm, I wonder how Jesse will handle the “Progressive” media types?
Lee is also expected to deal favorably with the “progressive media,” according to the memo.
Well, that comes as a shock now doesn’t it? I also wonder how soon he starts coming after bloggers?
