Yeah, sure Newt, because Mandela was JUST LIKE Adams, Jefferson, Madison, and Franklin

There goes Newt, doing one of his two favorite things, lecturing Conservatives. this time on the wonder that was Mandela, who according to Newt is just like our Founders

Yesterday I issued a heartfelt and personal statement about the passing of President Nelson Mandela. I said that his family and his country would be in my prayers and Callista’s prayers.

I was surprised by the hostility and vehemence of some of the people who reacted to me saying a kind word about a unique historic figure.

So let me say to those conservatives who don’t want to honor Nelson Mandela, what would you have done?

Mandela was faced with a vicious apartheid regime that eliminated all rights for blacks and gave them no hope for the future. This was a regime which used secret police, prisons and military force to crush all efforts at seeking freedom by blacks.

What would you have done faced with that crushing government?

What would you do here in America if you had that kind of oppression?

Some of the people who are most opposed to oppression from Washington attack Mandela when he was opposed to oppression in his own country.

After years of preaching non-violence, using the political system, making his case as a defendant in court, Mandela resorted to violence against a government that was ruthless and violent in its suppression of free speech.

As Americans we celebrate the farmers at Lexington and Concord who used force to oppose British tyranny. We praise George Washington for spending eight years in the field fighting the British Army’s dictatorial assault on our freedom.

Patrick Henry said, “Give me liberty or give me death.”

Thomas Jefferson wrote and the Continental Congress adopted that “all men are created equal, and they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, among which are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”

Doesn’t this apply to Nelson Mandela and his people?

It applies to all people Newt, but Communism, which Mandela embraced, never respects or enables liberty does it? You can sugar coat Mandela’s record if you like Newt, but you might want to consider that allowing to Left to rewrite Mandela’s legacy, and allowing them to bestow sainthood upon him do not aid the truth or liberty. If you wish to bow to Mandela fine Newt, go right ahead, you and Charles Johnson can maybe get a drink or two and talk about how much y’all have in common. After all, Mandela ONLY turned to Communism AFTER those Conservatives refused to back him and oppose apartheid right?

Mandela was “appointed the leader of the newly formed Umkhonto we Sizwe guerrilla movement, an underground military arm of the ANC,” in 1961, to quote the Washington Post. “After raiding the ANC offices, police [found] documents outlining an armed campaign to overthrow the government. Mandela and nine others [were] charged with conspiracy. . . . After an eight-month trial, Mandela and seven others [were] sentenced to life in prison [in 1964] and taken to Robben Island.”

This happened when the presidents of the United States were John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson. If JFK or LBJ (both Democrats) protested the arrest and imprisonment of Mandela, or did anything to end apartheid in South Africa, this has escaped my notice. But as to the wisdom of U.S. policy, either under JFK or LBJ or later under Reagan, it is important to remember that the chief object of our foreign policy was opposition to communism, especially Soviet-backed “wars of national liberation” in Third World countries. Charles Johnson will not let the evident fact that he doesn’t know a goddamned thing about Cold War history (or any other history, for that matter) impede the use of his “Race Detective” skills against Ronald Reagan.

Let the education begin. What do we know about the ANC and its military wing, the Umkhonto we Sizwe (“Spear of the Nation”) guerrilla movement, known as MK? From The Diplomacy of Liberation: The Foreign Relations of the ANC since 1960 by Scott M. Thomas:

The less publicized support socialist states gave the ANC was the military training of its cadres. Before the Sino-Soviet split, key ANC personnel were trained in China at the Nanking Military Academy. Soviet bloc para-military training took place in Cuba, Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia. For more advanced training, recruits went to the Soviet Union.
Unkhonto training bases in Africa in the early 1960s were mainly in north Africa. By 1964, recruits were being trained in Egypt (about 25), in Algeria (about 50-70), and smaller numbers in Ethiopia, Ghana (organized by Ghana’s Bureau of African Affairs, but with Soviet instructors), in Morocco and Tanzania.
Chinese and Soviet training arrangements were made until the Umkhonto’s camps could be built in southern Africa. The first bases were in Tanzania, after independence in 1961, and in Zambia after independence in 1964. According to Anatoly A. Gromyko, the Director of the Institute of African Studies, arms, ammunition and some Soviet training personnel began arriving at these newly established Umkhonto bases after Zambia’s independence. . . .
The Soviet Union, Cuba, the Eastern bloc, particularly the GDR [German Democratic Republic, i.e., East Germany], and Angola trained cadres . . . North Korea and Bulgaria helping to a lesser extent. By the early 1980s, the ANC’s Chief Representative in [East Germany] acknowledged that an increasing number of ANC cadres were being trained there in various fields, particularly law, engineering, and natural science. This was a cover for military training since Umkhonto recruits in the Soviet Union were openly identified with the ANC and the SACP [South African Communist Party], but in [East Germany] they trained in civilian clothing under the guise of doing other courses.
For some Umkhonto recruits there was a country specialization in the progression of training: Mozambique … for political strategy, Angola for weapons training, the Soviet Union for general training, including a platoon commanders’ course in tactics and artillery and an advanced infantry course for officers. The best Umkhonto recruits were sent to [East Germany] for more advanced studies in communications, sabotage, topography, map reading, military engineering, and political theory. …
The [South African Communist Party] was instrumental in forming Umkhonto we Sizwe. …. While Mandela made the arrangements to set up training bases for Umkhonto cadres during his Africa tour in 1962, Arthur Goldreich, a member of the SACP and Umkhonto, went to the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe for the same purpose. Although his trip was to obtain military assistance, including explosives for sabotage, Goldreich tried to convince the Soviets to directly intervene in South Africa, but they declined. They only promised military assistance and reportedly gave Goldreich $2.8 million.
Oliver Tambo has acknowledged he went to the Soviet Union for the first time in 1963. He was accompanied by Moses Kotane, Secretary-General of the SACP, and Duma Nokwe, Secretary-General of the ANC. …
The ANC’s main training bases were set up in northern Angola in 1977. … Five training camps were set up in northern Angola, holding between 2,000 and 8,000 Umkhonto combatants. … [T]he training was given by East German, Cuban and Soviet instructors. …
Developments in Angola were closely connected to the ANC’s relations with Cuba. Six months after military preparations began in northern Angola, in October 1977, Oliver Tambo went to Havana to discuss the role Cuba could play in the liberation struggle. The following year, Alex La Guma, a South African author who was also a key member of the SACP, established the ANC’s office in Havana. …

The fact is, the ANC was allied with the South African Communist Party and, for nearly two decades before Ronald Reagan became president of the United States, the ANC and its MK guerrilla movement were aligned with the Soviet-led communist bloc, including East Germany and Fidel Castro’s Cuba.

In short Mandela was a Communist Newt! And Communism is evil. Again, you want to point out the positives about Mandela, fine, but don’t you wag your damned finger at those who DO point out all the facts, even the politically incorrect facts about Mandela

Wall Street editorial as racist data-point for the right, “Nelson Mandela (at Google)”:

The bulk of his adult life, Nelson Mandela was a failed Marxist revolutionary and leftist icon, the Che Guevara of Africa. Then in his seventies he had the chance to govern. He chose national reconciliation over reprisal, and he thus made himself a historic and all too rare example of a wise revolutionary leader.

Mandela, who died Thursday at age 95, had a patrician upbringing and a Methodist education. But his coming of age coincided with the rise of apartheid. Winning whites-only elections in 1948, the National Party lavished its Afrikaner base of European descendants with state jobs and privileges. Black, mixed-race and Indian South Africans were disfranchised.

Trained as a lawyer, Mandela was drawn to the African National Congress, which was founded by professional, educated blacks in 1912. He was not a born communist, but as he rose in its ranks the ANC moved toward Marxism and an alliance with the Soviets. Mandela kept portraits of Lenin and Stalin above his desk at home. Frustrated with the ANC’s ineffective peaceful resistance, he embraced armed struggle in the early 1960s and trained to become a guerrilla leader. He was arrested for plotting sabotage.

His 1964 trial gave Mandela a platform. In his famous closing argument, he said: “I have fought against white domination and I have fought against black domination. I have cherished the ideal of a democratic and free society in which all persons live together in harmony and with equal opportunities. It is an ideal which I hope to live for and to achieve. But, if needs be, it is an ideal for which I am prepared to die.”

This speech was the last the world saw of him for 26 years. He started his life sentence at Robben Island prison near Cape Town a would-be Lenin. He walked out of jail on February 11, 1990—at age 71—an African Havel.

Age mellowed him. Times changed. The apartheid leadership had opened secret talks with the ANC in the mid-1980s. While still in prison, Mandela became “president in training” under F.W. de Klerk, the last apartheid leader. In early 1990, Mr. de Klerk lifted the ban on the ANC.

Mandela ditched the ANC’s Marxism and reached out to business. Somehow—another miracle—the illiberal ANC and the illiberal National Party together negotiated a liberal new constitution with strong protections for minorities and an independent judiciary. “You do not compromise with a friend,” Mandela often said, “you compromise with an enemy.”

He won the country’s first free presidential elections in 1994 and worked to unite a scarred and anxious nation. He opened up the economy to the world, and a black middle class came to life. After a single term, he voluntarily left power at the height of his popularity. Most African rulers didn’t do that, but Mandela said, “I don’t want a country like ours to be led by an octogenarian. I must step down while there are one or two people who admire me.”

Sorry there Newt but, Mandela did do some noble things, and if that is what you wish to focus on, that is you. As for me, I focus on the totality of the man. That totality leaves a lot of blood on his hands that no amount of white washing by those who admired him can wash away.

Team Obama, and the rest of the Left gets more pathetic everyday

Or words to that affect from The Lonely Conservative

Under President Obama’s leadership does the US have staunch allies anymore? I can’t think of any. He not only didn’t bother attending the funeral of the Iron Lady, he didn’t even send an official from his administration. But what do you expect when one of the first things he did as president was to return the bust of Winston Churchill to the British?

The left had no problem trashing Thatcher when she passed, but pointing out the factual record of Nelson Mandela is racist. Pointing out how he was a terrorist? Racist. Pointing out how South Africa is now the murder capital of the world? Racist. Pointing out that blacks in South Africa are plagued with AIDS? Racist. Pointing out how Mandela was a proud supporter of Fidel Castro, who had no problem imprisoning gays and blacks? Racist. Pointing out how being white in South Africa could lead to one’s rape or murder? Racist. Pointing out how being black in South Africa could lead to one’s rape or murder? Racist. Pointing out how being a child in South Africa can lead to one’s rape or murder? Racist.  Thou shall not speak ill of Saint Nelson of the Blessed Necklace!

It is a great post that sums up the Leftist hypocrites perfectly. Go read it all!

A bit more on “Mandela the Saint”

Or, as Bob Belvedere calls him, Saint Nelson of the Blessed Necklace Stacy McCain has posted some more useful context as to what South Africa has become after Saint Nelson rose to power. South Africa has some, shall we say problems, like being the rape capital of the world

Maybe if it had been committed by the Duke lacrosse team, you would have heard of this atrocity by now, but it happened five years ago in another country. Amanda Marcotte probably didn’t notice:

Jamie Paterson, 17: “I was lying down and I could hear them undoing the TV and then throwing it across and then something fell on me. I thought it was the TV, but it was my mother. And then I looked up. And then they dragged her away again and the carpet was covered in blood. They kept saying to my father, ‘We are going to kill you, we are going to kill you now.’ . . .
Alan Paterson (her father): “She was bargaining her flute, she was bargaining her [school] badge. She was doing it, almost knowing what was going to happen to her was almost inevitable.”
Jamie: “He said to me ‘I’m HIV positive. But you’re young, I don’t want to ruin your life. So if you could just give me gold. I want gold, money and I want your gun.’I said to him, ‘We don’t have it.’ He hit me around the head and said, ‘No, you have a gun, don’t lie to me.’”
Bronwyn Paterson (her mother): “They started to fight over her and I knew she was going to be raped.”
Jamie: “And then he took me into the bathroom and locked me in and raped me there.”

You never heard of Jamie Paterson or the criminal gang that attacked her, and I never heard about it either until I saw a video interview with Jamie, which was included at the end of a long post Kathy Shaidle wrote in July about another violent criminal gang:

During the 1950s Mandela was banned, arrested and imprisoned for challenging apartheid . . . and, following the 1960 banning of the ANC, he went underground . . .
During this time, he and other ANC leaders formed its armed wing — Umkhonto we Sizwe (MK). . . .
That “armed wing” carried out terror attacks at shopping centers, movie theaters and other civilian targets . . .
And when Mandela was arrested, the authorities claimed to have uncovered “210,000 hand grenades, 48,000 anti-personnel mines, 1,500 time devices, 144 tons of ammonium nitrate, 21.6 tons of aluminium powder and 1 ton of black powder.”
Governments around the world, such as the ones in the U.S. and Great Britain, placed the ANC on their terror lists, along with the PLO, the IRA and the FLQ.

You really should read the whole thing at PJ Media, because it explains how the violent terrorist Nelson Mandela got an image makeover with the help of liberal celebrities in America and England who jumped aboard the anti-apartheid crusade when it became a fashionable cause in the late 1980s. None of those celebrities live in South Africa, of course, and none of them gave a damn about the epidemic of violent crime that has afflicted South Africa in recent years, an epidemic of which Jamie Paterson and her family were victims.

Go read the whole thing, it is eye-opening and outrage inducing. Including the fact that the murder rate in South Africa is 31.9 per 100,000, as compared to the U.S. rate, at 4.7 per 100,000. But, of course, these are facts the media chooses to sweep under the rug. Mandela, to them, is a Saint, and nothing can challenge their narrative.

Nelson Mandela, Communist, is dead UPDATED!

Communism, despite what the Left tells us, is evil, if you do not believe me, just look at the death toll under Communism in the last century. More than 100 million lives lost for the “greater good”. How many tens, or hundreds of millions more suffered torture, destitution, and loss of liberty under Marx’s Utopian Fanaticism? So, forgive me if I do not mark the passing of any Communist with sorrow. I see Communists for what they are, and that is people who would take every liberty I have and eradicate it. I will never grieve over the death of any Communist, no matter how the Left attempts to deify them. Robert Stacy McCain has some historical perspective on Mandela you need to read, here is but a snippet, and one photo that, to me, says enough about Mandela for me not to mourn him

“It’s a tragedy what is happening, what Bush is doing. All Bush wants is Iraqi oil. There is no doubt that the U.S. is behaving badly. Why are they not seeking to confiscate weapons of mass destruction from their ally Israel? This is just an excuse to get Iraq’s oil. . . .
“If there is a country that has committed unspeakable atrocities in the world, it is the United States of America.”
– Nelson Mandela, Jan. 30, 2003

Nelson Mandela was at all times a man of the Left — anti-Western, anti-American and anti-Israel — as attested by the fact that as late as 2003, he could say, “All Bush wants is Iraqi oil,” make a sneering reference to Israel, accuse the U.S. of “unspeakable atrocities,” and even play the race card over the Iraq War:

Bush is now undermining the United Nations. . . . Both Bush, as well as Tony Blair, are undermining an idea which was sponsored by their predecessors. They do not care. Is it because the secretary-general of the United Nations is now a black man? . . . They never did that when secretary-generals were white.

Mandela’s tenure as president of South Africa was, thank God, not the nightmare that Mugabe inflicted on neighboring Zimbabwe, but we ought not be fooled by liberal myth-makers who wish to reinvent Mandela as a secular saint whom all are obligated to revere.

Of course, The United States and Israel, they are the evil nations. And to the Left, to Marxists, nations that reject Totalitarianism are evil. Because to the Left Individualism, and honoring God-given rights is evil. To the Left, only the Collective is good and noble, no matter how many people their beloved Collectivism/Marxism slaughters and tortures. You can criticize me for daring to share historical facts, but ask yourself this. What type of man would pose in front of this symbol? The symbol of Gulags, torture, butchery, and mass suffering? is that man worth celebrating? I will let you decide that for yourself. For me, it is rather cut and dry.

Also, you need to read what Bob Belvedere, who loathes Communists as much as I do writes about this

The sickeningly sweet sycophancy has already started and will most assuredly continue at least until the old Marxist is buried — one hopes very soon.  TV News will become even more unwatchable.

In the face of the avalanche of BS that will be said of Mandela, there will be a temptation among many on the Right to start to think well of him.

From his file at Discover The Networks:

…The leading South African socialist parties merged with the Communist Party in 1920s, and in 1923 the South African Native National Congress changed its name to the African National Congress to reflect its growing internationalist, Communist outlook.

In its early phase, the group focused on non-violent resistance; Mandela, his future law partner Oliver Tambo, and several other young African students in and around Witwatersrand established the African National Congress Youth League (ANCYL).  Mandela was one of the drafters of the group’s manifesto. The ANCYL criticized the more genteel ANC and promised to politicize and radicalize the movement.  It succeeded.

And…

Sharpeville also marked a definite turning point for Mandela and other members of the ANC, who now opted for the use of force to accomplish their political agenda.  An offshoot militant wing, the Umkhonto we Sizwe (UWS), the “Spear of the Nation,” was created by Mandela and others to bring the apartheid government down by use of sabotage.  Mandela went underground and eventually left the country without permission, training in terrorist camps in Algeria and addressing the Pan-African Freedom Movement conference in Addis Ababa in January 1962.  His speech was a masterpiece of one-sided distortions, as he condemned the South African government for atrocities like Sharpeville or Bulhoek (a 1921 incident in which government officers, attempting to enforce an eviction warrant on squatters, were attacked by a mob of religious fanatics and returned fire, killing 163; Mandela refers to them as ‘unarmed’, an adjective not supported by accounts at the time), invariably oversimplifying the complex background of each incident.  He spoke approvingly of bombings in Fort Hare, Durban, and Johannesburg, and claimed that he was sending ANC members for guerrilla training.

Mandela returned to South Africa in 1962 and while in custody, was arrested and tried in the Rivonia trials.  Rivonia was the headquarters of a group of saboteurs accused of blowing up not only government buildings but also the homes of government officials.  Mandela did not deny that he was a member of the UWS and that it was engaged in sabotage, but claimed that the UWS did not engage in bombings of private homes.  He also denied the possibility of finding real justice in a “White Man’s Court”.

Sometimes lost in the reports of the trial was a document that South African police found when they raided the UWS headquarters, the plans for Operation Maribuye, which detailed the targets that the UWS intended to hit and listed the strategic and tactical considerations that the group should consider.  It is, in effect, a plan for war, and contrary to the rhetoric of the ANC and Mandela, both at the trial and in subsequent years, the UWS saboteurs had already claimed lives as well as buildings for their victims.

Mandela was convicted and sentenced to life in prison….

During his imprisonment, the ANC unleashed a reign of terror and torture that has been well-documented.  In 1997, during the TRC hearings, the ANC leadership admitted to at least 550 actions carried out by its UWS wing, with another 100 incidents that “may or may not” have been carried out by members acting on their own.  The terrorist attacks included the infamous “necklacings,” in which attackers put a gasoline-soaked tire around the victim’s neck and then set it afire (a tactic often ascribed to Mandela’s wife, Winnie, and her followers), bombings of government and military installations, and the establishment of secret “re-education” camps in northern Angola, Tanzania, and Uganda where the ANC would torture those reluctant to go along with its program of violence.   In addition to warring with the apartheid government, the ANC often battled other black groups, particularly the Zulu-led Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP).  The government, for its part, employed equally violent means of quelling black resistance.  The death totals for the period from 1985-1994 reached 23,000, according to the TRC.

As I said, read it and then decide for yourself

UPDATE! Donald Douglas joins RS McCain, Bob Belvedere, and myself in tapping stomping on the brakes on the Mandela Lovefest Bandwagon

We know that Mandela, in his membership with the African National Congress, was a terrorist and Communist, even though his ties to the Moscow-led revolutionary world program were disguised at the time. Here’s Telegraph UK from last year, “Nelson Mandela ‘proven’ to be a member of the Communist Party after decades of denial.” (And see the fascinating contemporary piece from Thomas Karis, at Foreign Affairs, “South African Liberation: The Communist Factor.” Also, here’s a communique from South African Communist Party Leader Joe Slovo from 1989, “Message by Joe Slovo, General Secretary of the South African Communist Party, to the Soweto rally for the released ANC leaders.”)

In any case, it’s no surprise that we’re seeing overwhelming acclaim for Mandela’s legacy from the left and the right, although it’s pretty pathetic that even so-called conservatives are attempting to tamp down the meme that Mandela was a Communist.

I am proud to be one of the few to have the guts to tell the truth!

President Obama, you just don’t know George Washington

Our Dear leader compared Nelson Mandela to the father of our country? Good Grief!

Weasel Zippers has it right

Except for the fact that Mandela is an America-bashing Communist who once said, “If there is a country in the world that has committed unspeakable atrocities in the world, it is the United States of America

Sorry Mr. President, but very few men in history deserve to be compared to Washington, and Mandela is not one of them, not even close

Just in case you have forgotten what a waste of skin Al “Pimp My Hair” Sharpton is

Weasel Zippers will take you on a little historical trip

. In July 1991, a controversy erupted when Leonard Jeffries, a professor at New York’s City College gave a speech blasting “rich Jews” for financing the slave trade and for controlling Hollywood so they could “put together a system of destruction for Black people.”

Sharpton rushed to defend Jeffries, and in the middle of the swirling controversy, declared, “If the Jews want to get it on, tell them to pin their yarmulkes back and come over to my house.”

A day after Sharpton made that comment, in August 1991, a Jewish driver accidently ran over a 7-year old black boy named Gavin Cato in Crown Heights, Brooklyn and an anti-Semitic riot broke out in which Jewish rabbinical scholar Yankel Rosenbaum was stabbed to death. Instead of calling for calm,Sharpton incited the rioters, leading marches in the streets that included chants of “No Justice, No Peace!” and “Kill the Jews!” At a funeral for the boy who had been run over, Sharpton said, “The world will tell us he was killed by accident. Yes, it was a social accident. … It’s an accident to allow an apartheid ambulance service in the middle of Crown Heights. … Talk about how Oppenheimer in South Africa sends diamonds straight to Tel Aviv and deals with the diamond merchants right here in Crown Heights.” For those unfamiliar, “diamond merchants” was a thinly-veiled reference to Jewish jewelers.

After an investigation, no indictment was made of the driver who had accidentally run over Cato, and he left for Israel. Sharpton flew there in an attempt to “hunt down” the driver and hand him a civil law suit. According to the Daily News, at Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport, a woman spotted Sharpton and shouted, “Go to hell!” Sharpton yelled back: “I am in hell already. I am in Israel.”

How twisted is our society? The media legitimizes this tool, and, tragically, many Black Americans are bamboozled enough to partake of the RAAAAACISM Kool Aid he pushes.

Bob Owens: Why does Joe Biden Hate Girl Scouts?

I hope no Girl Scouts try to sell Crazy Uncle Joe any cookies, his door can be damned dangerous

I’m glad the Girl Scouts are almost done with cookie sales for the year. Thanks to Joe Biden, selling Thin Mints door-to-door could get you killed.

A Virginia man who followed Vice President Joe Biden’s advice to fire through doors isnow facing criminal charges.

Vice President Joe Biden told Field & Stream magazine in an interview published Monday, “[if] you want to keep someone away from your house, just fire the shotgun through the door.”

Coincidentally, a 22-year-old man in Virginia Beach, Va., was charged Monday with reckless handling of a firearm after doing just that a couple days earlier.

Local TV station WAVY 10 reports that the man observed two masked men leaning into his bedroom window. The men allegedly had weapons and told him to close his bedroom door. He stepped outside of his bedroom and did as instructed, then fired his shotgun through the closed door and then several more times at the window.

Had Trevor Lamont Snowden actually hit anyone, his charges could have been upgraded to felonies.

This is the second time in days that the Vice President has advised citizens to commit crimes—potentially felony crimes—by dangerously and recklessly discharging firearms.

In the first instance, he advised firing “two blasts” into the air, despite the fact that shots fired into the air must come back to earth, and when they do they have the power to kill. Four-year-old Marquel Peters was killed by someone firing a bullet into the air, as was 15-year-old Rachel Yoder. Yoder’s killer was charged with reckless homicide.

In the second instance, Biden advised firing shots through doors. Firing through doors, without knowing who or what is on the other side, is grounds for homicide charges in every state in the union and in nearly every country overseas.  Olympian Oscar Pistorius has been charged with murder in South Africa, after firing shots through an interior door that killed his girlfriend. He likely would have faced murder charges even if the person on the other side of the door had been an intruder.

If anyone could possibly be a worse spokesman than Biden for gun control, I cannot imagine who it would be. The man is  a buffoon, a walking, talking gaffe factory. But, what else can you expect when you ask anyone to defend a position like the gun grabbing Left takes? They are trying to seem as non-threatening to gun owners as possible. That is a scam of course, we know what the Left wants, and that is to take American’s guns away. We know this because that is what Leftism ALWAYS does. It disarms the people. But, they send idiots like Joe Biden out there to say things that make them look like they want to defend the right to both own guns and defend yourself, when, in truth they want the exact opposite. So, of course Biden will stick both feet and part of his left arm in his mouth, how can he help but do that?

While we are at it, let me remind all of you that when police chiefs talk about the need for tighter gun restrictions remember that they are politicians, not real cops! They are no more than tools of the Left, here is a classic example
