New York City Becoming More Retarded Every Day

NYC Mayor-Elect Bill De Blasio To Quickly Abolish “Inhumane” Horse-Drawn Carriages – Weasel Zippers

It begins.

.
Via NYDN:

Mayor-elect Bill de Blasio vowed to act quickly to abolish horse-drawn carriages in the city.

“We are going to get rid of the horse carriages. Period,” de Blasio said in response to a question at his press conference announcing his schools chancellor pick Monday.

“It’s over,” he said.

De Blasio said he would work with existing drivers to set them up with alternative vehicles to ferry tourists around Central Park.

De Blasio and advocacy groups who support him say it’s inhumane to make the horses work the dangerous city streets, but drivers insist their horses are well cared for and there’s no reason to end the industry.

Gay indoctrination? Some NSFW content

Matt at Conservative Hideout posts this info which will not surprise many of you

I know, this could well be classified under ‘Duh,” but a gay website has fully endorsed and admitted that their goal in education is to indoctrinate children.  Here are some excerpts…

Warning:  Content inappropriate for children!-Matt

Can We Please Just Start Admitting That We Do Actually Want To Indoctrinate Kids?

In response to New York’s recently introduced marriage equality bill, the so-called National Organization for Marriage got a bunch of pictures of black people and some guy who sounds like Foghorn Leghorn to repeat the same lies about indoctrinating schoolchildren that they ran in 2009. They accuse us of exploiting children and in response we say, “NOOO! We’re not gonna make kids learn about homosexuality, we swear! It’s not like we’re trying to recruit your children or anything.”But let’s face it—that’s a lie. We want educators to teach future generations of children to accept queer sexuality. In fact, our very future depends on it.

Why would we push anti-bullying programs or social studies classes that teach kids about the historical contributions of famous queers unless we wanted to deliberately educate children to accept queer sexuality as normal?

Remember, Prop 8 passed along age lines with the very old voting largely in favor of it. The younger generation doesn’t fear homosexuality as much because they’re exposed to fags on TV, online, and at school. And I don’t know a single lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender person who wants that to stop. I for one certainly want tons of school children to learn that it’s OK to be gay, that people of the same-sex should be allowed to legally marry each other, and that anyone can kiss a person of the same-sex without feeling like a freak. And I would very much like for many of these young boys to grow up and start fucking men. I want lots of young ladies to develop into young women who voraciously munch box. I want this just as badly as many parents want their own kids to grow up and rub urinary tracts together to trade proteins and forcefully excrete a baby.

Well, someone has a potty mouth don’t they? It sounds almost like this clown is trying to mock his own Gayness. I have a simple belief about Homosexuality, I do not really care if someone is Gay, that is their business. But, I am turned off by those who want to stick their sex lives in my face. And any effort to indoctrinate kids is despicable. The “tolerance” this person advocates is not true tolerance. Teaching kids not to be cruel, not to bully, etc is OK But that can be done without pushing a political or social agenda.

I would bet that, despite what Queerty claims, that most Gay people really do not want to indoctrinate anyone. And, I must ask here, if Gay people are “born Gay” why would any indoctrination be necessary? Most Gay folks likely want to live and be left alone. That is the problem with activists, they become obsessed with the issue they are advocating, and forget that most folks do not care about their obsession. That and most activists eventually become complete assholes consumed with their race, or sexual persuasion, or religion or whatever. And that turns most folks off.

This post brought to mind a gal I met back in 1993. We met at the bar at Ruby Tuesday in University Mall in Temple Terrace, Florida. This was before Ruby Tuesday was ruined by corporate douche bags that eventually ruin every good restaurant concept, but that is another post for another time. I lived within walking distance of the mall and went there quite a bit to watch football, drink a few beers, and meet friends. Anyway, one Sunday night, I was having a conversation about politics with some buddies, and our conversation turned to the born Gay or choose to be Gay question.

After a few minutes this girl, Julie, interrupted our conversation. She was obviously a Liberal, and thought she could get me to change my views by calling me on my “Homophobia”. Since I was always up for a debate, and since she looked very nice in a tight sweater, I took the bait and accepted her challenge. She first asked me what I would do if a guy sat beside me and put his hand on my thigh. I said “knock him on his ass” or words to that effect. She said “see, you are Homophobic!” I quickly asked her what she would do if a guy did the same to her. “Slap him” she said. Smiling I shot back, “well, that makes you a Heteraphobe then.” She sat there stunned for a second then said, “No, that is different”. “How so” I asked her “If I am wrong for rebuffing a sexual advance then so are you.” She did not know what to say. In her mind she wanted to argue, but she really couldn’t could she?

Julie, being a Liberal, could not stop there though. She tried to shift the conversation. She next asked me how many Gay people I thought there were. “Maybe 1 or 2 %” I answered. She, of course though that number much higher. She told me that simple having a fantasy, or a dream about a member of the same sex makes a person Gay or Lesbian. I thought for a second and looked at Julie. “So, if a Gay person has a dream about, or a fantasy about a Straight person, then they are Straight right?” Again, she was struck silent. No one had ever forced her to apply logic to her rhetoric before. Her feelings had never been challenged.

After a few more minutes, I offered to buy Julie a cocktail, which she accepted, she drank Amaretto sours if you must know. We talked about things non-political for a bit, then I decided to prod Julie a bit as I said goodnight. Looking deeply into her eyes, they were green, I said, “Julie, you are a pretty girl, let me take you out sometime.” Julie smiled, then said “Girl is a sexist word, I am a woman!” Now it was me who smiled “Julie, how dare you be insensitive to my culture?” She looked confused then I said “I am a Southerner, and we Southerners refer to young women as girls. it part of who we are.” Again, she did not know what to say. Having her “tolerance” turned against her was not something she was used to.

I dated Julie for about three months, much of that time we spend debating, and doing other things unmentionable here. In the end the relationship went stale, great sex, did I mention Julie had a variety of scented oils, costumes (the schoolgirl outfit was my favorite), and man could that girl tie some knots. But great sex by itself is not enough to sustain a relationship. I think about Julie sometimes, wondering what her ideology is today. I would bet she left her Liberal days behind, she was a smart girl, with a good heart. And, if Julie happens to read this, let me say thanks for the memories.

By the way, the hints as to our sex life might or might not be true. I just added them to be funny, and to piss off any Feminists or overly Social Conservatives who might read this. Offending them is one of my guilty pleasures.

NSA Bugged UN Headquarters In New York City According To Der Spiegel

NSA Bugged UN Headquarters In New York City, Claim New Documents Released By Ed Snowden – Daily Mail

The U.S. National Security Agency bugged the United Nations’ New York headquarters, Germany’s Der Spiegel weekly said on Sunday in a report on U.S. spying that could further strain relations between Washington and its allies.

.

Citing secret U.S. documents obtained by fugitive former intelligence contractor Edward Snowden, Der Spiegel said the files showed how the United States systematically spied on other states and institutions.

The UN did not directly comment on Monday on the hacking reports, saying only that international treaties protect its offices and all diplomatic missions from interference, spying and eavesdropping.

Der Spiegel said the European Union and the U.N.’s Vienna-based nuclear watchdog, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), were among those targeted by U.S. intelligence agents.

In the summer of 2012, NSA experts succeeded in getting into the U.N. video conferencing system and cracking its coding system, according one of the documents cited by Der Spiegel.

‘The data traffic gives us internal video teleconferences of the United Nations (yay!),’ Der Spiegel quoted one document as saying, adding that within three weeks the number of decoded communications rose to 458 from 12.

U.N. spokesman Farhan Haq said Monday that ‘the inviolability of diplomatic missions, including the United Nations and other international organizations, whose functions are protected by the relevant international conventions like the Vienna Convention, has been well-established international law.’

Haq added, ‘Therefore, member-states are expected to act accordingly to protect the inviolability of diplomatic missions.’

The 1961 Vienna Convention regulates diplomatic issues and status among nations and international organizations.

Among other things, it says a host country cannot search diplomatic premises or seize its documents or property.

It also says the host government must permit and protect free communication between the diplomats of the mission and their home country.

However, wiretapping and eavesdropping have been rampant for decades, most dramatically between the United States and the Soviet Union during the Cold War.

The report said internal files also show the NSA spied on the EU legation in New York after it moved to new rooms in autumn 2012. Among the documents copied by Snowden from NSA computers are plans of the EU mission, its IT infrastructure and servers.

According to the documents, the NSA runs a bugging program in more than 80 embassies and consulates worldwide called ‘Special Collection Service’. ‘The surveillance is intensive and well organized and has little or nothing to do with warding off terrorists,’ wrote Der Spiegel.

Snowden’s leaks have embarrassed the United States by exposing the global extent of its surveillance programs. Washington has said its spies operate within the law and that the leaks have damaged national security.

A week ago Britain, a staunch U.S. ally in the intelligence field, detained the partner of a Brazil-based journalist working for London’s Guardian newspaper who has led coverage of Snowden’s leaks. British police said documents seized from David Miranda were ‘highly sensitive’ and could put lives at risk if disclosed.

The Guardian last week destroyed computer equipment containing Snowden files after it was threatened with possible legal action by senior British government advisers.

In an open letter to British Prime Minister David Cameron published on Sunday, editors of leading Nordic newspapers said Miranda’s detention and moves against the Guardian were ‘undermining the position of the free press throughout the world’.

‘(We are) deeply concerned that a stout defender of democracy and free debate such as the United Kingdom uses anti-terror legislation in order to legalize what amounts to harassment of both the paper and individuals associated with it,’ said the letter from Sweden’s Dagens Nyheter, Finland’s Helsingin Sanomat, Denmark’s Politiken and Norway’s Aftenposten.

Earlier this month, U.S. President Barack Obama announced plans to limit U.S. government surveillance programs, saying the United States could and should be more transparent.

The issue has also become a hot topic in Germany before an election next month. Some reports have suggested that German intelligence agents have cooperated with U.S. spies.

There could be a voter backlash if it emerges that Chancellor Angela Merkel, tipped to win a third term, knew more about such cooperation than she has so far acknowledged.

Nanny Bloomberg now wants to ban E-cigarettes too

What a control freak.

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s crusade to rid the City of all things unhealthy has taken aim at various fattening foods and harmful products like cigarettes and trans fats. He even once tried – and failed – to ban large containers of soda within New York’s five boroughs.

But Bloomberg’s now gone a step further – not only does hizzonor not want you to smoke cigarettes, he doesn’t want you smoke fake cigarettes, either.

Recently leaked drafts of three tobacco-related bills that are expected to be introduced into the City Council indicate that Bloomberg’s planning to regulate e-cigs into extinction.

Basically, I would call Bloomberg a fanatic. Some people should never be in a position of power, he is one.

Your Blog Headline of the Day

I used to give this award out more often, but have been slacking on that as of late. today though, Donald Douglas posted THIS gem

Homosexuals Love Weiner!

Anthony Weiner came out for some gay pride love at the foreskin festival over the weekend.

At New York Magazine, “Anthony Weiner’s ‘Gay’ Pants Are the Talk of the Town.” And the New York Post, “Anthony Weiner in bid for gay vote as Christine Quinn wins major endorsement.”

A cock-waving adulterer? He should have the homosexual vote locked down!

Here are a couple of pics of Weiner, WITH pants thank God

Oh Goody, Bloomberg’s Douchebags to launch bus tour

How many gun grabbing Leftist douchebags can fit on one bus?

Via Politico:

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s anti-gun violence group is launching a cross-country bus tour this month as the next step in its push for stricter gun control measures.

Mayors Against Illegal Guns’ bus tour will start June 14 to mark the six-month anniversary of the Newtown, Conn. massacre, taking gun violence survivors, their families and friends and law enforcement officials to 25 states in 100 days, according to a job posting by the group.

The Bloomberg-funded group has purchased airtime to hammer lawmakers on both sides of the aisle who voted against legislation to expand background checks. A $400,000 ad buy this week pummeled Sen. Kelly Ayotte (R-N.H.) for her vote against the gun control bill that died in the Senate, quoting a police chief who said she was “making us less safe.”

I wonder if they will make it to Dallas? Maybe I can give them a piece of my mind

Score one for common sense

I write a lot about bad laws, laws the like the inane gun control laws recently passed in New York and Colorado. As much as I, and anyone else who grasps the concept of liberty would love to see these laws repealed, and the Statists who passed them throw from office, we can at least take some solace from those who take stands against such laws. Such is the case of a Columbia County DA, who is refusing to prosecute a man for having two too many bullets in his gun

Columbia County District Attorney is showing the sort of intestinal fortitude that died in Albany and New York City long ago, and has effectively told Mayor Mike Bloomberg, Governor Andrew Cuomo, and the treasonous legislature to get bent:

The Columbia County District Attorney is making good on a promise not to prosecute a man arrested under the SAFE Act.

DA Paul Czajka told News Channel 13 he would not prosecute Gregory Dean Jr.

Dean was pulled over earlier this month after police say the light over his license plate was out.

Police say he also had a gun in his car.

While they say it was possessed legally, it had nine rounds of ammunition, which exceeds the state’s new limit of seven rounds.

Good for this man, we need more like him
