Alex Jones goes off his meds, goes nuts

Actually, Jones has always been nuts, and there are likely no meds that can help this deranged loon. Here Donald Douglas smacks Jones for his nasty attacks on Alyssa Milano. Yes, as Douglas points out Milano is a Lib, but she is also a nice lady, and she does not deserve the vile attack Jones launched. What an ass clown!

Also read The Other McCain’s defense of the lovely Alyssa Milano

“War whore”? Alex Jones is a despicable conspiracy theorist who spent years pushing 9/11 Truther nonsense. At the 2008 Democratic National Convention in Denver, Alex Jones spotted Michelle Malkin at a protest and he started shouting “neocon” and a bunch of other stuff, which incited some protesters to start chanting, “Kill Michelle Malkin.”

If it hadn’t been for Charlie Martin and Jim Hoft being there to defend her, who knows what might have happened?

I’ve hated that dangerous kookball ever since, and the fact that Alex Jones is now smearing a liberal like Alyssa Milano (while, characteristically, ranting about the “New World Order”) goes to show just how little Alex Jones’s paranoid anger has to do with actual politics.

Alex Jones is worse than those idiot liberals who were raging because Alyssa Milano appeared on Fox and Friends this week.

If anybody needs rational arguments against the Syria intervention, I’ll be happy to provide them, but you’re not going to get any rational arguments from Alex Jones about anything.

And now, if you haven’t clicked ALYSSA MILANO SEX TAPE yet, go ahead and do it, and you can thank Alyssa Milano on Twitter.

I also love this tweet that sums up Alex Jones quite well

@michellemalkin is a nice conservative lady. @Alyssa_Milano is a nice liberal lady. @RealAlexJones is an obnoxious a–hole conspiracy kook.

Maybe a 12-step program could benefit Alex Jones. Assholes Anonymous perhaps?

Evil really is everywhere isn’t it?

The Other McCain reports on one Karoli Kuns, who is, according to both RS McCain’s opinion AND her own words, EVIL! Of course, to be fair to Karoli Kuns, boy that name sounds evil doesn’t it? Well it sounds either like evil incarnate of some new kind of doughnut. Likely a doughnut filled with evil. Anyway back to being fair to Karoli, she likely thinks I am evil because I love the Constitution and oppose Obamacare, and also evil people who are named after evil donuts! Anyway, read on as McCain explains the evil that IS Karoli

Is there a more dishonest person in America than the vile lie peddler Karoli Kuns? Certainly, we cannot rule this out, considering that 66 million people voted to re-elect President Obama.

One might write an entire book about the perverse mind of Karoli Kuns, whose attitude toward Republicans can best be understood by studying Pol Pot’s attitude toward opponents of the Khmer Rouge. There is no standard of decency Karoli Kuns recognizes as limiting the falsehoods she writes about anyone who doesn’t vote Democrat. For her, the destruction of Republicans is an end that justifies any means.

Karoli Kuns wakes up every morning and eats a bowl of Evil Flakes for breakfast, with a hot cup of dishonesty. She then peddles vile lies all day and into the night, before going to sleep to dream of the despicably hateful falsehoods she’ll tell tomorrow. If we occasionally notice some heinous wrong she has done today, it doesn’t mean she didn’t do worse yesterday, and she’ll certainly try to do worse tomorrow.

OK, so the Wall Street Journal published an article this week about the Tea Party and the IRS scandal, and the Washington Post then paid Alex Seitz-Wald to retaliate by attacking the Tea Party — because attacking Obama’s Enemies List is Alex Seitz-Wald‘s entire ouevre — and then, on cue, here comes Karoli Kuns to claim that somehow everything is explained by the “Groundswell” conspiracy:

According to the Groundswell documents, meetings and message coordination was taking place on a daily basis via email groups and their weekly meeting. Key players included the Tea Party Patriots and True The Vote. Both of these organizations were among the first to step up and claim they had been ‘victimized.’ But before the IRS ‘news’ ever broke, activity had been going on behind the scenes.

ERMAGERD! Activity behind the scenes! Evil People Who Don’t Vote Democrat send emails and have weekly meetings!

These people have gone so far as to advocate free speech and the right to assemble and petition government for a redress of grievances — can’t Eric Holder do something to stop these extremists?

You see what I mean about Karoli Kuns? Her basic premise is the dishonest insinuation that there is something scandalous — something wrong, perhaps even criminal — about people opposing Obama’s policies.

Christians, gun owners, homeschoolers, small businessmen concerned about regulations — these people have no rights at all, according to Karoli Kuns, and so their political activism is illegitimate. Therefore the IRS scandal is not a scandal, because the Tea Party shouldn’t even exist, and anything that the IRS or any other agency of government can do to wipe these people out is justified, according to Karoli Kuns.

I am tempted to say what a bit@#, but that would be too easy. Karoli is evil, and it seems she is damned brazen about her evilness. Her sources for dismissing the fact that the IRS DID target Conservative groups are either fat Left, or farther Left, so Kuns claims are, at least easily rebutted. She is, in short just another typical Leftist, that is she is someone willing to lie, then lie about lying, then lie some more as long as she can smear, rather than debate, Conservatives and other “radicals” who actually believe in America’s founding principles. And, in my book that does indeed make her EVIL. So evil she has now ruined my desire to ever eat another doughnut lest I accidentally ingest a “Karoli Kuns”  evil-filled doughnut.

It is Hard out There for the Perpetually Offended Feminist!

The Other McCain has the background on this poor, poor woman who cannot seem to stop being offended, and cannot to seem to put that hard-earned Honors BA in  Social Justice and Peace Studies to good use.

Yes, I know, it is mean to mock those less intelligent than the average four-year-old, but when someone boasts about a degree in  Social Justice and Peace Studies, or a Masters in Gender Studies they have it coming.

Hilarity ensued Monday after @Andria_XX complained that social-media criticism of Miley Cyrus included “bodyshaming/slutshaming” and “heteropatriarchal crap.” Readers will recall that Andria has an “Honors BA in Social Justice and Peace Studies” and is pursuing a Master’s degree in Gender Studies. So . . . how’s that going?

Andria_Gender_Studies

I have a honors BA and I’m defending my MA thesis
in two weeks. I am also apply for jobs and I can
only find stuff in the
 service industry. I applied
for a Hotel Front Desk Clerk job today.
My degrees mean NOTHING.
I am at the end of my rope.

What? Being an advanced student of useless ideology doesn’t result in meaningful employment? That’s just really . . . unfair.

Look on the bright side Andria, you can USE those USELESS degrees to help continue to blame men, and bodyshaming/slutshaming” and “heteropatriarchal crap” for all your ills.

BTW Andria, I like Black Forest ham and roasted turkey, mustard AND mayo, ripe tomatoes, extra pickles, and green leaf lettuce on my sandwiches.

Does Stacy McCain aggravate Feminists? Or are Feminists like @StephHerold and @SaraAlcid just naturally aggravated?

The answer, I would say, is that Feminists are perpetually Offended, and maybe only feel fulfilled when they are aggrieved PO’ed, and angry! And paranoid apparently.

Sara_Alcid_Harassment

The FBI? Good Grief! Someone needs a timeout, seriously, such drama queens. McCain has more

“You are just an ignorant, inarticulate, hate-filled bigot — a typical American — and you are so insignificant that Sara Alcid can’t be bothered to notice.”
– Robert Stacy McCain

Talking back to a Queer Feminist is a now evidently a hate crime or something, and Badger Pundit chronicles how my reply to a “reproductive justice” activist made Sara Alcid a heroic martyr in the “War on Women.”Disagreement is hate, because feminism.

Ah yes, Feminism, or the poisoning of Female minds to be bitter,, angry, and hostile to men and anything that makes men happy. Oh and did I mention delusions of moral superiority?

These people are Our Moral Superiors. We are inarticulate subhumans who have no rights, not even the First Amendment free speech right to express disagreement or defend ourselves against insults.

We cannot reply by pointing out that Sara Alcid is a disciple of “queer theory” feminist Judith Butler, or that Sara Alcid works for a 501(c)3 non-profit abortion advocacy organization, or that Sara Alcid views Valentine’s Day as a hateful occasion when “heteronormativity and gender roles … rear their ugly heads.”

We cannot point these things out, because disagreement is hate.

The flawed logic of their rhetoric, their enthusiasm for bad ideas, their fanatical desire to destroy all that is true, right and decent in the world — no, you can’t point this out, because if you do, some people might say mean things about feminists, and people who say mean things about feminists are evil hateful sexist harassers who are trying to silence and intimidate these courageous women.

More at The Other McCain. These women are deeply angry, likely because they are wrong on the issues they hold dear. they KNOW, deep in their hearts they are wrong, but that offends their feelings and the result is Bitter Feminist Syndrome! If these women REALLY want help, they ought to call a psychologist, not the FBI because a blogger mocks them

Election 2012 live blogging the end of our Constitutional Republic

Is that a cocky headline? Yes! Am I that confident? YES! Keep checking back for updates, I will be back when polls start closing.

Until that magic hour when we all start obsessing over exit polls, flipping channels and focusing the scrolls on the TV screen with vote count updates, here are some great blogs to visit

The Other McCain has election day updates

Gateway Pundit has news that in Ohio, Republican turnout is way up, Democrat turnout? Not so much

Chris has his voter guide at Wyblog

Milton Wolf has advice for the dead among us, Do NOT vote Democrat

Gary Jackson has a thug alert in Philly

American Power, Obama has nuthin!

Breitbart: Two election judges in Ohio booted for allowing unregistered voters to cast ballots

Bob belevedere to Blue State Conservatives, YES your vote matters

Conservative Black Chick: Why Mitt can’t wait

Conservative Hideout: BENGHAZI!

Victory Girls are also live blogging election night and has this story, I hope the part about the SEALs is true

Apparently, the New Black Panthers are also on the scene in Ohio.

Fortunately though, there are allegedly former Navy SEALs, supposedly from True the Vote, on the way to both Pennsylvania and Ohio to guard against voter intimidation. Can I get a “hell yeah” for our SEALs?!

Meanwhile, Politico’s final poll shows that the race is a dead heat, but Romney is up by 15 with independents.

BC notes that Dan Rather is saying Romney is in for a win

Michelle: It’s Time

Moonbattery offers some humor

Jill is feeling good about tonight, but not about this despicable ad

William Teach has an election day special post

Nice Deb has a great election day post as well

OK, here we go, no swing states have been called yet, no surprise there, and Romney holds an 82-78 lead in the EC. Florida is going back and forth, driving me crazy. Virginia and North Carolina looking good, but it is early so, no chicken counting yet on those. Pennsylvania is way too early to even consider, looks like a loooong night. So, what is everyone drinking? Coffee, Beer (yes I am) An Alaskan IPA right now, excellent beer. Watching the results on the PC because frankly, the talking heads drive me batty frankly.

RS McCain is live blogging too, from Ohio. And yes, I think we should give him the credit if Romney wins in Ohio, and the blame if….nope not going there. The Lonely Conservative, also live blogging updates that Arkansas is Romney country so 88-78 Romney currently.

Gateway Pundit says things are looking good in Wisconsin, likewise in Virginia, we hope that turns out to be the case, stay tuned……….

Linked by The Lonely Conservative! Thanks!

UPDATE! Chuck Todd reports that both sides expect Romney to win a close one in Florida

New EC count, 154-123 for Romney

Obama takes Pennsylvania, EC count 154-143 for Mitt

Wisconsin called for Obama? Good grief! 154-153

Looks like Florida is coming down to the panhandle, good sign for Romney?

Florida still damned close, Romney gaining in Ohio, holding on in Carolina and Virginia, I think Wisconsin was called way too early. And I think my eyes are going crossed from looking at all these numbers.

Just noticed that CNN has not called Wisconsin yet, Romney still leading there, current EC count, 163-157 Romney

Looking tough in Florida, but, National Review notes that there is still hope Santa Rosa County is HEAVY for Republicans, it has not reported yet

Florida is getting very close, so is Ohio, this ain’t over people!

UPDATE! Romney takes North Carolina, hope still lives

UPDATE! The Other McCain has given up, I am leaning towards that end right now, but not yet. I am amazed that there are so many in the nation that just have no grasp of what liberty is. If Romney loses, I will be posting lots of thoughts, there is plenty of blame to go around, no doubt. Out of all the swing states we got North Carolina, maybe Virginia, maybe Florida, and Ohio. Sorry, this should never have been this close. I cannot grasp how America votes for a bad economy, staggering debt, and no leadership at all. The Senate could have, and should have been taken. Right now, I am wondering if too many Americans  are simply hooked on big government.

UPDATE! Ohio called for Obama, good Lord we have reelected this Neo-Marxist? This is the price we pay for being ignorant of our history, our founding principles, I would say God help us, but I am not sure we deserve it anymore.

Your Blog Post of the Day

Is from The Other McCain, and it is  a good one. Thought provoking, compelling, and best of all, educational. The Problem With Sexual Rights will make you think, and  if you are a Liberal that is a great thing. Go read it all, but, the opening, to me, perfectly describes the one reason we can not hold real debates with Liberals

“Seizing on the triumphant narrative of the black civil-rights movement, liberals adopted the habit of framing political debates in terms of minority ‘rights’ versus majority ‘discrimination.’ . . . To disagree with a liberal, to oppose his latest policy proposal, is to invite comparisons to Bull Connor and Orval Faubus, so long as the liberal can make ‘rights’ the basis of his argument.
” ‘Rights talk’ allowed liberals a means of preemptively delegitimizing their opponents and thereby to avoid arguing about policy in terms of necessity, utility and efficacy. If all legal and political conflicts are about ‘rights,’ there is no need to argue about the specific consequences of laws and policies. Merely determine which side of the controversy represents ‘rights’ and the debate ends there.”
– Robert Stacy McCain, “Gay Rights, Gay Rage,” The American Spectator, Oct. 17, 2008

YES! That is absolutely correct. Every Liberal cause, is transformed into a crusade for civil rights, rather than an issue to be openly debated. Thus, emotionalism is elevated above thinking, and we see where that leads. Stacy McCain also sums up another key problem with debating Liberals, their “Progressivism” has no limits

Liberalism has no fixed goal. We will never reach a point at which the liberal will say, “enough.” Grant all his demands today, and tomorrow the liberal will return to demand more.

Take for example the federal budget, which is $3,796,000,000,000 for the current year. Could we go to our liberal friends and get them to specify an amount — say, $5 trillion — at which the federal budget would be big enough? If we could ever get liberals to stipulate some final number, some ultimate limit to the remorseless expansion of Washington’s power over us, then we might be able to negotiate a settlement. But what liberals demand is always more, and so it’s like negotiating with a shark about how much of your leg he will eat.

How true, and I have come to believe that the “more” the Left always seems to want is because they want nothing short of absolute control of everyone and everything. There is no “nose of the camel under the tent” with the Left, the nose, is followed by a hump, followed by the entire camel, and behind that camel, are hundreds of other camels.

Stacy McCain’s man crush

On one, as Stacy describes him, Paul “Dreamy Eyes” Ryan

The next polls you see out of Virginia . . . Well, look, the “gender gap” will evaporate instantly now that Paul Ryan’s on the ticket. Trust me on this — chicks dig him. It was like Sinatra with a crowd of bobby soxers at the Paramount in 1944. Elvis at the Overton Park bandshell in Memphis in 1956. Total swoonsville. As I explained it on Twitter:

Lots more at the link. I wonder how many women will be swayed by Ryan’s looks, which women, and Stacy McCain tell me are “dreamy”. Of course, I cannot not rag on Stacy too much. He might be lost in Ryan’s eyes, but Trog is blogging about Ryan shirtless! NTTIAWWT

No, I will not give a topless interview to Lance Burri

Man, aren’t those coincindences crazy things?

Odd, I mean, how some things work out. Today Chick-fil-A suporters are flooding the restaurant, supporting the famed chicken sandwich chain, and BAM! A bomb threat is phoned into a Chick-fil-A. Stacy McCain has details  and ponders is this just a random nut that hates chicken sandwiches?

Maybe somebody just hates chicken sandwiches:
Police and fire crews closed down the Chick-fil-A on Foxcroft Avenue in Martinsburg for nearly three hours following a bomb threat that was called in just before 1 p.m. today.

The caller mentioned that a “device” had been placed within the restaurant. The building was evacuated, but was deemed safe at about 3:45 p.m. after no bomb or any other type of device was discovered.

Martinsburg City Police and the Martinsburg Fire Department personnel investigated the scene, along with Berkeley County Sheriff Kenny Lemaster. A National Park Ranger with a canine unit arrived at the scene at approximately 2:45 p.m. to assist, and a second from the West Virginia State Police arrived later as well.

Let me ask you: Of all the Chick-fil-A’s in America to be targeted with a bomb threat, why this one? Is Berkeley County, W.Va., the kind of place where you would expect such a thing?

More at The Other McCain. My take on who did this is, who knows. A stupid kid with a warped sense of humor? Someone who gets a twisted thrill out of causing such a ruckus? Like I said, who knows, but i do know one thing, I, nor Stacy, nor anyone else I know is pointing the finger of blame at the left. Too bad the Left cannot act in a similar fashion. If the roles in this were reversed, the Left would be jumping to conclusions with both feet!

Of course, the support Chick-fil-A day has been a HUGE success, except for the Left, which is being reminded just how UNPOPULAR their radicalism is. Among the hardest hit? Rahm Emanuel, who is eating a lot of “birds” apparently was wrong about Chick-fil-A NOT meeting the values of Chicago

Donald Douglas has news that Wendys is wading into the debate, and might hurt their bottom line by doing so.

Wendy’s restaurants has stepped in it. See Business Insider, “A Bunch Of Wendy’s Restaurants Put Up Signs That Say ‘We Stand With Chick-Fil-A’.”

Smart move, the locations that put up those signs get it, but, of course, the big wigs at Wendy’s are not that bright, and seem to be more interested in being PC, than in defending free speech from Leftist bullies.

But then they backtracked on Twitter:

@Wendys@RJasonCottrell@ThomasARoberts@tlrd We are looking into this!” Thanks Wendy’s. Look forward to your response@msnbc

@ThomasARoberts@RJasonCottrell@tlrd An independent franchisee posted the sign, which he’s taken down. We proudly serve ALL customers!

ALL costumers? Chick-fil-A serves ALL kind of folks too. Wendys needs to THINK about getting into this, but, like so many others they are deathly afraid of maybe offending someone that is in a “protected class” that they will offend many more people in the pursuit of being PC.

Your Blog Day of Silence

No, Ed and I did not participate, but others did, and here is a round up of what those who did had to say

Evil Blogger Lady

King Shamus

Paul Lemmen

Reaganite Republican

Nathan Martin

ACE

Donald Douglas has details on the newest attack on The Lid

Jeff Dunetz reports, “Kimberlin’s Cronies Go After The Lid” (via Memeorandum):

As I mentioned earlier this week today has been declared a national day of blogger silence/action to protect blogger freedom of speech. Since Ace suggested we use today to urge congress protect free speech the day has taken on more significance to me personally, yesterday

I was added to the attack list as the site Brietbart Unmasked which is run by Brett Kimberlin or his cronies started posting horrible internet slanders about me. Stacy McCain calls ”Breitbart Unmasked” Not Brett Kimberlin because of the claim that Kimberlin is not behind the site. If the proprietor of the site isn’t Kimberlin or one of his cronies than it must be some sort of psychic because the nameless blogger running Brietbart unmasked posted details of the Kimberlin/Mrs. McCain incident, which “The Other McCain” has never discussed in public or published.

It started Monday evening when Brooks Bayne was being attacked by always-crazy Debbie Schlussel as an anti-Semite. As regular readers of this site know it really bothers me when people are falsely accused of Jew hatred so I began to defend him. This launched a barrage of hatred from Schulssel and her followers.

Rather than debate the reasons why we disagreed about Brooks Bayne, they started tweeting links to Internet slanders, originally made about me over seven years ago. These lies included charges about me being a sexual predator, using hookers, etc.

I’ve known Jeff for some time, first online, when he was still going by “Sammy Benoit,” and then later in person at CPAC 2011. Jeff has discussed his past on the blog, so whatever allegations the Kimberlin people have, they aren’t new. They’re simply smearing Jeff for standing up against a gang of criminal harassers.

Bob Belvedere has some good stuff

-Who is Martin Maher and why has Brett Kimberlin filed a Peace Order against him? Some of our folks are investigating. Tip of the fedora to Stacy McCain.

-John Hawkins’s chronicle of the misdeeds of Brett Kimberlin is a must-read and the post to show people who you’re trying to educate about this story.  Bravo, John.

-Yid With Lid fires back at his attackers [see this post for background].

-CNN’s Don Lemmon interviews Erick Erickson.

-Mark Steyn in now aware of Brett Kimberlin thanks to Michelle Malkin.  He’s listened to the audio of the Walker hearing and comments:

At a hearing in Maryland arising from Kimberlin’s “lawfare” campaign, the blogger Aaron Walker was arrested. Aside from the merits of the case, I was struck by the appalling performance of the presiding judge, one C. J. Vaughey. As is increasingly the way with our decaying justice system, there is no easily searchable court transcript, only an audio tape that a few individual bloggers have been painstakingly transcribing. Judge Vaughey comes across as a near parodic combination of bluster, ignorance and narcissism…

Over the years, I’ve faced unsympathetic judges in various courts around the world, but I can’t recall ever listening to such a stream of unjudicial drivel from the bench as that which poured from Judge Vaughey….

Damn straight.

However, the vast majority of people at National Review continue to ignore this whole story; only a few, such as Jonathan Adler, Jim Geraghty, and David French, have mentioned it.  As with The Daily Caller, NRO is a disgrace.

-More to follow.

UPDATE at 2149…

-Over at The American Spectator, Stacy McCain has published an excellent report.  A highlight:

Somewhere between the time in October 2010 he threatened to sue Patrick Frey and the decision last week to make a similar threat toward Ali Akbar, Brett Kimberlin crossed a Rubicon of desperation and burned the bridge behind him. In the past three weeks, Kimberlin and his allies have escalated their deceitful war against conservative bloggers to the point that it cannot be ignored, and must now be fought to a conclusion with the entire political world watching.

Wyblog is fired up!

Perhaps National Day of Blogger Silence is a misnomer. We won’t be silenced! But we will be focused. Focused like a laser on the nefarious antics of Brett Kimberlin and his demented army of thugs. And not, as our political associates would like, on the things they care about, such as elections and fundraising.

Why? So our elected representatives will take notice of our plight, and bring the auspices of their good offices to bear on our behalf.

It’s called petitioning our government for a redress of grievances and it too is a fundamental right of all who embrace Liberty and Freedom.

Senator Saxby Chambliss (R-GA) is standing up for our rights. So is Texas Rep. Kenny Marchant.

Thank you gentlemen. You understand the value of free speech to the foundations of our Republic.

Some of you will say, “oy vey, another blog war?” and move on. And if this was merely a war of words I’d agree. But sadly, it’s so much more.

Kimberlin’s cronies went after Ali Akbar’s mother. Even if you’re not sure where the line is, attacking momis pretty far across it.

Kimberlin uses lawfare and SLAPP lawsuits to silence his critics, because he can’t counter with facts and actual arguments. His dissembling has already resulted in blogger Aaron Walker being jailed, and enjoined from blogging for six months. Yeah, that pesky First Amendment, it doesn’t apply to mere bloggers.

Fortunately some big name lawyers have stepped up to counter Kimberlin’s jailhouse legal shenanigans. Justice will be done.

Matt at Conservative Hideout is a great American!

While I was at the day job, there were quite a few developments in the Brett Kimberlin story.  The Other McCain has a great starting point for today’s coverage…

FROM AN UNDISCLOSED LOCATION
Very busy today, awaiting developments on The Kimberlin Files. However, Da Tech Guy cleverly points out that CNN allowed Arlette Saenz of ABC to beat them on reporting this story, even though the reported SWATting of CNN on-air personality Erick Erickson was a central element of the story.

For that matter, CNN contributorDana Loesch is well-informed about the Kimberlin story, and could put CNN’s reporters in direct contact with many others who are involved. But maybe the executives at CNN would rather continue being No. 3 in cable news ratings, and let their competitors scoop them on such an important story, because they are more interested in playing politics than reporting the actual news.

And they wonder why no one is watching?

Here is an excerpt from the ABC News Story…

A number of conservative bloggers allege they have been targeted through the use of harassment tactics such as SWAT-ting (fooling 911 operators into sending emergency teams to their homes), in retaliation for posts they have written, and now Sen. Saxby Chambliss, R-Ga., has stepped into the matter. He has sent a letter to Attorney General Eric Holder urging him to investigate the SWAT-ting cases to see if federal laws have been violated.

“I am writing with concern regarding recent reports that several members of the community of online political commentators have been targeted with harassing and frightening actions. Any potentially criminal action that incites fear, seeks to silence a dissenting opinion, and collaterally wastes the resources of law enforcement should be given close scrutiny at all levels,” Chambliss wrote in the letter. “

Regardless of any potential political differences that may exist, threats and intimidation have no place in our national political discourse. Those who choose to enter into that political discourse should not have to worry about potential threats to their or their family’s safety,” Chambliss continued. “While I am certain that local law enforcement is reviewing each of these instances, I am asking you to please look into each of these cases as well to determine if any federal laws may have been violated. Future targets of SWAT-ting, whether engaged in political speech or not, may not be so fortunate as to escape physical harm.”

Adrienne also points out that the story hit the from page of Yahoo News, as they are in a cooperative venture with ABC.

Free speech is under fire. Online thugs are targeting bloggers (mostly conservative, but not all) who have dared to expose a convicted bomber and perjuring vexatious litigant now enjoying a comfy life as a liberally-subsidized social justice operative. Where do your elected representatives stand on this threat to our founding principles?

On Wednesday, U.S. Senator Saxby Chambliss (R-GA) bravely stepped forward to press this vital issue. In a letter to Attorney General Eric Holder, Sen. Chambliss decried the “harassing and frightening actions” of Internet menaces who have recently gone after several conservative new media citizen journalists and activists. (VIDEO here.)

GOP Rep. Ken Marchant of Texas also added his voice, telling Holder in a statement that he is “very afraid of the potential chilling effects that these reported actions may have in silencing individuals who would otherwise be inclined to exercise their Constitutional right to free speech.” And theAmerican Center for Law and Justice, a leading conservative free speech public interest law firm, announced it was providing legal representation to the National Bloggers Club – a new media association that has provided support and raised funds for targets of this coordinated harassment. (Full disclosure: I volunteer on the National Bloggers’ Club board of directors.)

Pirates Cove sums up why this matters TO YOU!

This is not a left or right issue. Yes, primarily Conservative bloggers have been targeted, but so have a few Liberals, including Seth Allen. You could be next, whether you are on the Left or Right, blogger or simply a commenter. There are always a few unhinged people on both sides who can, and do, engage in practices that the rest of us find abhorrent.

I am going to add one more link, to my friend Stacy McCain who has been ALL OVER this Be sure to read his post!

May 25th 2012 is a bad day to be a bad man

And Brett Kimberlin, scumbag, terrorist, convicted felon, and short besides, is a very bad actor. He decide to try to intimidate Stacy McCain, of The Other McCain blog, and he tried to bully and intimidate others as well. Because these bloggers dared to uncover the ugly truth behind Kimberlin, and his allies, they found themselves targeted.

Zilla of the Resistance has an incredibly detailed post on just who this guy is, and what he’s done to people who have exposed him, and writes

What did Stacy do to find himself in the cross-hairs of this violent terrorist thug? The same thing that gets the rest of us targeted by vile leftists who want to silence us: he told the truth: about Kimberlin, his violent criminal history, the leftist operatives that he is connected to, and the plethora of money that The Speedway Bomber has been given by a myriad of well-known progressives.

The Lonely Conservative has her blogburst up, along with a ton of links to those participating

Brett Kimberlin, aka The Speedway Bomber,  is not a nice man. He’s on a mission to go after any blogger who dares to speak the truth about him. He doesn’t want anyone writing about his sordid past, or his ties to liberal groups and “charitable” foundations thatsend his “non-profit” businesses money.

You see, this is how the far Left plays. They target anyone who dares expose or even question them. Their thuggery is vile, and they must be stopped, because should their intimidation tactics succeed, well, then free speech in America is gone. That, of course is the goal of the Kimberlins of the world. Too often, these despicable and cowardly tactics have succeeded. Corporations, media outlets, and politicians have bowed to Left-Wing boycotts, or the Race Card, or out of fear of negative publicity. But, something odd happened when Kimberlin tried this game with bloggers. He, in the words of The Lonely Conservative, poked  a bees nest

Brett Kimberlin, aka The Speedway Bomber,  is not a nice man. He’s on a mission to go after any blogger who dares to speak the truth about him. He doesn’t want anyone writing about his sordid past, or his ties to liberal groups and “charitable” foundations that send his “non-profit” businesses money.

What he probably didn’t realize is that conservative bloggers don’t take kindly to attacks on our friends. An attack on one is an attack on all. He wanted to quietly terrorize anyone who wrote about his evil ways through “lawfare.” Little did he know is that he had kicked a bee’s nest. The Army of Davids has answered the call.

He may have cost one couple their jobs, and forced a family out of their home, but in doing so, he invited a level of scrutiny upon himself that was surely unexpected. There’s now a web page devoted to exposing his evil ways. His deadly deeds may have been scrubbed from Wikipedia, but thanks to big voices like Michelle Malkin and Lee Stranahan, Kimberlin will go on to live in infamy.

A bit about Kimberlin’s past is in order here I think

In the late 1970′s Brett Kimberlin planted bombs all over the town of Speedway Indiana. One of those bombs was in a gym bag placed outside a school. Carl DeLong, a Vietnam War veteran, picked up the bag thinking he would be able to identify the owner and return it. For his trouble he had his leg blown off, his body filled with shrapnel, and an injured wife. DeLong was in so much pain he took his own life a few years later. His widow won a wrongful death suit against Kimberlin, who has not paid up.

The police who investigated the bombings believed Kimberlin planted the bombs to deflect attention from another crime – the cold-hearted murder of the grandmother of a girl he may have molested. They didn’t have enough evidence to charge him for that crime, especially after the victim’s husband died. Eventually, Kimberlin was sentenced to fifty years in prison, but thanks to lax federal parole laws at the time he got out early. The Indy Star covered the events, and their reporting is available online. (Follow that link for one article, and look to the left of the page for a number of other articles they ran at the time.)

Ace of Spades summed up one story, the one where they recounted how Kimberlin put out hits on his enemies.

But remember, this is the guy who is being “harassed” and even viciously “decked” by bloggers.

It’s not this guy himself who’s causing the problems– no, not the guy who had a list of witnesses against him to be killed.

Not the guy who tried to pay off another convict to plant a bomb, of the exact same design as his own bomb, so that he could argue that cops “got the wrong man” for the Speedway Bomber.

No, it’s this guy who is the innocent victim of cruel right-wingers conspiring to besmirch his good reputation with smears.

While in prison Kimberlin boned up on the law, and claimed to have sold drugs (he was also convicted of drug dealing) to Dan Quayle. Those claims caught the attention of the left. Fox News documented his post-parole activities in 2010.

Now, 22 years later, Kimberlin has taken that lesson and made unfounded accusations a profession of sorts. Using two popular leftist blogs, the 56-year-old from Bethesda, Md., has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars from the public and left-leaning foundations by promising to put conservatives he disagrees with in jail, often with offers of large rewards. So far — without success — he has called for the arrest of Karl Rove, Andrew Breitbart, Chamber of Commerce head Tom Donohue, Massey Energy Chairman Don Blankenship and other high-profile public figures.

A review of tax filings for Kimberlin’s blogs, “Velvet Revolution” and “Justice Through Music,” raises troubling questions about whether his “nonprofit” operations are dedicated to public activism — or are just a new facade for a longtime con artist.

Though neither website publicly reveals Kimberlin’s role, tax and corporate documents show that he is one of four directors who incorporated the Velvet Revolution, and that he is the registered agent for the tax-exempt, non-stock company, which is registered at his mother’s house in Bethesda. In 2008, the last year for which tax records are available, Velvet Revolution took in $83,000 in gifts and contributions.

Kimberlin is also one of two incorporators of Justice Through Music, as well as a $19,500-a-year employee of the non-profit, whose purpose is to “shed light on some of the injustices of the world through music” and which took in more than $550,000 in contributions in 2008.

What those who view the blogs — and those who donate to them — aren’t told is who Kimberlin is and where he’s been. And that is a twisted story, indeed. (Read More)

Kimberlin is making a mockery of the legal system. Via Absolute Moral Authority, just search him on Google Scholar. It’s one lawsuit after another. Who do you think is paying for all of this litigation? We, the taxpayers are, while Kimberlin is funded by liberal groups like the Tides Foundation, John Kerry’s wife and Barbara Streisand, and his “non-profits” have tax-exempt status. Lee Stranahan has a list of his more recent activity, as well as some of his political connectionsall Democrats, I might add.

That is one very naughty monkey, and a dangerous one, anyone who crosses him might become a target. So, why wold I, or any other blogger take part in exposing Kimberlin? Why would we make a target of ourselves? Well, simply put, I, and every other blogger telling this story is already a target aren’t we? I blog about the Left every day, I try to expose their agenda every day. So, the Left proven their penchant for targeting folks like me over and again. That leaves me, and all the other bloggers with a choice. Either keep doing what we love to do, or, do what the Brett Kimberlin’s want us to do, that is SHUT UP! Sorry, I am not going to be forced into silence by a thug.

There is a another point that needs to be stressed here. Why are bloggers becoming the target of choice for the Left? More than talk radio, more than Conservative columnists, more than Fox News? Well, we are most times the source of breaking news and commentary aren’t we? I do not remember the last time I listened to talk radio and heard a subject discussed that I, or Ed, or some other blogger had not already delved into. Often times bloggers are days ahead of talk radio. And there are no sponsors to target for most of us. Most of us do not have careers in media, we are not talking heads on CNN or Fox, we are everyday folks doing our best to fight for American principles. We are many, from the blogger who gets a few hits a day, to the blogger getting several hundred visits a day, to those, like this blog, that gets 3-4,000 a day, to blogs that get tens of thousands, or hundreds of thousands of hits a day. And we are VERY hard to control. That is what makes us all targets for the totalitarians like Kimberlin.

Consider this list of bloggers covering this, and trust me, there are many more!

If you are Brett Kimberlin, and you do not want your past, or current activities exposed, this is a problem. A problem monkey boy thought he could do away with by going the intimidation route, BIG, BIG mistake!

And, let us assert here that Kimberlin is not the only one trying to shut us up. This tactic is used by most of the Left, as Donald Douglas points out

I saw this first at WSB-TV Atlanta, “Georgia Democrats’ director record comes to light.”

And here are Andre Walker’s key posts, via Bates Line:

* “Georgia Democrats Say No Comment to Political Director Rashad Richey’s Recidivism.”

* “Democratic Party Political Director Assaulted Girlfriend & Kicked In Her Front Door.”

* “GA Federation of Democratic Women Prez Tried Keeping Woman Abuser Out of Jail.

* “The MSM Reports on Rashad Richey the Recidivist.”

And yesterday at Walker’s blog, “Good Trouble vs. Bad Trouble.”

But see Bryan at Legal Insurrection, “Is conservative blogger in Georgia another victim of “lawfare”?

While the conservative blogosphere is focused on Brett Kimberlin, there is another instance of possible “lawfare” which deserves attention.

Roughly three weeks ago a lawsuit alleging defamation against a conservative blogger was filed in the Superior Court of Fulton County, Georgia.

The claim was brought by Georgia Democratic Party Political Director, Rashad Richey, against conservative blogger Andre Walker of Georgia Politics Unfiltered, as well as a number of other named and unnamed Defendants.

In Richey’s complaint, a number of points were cited as evidence of libel and libel per se. Both of these categories fall under the legal umbrella of defamation. The complaint referenced, among other things, blog posts where Walker wrote that Richey had a “history of making poor personal decisions,” that he was a “criminal,” and a “jailbird.”

Walker has answered the complaint saying not only that this lawsuit is without merit, but also that it is an exercise of frivolity, actionable under the Georgia Abusive Litigation Act.

Walker further asserts that the statements at issue were made in the exercise of Walker’s “right of free speech under the Constitutions of Georgia and the United States of America…” and that truth is an absolute defense to a defamation claim.  News reports have publicized Richey’s history of run-ins with the law.

Additionally, Richey likely will be considered a “public figure” under the law, requiring him to prove actual malice.

As I stated earlier, we are ALL targets now. An Ex-Con his some good thoughts on this

The Brett Kimberlin saga continues, small blogs proliferate in raising our weak and oft unheard voices against the thundering maelstrom of the far left loons. The blogs, from those read only by close friends and family to the 25th tier with their audience of several, upwards to the micro-bloggers that get an occasional break and traffic in the low hundreds on an average day. These are the foot-soldiers in the battle for our nation.

Due to the foolishness and over-confidence of our target some of the larger blogs, some even with name recognition and a national following, are getting involved in this effort. The effort to unmask a twisted dwarf with a bomb in one hand and a subpoena in the other.

But, with an exception or two, none of the truly national blogs, online news purveyors or MSM outlets have so much as breathed a word. Is it apathy or cowardice? Do these non-participants opt out because they just are so jaded that they really don’t care unless it will demonstrably increase web traffic or income from enhanced ad rates? Or are these organizations just cowardly, afraid to put their elephantine bulk of public opinion and political notice up against a 5’4″ sociopath?

Why is it that single man operations are willing to put their very lives on the line to stop Brett Kimberlin and his merry band of Marxist sycophants from continuing their home-grown and home-brewed brand of political terrorism? Are they more invested individually in the success of our nation? Are their lives less valuable than say, Glenn Beck’s?

Finally, some thoughts and tips for those who might think of joining this venture from Bob Belvedere

Tomorrow is Everybody Blog About Brett Kimberlin Day where many of us will take part in a blogburst to help spread the word about Democrat activist and convicted domestic terrorist bomber Brett Kimberlin and his Leftist associates.

-Lee Stranahan, who thought up this great idea, put together a background video on Kimberlin that can be found here. He explains:

This is no war of words; Kimberlin is a serial litigator who has filed over 100 lawsuits by his own account and he takes people to court, claiming they are harassing him. He calls their employers. I stand with all these people, some of whom are my friends. I’m launching a new effort on my own that I hope will help. The only effective way I to fight Brett Kimberlin is for as many people to research and write about him as possible.

So I’m declaring this Friday, May 25th as Everybody Blog About Brett Kimberlin Day.

Here’s what you do to take part…

  1. Research Brett Kimberlin on your own. Don’t trust secondary sources; look for the orginal articles articles published about him, too.
  2. On Friday, May 25th — write an honest, factually accurate post about what you learned and what your OPINION is. Brett may try and sue you, so be accurate, factual and separate fact from opinion.
  3. The post doesn’t have to be long — ANYTHING helps.
  4. After you post, Tweet, share, whatever — get the post out there.

This foolishness has gone on long enough

In another posting, Mr. Stranahan offers some sources on the Internet that can be useful for research [I don't think he will mind if I quote it in full]:

In order to help you prep for Everyone Blog About Brett Kimberlin Day, I wanted to point out two treasure troves for research on Brett Coleman Kimberlin. Research can be tricky because either Kimberlin or his allies are intent on information not coming out. For example, despite the numerous newspaper, magazine articles and even a book written about him there’s no Wikipedia page for Brett Kimberlin. The entire page was pulled down for a very suspect reason.

One is the Indy Star articles like this one — that show original reporting of what happened in Indiana and elsewhere, starting in 1978.

Another source of amazing data is the Google Scholar page – not regular Google, but Google Scholar and focus on Legal Documents. Search for Brett Kimberlin and you’ll find numerous (but not nearly all) legal cases and judgments he’s been involved in.

Happy researching!

That is all for now, but, there will likely be updates later, so check back. I will try to give credit to everyone who links here, but if I miss you, let me know in the comments to this post!

UPDATE! Smitty at the Other McCain has a great post up you need to read.

Stacy McCain, The World’s Most Interesting Blogger, is really where this blog gets all its journalistic heft. Which is where I come off with posts like the one last nightDianna Deeley asks some interesting questions in the comments:

By the way – I finally realized how JTMP has been skating by. In their boiler plate “about us” section, in paragraph two, they write: “Nationally known entertainment attorney Jeff Cohen and other computer savvy activists”.
If the Jeff Cohen is the lawyer who signs as executive director, he’s not a nationally known entertainment lawyer.
There is, indeed, a very famous entertainment lawyer named Jeff Cohen, but it’s not the same guy. I’m wondering about this.

and

Oh, and has anyone – anyone at all – found a “famous musician” or “famous band” associated with this outfit? I haven’t.

Which leads one to The Naked Gun for an answer, as Frank Drebbin muses:

I’d known her for years. We used to go to all the police functions together. Ah, how I loved her, but she had her music. I think she had her music. She’d hang out with the Chicago Male Chorus and Symphony. I don’t recall her playing an instrument or being able to carry a tune. Yet she was on the road 300 days of the year. In fact, I bought her a harp for Christmas. She asked me what it was.

If you don’t have heft, go for ‘heh’, I always say, as of now.

For a more substantial summary of Brett Kimberlin, and what Lee Stranahan’s whole project for today is about, see

UPDATE!!

Michelle is keeping track of all the goings on

Update May 25 midnight: As I noted on Wednesday, blogs and Twitter users are uniting today for Everybody Blog About Brett Kimberlin. This post will remain the lead story all day so that newcomers to this ongoing story can get the basics. The list of bloggers below who have stepped forward to write about Kimberlin — and support those he has attacked — will continue to be updated throughout the day. E-mail if I have missed you. New blog post excerpts and latest developments will also be added below. Just keep scrolling. Patterico reminds readers that a left-leaning lawyer and left-leaning blog were also targeted, which I want to make sure to note. Be sure to check Patterico’s blog for more revelations about his plight. Also bookmark Aaron Walker’s blog,Stacy McCain’s, and Liberty Chick Mandy Nagy’s Twitter feed.Read the comprehensive investigative piece Mandy wrote at Breitbart.com that set all the insanity in motion.

Mandy and Aaron will be on Lee Stranahan and Brandon Darby’s radio show at 7am ET to talk about Kimberlin. Please remember:Kimberlin is a radical, violent, lying, dangerous felon. This is literally a matter of life and death, freedom vs. terrorism. We side with life and freedom.

Update II: Ali Akbar of the National Bloggers Club has stepped up to the plate and set up a donation page to help support the bloggers targeted by Kimberlin. Please help here if you can.

UPDATE!!!!

Patterico tells of his experience with political terrorism

You’re about to listen to one of the most bone-chilling pieces of audio you will ever hear. At least, it was to me when I first heard it.

It’s a phone call that could have gotten me killed.

In this post you will hear that audio clip. You will also read about a months-long campaign of harassment carried out by at least three individuals: Ron Brynaert, Neal Rauhauser, and Brett Kimberlin — much of it directed at critics of Brett Kimberlin. This harassment includes repeated references to critics’ family members, workplace complaints, publication of personal information such as home addresses and pictures of residences, bogus allegations of criminal activity, whisper campaigns, frivolous legal actions, and frivolous State Bar complaints.

And finally, you will hear a comparison of one of those men’s voices to that of the man who made the call that sent police to my home. And you’ll read a declaration from a forensic audio expert comparing those two voices.

In the last radio interview Andrew Breitbart ever gave, on Hugh Hewitt’s radio show, Breitbart talked about a new ruthless tactic used by thugs against political opponents:

[O]ne of the things they’ve done to people who have worked with me in the past, including an L.A. prosecutor, is to “SWAT.” That means that they’re spoofing phones, pretending to be somebody else’s phone, calling 911, and saying “I killed somebody” and then the person’s home is met with the guns drawn, the SWAT and the helicopters, in a horrifying act. It’s happened twice: once in New Jersey, once in Los Angeles, with an L.A. County . . . prosecutor who [is] associated with me.”

I am that L.A. County prosecutor. And in this post, you’ll hear the hoax call that sent police to my house, pointing loaded guns at me.

Read it all, it is chilling.

UPDATE!!!!! Mark Tapscott writing at the Washington Examiner touches on the assault on free speech

The enemies of free speech and thought have lately turned to more subtle tools of suppression than merely shouting down speakers. Among these are extortionary threats to launch false charges of racism against companies that support politically incorrect groups, such as the American Legislative Exchange Council.

But far more sinister is the tactic adopted by Brett Kimberlin, an activist and the founder of the group Velvet Revolution who was convicted in 1981 of exploding eight bombs in 1978 in Speedway, Ind. One of his bombs blew off the leg of a man who subsequently committed suicide.

Nowadays, Kimberlin targets conservative bloggers like Aaron Worthing and Robert Stacy McCain in Maryland, and Patrick Frey of Patterico’s Pontifications in California. Why? For publishing facts about Kimberlin’s criminal record.

Kimberlin harasses his targets by, among many other ways, filing false charges in courts that require expensive, time-consuming litigation, disrupting his targets’ workplaces, and dropping dark hints about spouses and kids.

Here’s how Patterico describes Kimberlin’s tactics against Worthing in seeking a “peace order”: “It is beyond the scope of this post to detail every way in which Kimberlin’s peace order is misleading and deceptive. Kimberlin complains that Aaron spoke of purchasing a gun, implying that Aaron’s statement was aggressive — when Aaron actually said he had bought a gun to defend himself.

“Kimberlin claims that Aaron is responsible for ‘alerts’ coming to his email inbox, suggesting Aaron is emailing him, when in fact the ‘alerts’ Kimberlin is talking about are Google alerts. If you write about this guy on the Internet, he may run to a judge and say you are causing abusive alerts to come to his email.

“You might say: What’s the harm in getting a peace order? I have watched this play out in other venues and I know just what Kimberlin is up to. As soon as he gets a ‘peace order,’ he will run back to court the very next time Aaron mentions his name in public.

Glenn Beck is talking about Kimberlin listen here

UPDATE!!!!!! Bob Belvedere is all over this!

Bloggers, Tweeters, and Other Members of the Allied Internet Force!

You are about to embark upon the Great Crusade, toward which we have striven these many months. The eyes of the world are upon you. The hopes and prayers of liberty-loving people everywhere march with you. In company with our brave Allies and brothers-in-arms on other Fronts, you will bring about the destruction of the Leftist war machine, the elimination of Progressive tyranny over the oppressed peoples of The West, and security for ourselves in a free online world.

Your task will not be an easy one. Your enemy is well trained, well equipped and battle hardened. He has many friends within the governments at all levels. He will fight savagely and unfairly. He lives by the creed: ‘by any means necessary’.

But this is the year 2012! Much has happened since the Leftist triumphs of 2006-2008. The Rightosphere has inflicted upon the Leftists great defeats, in open battle, man-to-man. Our ridicule offensive has seriously reduced their strength on Twitter and their capacity to wage war on the Internet. The tide has turned! The free men and women of the online world are marching together to Victory!

I have full confidence in your courage and devotion to duty and skill in this battle. We will accept nothing less than full Victory!

Good luck! And let us beseech the blessing of Almighty God upon this great and noble undertaking.

-If you read one post on this Everybody Blog About Brett Kimberlin Day, please make it Patterico’s entitled: Convicted Bomber Brett Kimberlin, Neal Rauhauser, Ron Brynaert, and Their Campaign of Political Terrorism.

It shows you all of the methods being used by these Leftists in their campaign to destroy people on the Right and and anyone on the Left who dares rise to our defense, who do not follow The Party Line, who refuse to look the other way as they carry out their nefarious schemes. Patterico’s post exposes this cabal’s strategy and tactics, how these Leftist thugs terrorize honest, decent, law-abiding people. When you read it, you will also see how Patterico almost was killed as these bastards SWATted him [BTW: One of the things you will find out is that Ace has been a target].

-Ali Akbar and the folks over at the National Bloggers Club have, once again, stepped up to help, as Stacy McCain [still in hiding with his family] informs us:

The National Bloggers Club has been a valuable ally in supporting and defending bloggers targeted by harassment and intimidation. Today is “Everybody Blog Brett Kimberlin Day.” I join with National Bloggers Club president Ali Akbar in sincerely requesting that readers concerned about defending First Amendment rights online visit the club’s special site, KimberlinFiles.org, and please give generously. Fellow bloggers can help by including the image and link in their coverage of the Kimberlin case.

-Also, check out the resource site Who Is Brett Kimberlain? here.

-That Innocuous Girl has put together a timeline of events in Kimberlin’s pastthat is quite useful. As she explains:

UPDATE!!!!!!! Chris at Wyblog offers his support, and the lucky bastard even got linked by Dana Loesch! I am jealous.

Why? Because they deserve it!

Why would I mock Feminists? Actually, if you really pay attention to Feminists, they do  a darned fine job of mocking themselves, but, I like to help them. It is the least I can do to help empower Feminists! Stacy McCain, like me, does his best to empower the Feminists. I mean just LOOK at this headline from The Other McCain!

The ‘Million Ugly Women’ March

Stacy, of course, being sensitive to the rampant BS spewed by the Feminists, tries to clarify the headline, so as to not offend unnecessarily.

R. Stacy McCain

Stacy McCain, helping Feminists be angry! Because he cares!

OK, I’m lying. There weren’t really a million of them:

Now, I am sure Stacy would point out that, even though there were not one million ugly Feminists, there WAS enough ugliness, both physically and ideologically to make up for the lack of numbers!

Feeding the Feminists, however? Neither Stacy nor myself would attempt that! You could lose a hand or worse!

Shocking news from The Other McCain

One of my favorite bloggers, Smitty, of The Other McCain, was the victim of a brutal attack recently. Who attacked him? Angry Feminuts? Radical environmentalists? Union thugs? No, perp is even more shocking . The attack was caught on camera, and the following image will stun you

HA! My niece Savannah Grace has unleashed similar attacks on me. Sure, those babies look adorable, but, they can turn on you.

Lance Burri had some fun with this too, over at Right Wing News.

And reporting on the looming Primary there, the one that will likely finish off the Sweater Vest for good, leaving us with Newt or Mitt. ICK! That is akin to picking between Roseanne or Rosie for a wife. ICK! Can we hit the rewind button now? Now that we know what we will be stuck with? Maybe we would not be so quick to dismiss candidates that are better qualified than these two?

Speaking of ICK, where the Hell did Stacy get this shirt?

One of these years I am going to get to CPAC

But, not this year it seems, not quite enough of $$$$$$$$$$$, but maybe next year. One of the biggest reasons I would like to go is to get a picture with Michelle Malkin, my blogging role model, and to meet the likes of Bob Belvedere, Stacy McCain, and a host of other fellow bloggers.

Smitty, of The Other McCain is going, and I would love to have a beer, or three, with him. He is of like mind on many issues, and one of the very best bloggers out there. This morning Smitty offered up his thoughts on CPAC

I bring up Niklas because we’re planning to bring him down for at least a fly-by. Looking at the speaker list, I hope to get him a photo op with Sarah Palin. The other attendee that I’m looking forward to meeting is Daniel Hannan. I am jealous of Niklas already, as he is far better looking than I. No, I’m actually not jealous. Rather, I’m motivated to work hard at fixing the cesspool of American politics, so that, when he’s my age, he has no legitimate cause for anger at my for not trying harder.

Yep! Cesspool is the image I see when I think of American politics. And like Smitty, wanting to fix it for his young son, I would love my niece, Savannah Grace, to inherit an America which still honors our constitution. Yep, that is why I do this blog, because I think it the best way to have the biggest influence on taking America in the right direction.

Oh so close

Wow! This month has been by far the busiest here at The Daley Gator! We have smashed the 75,000 hit mark this month, and need less than 4,000 to break 80,000 hits for the month. We also need less than 4,000 hits to break the magic mark of 1,000,000 hits! I would love to get there by New Years Eve!

Thanks to all our loyal readers, and to all those other blogs that regularly link us, blogroll us, and that have offered helping hands to us. Special thanks to The Other McCain. Stacy McCain and Smitty have certainly been very generous with links and advice. One of the biggest aids to a new blogger is getting help from a big, well, known blog. The Other McCain has certainly done that for us.

More big thanks to Donald Douglas at American Power, Bob Belvedere at Camp of the Saints, Mike at The Classic Liberal, Chris Wysocki at Wyblog, Pat Austin at So It Goes in Shreveport, the Mind Numbed Robot, and to Michelle Malkin, who, though she does not know it, inspired me to start blogging.

Biggest thanks, though, go to Edward Daley, the Daley part of the Daley Gator. The first and only person I thought of to help me get a blog going was Ed! And certainly this blog would not be as successful if not for his hard work, and creative genius.

The end of Cain?

I have lots of thoughts about the Herman Cain campaign, and the current attacks on him. I will comment after all the facts come out. For me there is too much unknown yet. For the best opinion as to the state of things right now, visit The Other McCain, where Stacy McCain has some great insight and thoughts.

Shoes are now dropping faster than I can keep track:

Oklahoma political consultant Chris Wilson says if the woman behind the reported sexual harassment complaint against GOP Presidential hopeful Herman Cain is allowed to speak publicly, it’ll be the end of Cain’s run for the White House.
Interviewed today on KTOK’s Mullins in the Morning, Wilson, of Wilson-Perkins-Allen Opinion Research headquartered in Washington, D.C. explained he was a witness to the incident. “I was the pollster at the National Restaurant Association when Herman Cain was head of it and I was around a couple of times when this happened and anyone who was involved with the NRA at the time, knew that this was gonna come up.”
Wilson described the woman as a low level staffer who was maybe two years out of college. “This occurred at a restaurant in Crystal City (Virginia) and everybody was aware of it,” he continued. “It was only a matter of time because so many people were aware of what took place, so many people were aware of her situation, the fact she left — everybody knew with the campaign that this would eventually come up.”
Wilson said for legal reasons, he can not discuss details of the incident. “But if she comes out and talks about it, like I said, it’ll probably be the end of his campaign.” The consultant said Cain is digging himself a deeper hole by challenging the woman.

The fact that Chris Wilson works for a firm that has been associated with Rick Perry’s campaign may confirm widespread suspicions about the origin of Sunday’s Politico story, but as matters now stand, such speculation is irrelevant to whether Cain can survive this. Whatever the motives of the Politico sources, Cain’s fate depends on the specifics of the accusation and the credibility of his accuser.

As I said I will save my thoughts for later, when I know all the details.
