Amanda Marcotte is to crazy what Bloomberg is to Nannyism

Just briefly noted last night that The Beast Who Wears Bangs had made an obnoxious fool of herself blaming pro-lifers for the heinous crimes of Kermit Gosnell, but even I didn’t really expect that she would be so eager to double down on bloodthirsty stupidity:

In this rhetorical formulation, the normal and expected reaction to pregnancy is to seek an abortion, so that “women” exist only insofar as they are defined by their right to abortion choice.

This conveniently defines out of existence any woman who is pro-life: To be a woman is to be pro-abortionchoice.

In this bizarre Manichean dualism, there are only (a) people who share Amanda Marcotte’s gruesome death-fetish for maximizing the number of abortions, and (b) people who hate women.

McCain opines that Marcotte is trying desperately to rationalize the grotesque brutality that Kermit Gosnell committed somehow. Gosnell is not really to blame in Marcotte’s warped world. No, it is pro-lifers who are to blame somehow. I find it revealing in a way. Marcotte is deeply indoctrinated in radical Feminism that she cannot even make a reasonable moral judgement anymore. She is so eaten up with bitterness and hatred that she has lost all abilities to look at evil and identify it as evil. 

 

Pro-Choice? Or Pro-Genocide?

Every once in a while a Leftist allows their mask to slip. Matt has video of just such a moment. 

But, for a regressive to call for the death of people that are born addicted to a drug that their parent ingested, or just because they are poor?  Well, that’s OK.  Remember this?

Yes, the young lady in the first video has taken the regressive blood-lust, and made it a bit more sophisticated, and a hell of a lot cheaper.   You see, you don’t need camps with a “humane gas,” you just kill the “undesirables” before they are born.

And just to remind all of you, the vast majority of Planned Parenthood facilities are located in minority neighborhoods.  But let’s not let the genocidal agenda get out, mmkay?

Never forget that the Left has NO tolerance for any individual rights. ONLY government can grant rights in Leftist ideology, and those rights that are permitted must be secondary to the “common good”.

Let’s be clear about something.

Abortion is not ”health care”. Two lives go in, only one comes out.

Most of the time we call that murder.

Alas, the Obama administration is determined to ensure that every woman has the unfettered ability to cleanse her womb of wayward cells, at any time, for any reason. Or for no reason. Even if those cells happen to bear a striking resemblance to a living, breathing, bouncing baby. It’s her right.

And, to guarantee that the extermination of inconvenient children is truly “free” for the asking, starting in 2014 you’ll see a surcharge built in to every American’s health insurance premium.

One dollar per month. No exceptions. No exemptions.

The Department of Health and Human Services has finalized the policies governing state health care exchanges under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, and with it the rules governing abortion coverage under the new law.

Life News reports that “the concern pro-life organizations had about the ObamaCare legislation funding abortions has been confirmed.”

Indeed pro-lifers have long known that the health care law, specifically Section 1303, would require enrollees in the health care exchanges to pay a separate monthly surcharge for abortion coverage.

With the final HHS rules set in stone, the surcharge is a dollar.

Now, I know that many liberals will scoff at such language. Indeed, they will mock my saying that any human life is worth merely a dollar under Obamacare. These Liberals really should think though. If government begins putting price tags on our lives, at any stage, where will that end? So, when it comes down to rationing care, how much IS your life worth? Do you REALLY trust government to make that call?

Really, Michelle? Now that police have a suspect in custody, are you going to follow up on that angle, and explain how Francis Gerald Grady exemplifies the phenomenon you described? Have the producers at MSNBC booked you for tonight, so you can talk about Grady as part of the “anti-abortion movement” and the Republican “War on Women”? Or have you already booked your flight to Wisconsin, so you can give Newsweek and MSNBC exclusive coverage from the scene of the crime?

Somehow, I don’t think we’re going to get any of that kind of actual journalism from Michelle Goldberg or Lawrence O’Donnell or anybody else in the liberal media who was so eager to jump to a preordained conclusion about this incident, playing a primetime propaganda game of pin-the-tail-on-the-Republican.

Hell, no, they won’t follow up. Goldberg, O’Donnell, MSNBC, Newsweek – now that there are actual facts to report, these worthless lying scoundrels are going to drop this story and flush it down the Memory Hole as if it never happened. They ought to be indicted for fraud merely for calling themselves “journalists.”

What if HHS mandates abortion on demand?

By the pricking of my thumbs . . . it’s Kathleen Sebelius, explaining the apparent cost-effectiveness of societal suicide:

“The reduction in the number of pregnancies compensates for the cost of contraception,” Sebelius said. She went on to say the estimated cost is “down not up.”

Hmmm, so reducing our population will lower health care costs? So, as Jill points out

At a hearing of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, Secretary of HHS Kathleen Sebelius confirmed the fears of many pro-life advocates who worry that the recent HHS mandate requiring all insurance plans to cover contraception and sterilization, regardless of an employer’s moral objection, is just the beginning.

The same statutory authority of the Administration to mandate contraception could just as easily mandate abortion on demand. The Administration believes in essence that employers are not really paying for contraceptives or abortion since they would be cheaper than providing for prenatal care, childbirth or child care.

In an exchange with pro-life Congressman Tim Murphy (R-PA), Sebelius claimed, “The reduction in a number of pregnancies compensates for the cost of contraception.” To which Murphy responded, “So you’re saying by not having babies born, we’re going to save money on healthcare?” The exchange becomes just another example of the Obama Administration’s willingness to trample on basic rights of conscience in order to pay for the massive 2010 federal healthcare law and expand abortion.

As a means of cutting costs under Obamacare, the Secretary of HHS has the authority to mandate coverage of anything he or she adds to a “preventive services” list. The recent HHS edict was the result of contraception being added to that list. Because the list is fluid and left solely to the whim of the Administration, there is no statute preventing an abortion mandate.

Certainly abortion coverage is the next logical step. Even in its initial passage in 2010, Obamacare contained new streams of federal funding for abortion. The Obama Administration fought against pro-life amendments like the Stupak-Pitts Amendment to gut abortion funding from the bill. It has continued to fight against efforts to limit federal funds for abortion. The Obama Administration was willing to allow a government shutdown unless full federal funding for Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider, was in place. It’s clear; the Administration would have no qualms about mandating coverage for abortion.

Go read the rest folks, and remember that,at some point, lowering health care costs is bound to trump things like individual rights, and any other right Obamacare deems unimportant.
