Eating tacos and drinking tequila shots are offensive to people of Mexican descent, according to a Latino student group at Northwestern University.

“Drinking tequila shots, eating tacos, and wearing sombreros do not commemorate Mexican culture; on the contrary, that offends, marginalizes and isolates many of our friends, classmates, and community leaders and casts our entire community in poor light,” wrote members of the group Alianza in a letter that was published in The Daily Northwestern.

The letter was signed by members of the university’s Associated Student Government as well as members of the Latino group in response to Cinco de Mayo celebrations.

“Some of our peers choose to throw ‘Mexican-themed’ parties that are culturally insensitive, offensive and detrimental to the Northwestern community,” they wrote.

White men have much to discuss about mass shootings

Imagine if African-American men and boys were committing mass shootings month after month, year after year. Articles and interviews would flood the media, and we’d have political debates demanding that African-Americans be “held accountable.”

Have these two ladies ever heard of Chicago? Black men and boys are slaughtering people, mainly other Black men and boys in Chicago. NO, most of the shootings are not “mass shootings” but the death toll is in the “mass” hundreds annually. And, the politicians, which these two nimrods think would be demanding accountability are silent. In fact most of the blame for “gun deaths” because being shot is somehow worse than being strangled or stabbed to death from politicians and the media is on law-abiding gun owners. Good grief, these two numb skulls disprove their entire theory in the first paragraph! No wonder the Washington Post could not wait to run it!

Oh and it gets worser and worser as these two buffoons keep digging in the Eternal Pit of Liberal Stupidity

If life were equitable, white male gun-rights advocates would face some serious questions to assess their degree of credibility and objectivity. We would expect them to explain:

What facets of white male culture create so many mass shootings?

So many? Seriously? There very, very few mass shootings in America. Of course the media sensationalizes them, and they are horrific but very rare. Far more common are Americans defending themselves with firearms, sorry I do not know the breakdown along racial lines, skin color is unimportant to me

Why are so many white men and boys producing and entertaining themselves with violent video games and other media?

Why do so many White men play violent video games? Well, because they are fun, certainly more fun than sloshing our way through the incoherent ramblings of the Childress sisters. Of course, to be fair, sawing your own thumbs off is likely more fun than reading what these two write.

Why do white men buy, sell and manufacture guns for profit; attend gun shows; and demonstrate for unrestricted gun access disproportionately more than people of other ethnicities or races?

Because there is a long tradition of gun ownership and self-defense here in America. Of course many women and many minorities also honor these traditions, and many White men oppose them, but the Childress Sisters of the Traveling Stupidity are too obsessed with skin color to note that obvious fact. Just yesterday, at the gun range, I was shooting next to two folks qualifying for the CHL’s. One was a young Black woman. Being a man, and therefore a sexist, just ask any Feminut, I noted that she was quite pretty. Two things stopped me from asking her out. First was that she is likely 15- 2o years younger than me. The second thing was that she is a better shot than me. And at some point I would likely make her angry, so….. I kid of course. I never feel threatened at the range. The young woman was entirely comfortable as well.  Imagine that, a White man A.K.A. The Source of All Evil according to the Childress sisters, flirting with a black woman at a gun range! I am sure the Childress sisters’ heads would explode!

Why are white male congressmen leading the fight against gun control?

Hmmm, Like Ted Cruz? Tim Scott? Marsha Blackburn? You can bet that Allen West would be fighting against this too, as would Mia Love, if they had been elected last November. The glaring fact is that MOST of Congress are White men, and MOST of those  fighting FOR gun control are White men too!

Charlotte and Harriet are identical twins who live near each other in Oregon. They are active in their communities, serving on boards of public and historic parks, schools, and neighborhood and community organizations. They enjoy long walks, camping, commuting by bicycle/walking/bus, organic gardening, cycling, dancing, reading, needlework, backpacking, and cuddling with beloved cats and dogs.

And, as children they fell out of the Stupid Tree, hitting every branch on the way down apparently! These two women are obviously highly educated, yet seem to be completely devoid of any common sense. Their “expertise” seems to be in engineering, math, physics, and chemistry. It certainly is not in the subject they are writing about here. Instead they feel, rather than think their way through what they write in the Post. It is like I say, they are educated beyond their hat size

Students at Brown University will host a workshop called “Protect me from what I desire,” which purports to help gay minority students resist their same-sex attractions to white people.

The event is sponsored by the Comprehensive Allyship Network, and will take place on April 8th. Though it will feature conversations about many aspects of gay sexuality, the dominant theme will be racial, according to the event’s Facebook page.

“Some of us… find ourselves falling always for the white queers or other bodies that possess dominant power, wishing we could have more agency in the process, be more intentional about who we desire and how,” the page reads.

Students will be segregated by race for a portion of the event. White students will be in one group, and persons of color in another. Organizers described this session as “intentional, anti-racist, and feminist.”

In addition to confronting white supremacy, the workshop will also explore how “ableism, capitalism, and heteronormativity,” impact same-sex desire.

I would comment but I would not know where to start to dissect this cancerous mass of Leftist insanity. I mean these folks are so demented that they make a Joe Biden speech sound almost lucid, note, I said ALMOST lucid

Philadelphia Premier Mayor Michael Nutter who is not down with that whole freedom of the press thing

The Philadelphia Human Relations Commission has launched an investigation at the request of the mayor after a well-known magazine published an essay that explored perspectives of white citizens on the issue of race relations.

Mayor Michael Nutter called on the commission to consider rebuking both Philadelphia Magazine and writer Bob Huber noting that “the First Amendment, like other constitutional rights, is not an unfettered right.”

Nutter’s fury was directed at a cover story titled, “Being White in Philly.” The story included conversations with mostly anonymous residents who detailed race relations in the City of Brotherly Love.

Go read it all. This is a great example of Liberal hypocrisy. Liberals love to say we need an “open discussion” on race in America. A discussion where no one holds anything back. That is what they say. What they mean is we need to have Liberals lecture us on how racism is inherent in America, and that racial injustice is rampant, and anyone holding a differing view is welcome to shut up! Obviously Mayor Nutter is eager to unleash his thought police on to those who do not know when to shut up.

Texas legislator pushes gun safety classes………..

Liberals will freak over this of course, but I think it is a helluva idea!

 

State Representative James White hopes a new bill he’s proposed will help more high school students across the state handle guns properly.

It would give schools the choice to offer a class, taught by a certified concealed handgun license instructor or peace officer, on how safely to use guns like pistols, revolvers and shotguns.

Gabriel Rivera, a Douglas MacArthur High School student, believes the classes could stop tragedies like the one at Sandy Hook Elementary School.

“It’s not who can use it, bad or good. It’s who can use it properly,” said Rivera.  “It think it’s a good way for people to be safe with weapons and guns in general.”

But should guns be in the hands of students, some of whom are barely even teenagers? Peggy Weyel says yes. She runs a hunter education program for children as young as nine.

“I’ve hunted with several of the grandchildren of the people who have been on leases with. And those kiddos are some of the safest hunters I’ve ever seen,” states Weyel.

Like I said, Libs will flip out over this. I can hear them now bemoaning the thought of  a teenager handling  a gun. Funny, Libs want high school kids to handle, and have condoms, they want them to be educated about sex, and safe sex. But they do not want them handling guns or learning gun safety? Maybe if we promise to put condoms on the guns, then Libs will approve? No problem!

The U.S. Postal Service’s decision to eliminate Saturday delivery could disproportionally hurt minority groups, according to Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.), the ranking member on the House Oversight Committee.

“You’re talking about just this reduction … from six days to five days will cut anywhere from 25,000 to 30,000 employees. And with regard to Asian, African-Americans, and Hispanics, they comprise about 40 percent of the Postal Service employees,” Cummings told Melissa Harris-Perry on MSNBC Friday night. “So it’s logical to believe if they were to lose that 30,000 jobs, easily 40 percent of them would be African-Americans, Hispanics, and Asian-Americans.”

Solis said her biggest disappointment as Secretary of Labor was that she wished she would of, “had the ability to really get more businesses to understand the importance of having confidence in the economy and hiring up more people,” and hoped business leaders would help more young people coming out of college with more emphasize internships and mentorships.

Solis also said that in many ways the Obama administration “did not get the kind of support we needed originally when he took office for the American Recovery Act funds” and blamed “a small group known as the tea party movement” for not engaging with the president and “hurting the American public, our economy, and the future of our country.”

No clue, no class, no credibility, that is Team Obama’s legacy!

ABC 2 – Two 6-year-old elementary school students were suspended from White Marsh Elementary School in Talbot County on Monday for using their fingers as imaginary guns while at recess. They were playing a game of cops and robbers on the playground.

One of the boy’s father, Army Staff Sergeant. Stephen Grafton, says the schools decision to suspend the boys crossed the line. Some parents on the Eastern Shore agree with him.

The Talbot County Board of Education released a statement on the suspension saying, “It is frustrating for school systems because a complete explanation of events cannot be provided due to confidentiality requirements under the federal educational rights and privacy act.”

Some believe gun play of any kind is not appropriate for school. They say in today’s world it’s hard to tell how far is too far.

Educators say parents can use this as a teaching point and talk about the importance of not shooting at one another.

Actually, parents could use this as a teaching point to get their kids out of public schools and away from morons like these “educators” who have no business being near kids!

Now, most Liberals reading this might accuse Herschel, and other gun owners of living in fear. that is a common trend among the gun grabbers now. you accuse gun owners of some irrational paranoia or fear, as if being aware that there bad people in the world is somehow irrational. Not at all being aware and prepared is not only NOT irrational, it is the state of mind of reasonable people.

I have told the story several times of the masked man that attempted to rob me as I exited the restaurant I ran in Dallas in 1998. He failed because I was aware, I saw his feet as he lurked behind the fire escape behind the building. He failed because I was prepared, I had my hand on my Colt .45 in my bag, as I always did when leaving late at night. And he failed because he lost his will to rob me when he was looking down the barrel of my gun. A story I have not told very much is what happened about a month later. A story I share now

In the mid 1990′a a man friend of my uncle in Tampa, a Tampa  police officer shot and killed a man attempting to carjack him. The story always stuck with me. and whenever I have stopped at a red light or stop sign I have made it a point to be aware of the surroundings, and especially of anyone approaching the car. So, after leaving work, with my gun in my bag. I drove out of the parking area behind our building, turned right onto a side street leading to Record Street, from there, it is a quick trip to I-35 South. Stopping at the light, waiting to turn left. I checked my mirrors and saw a man approaching the divers side of my car. As he got even with the back of my car, he made a move towards the door. I pulled out my gun just as he was even with the drivers window. He raised his hands, immediately, turning the way he had come.

Now, what was his purpose?  To ask for money? Ask for a ride? To rob me, take my car? The manner in which he came towards the car seems to indicate he had no good intentions. And it is clear the presence of a prepared and armed driver dissuaded his intentions.

Which brings us back to those high-capacity magazines. They are not about fear, or paranoia. It is about being prepared, because a responsible person prepares for situations that likely will never happen. Which might lead a reader to ask if I have an “assault weapon” or if my handguns hive “high-capacity” magazines. Maybe, maybe not. The point is that my home is my home, and anyone breaking in is a threat to me and those I love. The point is that it is my DUTY to defend my home, and those in it from harm. The point is I do my best to be prepared. The point is that anyone breaking in is, as I said, a threat, and I will use whatever force necessary to stop that threat!

 

Why does the Left see the decline of middle class White Christians as a blessing?

Alec Baldwin is gleeful after the election, and apparently he is euphoric over what he sees as the decline of White middle class Christians

The politically progressive actor rejoiced at President Barack Obama’s re-election precisely because it means his demographic, to his eyes, is politically on its last legs.

“Obama’s election signaled one change. His re-election signaled another — the end of white, middle-aged Christian male dominance,” the star of NBC’s “30 Rock” tweeted Saturday through his “Alec Baldwin Foundation” account.

Baldwin joins a long list of white liberals who eagerly use their own race as a pejorative

Yes, think of all the times the Left, often White Liberals, use terms like “lily White” or vanilla, or Cracker as if White is bad? I had a professor in college, in an American Sign Language class who called me white bread and peanut butter, as in stale, boring, and uninteresting. And yes, she was White. She was also overbearing and rude, a fact I shared with her and the whole class after her remark. I had another professor, in a Sociology course that told a story of Native Americans allowing a child to beat them in races. He then asked, in a serious tone, if any of us could imagine White people ever doing such a thing. And, yes, he was as White as they come. Most people in the class were stunned at his question, and we gave example after example of how our families had done similar things, I imagine people of all races do these things myself.

I have never understood this side of the Left, until today, I was thinking of Baldwin’s remarks, and  it hit me, the Left, and Baldwin is certainly a Leftist, have a very perverse definition of equality. In their view, White Americans, of all socioeconomic classes have it better and easier than minorities. So, there is some inherent inequality there that the Left must put right. Usually, that inequality is, in the mind of the Left, racism, sexism, or the evils of Capitalism, which is evil because it produces not just winners and losers, but different levels of winners as well. Of course, America itself is an easy target for the Left to blame. America has been a nation with a White majority, a nation where most are Christian, and where Capitalism has been the economic system for decades upon decades. And all of those things make America bad because America has inequality.

Of course, every nation has inequality, every nation always has, and always will, but the Left cannot tolerate inequality. This is why they can look at the Israel Palestine conflict and so readily sympathize with Palestine.  Terror groups in Palestine attack Israel, targeting civilians, and the Left says nothing. But, when Israel, uses its military to strike back, targeting ONLY terrorists, and doing everything it can not to harm civilians, the Left goes ballistic. They find it unfair, because Israel has far superior weapons, they have even called for Israel to only use “fairness” in retaliating. Fairness, in this case, means that if a rocket fired into Israel kills two Israelis, Israel should only kill two terrorists. Of course such a course will only lead to a longer, bloodier fight, but, it appeases the insensibilities of the left. But back to America and Baldwin’s inane comments.

Alec Baldwin and the Left see America as a bad nation. We are richer than other nations, we are more powerful than other nations, we have a higher standard of living and more prosperity than other nations, this is not fair, it is a clear case of inequality to the Leftist mind. This explains why the Left, if you notice, NEVER encourages poor nations to emulate America, or other Western nations. A sane person would think that teaching the less successful nations to copy the economies and governments of the West would lead at least some of those less wealthy nations to a more prosperous existence. Yet, the Left always wants to punish the more successful nations, especially America. They see this as more fair, because, even if some of the less successful nations raise themselves up, they still might be unequal to the West, and that equals inequality in Leftist thinking.

So, therefore, the Left prefers to use their “redistribute the wealth” strategy to make things more equal. All this will ever do is to tear down the West, and instead of spreading the wealth, it will spread the misery instead, but, that is more desirable to the Left, because it means all nations will be more equal.

So, Alec Baldwin, and the Left hate inequality, and thus hate America, and thus hate the people they associate with America’s rise as the world power, White, Christian men. What they miss in their hatred is that America has not become great because of skin color, or religion, but because of freedom, and opportunity. In other words it is not the skin color of the Founders, it is their ideals that set forth the successful nation the Left has been trying to tear down for 200 plus years.

Are peanut butter and jelly sandwiches racist? A bizarre question, to say the least, but one that at least one school administrator is asking out in Portland, Oregon. Verenice Gutierrez, principal at Harvey Scott K-8 School, seems to believe that there are racial connotations associated with the common lunch-time meal.

According to Gutierrez, using the example of a peanut butter sandwich in classroom lessons is technically a problematic and discriminatory move — one that was made by a teacher in her building last school year. While such a notion may bring out laughs among those who find it absurd, the principal explains her logic.

“What about Somali or Hispanic students, who might not eat sandwiches?,” she said. “Another way would be to say: ‘Americans eat peanut butter and jelly, do you have anything like that?’ Let them tell you. Maybe they eat torta. Or pita.”

ARRGGGH! How did this dunce get to be in charge of anything? But, it gets more inane

Portland Public Schools is in the process of integrating “Courageous Conversations,” an equity training that has been coming in phases over the past few years. The Portland Tribune explainsthe district’s intentions, in detail:

Through intensive staff trainings, frequent staff meetings, classroom observations and other initiatives, the premise is that if educators can understand their own “white privilege,” then they can change their teaching practices to boost minority students’ performance.

My head might explode if I go on, but, I will risk it this is where these idiots, like this principal, get their wacky ideas

The Tribune has more about the principal and the district‘s program that she’s seeking to utilize in the school:

Like many if not all of PPS’ leaders, Gutierrez has gone through California-based consultant Glenn Singleton’s “Coaching for Educational Equity,” a weeklong seminar on race and how it affects life; she’s also become an “affiliate,” certified to teach the equity curriculum; and she serves on the district’s administrative committee to address systematic racism, a group that meets every other week.

“Our focus school and our Superintendent’s mandate that we improve education for students of color, particularly Black and Brown boys, will provide us with many opportunities to use the protocols of Courageous Conversations in data teams, team meetings, staff meetings, and conversations amongst one another,” Guitierrez’ letter to staff reads.

Good God! Where is common sense? Does anyone still have it? This is the end result of dumbing everything down. You end up with nothing but dummies! This is what the Left has done to us folks. Now we have to teach students according to their skin color? Talk about a racist theory? That is flat out racist!

And to him, Black Americans must be offended, and must feel victimized constantly. Again, because to Toure racism is everywhere, just ask him, he will show you his decoder ring. This is the break so many folks who have long believed in the legendary Bigfoot have been waiting for! Officials in Texas are investigating the gruesome death of a rare white buffalo calf found mutilated and skinned on a ranch 50 miles outside of Dallas.

Hunt County Lakota Buffalo Ranch owner Arby Little Soldier told KDFW-TV he and his wife returned from out of town to find the grisly discovery. The calf was considered sacred by some in the Native American community; its mother was also found dead the next day.

According to KDFW, the non-albino white buffalo was given the name Lightning Medicine Cloud in a special ceremony last summer. The odds of a white buffalo birth are reportedly said to be 1 in 10 million.

“My people – my brothers, my sisters – are hurt for what has happened here at this ranch,” Little Soldier told the station. “You don’t think things like this are going to happen to such a sacred animal, a sacred family.”

The Hunt County Sheriff’s Office was notified of the incident by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and is conducting an investigation with the help of the Department of Homeland Security and the National Indian Council, KDFW reported.

Whoever did this deserves to be beaten with a stick. And trust me, there is no shortage of Texans that would gladly do it!

Just a few questions about the Trayvon Martin Race Pimpapalooza

Martin died in late February. Why did it take nearly a month for the for the “outrage” and media saturation to start?Did the media sit on this until they thought it would help Obama as much as possible?

If George Zimmerman is tried, how fair will his trial be? How much political pressure will there be for a guilty verdict? Might a DA be persuaded to pursue a trial even if there is a lack of evidence?

If Zimmerman is tried and found not guilty, what then? Riots?

Will the Left ever admit that they are wrong if Zimmerman is found to have acted in a justifiable manner, or if he is acquitted? Or will the Left ramp up the racial rhetoric? Yeah, I know silly question there. The Left NEVER ever admits they are wrong.

Will President Obama ever stand up and chastise the likes of Je$$e Jackson and Al Sharpton? Will he ever take a firm stand against the vigilanteism being pushed by the New Black Panthers?

Will those who are trying to lynch Zimmerman’s reputation ever apologize if he is proven innocent?

Is this a test drive for more manufactured racial tension and “outrage” as the election nears?

How many people right now, still think George Zimmerman is White? He isn’t, but much of the rhetoric from the Left is being worded to make us think he is.

Will the media ever make clear that Zimmerman is much smaller than Martin? That matters doesn’t it?

Finally, will someone pay the price for all the despicable hate speech, and racial bomb throwing the Left is  doing? What if someone tries to “arrest” Zimmerman? Will someone become a needless victim, of retaliation, or “justice” because they are White?

How about that? Think about it.

The media leftists have no journalistic principles do they? The ditz, AKA Soleded O’Brein is so busy defending Obama by trying to smear her guest that she looks like exactly what she is,a useful idiot. The first panelist to speak,whoever the Hell he is, apparently only cares about skin color,and that Joel Pollack is “White” and must be a racist somehow. Funny that, as Blazing Cat Fur points out

They even accuse Joel Pollack of being racist. A Jewish South African, who’s married to a black (or mixed) South African, with a mixed child? Oh yeah, that just screams racist.”

Get ready for eight more months of these “journalists” acting as snipers for Obama. It is truly sad that people like O’Brein spent so much time and effort to get to where she is, yet throws out all that work, as well as every shred of cedibility she might have, to shill and cover for Obama.

It’s been established that Barack Obama counseled his fellow Harvard law students to open up their hearts and minds to Derrick Bell because he was speaking “truth.” A 1990 New York Times book review of Bell’s “And We Are Not Saved The Elusive Quest for Racial Justice“ sheds light on just how racialist was Bell’s alleged truth, which Barack Obama embraced. Bell didn’t only de-legitimize white critics based upon race, he de-legitimized his white liberals colleagues, as well, seeing them as incapable of being anything other than oppressors. (Emphasis mine.)

”Even liberal white scholars … have to imagine that they are not oppressors. Black people have stories and experiences that provide the basis not only for their lives but for their scholarship.” Does he then consider it impossible for white scholars to understand and to teach on this issue? “It’s not that they can’t, but they do face barriers to their ability to explain the reality of racism in America.”

Racialism is so woven into the thinking of Bell, and many believe Barack Obama, any white individual, regardless of ideology or personal attribute lacks the ability to understand and relate racism in America. Consequently, the notion of racial quotas is not simply based upon some idea of equality of opportunity, they must be imposed as white’s are inferior to blacks in an area Bell and Obama see as critical. While we like to think of equality as color blind, that is not the view Bell shared as a “truth” Obama embraced and encouraged others to do, as well.

Another radical with close ties to Obama. And, another incident of the media covering it up. So the media not only does not look into these stories, they not only IGNORE them when they are faced with them. The media actually attacks those that do look into them.
