Why does this man hate Al Gore so much?

So, what if a man went to the Arctic Circle to write  about how the Polar bear population was being decimated by global warming, only to find out that Polar Bears are more numerous than in the 1970′s? Clearly this can be nothing more than a seething hatred for Al gore. This man Zac Unger clearly does not want Gore to eke out a living by travelling the globe in private jets to tell people the Polar Bears are vanishing!

Author Zac Unger was originally drawn to the arctic circle to write a “mournful elegy” about how global warming was decimating the polar bear populations. He was surprised to find that the polar bears were not in such dire straits after all.

“There are far more polar bears alive today than there were 40 years ago,” Unger told NPR in an interview about his new book, “Never Look a Polar Bear in The Eye.” “There are about 25,000 polar bears alive today worldwide. In 1973, there was a global hunting ban. So once hunting was dramatically reduced, the population exploded.”

“This is not to say that global warming is not real or is not a problem for the polar bears,” Unger added. “But polar bear populations are large, and the truth is that we can’t look at it as a monolithic population that is all going one way or another.”

Oh come on Zac, give Al a break, I mean he is struggling to make ends meet. Just look at the hovel he is forced to live in

Via Real Estalker, Al and Tipper Gore have picked up a $8.875M luxury getaway in Montecito, CA; a swanky zip code that has attracted big name residents like Oprah Winfrey, Steve Martin, and Kirk Douglas. Records show that the approximately 6,500 sq. foot home boasts 6 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, a large pool house, 6 fireplaces, wood framed french doors, and carved stone detailing throughout

How long until Al Gore and his followers are killing those damned uncooperative Polar Bears?

Folks, Gore and his followers at The Church of Climate Change fanaticism might be doing a better job of convincing everyone their claims of global warming are true, if only the Polar Bears they insist are going extinct would freaking die already!

The longer we look at the Global Cooling Global Warming Global Climate Disruption scam, the more and more it starts to fall apart. One of the iconic images of the scam is this, featuring the poor polar bears…

Well, that’s not quite the case, according to our friends to the great white north…

The debate about climate change and its impact on polar bears has intensified with the release of a survey that shows the bear population in a key part of northern Canada is far larger than many scientists thought, and might be growing.

The number of bears along the western shore of Hudson Bay, believed to be among the most threatened bear subpopulations, stands at 1,013 and could be even higher, according to the results of an aerial survey released Wednesday by the Government of Nunavut. That’s 66 per cent higher than estimates by other researchers who forecasted the numbers would fall to as low as 610 because of warming temperatures that melt ice faster and ruin bears’ ability to hunt. The Hudson Bay region, which straddles Nunavut and Manitoba, is critical because it’s considered a bellwether for how polar bears are doing elsewhere in the Arctic.

66% higher population!  Well, that really pokes a hole in the alarmist’s claims, does it not?

The study shows that “the bear population is not in crisis as people believed,” said Drikus Gissing, Nunavut’s director of wildlife management. “There is no doom and gloom.”

Man, if this type of news keeps coming out, Al Gore and his flunkies might have to start working on  another scam.

New scientific evidence crushes polar ice is melting theory, Al Gore, baby seals hardest hit

Ah, what I would give to look Gore in the eye and say “Look, Al, the science is settled”!

For years we have been warned the Arctic sea ice is going to disappear and all the polar bears are going to die, or something.

Anyway, it’s mostly bunk:

Danish researchers analysed ancient pieces of driftwood in north Greenland which they say is an accurate way to measure the extent of ancient ice loss.

Writing in the journal Science, the team found evidence that ice levels were about 50% lower 5,000 years ago.

They say changes to wind systems can slow down the rate of melting.

They argue, therefore, that a tipping point under current scenarios is unlikely.

But, but, but…carbon dioxide. It’s gonna kill us all. Polar bears and Santa Claus.

Go read the whole thing, it is great!
