Oh those nutty folks at The Brady Campain to Disarm Law-Abiding Americans

They are soooooo funny, really, I mean making a video to show how criminals obey laws, now that is funny! Jenn Jacques has the latest idiocy from the Cult of Gun Control

Good grief, the lies start at the beginning and never stop in this one. Arizona allows people to carry guns w/o a background check? Well, any gun bought in that state or any other does require a federal background check. Unless you are a criminal, who will break law after law anyway. That is just one of the lies, and it should be noted these lies are deliberate in this video. See how many falsehoods you can spot. I REALLY love the one about states that “keep guns out of criminals hands” like Maryland, Yep, those gun laws have done wonders for Baltimore, good grief!

It is sad that  too many Americans, some who are very smart, fall for this campaign of lies. Even smart people like saints coach Sean Peyton, who is as ignorant about guns as can be

New Orleans Saints Coach Sean Payton told USA Today on Monday that in spite of his efforts to ‘remove his anti-gun bias’ when analyzing former player Will Smith’s shooting death late Saturday night, he still reached the same conclusion:

“I’ve heard people argue that everybody needs a gun,” he said. “That’s madness. I know there are many kids who grow up in a hunting environment. I get that. But there are places, like England, where even the cops don’t have guns.”

This is a very common statement from those not smart enough to question the rhetoric of the Bloomberg types. I have never, in my life, heard anyone say that “everyone” needs a gun. This statement is so fallacious as to be laughable, but many eat this up and  regurgitate it

In the 33-minute phone interview, Payton made it crystal clear where he stands on the issue of guns and gun control in America. “I’m not an extreme liberal,” Payton said. “I find myself leaning to the right on some issues. But on this issue, I can’t wrap my brain around it.”

What he can wrap his brain around are some pretty hypocritical and inflammatory statements. When he discussed the gun Cardell Hayes, a convicted felon unable to legally own or purchase a weapon, had and used to kill Smith, Payton said, “It was a large caliber gun. A .45. It was designed back during World War I. And this thing just stops people. It will kill someone within four or five seconds after they are struck. You bleed out. After the first shot (that struck Smith’s torso), he took three more in his back.”

So, if you are shot with a .45 you bleed out in 4-5 seconds? Every time? Maybe in the movies, no in real life. It would depend on where you are shot, it would depend on what type of round it is. Yes, a .45 ACP is a deadly round, but Peyton clearly shows a lot of ignorance here

But Payton went on, saying, “We could go online and get 10 of them, and have them shipped to our house tomorrow. I don’t believe that was the intention when they allowed for the right for citizens to bear arms.”

Oh good grief! Yes, you can “buy” a gun online. Yes you can have it shipped, but not to your house, Coach. It MUST, under federal law be shipped to a licensed gun dealer who MUST, under FEDERAL law do a background check BEFORE you can take possession of that gun. In other words you can pay for the weapon online, but to take it with you you must, again, pass a background check. It is federal law Coach Peyton.

Ignorance is an ugly thing, especially when really smart people celebrate and revel in it, pretending it is “enlightened thinking”
