Migrants Burn Down Asylum Centre After Not Receiving Ramadan Wake Up Call – Breitbart
.

.
A massive fire at Düsseldorf’s major international trade fair grounds yesterday has been followed by reports that the blaze was set deliberately by migrants who were angry because of Ramadan.

Officially, some 160 migrants were resident at hall 18 of the Messe Düsseldorf conference centre, but it was a facility plagued by racial conflict which had seen violence spark before. Düsseldorf’s Express newspaper reports these conflicts were not between European German staff and their guests, but between the predominantly Arab residents, and a minority of Afghans who sided with the security staff running the facility – who were mainly Iranian.

According to the testimony of “several burly Moroccan refugees” which the paper had spoken to even as the hall burnt down, the Iranians employed by the German state to look after other migrants from around the world had “deliberately” not woken the Arabs up in time for their Ramadan breakfast following a long run dispute.

Just three weeks ago there had been another, much smaller fire at the exhibition centre as a migrant set fire to his mattress in protest against the accommodation…

D.C. Passes $15 Minimum Wage – Washington Free Beacon

The Washington, D.C., City Council passed a measure to raise the minimum wage to $15 for hourly employees on Tuesday and increased the tipped wage to $5 an hour.

The Democrat-controlled council unanimously voted to hike the district’s hourly minimum wage from $10.50 to $15 an hour, a 43 percent increase. The council took up the matter as union-backed groups campaigned to put a $15 wage on the November ballot.

That measure would have forced all employees, including tipped workers, to receive an hourly rate more than twice as high as the federal minimum of $7.25. Mayor Muriel Bowser brought the $15 wage to the council in March.

Michael Saltsman, research director of the free market Employment Policies Institute, called the measure the latest in the “fight against common sense.” California struck a deal to enact a $15 minimum wage by 2022 in March after labor activists petitioned to put the proposal on the November ballot. Democratic New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo passed similar legislation in April.

Saltsman said the nearly 50 percent wage hike would force businesses to cut hours, stop hiring, and raise prices on consumers to make up for higher labor costs.

“Unfortunately, it’s employees and small businesses who will pay the tab,” Saltsman said.

The bill could have gone further, as activists waged a months-long campaign to include tipped employees, such as restaurant wait staff, for the wage. Federal law mandates a $7.25 wage rate for regular workers, but employers only need to pay tipped workers $2.15 per hour…

Baltimore Cops To Sue Marilyn Mosby For ‘Malicious Prosecution’ – Daily Caller
.

.
Baltimore State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby will face a slew of new counts, including malicious prosecution and false arrest in a lawsuit brought by two Baltimore cops, The Daily Caller News Foundation has learned.

Sgt. Alicia White and Officer William Porter, two officers charged in the death of Freddie Gray, filed suit May 2 against Mosby and Maj. Sam Cogen of the Baltimore Sheriff’s office for defamation and invasion of privacy. The suit alleges Mosby and Cogen knew the charges were trumped up, but filed them anyway to quell the riots that had ravaged the city.

Michael Glass, the lawyer for the officers in the suit, told TheDCNF that he plans to amend the lawsuit to include “likely a count of malicious prosecution, false arrest, false imprisonment, violation of the Maryland declaration of rights, article 24 and 26.” He said the they’re currently working on modifying the complaint, and the changes will be official in the next few weeks, likely by the end of June…

Feds Spend Nearly $20,000 To Settle Every Refugee – Washington Examiner

Federal taxpayers are on the hook for nearly $20,000 just to settle each refugee and asylum seeker, who are then immediately eligible for cash welfare, food stamps, housing and medical aid, according to a new report on the “refugee industry.”

The report provided federal budget figures showing that the government spends $19,884 on each refugee the U.S. takes in.

And that number is set to jump if President Obama gets his way and brings in an additional 10,000 Syrian refugees in this year.

The report from the Negative Population Growth Inc. said that the U.S. is currently accepting about 95,000 refugees and asylees. That is in addition to the over 500,000 legal and illegal immigrants coming to the U.S.

It focused on the industry created to accept the $1.8 billion in federal support to help refugees settle and sign up for further cash awards from Uncle Sam. The refugee agencies get a small portion, or about $1,875 per refugee they help. The rest goes to the United Nations, which helps to determine eligible refugees, and state agencies.

The State Department spends about $1.28 billion, and Health and Human Services another $609 million…

As Hunger Mounts, Venezuelans Turn To Trash For Food – Associated Press
.

.
Until recently, Julio Noguera worked at a bakery. Now he spends his evenings searching through the garbage for food.

“I come here looking for food because if I didn’t, I’d starve to death,” Noguera said as he sorted through a pile of moldy potatoes. “With things like they are, no one helps anyone and no one gives away meals.”

Across town, unemployed people converge every dusk at a trash heap on a downtown Caracas sidewalk to pick through rotten fruit and vegetables tossed out by nearby shops. They are frequently joined by small business owners, college students and pensioners – people who consider themselves middle class even though their living standards have long ago been pulverized by triple-digit inflation, food shortages and a collapsing currency.

Venezuela’s poverty had eased during the administration of the late President Hugo Chavez. But a study by three leading Caracas universities found that 76 percent of Venezuelans are now under the poverty line, compared with 52 percent in 2014…

Migrants In Germany Linked To 69,000 Committed Or Attempted Crimes In Early – Pajamas Media

Migrants in Germany committed or tried to commit some 69,000 crimes in the first quarter of 2016, according to a police report that could raise unease, especially among anti-immigrant groups, about Chancellor Angela Merkel’s liberal migrant policy.

There was a record influx of more than a million migrants into Germany last year and concerns are now widespread about how Europe’s largest economy will manage to integrate them and ensure security.

The report from the BKA federal police showed that migrants from northern Africa, Georgia and Serbia were disproportionately represented among the suspects.

Absolute numbers of crimes committed by Syrians, Afghans and Iraqis – the three biggest groups of asylum seekers in Germany – were high but given the proportion of migrants that they account for, their involvement in crimes was “clearly disproportionately low”, the report said.

See? It’s OK because it is “disproportionately low.” So if you were beaten, sexually assaulted or “unlawfully detained” by someone who probably shouldn’t have been there in the first place you can take great comfort in the fact that there were a whole lot more who could have beaten, sexually assaulted or kidnapped you.

To this day, however, if you suggest that the United States might want to work out a functional screening system for this jihadist exportation migrant crisis, you’re accused of being Islamophobic, racist, and not really American because, hey, Irish people in Boston or something…

Mitch McConnell Complains About ‘Unreasonable’ Conservatives, Points Blame At Talk Radio – Daily Signal
.

.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell takes pride in his reputation as a great compromiser. But the Republican leader won’t concede on one point: He refuses to let conservatives fight the White House for lower spending levels.

McConnell, R-Ky., outlined his political roadmap for government spending on Tuesday, sketching out the routes he sees available: an omnibus package, individual appropriations bills, or a government shutdown.

“Here’s the choice: You either pass each individual appropriations bill or you pass the omnibus, which gives the president all the power, and the ability, to argue that somehow we’re shutting down the government if we don’t go along with it,” McConnell told an audience at the American Enterprise Institute…

State Dept. Claims It Would Take 75 Years To Compile Clinton Emails – Breitbart

The State Department claims it would take 75 years to compile the 450,000 pages of emails between Hillary Clinton and her top aides, meaning it will be able to satisfy two Freedom of Information Act lawsuits from the Republican National Committee no later than 2091.

“Given the Department’s current [Freedom of Information Act] workload and the complexity of these documents, it can process about 500 pages a month, meaning it would take approximately 16-and-2/3 years to complete the review of the Mills documents, 33-and-1/3 years to finish the review of the Sullivan documents, and 25 years to wrap up the review of the Kennedy documents – or 75 years in total,” said a filing from the State Department to the FOIA court, as related by The Hill.

“The volume of FOIA requests received by the Department has tripled since 2008,” complained State Dept. spokeswoman Elizabeth Trudeau. “In fiscal year 2015 alone we received approximately 22,000 FOIA requests. The requests are also frequently more complex and seek larger volumes of documents, requiring significantly more time, resources, and interagency coordination. While we have increased staffing for our FOIA office, our available resources are still nonetheless constrained.”

“That is an incredible number,” another State Department spokesman, Mark Toner, conceded to the Washington Examiner. “It’s a very broad range involving a number of people over a period of four years, and it’s not an outlandish estimation, believe it or not.”

This should conclusively refute the State Department Inspector General’s accusation that the department constantly provides slow, inaccurate, and incomplete responses to FOIA requests – delays that always seem to have the magical result of producing vital information after the November elections. We’ll have this trove of Clinton correspondence in hand with plenty of time to go before the 2092 elections…

Trump’s Historic Run Shatters Vote Records – Universal Free Press
.

.
Even while Mr. Trump was catching heat for his latest comments concerning the La Raza membership of the federal judge presiding over a suit against the now defunct Trump University, Donald Trump closed the door on the Republican nomination for President by winning all five of the remaining primaries on Tuesday. But he did not just win the elections, he made history in doing it.

With the wins in New Jersey, South Dakota, Montana, New Mexico and California. Trump has racked up wins in the last 16 Republican contests. Currently, Mr. Trump has collected some 1536 delegates, or about 300 more than what is needed to secure the Republican Party’s nomination.

The contest started the year with 17 Candidates for President. This was more candidates than any major party in history. But during the campaigns, Mr. Trump managed to accumulate more wins than any other Republican or Democrat candidate in this year’s race, a total of 36 in all counting caucuses. He also has more primary wins with 33 and leads all candidates in percent of overall wins and in percent of primary wins…

Gowdy Releases Bombshell Report Proving Dem Insiders Obstructed Benghazi Investigation – AFF

Democrat members of the House Benghazi Select Committee have done everything humanly possible to sabotage the efforts to get to the truth about what really happened that tragic night when 4 Americans senselessly lost their lives in Libya on September 11, 2012.

After nearly 2 years, the committee’s investigation is nearing the end and The chairman, Trey “Bulldog” Gowdy has promised to release a final report which has the Democrat members scrambling like maniacs. The Dems are demanding a bigger role in drafting the report and Gowdy has responded in a scathing letter sent to the top committee Democrat, Maryland Rep. Elijah Cummings.

In the letter, Gowdy wrote, “Despite your efforts to undermine and obstruct our fact-centered work, rest assured all members of the committee will have the opportunity to review the report and offer changes in a manner consistent with the rules of the House. Then, after the committee completes its work, the American people will be able to read the report, the supporting evidence and transcripts, and judge for themselves the value and fairness of our investigation.”.

Here is the letter in it’s entirety:

The Honorable Elijah E. Cummings
Ranking Member
Select Committe On The Events Surrounding The 2012 Terrorist Attack On Benghazi
U.S. House Of Representatives
Washington, D.C. 20515

Dear Ranking Member Cummings:

Woman Goes Berzerk When Store Declines Her Food Stamps – Daily Caller

A large woman destroyed a convenience store after having her food stamp benefits card declined, according to a video uploaded to Live Leak Thursday.

“Call the police, call the police,” the unnamed woman says repeatedly in the video as she lumbers around the store causing havoc. “Call the police. Do your job, do your job.”

The woman had already knocked some food on the floor before one patron decided to start filming the incident. She appears belligerent as she repeats inaudible and barely audible statements. The woman walks with a limp from an apparent injury as she threw food around. She even throws an empty container of Cheetos at a man who tried to calm her down.

A small crowd slowly gathered around her but were unable to stop the rampage. She lunges at some candy and snacks, before a store worker manages to grab her. The worker gets her outside the store with the help of some patrons. The video ends by showing the floor covered in candy and snacks.

The unnamed woman began destroying the convenience store after her Electronic Benefits Transfer card was declined. The cards are the main way food stamp recipients are able to access their benefits. They work like a personal debit cards, except they can only be used to purchased authorized items like food and basic necessities.

The food stamp program is the largest food assistance welfare service in the country. The Department of Agriculture (USDA) administers the program in coordination with state agencies…
