Ah Hawaii, it is a place of indescribable beauty, but, sadly, it is also a place where Marxism is thriving. A place where exercising your natural rights can get you on a government list Jenn Jacques, who like me loves liberty, sounds the alarm
We’ve been hearing a lot about watch lists recently, but there is another kind of list that has nothing to do with terror. It’s the FBI criminal records database. And if you’re a resident of Hawaii and a legal, law-abiding gun owner … welcome to the list.
Hawaii’s governor signed a bill making it the first state to place its residents who own firearms in a federal criminal record database and monitor them for possible wrongdoing anywhere in the country, his office said.
The move by gun control proponents in the liberal state represents an effort to institute some limits on firearms in the face of a bitter national debate over guns that this week saw Democratic lawmakers stage a sit-in at the U.S. House of Representatives.
Allow me to ask the obvious questions here. If owning a firearm gets you on an federal criminal records database then how far are you from other lists? How soon will speaking your mind get you on this list? How about a database tracking the books you read? Or your Facebook groups? How soon will practicing your faith land you on a list? How soon will exercising any of your constitutionally protected rights get you on a government list? And what will being on these lists cost you? Think of how much damage can be done to your life by being “listed”.
Think of the ways your liberties, or what is left of them can be decimated by this. And think of one more thing. We know the
Democrats Marxists in Congress are pushing hard for banning people on no fly lists (which are very suspect) or watch lists from buying firearms. You think they would not add these other lists to strip away due process? Understand what this is folks. It is a full out assault on our precious liberties. Take a look, a long look, at which party is assaulting these liberties. Yep, the one that starts with a (D). Please remember this in November.
