The Obama Admin Blocked An Iranian-American Judge From Hearing Iranian Immigration Cases – Daily Caller

In 2015, immigration Judge A. Ashley Tabaddor sued the United States Department of Justice after it forced her to recuse herself from “all immigration cases involving Iranians.”

According to reporting from NPR, Obama’s DOJ first became “concerned with the appearance of impropriety” after Tabaddor – who is of Iranian descent – attended a 2012 White House meeting with other high-profile Iranian-Americans.

NPR states that before signing off on her attending the meeting, Tabaddor’s DOJ superiors recommended she recuse herself from any future cases involving Iranian nationals, yet when she returned to Los Angeles after the summit, that recommendation “became an official order.”

National Association of Immigration Judges president Dana Leigh Marks confirmed to NPR that the DOJ’s demands of Tabaddor “[appeared] to be discriminatory based on her Iranian heritage.”

NPR’s Richard Gonzales noted that although immigration cases are assigned at random, “sometimes the parties will ask that a judge recuse him or herself if they suspect a conflict of interest or bias.”…

Report: Hillary’s Email Scheme Probably Compromised Covert CIA Identities – Hot Air
.

.
A report from the Associated Press reveals how Hillary Clinton’s private, unsecured email scheme is likely responsible for revealing names of covert CIA agents referred to in the former Secretary of State’s redacted correspondence.

“Start with the entirely plausible view that foreign intelligence services discovered and rifled Hillary Clinton’s server,” said Stewart Baker, a Washington lawyer who spent more than three years as an assistant secretary of the Homeland Security Department and is former legal counsel for the National Security Agency.

If so, those infiltrators would have copies of all her emails with the names not flagged as being linked to the agency…

Forget Manipulative Editing, Katie Couric’s Team Likely Violated Federal Law – National Review

The plot thickens. A couple of weeks ago, it was reported that Stephanie Soechtig, the director of a Katie Couric-fronted gun-control infomercial titled Under the Gun, had selectively edited her interviewees’ testimony in order to make them look dumb. Now, it seems that Soechtig and her team may have bigger problems than having been caught in a lie: One or more among them may be heading toward a felony charge.

During a recent television interview, Soechtig claimed indignantly that she had sent a co-producer from Colorado into the state of Arizona, where he made contact with a private gun seller and purchased three handguns and a “Bushmaster” rifle. According to Soechtig, that these transactions were “perfectly legal” demonstrates that the laws need changing.

The problem for Soechtig – and for her broader argument – is that these transactions weren’t in fact legal. Not even close. Under existing federal law, one may obtain firearms outside of one’s state of residence only from a federally licensed firearms dealer. Moreover, at least until Mance v. Lynch is resolved, one may legally obtain a handgun only in one’s own state of residence. If, as Soechtig claims, a Colorado resident purchased three handguns and a rifle from a private seller in another state, he broke federal law at least four times.

Tellingly, Soechtig has changed her story. On June 6, she posted the following message to Facebook:

While it may seem hard to believe that one could buy these types of guns this easily, all purchases in the film were made completely legally. Arizona law allows out-of-state residents to buy long guns (i.e. rifles, shotguns, military style assault rifles) from a private seller without a background check…

Mexican Drug Cartel Kidnaps 150 People, Horrifically Tortures And Slaughters Them – Shoebat
.

.
The Mexican drug cartel, Las Zetas, conducted the mass slaughtering of 150 people in a death camp. The victims were kidnapped and brought to a major prison which they used as a human slaughterhouse; they were tortured and butchered. According to one report:

Members of the notorious Zetas drug cartel turned the prison where they were being held in northern Mexico into a death camp where they tortured and killed around 150 people, and then incinerated the bodies or dissolved them in acid, the authorities say.

José Ángel Herrera, the chief prosecutor for cases of disappeared people in the state of Coahuila, made the allegations on Wednesday while announcing warrants to arrest five of the prisoners allegedly involved – at least some of whom are still behind bars…

Venezuela Opposition Leader Hit On The Face With Metal Pipe As Police Watch – Zero Hedge

Following the recent tragic stories of mass looting by the country’s starving population, which has resulted in at least one death, and even people resorting to killing animals for food, little can shock us anymore as we follow Venezuela’s total social disintegration. Which is why we took today’s news that the leader of Venezuela’s congressional opposition bloc was hit in the face with a pipe, and bloodied as he attempted to make his way into a government building, with hardly any surprise at all.

As photographs circulating online show, government supporters attacked Congressman Julio Borges with a pipe.

He spoke at a press conference after the attack with blood streaming down from his nose and mouth, and bloody stains on his button-down shirt.

Borges had been attempting to enter the headquarters of the country’s electoral body in downtown Caracas with other opposition figures. The area was heavily militarized, with lines of police looking on.

Borges accused police of pushing him toward gangs loyal to President Nicolas Maduro.

“Government supporters beat us with total impunity with pipes, stones, and explosives that went off in the middle of a group of lawmakers,” Borges said. “Maduro, what we want is to vote.”…

Liberal Journalist Asks Hispanics On The Border About The Trump Wall… Gets Shocking Answer – 100PercentFedUp
.

.
A “liberal Reporter” for Esquire got a dose of reality when he went along the border and asked “anyone he saw” to weigh in on what needs to be done on the border to stop illegals. What he got was a very surprising result! Most everyone he asked wanted a border wall but most shocking to the journalist was the positive hispanic response.

Esquire sent a journalist to Texas with orders to survey the people living along the border and ask them what they think needs to be done to stop the flow of illegal immigrants.

The magazine’s editor-in-chief, Jay Fielden, recently appeared on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” to explain what happened when Esquire sent what host Joe Scarborough referred to as a “liberal journalist” to the Texas-Mexico border. Fielden said he instructed the reporter to “go down there with no preconceived notions, just an empty notebook.”…

Trump Support With Latinos Now At 37%, Black Support At 26% – Gateway Pundit

Donald Trump is currently running only 4 points behind Hillary Clinton with Latino voters. He also has 26% support from black voters. This is devastating news for Democrats.

Fox News Latino reported:

It is evident that Donald Trump has rewritten the rules of political campaigning, leaving the so-called experts, analysts, journalists and even the GOP itself puzzled by the power and effectiveness of his approach.

Latino advocacy groups and some celebrities have launched powerful videos, protests and campaigns against Trump. Recognized conservative voices like Marco Rubio, Susana Martinez, the Bush family, and even Pope Francis himself have made their discontent clear with the candidate, but could it be possible he is actually gaining support among Hispanics?

Numerous articles and Op-Eds have discounted his so-called “rise” among Latinos by pointing out the flawed nature of polls. Back in February, after claiming a win with 46 percent of the Hispanic vote in Nevada, critics quickly challenged the full sample size of voters captured to disregard the number. Most recently, Latino-Decisions published an article called “Why Polls On Latinos Get It Wrong,” confirming that current ways of polling are under-representing Latinos’ voice…

Hillary’s Campaign Chair Acknowledges Private Email Use Could Be ‘Disqualifying’ – Daily Caller
.

.
Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman John Podesta acknowledged that Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server and account while secretary of state has “definitely hurt her” and that some may consider it “disqualifying.”

Tuesday on the podcast Recode Replay, Podesta acknowledged that it was “a mistake” to combine work and personal emails.

He added, “But the question is, given the stakes of this election, is that, you know, is that a mistake that you would judge as disqualifying. Maybe some people will.”…
