Rep. Frank Lucas Is A Robot Body Double Claims ‘Human’ Primary Challenger Timothy Ray Murray

Oklahoma Congressman Is A Robot Body Double, Claims ‘Human’ Challenger – Washington Post

.

…………………………….Timothy Ray Murray, human

.
The robot takeover has begun, at least according to Timothy Ray Murray, who lost the election for Oklahoma’s 3rd district (obtaining just 5.2 percent of the vote) to incumbent Frank Lucas (R). Murray is now planning to challenge the election results, on the grounds that his opponent has been replaced by a robot body double.

Murray’s Web site notes that “The election for U.S. House for Oklahoma’s 3rd District will be contested by the Candidate, Timothy Ray Murray. I will be stating that his votes are switched with Rep. Lucas votes, because it is widely known Rep. Frank D. Lucas is no longer alive and has been displayed by a look alike. Rep. Lucas’ look alike was depicted as sentenced on a white stage in southern Ukraine on or about Jan. 11, 2011.”

(Lucas told news channel KFOR that he had never in fact been to Ukraine. He also observed: “Many things have been said about me, said to me during course of my campaigns. This is the first time I’ve ever been accused of being a body double or a robot.”)

Murray’s Web site goes on to reassure us that: “I, Timothy Ray Murray, am a human, born in Oklahoma, and obtained and continue to fully meet the requirements to serve as U.S. Representative when honored to so. I will never use a look alike…” This makes me wonder. “I’m definitely a human,” like “I am very suave and good at talking to people,” is the sort of statement that seems untrue the instant you say it.

Oklahoma Governor Signs Bill To Repeal And Replace Common Core

Oklahoma Gives The Boot To Common Core: Governor Signs Bill To Repeal And Replace It – Independent Journal Review

Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin has signed a bill that withdraws Oklahoma from the national Common Core standards. Not only is Oklahoma withdrawing from Common Core, but the new law stipulates that the new state standards must be sufficiently unlike the Common Core standards in order to prevent the readoption of Common Core under a different name.

.

.
Governor Fallin had this statement about why Oklahoma decided to withdraw from Common Core.

Unfortunately, federal overreach has tainted Common Core. President Obama and Washington bureaucrats have usurped Common Core in an attempt to influence state education standards. The results are predictable.

What should have been a bipartisan policy is now widely regarded as the president’s plan to establish federal control of curricula, testing and teaching strategies. We cannot ignore the widespread concern of citizens, parents, educators and legislators who have expressed fear that adopting Common Core gives up local control of Oklahoma’s public schools.

The words ‘Common Core’ in Oklahoma are now so divisive that they have become a distraction that interferes with our mission of providing the best education possible for our children. If we are going to improve our standards in the classroom, now is the time to get to work.

In typical “never let a crisis go to waste” fashion, the Obama administration is trying to nationalize education through Common Core. The Obama administration has been tying education funding to the adoption of Common Core. Common Core seems to overly complicate math problems, among many other flaws.

Oklahoma intends to revert to the Oklahoma Priority Academic Student Skills until new standards are drawn up, while drawing up its own standards to be more rigorous than Common Core.

Hey Sooners, you might want to vote for this young Conservative

Please take a look at T.W. Shannon for U.S. Senate Here is his stance on gun rights

I have always been an advocate for the Second Amendment in the Oklahoma State House. As House speaker, our chamber passed more legislation than ever before to protect these rights. I believe gun ownership is a fundamental right that pre-dates the U.S. Constitution, but that the founders specifically provided for in the Second Amendment. I am strongly opposed to placing regulations on U.S. gun manufacturers, and will continue to protect the rights of hunters, sportsmen, and all gun owners.

On States Rights

To limit the growth of the federal government, the drafters of the Constitution made it plain that the powers of the federal government are to be limited to those specifically named in the Constitution. It reserves to the states, and the people thereof, all powers not specifically delegated to the federal government. As the leading voice in state government for championing states’ rights, I formed the first ever States’ Rights Committee to advance the concept that we as Oklahomans have a Constitutional duty to push back against an overreaching federal government. I am a strong believer in preserving the powers intended for the states. I will work hard to keep the federal government from amassing power in Washington and to restore the powers that belong to the states.

On ObamaCare

Senator Tom Coburn has been an expert in this field and I will follow his lead, working to replace ObamaCare with free market solutions that lower costs and encourage competition.Government intervention has broken the health-care system. Costs are rising at unacceptable rates and too many people are losing the quality health-care plans they had. ObamaCare cannot work because it puts Washington bureaucrats between the patient and the doctor, which is why I strongly oppose it. I will fight to replace ObamaCare with free-market driven solutions that lower costs, reduce red tape and encourage competition. As speaker of the Oklahoma House, I worked to restrict the further expansion of government-provided insurance, blocking what would have been a massive expansion of a new program. America can start addressing its health-care problems when it puts patients and physicians in charge of health-care decisions instead of bureaucrats.

He sounds good on all the issues, and deserves serious consideration for the Senate. Best of luck to him, sounds like a good man Here he is on Fox and Friends

Westboro Batshit Church Gets Chased Out Of Oklahoma Town In Under 10 Minutes

Westboro Baptist Church Gets Chased Out Of Town In Under 10 Minutes – Conservative Tribune

You’d think that with the death of Pastor Fred Phelps the Westboro Baptist Church would grow a little quieter for a while, but they have kept their obnoxious and hateful protest speeches going strong.

.

.
They recently showed up in Moore, Oklahoma, the site of a deadly F5 tornado that killed 24 and injured 377 just last year, urging them to “repent” for their “sins” that God was “punishing” them for.

The townspeople would have none of it. They immediately ran WBC protesters out of town… in less than 10 minutes.

Via E! Online:

The WBC was set to protest Moore, Okla. this week. They’ve protested the town thrice before, and this time they were arriving with their “God Hates Fags!” signs, because, as they explain:

God has given Moore, Oklahoma many chances to repent…On 5/2/13, God struck Moore with an EF5 tornado, killing 24, injuring 377 others, including many of your children…Not once did a single voice [besides WBC] say, Repent! Mourn for your sins! Obey God! Because you phony salt-of-the-eart-small-town-pseydo-patriot-pretend-Christians LOVE YOUR SIN MORE THAN YOUR LIFE, AND HAVE NOTHING BUT HATE IN YOUR HEARTS FOR EACH OTHER.

They also claim that Moore mocked the recent death of former WBC leader Fred Phelps. But what WBC obviously did not expect was to be met with another protest: Thousands of Moore residents gathered with their own signs and flags. A protest against the protest.

The WBC’s protest was supposed to be 30 minutes – they had a permit to “picket the slow learners” (their words) outside Central Junior High. That’s right: They were picketing a middle school (but would anything about WBC surprise you at this point?)

They only made it eight minutes in before “hastily getting into their cars and driving away” as Moore citizens pressed the protest lines, Huffington Post explains. The end of the short-lived protest was captured in this video by Matt Ramsey.

.

.
Fantastic. The citizens of Moore are patriots for running these hateful, bigoted, anti-military, anti-American protesters out of town. If we had more people stand up and do what these townspeople did, Westboro would have a tough time descending on just anywhere with their signs and their vile speech to intimidate and demean others.

Share this article on Facebook and Twitter if you’re glad to see Westboro run out of town, and hope others would do what these townspeople did.

Liberals celebrate idiocy, hail noted moron Brian Beutler

Stacy McCain sums up salon writer Beutler, and his column of lies to perfection

Brian Beutler is hailed by his fellow liberals as a genius — a man of brilliant insight — for exactly one reason: He is a liberal.

And he expects us lowly mortals to be impressed.

Here is more from The Other McCain I am giving you almost the entire fisking McCain does on Bong Boy Beutler because, well it is dead on, funny, and well worth your read.

The right’s black crime obsession

Conservative media’s total fixation on black-on-black
and black-on-white crime isn’t going to end. Here’s why

(We may derive the intent from the headline: “The right” is conflated with “Conservative media,” because everyone who votes Republican does so because Bill O’Reilly and Rush Limbaugh have told them to. This is therefore the umpteenth journalistic reiteration of the Media Matters daily mantra about the illegitimacy of conservative media.)

BY BRIAN BEUTLER

(Prepare for deliberate dishonesty.)

There are a few black people up to no good in this country and Fox News is on it! So is Drudge Report. Vigilantly on the lookout, 24 hours a day, for stories about black youths behaving badly.

(Didn’t I warn you? Beutler starts lying right off the bat, assuming a liberal readership who never actually watch Fox News and who are too lazy even to bother checking the Drudge Report.)

This isn’t a particularly new phenomenon, but it’s intensified noticeably in the past year for at least two reasons. Conservatives, particularly white conservatives, feel a burning urgency to find a racial counterweight to the aftermath of Trayvon Martin’s shooting (including President Obama’s public comments about the incident), a logical response to the argument that things like background checks and an assault weapons ban are appropriate ways to reduce the likelihood of another Sandy Hook-style massacre, and anecdotal justifications for indiscriminate policing of dangerous neighborhoods.

(This has “intensified noticeably in the past year,” which means since August 2012. Is it true that “white conservatives” actually do feel the “burning urgency” Beutler attributes to them? Or is this just another tendentious assertion he pulled out of his ass? Certainly I feel no such urgency, but maybe someone else does.)

But these are hopeless pursuits. The incidents they draw attention to fail by definition to underscore the things they believe. They all require projecting motives or details or both into tragic events, to create false dichotomies between shootings perpetrated by whites and blacks. They have the unhealthy effect of creating dueling tallies of white-on-black and black-on-white crime. And ironically they all tend to underscore the argument that more “stand your ground” laws and more racial profiling are off-point responses to these incidents.

(Do you see how this is going to go? Brian Beutler asserts that conservatives hold certain beliefs, and then asserts that facts don’t support those beliefs. And notice Brian Beutler says conservatives are “projecting motives,” which Brian Beutler never does!)

The latest conservative cri de coeur is over the tragic shooting death of Chris Lane, a 22-year-old Australian attending East Central University in Oklahoma on a baseball scholarship. Two teen boys spotted Lane on a jog last week, trailed him in a car, and allegedly shot him fatally in the back (a third teen reportedly served as their driver). One of the suspects said the boys committed the murder out of boredom.

(This is merely the “latest” such incident — i.e., in which conservatives are alleged to have done what Brian Beutler says they do — but what was the one before Chris Lane? I don’t remember it, but maybe Brian Beutler could, if he chose, rattle off a long list of incidents like this which, so he says, “conservative media” have hyped for the reasons that he says they’re hyping such incidents. He doesn’t actually provide a list, however, so readers are supposed to take Brian Beutler’s word that this is actually a phenomenon.)

Word of the shooting spread quickly. And that’s when the right clumsily revealed that its obsession with gun violence reflects an obsession with racial score settling rather than with averting further tragedies. The conservative media, including Fox News, repeated the claim that the Oklahoma suspects were all black. But this turned out to be a toxic mix of racial bias and wishful thinking. You almost wonder whether the people whose ulterior motives led them into error like this actually lamented the fact that one of the suspects happened to be white. It would be so much more convenient if that weren’t the case.

(When did Fox News, or anyone else, do what Brian Beutler says they did, claiming that the “suspects were all black”? I mean, maybe they did — I haven’t paid any attention to this story — although I don’t see Beutler linking to a source, or quoting anyone. But once again, Beutler assumes a liberal readership that never watches Fox News, so he could say anything about the network’s programming and his ignorant readers would have no choice but to accept his assertions.)

But let’s pretend for a minute that the suspects had all fit the stereotype the hosts at Fox and Friends wanted. Then the idea is that Chris Lane’s death should somehow offset Trayvon Martin’s, or that the people who sought to turn George Zimmerman’s actions into a national referendum on “stand your ground” laws are somehow hypocritical for having little to say when the races of the culprits and innocent victims are reversed. For reactionary Obama foes like former Rep. Allen West, R-Fla., the obvious question is, “Whom will POTUS identify w/this time?”

(The link to the Tweet by Allen West is THE ONLY LINK IN THIS ENTIRE COLUMN. Isn’t Salon.com, y’know, one of those Internet kind of things, where political bloggers routinely link to their sources, so as not to give the appearance that they’re just pulling stuff out of their ass or, as some call it, “doing a Beutler”?)

I’ll give West, et al., this: If you ignore motive, circumstance, history and (likely ) outcome, then liberals, particularly black liberals, sure seem craven. By that standard, though, Jean Valjean and John, King of England are moral equals — just a couple of guy s with similar names taking other people’s property.

(Does that paragraph mean anything? Anything at all?)

So let’s review: George Zimmerman wouldn’t have shot Trayvon Martin if he hadn’t been profiling by race. And even if he had been, the shooting feasibly wouldn’t have happened if he hadn’t been legally allowed to carry a handgun and didn’t think he was empowered by law to take matters into his own hands. The monstrous killing of Chris Lane has no such back story. The killers apparently had no motive whatsoever, were armed illegally, and certainly weren’t trailing Lane because they believed, based on his race, that he might be a criminal. They are, however, likely to face serious prison time for their crimes. Zimmerman walked.

(And here, evidently too stoned to realize it, Beutler actually proves a point — a conservative point — about crime: People get shot to death all the time, for all kinds of reasons, or for no reason at all, and no policy advocated by liberals is going to prevent this from happening. Zimmerman shooting Trayvon? You can call that “racial profiling” or you can call it a tragic misunderstanding, but exactly how do you propose to prevent it from happening? “Zimmerman walked” because he had a claim of self-defense sufficiently plausible to constitute “reasonable doubt.” Also, notice that, while admitting that the teenagers in the Chris Lane shooting were illegally armed, Brian Beutler assumes that if Zimmerman “hadn’t been legally allowed to carry a handgun,” Zimmerman would not have also illegally armed himself. Why assume that? And what about Trayvon’s “whoop-ass” beating of Zimmerman, which Zimmerman said he thought might end in his own death? Would Brian Beutler have been happy to have Trayvon beat Zimmerman to death?)

Put that all together, and it turns out these stories aren’t counter-parallel at all. And more to the point, the events don’t even anecdotally augur for policies the right supports. The kids in Oklahoma weren’t “standing their ground,” and a “stand your ground” law wouldn’t have saved Chris Lane. Neither would a stop-and-frisk regime — the killers were trailing him in a car. By contrast, a “stand your ground” environment and a stop-and-frisk mentality were instrumental in Trayvon Martin’s death. Take either away , and there’s a good chance he’d be alive today. Martin in fact personified the statistical folly of stop-and-frisk. If Zimmerman had yielded to real police, they would have, in absence of any suspicious behavior, stopped Martin, frisked him and found only the skittles and iced tea that made his death that much more tragically poignant.

(Again, it is only Brian Beutler’s assertion that the Chris Lane murder is being reported because “conservative media” believe the story supports a policy argument. My own guess is that after the incessant 24/7 media drumbeat about the Zimmerman trial, which liberals claimed was an event fraught with political significance, some “conservative media” basically decided, “Hey, we’re going to stop downplaying or ignoring black-on-white crime, just to make a point.” But that’s merely my guess. Unlike Brian Beutler, I don’t possess any clairvoyant mind-reading powers that enable me to know why Fox News producers or Matt Drudge do what they do.)

You could twist that into a claim that stop-and-frisk might have saved Martin’s life. But that gets the onus backward. Proponents of profiling policies need to do better than argue we have to violate the civil rights of minorities in order to protect them from hair-triggered vigilantes.

(The “stop-and-frisk” thing is strictly an issue in New York, because of an NYPD policy that was declared unconstitutional by a federal judge. It has nothing to do with Oklahoma and even less to do with Sanford, Florida. Why Brian Beutler keeps bringing it up, I don’t know. Has the “stop-and-frisk” issue has been discussed by anyone at Fox News in the context of the Chris Lane murder? If it has, then why doesn’t he quote that discussion? In general, why are there no links or quotes in this column? Why can’t Brian Beutler be bothered to provide actual evidence of the phenomenon he presumes to critique? Why do liberals think it’s acceptable to assert controversial claims that they don’t bother to prove? How many bong-hits does Brian Beutler usually do before writing his columns? Seven. That’s  now an established fact — because I just asserted it, see?)

What might well have stopped both killings, though, is making it harder for people, legally or illegally, to come into possession of handguns. That’s a conversation the right is less obsessed with.

(Again with the assertion: People who Brian Beutler doesn’t like are “obsessed,” or they “ feel a burning urgency,” or have an “obsession with gun violence” and “an obsession with racial score settling,” or are motivated by “racial bias and wishful thinking.” Over and over again — pausing only to take another bong hit — Beutler attributes irrational motives to antagonists for doing what he asserts they are doing, although he merely asserts this without providing any actual evidence of it. There are no quotes from Fox News broadcasts in Brian Beutler’s column, no links to transcripts. It’s just a straight-up rant that was written only because Brian Beutler is supposed to write a certain number of columns per week for Salon and, because he never does any reporting or, for that matter, much of anything that could be called “research,” he just sat down, toked up a few bowls of sinsemilla and let it rip, right off the top of his head.)

What wretched beasts Democrats are

Here they come folks, the tragedy pimps, using the Oklahoma tornado to push their global warming BS. As Limbaugh said on his show today, global warming, or climate change, is not at all about science, it is all about politics. And to moral retards like Barbara Boxer, all is fair in politics

Via Daily Caller:

California Democratic Sen. Barbara Boxer blamed the tornado that devastated Oklahoma on global warming during a Senate floor speech Tuesday, using the opportunity to push her own plan to tax carbon dioxide emissions.

“This is climate change,” Boxer said. “This is climate change. We were warned about extreme weather: Not just hot weather, but extreme weather. When I had my hearings, when I had the gavel years ago — it’s been a while — the scientists all agreed that what we’d start to see was extreme weather.”

Of course, wild fires, hurricanes, and tornadoes are not new, they have been happening for a long long time, but, I guess these cretins will say anything as long as they can raise more revenue.

“Carbon could cost us the planet,” Boxer added, plugging her own carbon tax bill, co-sponsored by Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders. “The least we could do is put a little charge on it so people move to clean energy.”

See! Tornadoes will be sweeter and kinder if we all pay more for “clean energy”. Horse shit!

Speaking of great piles of feces, David Sirota is blaming the GOP for the tornado

Via Salon:

With GOP-backed cuts to forecasting agency, experts warn future storms will go undetected and more lives lost.

Was the severe weather system culminating in yesterday’s Oklahoma City tornado intensified – or even created – by climate change? That question will almost certainly bebatted back and forth in the media over the next few days. After all, there is plenty of scientific evidence that climate change intensifies weather in general, but there remainlegitimate questions about how – and even if – it intensifies tornadoes in specific.

One thing, however, that shouldn’t be up for debate is whether or not we should be as prepared as possible for inevitable weather events like tornadoes. We obviously should be – but there’s an increasing chance that we will not be thanks to the manufactured crisis known as sequestration.

As the Federal Times recently reported, sequestration includes an 8.2 percent cut to the National Weather Service. According to the organization representing weather service employees, that means there is “no way for the agency to maintain around-the-clock operations at its 122 forecasting offices” and also means “people are going to be overworked, they’re going to be tired, they’re going to miss warnings.”

Summarizing the problem, the American Institute of Physics put it bluntly: “The government runs the risk of significantly increasing forecast error and, the government’s ability to warn Americans across the country about high impact weather events, such as hurricanes and tornadoes, will be compromised.”

See, it is all fair game for playing politics. EVERYTHING is to be blamed on your political opposites. No wonder ass hats like Sirota are always so nasty.

Oklahoma lowers death toll to 24

Let’s all pray for the lowest total possible

Nearly 24 hours after a monster tornado tore through a suburb of Oklahoma City, leaving at least 24 dead — including nine children — hopes for a rescue of trapped survivors are beginning to wane as more threatening weather moves into the region.

“We will rebuild and we will regain our strength,” said Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin, who went on a flyover of the area and described it as a “heartbreaking experience” that is “hard to look at.”

The Storm Prediction Center in Norman, Okla., forecast more stormy weather Tuesday in parts of Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana and Oklahoma, including the Moore area.

Rescue crews are sifting through rubble in the search for survivors, painting X’s on buildings to make sure nothing is being overlooked.

“As long as we are here … we are going to hold out hope that we will find survivors,” said Trooper Betsy Randolph, a spokeswoman for the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. But officials believe more bodies are underneath the rubble.

“I truly expect that they’ll find more today,” Oklahoma City Medical Examiner Office Spokeswoman Amy Elliott said.

Elliott cautioned Tuesday that officials could see as many as 40 additional fatalities, and Fallin said that bodies may have been taken to funeral homes instead of authorities.

Just keep praying people, and give aid in any other way that you can. And to those under tornado watches and warnings today, as my family and I am, be prepared.

At least 91 dead in Moore Oklahoma tornado tragedy

As I said yesterday, there are no words

At least 91 people were killed in the devastating tornado yesterday in Moore, Oklahoma. That number is expected to rise.

KFOR reported:

Officials have confirmed at least 91 people have been killed in the Moore tornado Monday.

The medical examiner’s office confirmed at least 233 people have been injured.

That number is expected to rise as recovery efforts continue Tuesday morning and daylight arrives.

The tornado claimed an unconfirmed number of children at Moore’s Plaza Towers Elementary.

Also among those killed, a family of four with a baby near 4th St. and Telephone Rd. in Moore.

Officials said the family tried to take shelter in a freezer.

100 survivors were rescued over night, please continue to pray

Just awful, tornado wipes out town of Moore, Oklahoma, death toll at 51

Oh Dear Lord this is terrible. Pray for the people in that town as the death toll could go higher

A monstrous tornado at least a half-mile wide roared through the Oklahoma City suburbs Monday, flattening entire neighborhoods and destroying an elementary school with a direct blow as children and teachers huddled against winds up to 200 mph. At least 51 people were killed, and officials said the death toll was expected to rise.

The storm laid waste to scores of buildings in Moore, a community of 41,000 people south of the city. Block after block lay in ruins. Homes were crushed into piles of broken wood. Cars and trucks were left crumpled on the roadside.

The National Weather Service issued an initial finding that the tornado was an EF-4 on the enhanced Fujita scale, the second most-powerful type of twister.

Watch a pair of incredible time-lapse footage of the tornado here.

Authorities expected the death toll to rise as emergency crews moved deeper into the hardest-hit areas. More than 120 people were being treated at hospitals, including about 70 children.

There are no words to express my grief and horror.

Ellis County Homeowner Exchanges Gunfire With Intruders – KXAS

Authorities have confirmed that the two people fatally shot in Ellis County during a violent home invasion Wednesday were two teenagers wanted in Oklahoma.

The Pottawatomie County, Okla., Sheriff’s Office confirmed late Wednesday night that Kenneth Chaffin, 17, and Dillon King, 18, were killed south of Maypearl.

Ellis County investigators earlier said that the duo appeared to have died of self-inflicted gunshot wounds while exchanging gunfire with the homeowner.

The Ellis County Sheriff’s Office said a homeowner in the 2100 block of Bee Creek Road exchanged gunfire with the two men. Investigators said his wife called him as he was pulling up to his home and said she saw two armed men trying to enter their house through the back door.

The homeowner ran inside, got his gun and then exchanged gunfire with the men.

Ellis County Sheriff Lt. James Saulter said the homeowner shot one man, but that it appears both died of self-inflicted gunshot wounds.

The homeowner sustained a superficial wound and was treated and released by paramedics on the scene.

The Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office said Chaffin allegedly stole nine handguns, six rifles and two shotguns, as well as more than 1,000 rounds of ammunition.

Saulter said deputies found a red pickup truck 200 meters from the home that was stolen in Oklahoma. A Pottawatomie County undersheriff told NBC affiliate KFOR-TV that Chaffin stole the pickup.

Deputies also found several weapons on Chaffin and King and in the pickup.

The medical examiner will determine their causes of death.

Saulter said the homeowner would not face charges in the incident.

How would this story have ended in Liberal Utopian America?

Likely not very well

A group of college students said they are lucky to be alive and they’re thanking the quick-thinking of one of their own. Police said a fellow student shot and killed one of two masked me who burst into an apartment.

Channel 2 Action News reporter Tom Jones met with one of the students to talk about the incident.

“Apparently, his intent was to rape and murder us all,” said student Charles Bailey.

Bailey said he thought it was the end of his life and the lives of the 10 people inside his apartment for a birthday party after two masked men with guns burst in through a patio door.

“They just came in and separated the men from the women and said, ‘Give me your wallets and cell phones,’” said George Williams of the College Park Police Department.

Bailey said the gunmen started counting bullets. “The other guy asked how many (bullets) he had. He said he had enough,” said Bailey.

That’s when one student grabbed a gun out of a backpack and shot at the invader who was watching the men. The gunman ran out of the apartment.

The student then ran to the room where the second gunman, identified by police as 23-year-old Calvin Lavant, was holding the women.

“Apparently the guy was getting ready to rape his girlfriend. So he told the girls to get down and he started shooting. The guy jumped out of the window,” said Bailey.

How about this story?

Via Time:

A 12-year-old Oklahoma girl took extreme measures to protect herself when an unfamiliar man broke into her home last Wednesday. The girl, who was home alone during a day off from school, shot and wounded the home intruder, local NBC affiliate KTEN News reports.

Kendra St. Clair, was home by herself when a man rang the doorbell to her Bryan County, Okla., home. She didn’t answer, so the trespasser walked to the back of the house and kicked open a door. St. Clair called her mother, who advised her to grab the family’s gun and hide, according to an interview she gave to local broadcaster KFOR-TV. Authorities said that the girl found the gun and took shelter in a bathroom closet.

“I was sitting there in the closet, really scared, holding the gun, not knowing what was going to happen,” St. Clair told KFOR-TV.
I want to hear from these gun grabbing zealots on this. You want to ban guns, you want them locked up, so it takes the person, in this case a child, minutes to get the gun unlocked?

Obama Care is like a steel toed boot to the nuts of working Americans!

I once wrote that Democrats are the single worst enemy of working Americans. Sad to say, I hate being right sometimes.

Via Twitchy:

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi famously said of Obamacare: “We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what’s in it.

Nearly three years later, many Americans are beginning to discover what’s in it.

Taco Bell employees in Oklahoma City, Okla., found out.

Wendy’s employees in Obama, Neb., found out.

And now many other low-wage workers (and their relatives) are finding out, too.

Thank you Obama care for cutting my son’s hours @ work. He is working @ McDonald’s w/ 38 hours a week now 28. He will be job hunting now

2 of my daughters got their hours cut below 30 hours bc of obamacare.

@BarackObama my paycheck got smaller and my sons hours got cut back becuase of obamacare. you were to help the middle class not destroy it!

Add to this increasing health insurance premiums, and you REALLY get an idea of how disastrous this bill will be when it takes full effect. Which reminds me of something I need to say. Fuck You Chief Justice Useful Idiot John Roberts

OK, college football bowl game time begins in two weeks here are your matchups

First, before we get to all the bowls, and my picks, I think the suckage from the BCS reached historic proportions this year. Northern Illinois will play in the Orange Bowl, despite a # 15 ranking, and will get plowed by Florida State. Look, I salute the Huskies for winning the MAC great! But seriously, the BCS passed on Georgia, LSU, Texas A&M, South Carolina, Oklahoma, AND Clemson to choose Northern Illinois? Of course that was not the only issue with the BCS, all those teams that were passed over were also passed over so #21 Louisville could go play my Gators in the Sugar Bowl? #21 playing #3? Yes, I know, Louisville won the Big East, well actually they finished in  a four-way tie, so they get an automatic bid. Come on! Winning the Big East is like winning an ass kicking contest against a one-legged man. Of course, the BCS rule that only two teams from the same conference can play in BCS bowls is idiotic. And boy, did the SEC get screwed by that rule. We have six of the top ten teams, but only two my Gtaors, and Alabama, who will beat Notre Dame like a rented mule, get BCS bowls? Oh, by the way, Wisconsin, who is not even ranked “won” the Big Ten so they get the Rose Bowl? Again SCREW YOU Georgia, LSU, Texas A&M, South Carolina, Oklahoma, AND Clemson!

Excuse me for a second but we now have 10 slots for the five BCS bowls, we have a ranking system. Why not use that ranking system to put the top ten teams in those games? Yes, OF COURSE! That would make too much sense, what was I thinking? I cannot wait for 2014, when we go to a four team playoff. I wonder how the powers that be will make a mockery of that?

Now, on to the bowls, which start December 15 in the GILDAN NEW MEXICO BOWL where Arizona and Nevada will hook up! Go with Zona there. Also that day We get the bowl with the most idiotic name the FAMOUS IDAHO POTATO BOWL( and you thought the old Poulan Weed-Eater Bowl was bad) with Toledo and Utah State. Go Utah State Aggies on this one.

On to December 20, when we get the SAN DIEGO COUNTY CREDIT UNION POINSETTIA BOWL (maybe I said the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl was the worst named bowl too soon?) where BYU and and San Diego Stare hook up. Go Aztces here!

The next night we get the BEEF ‘O’ BRADY’S BOWL, in St. Petersburg Florida. With Central Florida and Ball State playing. Go UCF here! As a side note, Beef O’Bradys is now a national chain, but once it was one location, on Kings Avenue in Brandon Florida, and they had the BEST wings evah! I remember because I may, or may not have gotten sloshed there.

On to Dec 22 when we get East Carolina vs. Louisiana-Lafayette in the R+L CARRIERS NEW ORLEANS BOWL go with La Laf  here and Washington vs. No. 19 Boise State in the MAACO BOWL Boise is the good choice there

Then, Christmas Eve we get treated to the SHERATON HAWAII BOWL featuring Fresno State vs. Southern Methodist. Go Fresno here

Then, on the 26th, in case you are craving REALLY awful pizza, tune in to Western Kentucky vs. Central Michigan squaring off in the LITTLE CAEASARS BOWL! Go with Central Michigan and LOTS of Maalox here!

Next comes December 27, and three bowls to feast on. In the MILITARY BOWL – PRESENTED BY NORTHROP GRUMMAN we get San Jose State vs. Bowling Green. Go San Jose here

In the BELK BOWL, yes, they really are going with that name. Cincinati and Duke clash. If you just watch one bowl game this year, please do not let this be the one. Bearcats win

In the legendary BRIDGEPOINT EDUCATION HOLIDAY BOWL UCLA and Baylor match up in what ought to be a great one. Go with UCLA in a shootout

On to December 28th and Ohio and Louisiana-Monroe in the AdvoCare V100 INDEPENDENCE BOWL. What is advocare? How should I know. why should you care. Go with Monroe here

Then check out the RUSSELL ATHLETIC BOWL featuring Rutgers and Virginia Tech, which Rutgers will win.

Next, Minnesota and Texas Tech meet in the MEINEKE CAR CARE BOWL OF TEXAS. I think you can get a free tune up at halftime or something. Tech should take this one.

On the 29th, in the ARMED FORCES BOWL, Rice and Air Force meet. Let’s see Air Force or Rice? In the Armed Forces Bowl? Go with the team with jets and missiles

Then, in what could be a high scoring affair Syracuse and West Virginia meet up in the NEW ERA PINSTRIPE BOWL. Dumb name, good game, Mountaineers roll.

Next, if hunger strikes you watch the KRAFT FIGHT HUNGER BOWL, they were going to call it the Kraft Hopes You Starve Bowl, but that got nixed. Anyway Navy and Arizona State clash. Go with the Sun Devils.

In what ought to be a fine game at the VALERO ALAMO BOWL it is #23 Texas vs. No. 13 Oregon State. Tough call but I say Beavers rule.

Wrapping up that Saturdays slate is the BUFFALO WILD WINGS BOWL with TCU vs. Michigan State. Go with TCU, and the Asian Zing sauce with this one

Enough for now, I will post the rest of these bowl games tomorrow.

God bless Oklahoma!

No, not the Sooners, the state of Oklahoma, for recognizing the God-given right to carry a firearm!

Gov. Mary Fallin signed into law Tuesday a measure that allows Oklahomans to openly carry handguns.

The measure, Senate Bill 1733, allows those who are licensed to carry a firearm under the Oklahoma Self Defense Act a choice: to openly carry a weapon or conceal it.

It also allows a property owner to openly carry a handgun on his or her land. No concealed carry permit would be required.

To receive a license under the Oklahoma Self Defense Act, applicants must take a firearms safety and training course and submit to a background check by the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation. Those convicted of felonies and certain misdemeanors may not receive a handgun license.

The measure takes effect Nov. 1.

Oh, the gun grabbers will whine about this, they hate the right for citizens to be armed, and the right to self-defense which is so closely tied to it!

And Your Nanny Statist of the Day is……….

Mayor Doucheberg!

Every single menu in New York City could soon be getting a major overhaul if Mayor Michael Bloomberg has his way.

The man behind calorie counts is set to announce a new public health initiative to battle obesity, taking aim at super-sized sugary drinks.

In other words, it may soon be time to say goodbye to those Big Gulps, those Slurpees or even Venti at Starbucks, CBS 2’s Derricke Dennis reported.

“That’s okay,” one person said.

No it’s not, according to Mayor Bloomberg, who is set to propose a ban on sugary drinks over 16 ounces everywhere, all across the city.

“I disagree with it, because it’s the right to choose. If you want to drink a Slurpee, you should be allowed to drink a Slurpee,” said Jamie Sawyer, a tourist from Oklahoma.

Can we just trade New York, Bloomberg and the sheeple who keep electing him to Canada for some maple syrup? Good grief!

Does Depends make an adult diaper for this?

Man, talk about embarrassing! Nothing will ruin your day like a meth lab exploding in your pants!

OKMULGEE COUNTY, Oklahoma – A portable meth lab exploded in a Mounds man’s pants early Friday morning as he struggled with an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says meth was leaking down Davis Williams’ leg as he tried to run away from a trooper just after midnight.

“After a brief struggle it was determined there was an active meth lab in his pants that burst during the struggle and got all over his body,” said OHP trooper Shiloh Hall.

That gigantic pop you just heard? That was my head exploding

Maggies Notebook has the story, and frankly, what can I say? This is the most indefensible ruling I could ever imagine. For any judge, or court to rule that Sharia Law, or ANY law other than  federal, or in this case Oklahoma law, should be considered in any court case is simply terrifying to me

An Oklahoma judge, the infamous Vicki Miles-LaGrange, and the 10th Federal Court of Appeals in Denver are preventing the banning of Sharia Law in the State of Oklahoma (State Question 755). The Council on American Islamic Relation’s (CAIR) Muneer Awad believes the ban violates his First Amendment Rights. State Attorney General Scott Pruitt believes states have the right to establish their own court systems and which laws are followed, and the Courts believe the Oklahoma amendment singles out Islam only, ignoring that International Law is also cited. The case now returns to the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma to determine its constitutionality.

Ah, again, how does this violate freedom of religion? We judge court cases the law, not by any religion. Just imagine how the very same people who brought this suit would be acting if the Bible were being used.
