Facts and logic that contradict their arguments are dismissed as somehow tainted because they don’t come from reliable (i.e., leftist) sources, whereas any specimen of counter-factual lunacy is acceptable to them, so long as it supports their anti-social worldview. There is therefore no point in trying to reason with such fools.

In this bizarre Manichean dualism, there are only (a) people who share Amanda Marcotte’s gruesome death-fetish for maximizing the number of abortions, and (b) people who hate women.

McCain opines that Marcotte is trying desperately to rationalize the grotesque brutality that Kermit Gosnell committed somehow. Gosnell is not really to blame in Marcotte’s warped world. I hate reality TV. To me it is basically scripted, staged, stupid and mind numbing, and tends to feature some of the least likable people. Which of course makes reality TV a great place for America’s most clueless Republican, Meghan McCain. As Zip at Weasel Zippers wonders

What kind of deranged psychopath would watch a reality show based around McRINO’s talentless hack offspring?

Well, this is where we are isn’t it? Talent? Intellect? Who wants those? America apparently craves people who are related to famous people to people who actually have something of value to share.

So, what kind  of show will this be? What can viewers expect?

McCain’s show, “Raising McCain,” will follow her as she hits the road interviewing both experts and average Joe’s alike. So far the network has ordered 10 half-hour episodes that will begin airing on August 1.

Participant Media, which owns pivot, created the channel as a way to reach out to Millennials. Pivot will air a mix of narrative films, documentaries, comedies and dramas, including a show co-hosted by actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt of “3rd Rock from the Sun” fame. So far, the network plans to have a reach of 40 million cable subscribers when it launches in August. The network also plans to run a broadband-only feed of the channel for a monthly fee.

“We’re told … that young people can’t have news because we’re just tweeting all the time, and that’s just bullsh**,” McCain said during the presentation for the launch of Pilot TV.

Oh, I cannot wait. But, of course, there is some good news here. Think of McCain’s show as yet another Tree of Low-Hanging Blogging Fruit. The inanities expressed on this show are bound to produce bushels of clips to share, and yes, mock right here.

We Conservatives cannot catch a break on global warming, er climate change can we? We are accused of not believing in science, even though we do. We also cannot catch a break on immigration reform. On his Wednesday program, MSNBC host Thomas Roberts introduced McCain and asked her to address her back-and-forth with presidential candidate and former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich.

In 2008, we nominated the “Maverick”, now, some Republicans are saying Romney is the guy we must nominate? NOT SO FAST!

A lot of folks still get their news from the newspapers and the networks. This is sad but true. Sure the headline says the majority distrusts the media, but a lot of folks have nowhere else to get their news.

When its down to Romney, Perry, and Cain (go ahead and call me a racist for listing the black guy last) the MSM will be fluffing Romney big time. The only thing worse than the nominee being a conservative black guy or a Texan is the next POTUS being a conservative black guy or a Texan.

Either is a disaster for the left.

So we hear about electability and being a moderate and appealing to the independents .. just like we did with McCain.

What the conservatives need to be doing to Romney is tying his ass to McCain. We need to beat the drum that Romney is the “establishment pick” … just like McCain. That its Romney’s “turn” .. just like McCain. That Romney is “moderate” … just like McCain. That Romney appeals to the independents .. just like McCain.

Yes, i will work as hard as I can to get him elected IF he is nominated. But, my fellow Republicans, we can do better! Perry is far better, Cain is far better! This is not the time to anoint anyone. It is, rather the time to find out who the best candidate is. And for my money, Romney is not the best hope we have. So, please, let’s ignore the establishment wimps, who are terrified of anyone too Conservative, and those political addicts who want to get a nominee as quickly as possible. AS Steve points out THIS MATTERS!
