Oh goody, another ignorant “Look at Me” Social Justice Warrior pisses on the national anthem

No, I should not use her name because frankly, she is likely looking for attention with this stunt

MIAMI (AP) A woman performing the national anthem before an NBA preseason game in Miami on Friday night did so while kneeling at midcourt, and opening her jacket to show a shirt with the phrase ”Black Lives Matter.”

The singer was identified by the Heat as Denasia Lawrence. It was unclear if she remained in the arena after the performance, and messages left for her were not immediately returned.

I would like to hear her excuse for her actions. I would imagine she would echo the ignorance of this uninformed buffoon

Leah Tysse was called upon to deliver the national anthem during the Sacramento Kings game, and as she ended her rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner,” she kneeled to protest “injustice” in America.

“This act embodies the conflict many of us feel,” Tysse explained of her actions in a Facebook post following her performance. “I love and honor my country as deeply as anyone yet it is my responsibility as an American to speak up against injustice as it affects my fellow Americans. I have sung the anthem before but this time taking a knee felt like the most patriotic thing I could do.”

OK, let us not question her patriotism, or motives for  second. What “injustices” are upsetting her? This is from her Facebook page

Why I took a knee while singing the Anthem at a Sacramento Kings NBA game: This act embodies the conflict many of us feel. I love and honor my country as deeply as anyone yet it is my responsibility as an American to speak up against injustice as it affects my fellow Americans. I have sung the anthem before but this time taking a knee felt like the most patriotic thing I could do. I cannot idly stand by as black people are unlawfully profiled, harassed and killed by our law enforcement over and over and without a drop of accountability. I believe that the majority of police are good and are against this too and as a nation we all need to speak up. We should all be outraged and demand justice and an end to the brutality. Let’s look around our communities for those facilitating healthy interactions between law enforcement and communities of color and support. The sad reality is, as a white American I am bestowed a certain privilege in this nation that is not enjoyed by all people. Black families are having much different conversations with their children about how to interact with the police than white families. Let’s be honest. Until we can recognize that white privilege exists we cannot have a dialogue about race. Whether or not you can see if from your vantage point, there is a deep system of institutionalized racism in America, from everyday discrimination to disproportionate incarceration of people of color to people losing their lives at the hands of the police simply for being black. This is not who we claim to be as a nation. It is wrong and I won’t stand for it

So, it would appear that she is, indeed, a highly indoctrinated American. A victim of our education system, and of the media narrative about America, race, police, and crime. Consider her belief that police are brutally targeting Blacks

I cannot idly stand by as black people are unlawfully profiled, harassed and killed by our law enforcement over and over and without a drop of accountability

This is a very common misconception that groups like Black Lives Matter have pushed repeatedly. That police are never held to account for “hunting down” Black Americans. This is patently untrue. Every police shooting is investigated, ballistic, forensic, and eye-witness testimony are weighed and yes, some officers are charged, some are not. Some who are charged are convicted, some are not. Police, like everyone deserve justice be allowed to work. The problem with “Social Justice” is that it has no interest in actual justice. Take the next statement from Tysse

Whether or not you can see if from your vantage point, there is a deep system of institutionalized racism in America, from everyday discrimination to disproportionate incarceration of people of color to people losing their lives at the hands of the police simply for being black

Again, she makes a patently false accusation that police are shooting Blacks for their skin color. She then goes into the narrative of “disproportioante incarceration”, which is also false. Social Justice types look at Blacks, and say they are 13% of the population, yet they are, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons, 37.8% of the prison poulation Whites make up 58.7%. To the Social Justice Warrior, or SJW, this is glaring evidence of racism. But what happens when you compare the number of Blacks who commit crimes, to the number incarcerated? According to the FBI numbers of those arrested for crimes, all crimes is 28.3%. Now look at the rates for violent crime only. The FBI defines Violent crimes as offenses of murder and non-negligent manslaughter, rape, robbery, and aggravated assault.

For 2014 the violent crime arrest rate for Whites was 59.4 %. Comapre that to the prison poulation for Whites 58.7%. Now compare the Black pison poulation, 37.8% to the violent crime arrests of Blacks which is 37.7%. Disproportionate? Hardly. The percentage of Blacks arrested for violent crimes is alomost identical to the  percentage of Blacks incacerated. The numbers or arrests from 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013 are almost the same. the only thing that stands out as “disproportionate” is the violent crime rate in the Black community.

Perhaps Tysse, and her fellow SJW’s should do a bit of research BEFORE denouncing police, America, and our justice system? Tysse wrote this on Fcaebook, maybe she should ammend this

Let’s be honest. Until we can recognize that white privilege exists we cannot have a dialogue about race.

No, let us be truly honest Ms. Tysse, until people like yourself start addressing the real issues here, the disproportionate violent crime rate among young Black men, gangs, the victim mentality, and the abscence of fathers in so many young Black people’s lives, the plight of so many Blacks will not improve
