Trump Adds Rudy Giuliani To Cyber-Security Team – Daily Caller
.

.
President-elect Donald Trump announced the addition of former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani to a White House team tasked with improving cyber security both within the government and private sector Thursday morning.

Giuliani – who currently serves as both chairman and CEO of Giuliani Partners and chairman of global cyber security practice at Greenberg Traurig – will “be sharing his expertise and insight as a trusted friend concerning private sector cyber security problems and emerging solutions developing in the private sector,” Trump’s transition team wrote in a statement.

The statement added that Giuliani and Trump “will be hosting a series of meetings with senior corporate executives from companies which have faced or are facing challenges similar to those facing the government and public entities today, such as hacking, intrusions, disruptions, manipulations, theft of data and identities, and securing information technology infrastructure.”…

Vote-A-Rama Ends With Senate Passing Obamacare Repeal – Breitbart

The Senate is already rolling back President Barack Obama’s legacy.

It passed the continuing resolution, S. Con.Res. 3, that tears away the fees, taxes and subsidies from the 201o Patient Protection and Affordable Cart Act, Obamacare, shortly after 1:25 Thursday morning, 51-to-48.

All Republicans, except for Sen. Rand Paul (R.-KY), voted for the resolution. Paul criticized the budget resolution for not addressing the federal debt and for not having a companion replacement bill. Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D.-CA), who is recovering from a scheduled medical procedure was absent from the chamber.

As senators waited for their names to be called by the clerk, Paul approached the clerk’s desk from side and whispered: “No.”

All Democrats and the two Independents who caucus with Democrats voted against the resolution.

Soon after they voted, virtually all Republicans left the floor. Among the handful staying behind were Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R.-KY) and Majority Whip John Cornyn (R.-Texas), along with Sen. John R. Thune (R.-S.D.), Sen. Roy Blunt (R.-MO) in the front. McConnell sat quietly at his desk, but Cornyn stood tall in the well watching the votes come in.

All of the Democrats did not respond with their names were called off and they sat glumly with their armed crossed or their chins resting on their hand. When the Republicans were done, led by Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer (D.-N.Y.), each Democrat attempted to make remarks with their vote…

Trump Effect: Amazon To Create 100,000 New U.S. Jobs – Truthfeed
.

.
Amazon will be adding 100k new U.S. jobs as the Trump Effect continues to sweep the nation.

Now let’s remember Jeff Bezos and Donald Trump are far from “best friends.” Amazon and the liberal media will likely attempt to minimize the effect Trump had on this decision.

However, the truth of the matter is Trump’s America First policy helped make this happen. Imagine the outrage if Amazon announced a slew of new jobs that would be based in Mexico? In Trump’s America, outsourcing jobs is equivalent to a P.R. nightmare, and keeping jobs at home are a P.R. BOON. The incentives are finally in the right direction and Trump didn’t even need a “magic wand.”

From TheHill

“The president-elect was pleased to play role in that decision,” incoming White House press secretary Sean Spicer said during a transition call…

Judge Rules Woman Can’t Sue Trump For Calling Her A “Dummy” On Twitter – CBS News

Donald Trump can’t be sued for defamation by a political strategist who said her reputation was trashed after then-candidate Trump called her a “dummy” on Twitter during last year’s presidential campaign, according to a judge’s decision made public Tuesday.

Manhattan state Supreme Court Judge Barbara Jaffe ruled that though Mr. Trump’s tweets about public relations strategist and Republican consultant Cheryl Jacobus were “rife with vague and simplistic insults,” they were expressions of opinion protected by the First Amendment.

“Thus, although the intemperate tweets are clearly intended to belittle and demean plaintiff,” they wouldn’t prevent her from working as a consultant and political commentator, Jaffe wrote in a 20-page decision signed Monday.

Jacobus’ lawyer, Jay Butterman, vowed to appeal the decision, adding that the ruling had effectively given “now President-elect Donald Trump a free pass to trample on the free speech rights of any critic.”

Larry Rosen, Mr. Trump’s attorney, called Jaffe’s decision “well-reasoned.” A transition spokeswoman didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

The case has its roots in a February appearance Jacobus made on CNN, in which she said the Republican candidate’s presidential campaign had not been transparent about its financing.

Jacobus had previously had two meetings with then-Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski in the summer of 2015 about a possible job with the campaign…

Lunatic John McCain Admits He Handed Dossier Smearing Trump To FBI – Daily Mail
.

.
Sworn Donald Trump enemy John McCain admitted Wednesday that he passed the dossier of claims of a Russian blackmail plot against the president-elect – calling it ‘what any citizen should do’.

McCain – a longstanding anti-Trump Republican who had disassociated himself from the candidate’s campaign weeks before the election – cast himself as an innocent and concerned member of the public as he justified his move.

He claimed he had no idea whether it was accurate or not – but that he believed the FBI should have it because it was ‘sensitive’.

‘I did what any citizen should do. I received sensitive information and handed it to the FBI,’ he told CNN – the network which broke the story that the document existed. It was then published in full by Buzzfeed…

Michigan Man Issued Parking Ticket In His Own Driveway – Zero Hedge

The state of Michigan is not exactly known for its balmy weather this time of year.

And residents reasonably do what they have to do to cope with often extreme winter temperatures.

Last Thursday a man named Taylor Trupiano of Roseville, Michigan did what a lot of people do in cold climates.

He walked out of his house, started his car, turned on the heat, and went back inside for a few minutes while his engine and vehicle interior warmed up.

According to Mr. Trupiano, he was only inside for about 7 or 8 minutes.

But by the time he came back to his car, there was already a parking ticket on his windshield– with a fine totaling $128.

Some local police officer had apparently driven by, noticed the vehicle was unattended, written up this heinous infraction, and left.

There are so many things wrong with this picture it’s hard to know where to begin.

First off, the citation that Mr. Trupiano received was a parking ticket. Yet his car was parked on his own private property.

Let that sink in: this man received a parking ticket while his car was parked on his own property.

You can’t even park your car on your own property anymore without being in violation of some series of laws, rules, or local ordinances.

The city government’s reasoning is that, if you leave a vehicle unattended, it may encourage car thieves to steal it.

This is pretty flimsy logic.

Sure, maybe if a car thief is standing right there he/she may take the opportunity…

Obama’s War On Police Continues With Sneaky Thing He’s Ramming Through Before Trump’s Inauguration – Fury News
.

.
Ironically in the wake of the kidnapping and torture of a mentally handicap boy by 4 Black Lives Matter supporters in Chicago, Obama feels the need to push for overhauls of the police in Chicago and Baltimore.

That’s right. Obama blames the crime rate in the two most violent cities in America on the police and wants to push as hard as he can for a complete overhaul before Trump takes over. So, instead of addressing the crimes and those who perpetrate them the most in these two cities Obama is instead holding the ones who are trying to stop the crime as the responsible party.

Does anyone else think this is the most asinine thing ever, or is it just me?

The mainstream media is running with this story as a way to “outline police brutality against the black communities,” yet NO ONE wants to add or outline the black on black crime rates in these cities…

Navy Submariner Invokes Hillary Clinton Defense In Bid For Clemency Over Classified Photographs – Washington Times

A former Navy submariner sent to prison for photographing his ship’s classified engine compartments has filed a presidential clemency request, arguing that President-elect Donald Trump should realize the sailor was a “scapegoat” amid the FBI probe into Hillary Clinton’s mishandling of classified material.

The paperwork was filed Monday with the Justice Department’s office of the pardon attorney, which now will conduct an investigation.

The case of former Machinist Mate 1st Class Kristian Saucier has become a cause celebre for conservatives. They watched the young sailor go to prison for carelessness with classified information while Mrs. Clinton avoided any punishment from the Obama administration.

The inmate’s mother, Kathleen Saucier, became his public advocate in TV interviews during the presidential campaign. She told The Washington Times that her message to Mr. Trump, who takes office Jan. 20, is: “I would like to say to Mr. Trump that I believe that he’s our hope to re-evaluate the way things are done in our government and that we, as American patriots, should never have to be in the position that myself and my family and I am sure many others have been.”

Saucier pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court to a charge of unauthorized retention of defense information and was sentenced Aug. 16 to a year in prison. For what he calls a “keepsake,” he took six cellphone pictures of his work area aboard the nuclear attack submarine USS Alexandria in 2009. They remained in his phone…

ABC’s Ratings Plunge When Megyn Kelly Appears – WorldNetDaily
.

.
Will Megyn Kelly be the next Katie Couric as she makes her transition to NBC?

Time will tell, but the former Fox News anchorwoman’s recent appearance on ABC’s “Good Morning America” is raising eyebrows as it reportedly caused the network’s ratings to plunge drastically.

While she was still employed by Fox and plugging her book, “Settle For More,” Kelly was interviewed by ABC’s George Stephanopoulos during a Nov. 15 segment on “GMA.”

According to Mediaite, “The minute-by-minute ratings for GMA took a major (and surprising) dive during her segment…”

Rachel Stockman of Mediaite noted: “According to sources with access to those all important and specific network ratings, Kelly appeared for approximately 10 minutes at around 7:31 a.m., during that time, the ratings continued to plummet in particular compared to other days…

Trump Selects David Shulkin As VA Secretary – Daily Caller

GOP President-elect Donald Trump has selected current Department of Veterans Affairs official David Shulkin to serve as head of the agency.

In his first press conference since July, Trump announced Wednesday that he was picking Shulkin, current under secretary for health, to serve as secretary of the VA.

Such a move is monumental, as Shulkin, if confirmed, would be the first non-veteran to ever serve in the position, which may come off as odd to some observers.

Trump emphasized during his campaign how highly he thinks of veterans, and so has tapped top generals for positions, namely retired Marine Corps Gen. James Mattis for secretary of defense, retired Marine Corps Gen. John Kelly for secretary of Homeland Security and former Army Lt. Gen. Mike Flynn for national security adviser.

Shulkin was picked for his current position by President Barack Obama in 2015 and has testified numerous times before Congress about VA scandals, meaning he will be somewhat of a familiar face to legislators and also personally familiar with the process of being endlessly questioned.

The selection process for the position of VA secretary was much lengthier than initially anticipated and involved many candidates dropping out of the running and gaining favor, losing it and gaining it again. Several times, Pete Hegseth, former CEO of Concerned Veterans for America, was believed to be a top candidate for the post, just like former GOP Sen. Scott Brown, but at the end of the day, the two fell out of favor…

Donald Trump Holds First Press Conference As President-Elect – Real Radio
.

.
Donald Trump is facing the media for the first time since he was elected President of the United States. The press conference started with Trump transition spokesman Sean Spicer denying the claims in recently released intelligence report that claim Russia had damaging information on Trump and was using it to blackmail the President-Elect.

In his opening remarks to the press Trump addressed the report and praised the media, which had seen the report over the summer but could not verify the claims and did not report on it. He questioned whether the intelligence agencies leaked the document to the media and said it would be a “tremendous blot” on them if they did.

He also spoke about how he will be great for the economy and touted recent news of auto companies changing plans to build factories in Mexico and instead keep those jobs in the US. He said he will “the greatest job producer God ever created.”…

NYT Accuses CNN, BuzzFeed Of Peddling “Fake News” Over Russia Report – Zero Hedge

In a fascinating retort by the left-leaning NYT to the story of the day, namely the CNN-BuzzFeed narrative based on an unverified 35-page memo allegedly prepared by a UK intelligence officer, even “the paper of record” takes the two media outlets to town, and in an article titled “BuzzFeed Posts Unverified Claims on Trump, Stirring Debate” essentially accuses them of doing what CNN has accused so much of the ‘alternative media’ in doing when distributing “fake news.”

Here are the key excerpts:

The reports by CNN and Buzzfeed sent other news organizations, including The New York Times and The Washington Post, scrambling to publish their own articles, some of which included generalized descriptions of the unverified allegations about Mr. Trump. By late Tuesday, though, only BuzzFeed had published the full document.

BuzzFeed’s decision, besides its immediate political ramifications for a president-elect who is to be inaugurated in 10 days, was sure to accelerate a roiling debate about the role and credibility of the traditional media in today’s frenetic, polarized information age.

And the punchline, where the NYT essentially accuses both CNN and BuzzFeed of stooping to the level of “fake news” disseminators:

Of particular interest was the use of unsubstantiated information from anonymous sources, a practice that fueled some of the so-called fake news – false rumors passed off as legitimate journalism – that proliferated during the presidential election…

Shocker: Intelligence Report Shows Released GITMO Terrorists Are Returning To Terrorism – WFB

A senior House Republican urged President Obama on Tuesday to “immediately halt” the transfer of Guantanamo Bay detainees, citing a new intelligence report that found recently released prisoners were returning to terrorism.

House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Ed Royce wrote in a letter to Obama that his administration was knowingly transferring detainees to countries that lack the ability to prevent terrorists from returning to the “battlefield,” the Hill reported.

“The committee has just received a troubling new report from the intelligence community indicating that former detainees recently transferred out of Guantanamo Bay by your administration are attempting to return to terrorism,” Royce wrote.

“Your efforts to close the detention facility at Guantanamo Bay cannot come at the expense of U.S. national security,” he continued.

The Defense Department last week transferred four detainees to Saudi Arabia and another one to Cabo Verde in December. It is unclear from Royce’s letter whether these prisoners had attempted to return to terrorism.

The White House told Congress last month it intended to transfer 17 or 18 detainees from the military prison before the close of the Obama administration on Jan. 20. If the administration is successful, 41 or 42 prisoners would remain in Guantanamo under President-elect Donald Trump.

Trump warned the president against pursuing additional transfers before he takes office.

“There should be no further releases from Gitmo. These are extremely dangerous people and should not be allowed back onto the battlefield,” Trump recently wrote on Twitter…

President Asshat Approves 130 Tons Of Uranium Shipped To Iran Via Russia – Daily Wire
.

.
Unsatisfied with stoking the fiery cauldrons of Islamic fundamentalism with his weak-kneed response during his eight-year tenure, Barack Obama has now enabled Iran, the world’s leading sponsor of terrorism, to speed ever-closer toward successful attainment of nuclear weapons, approving a secret delivery of roughly 130 tons of uranium for the fundamentalist Iranian regime.

As AP reports, the move to send Iran the uranium from Russia is supposedly to curry favor with Iran so it will remain committed to the nuclear deal it negotiated with the West:

Iran is to receive a huge shipment of natural uranium from Russia to compensate it for exporting tons of reactor coolant, diplomats say, in a move approved by the outgoing U.S. administration and other governments seeking to keep Tehran committed to a landmark nuclear pact…

Screeching Leftist Douchebags Crawl Out Of Woodwork During Sessions’ Confirmation Hearing – Zero Hedge

With opening comments barely underway, several protesters have already been escorted out of Senator Jeff Sessions’ confirmation hearing.

The first interruption came from these lovely gentemen who, dressed in KKK garb, shouted “White people don’t get arrested… white people own this country” as they were quickly escorted by police off the premises.

“You can’t arrest me, I’m white. White people don’t get arrested. What do we have to do, wait for the inauguration?”

“You can not take me out of here. White people own this country.”

And here is another angle of the madness, where one protester attributes his interruption to the Black Lives Matter movement.

“Senator Sessions is a racist and he will only continue racist policies. We need to listen to Black Lives Matter.”

Meanwhile, this young lady insists that you just “say no to the Trump fascist regime.”

“Say no to the Trump fascist regime. We have to stop these motherfucking pigs from getting into power.”

“You’re a pig! Stop these fascist pigs from getting into power.”…

Bar In Bristol Manages To Pull Off A Stunning 10-Table Pool And Golf Shot – Daily Mail
.

.
Imagine a trick shot involving two flights of stairs, 10 tables and a roll along a bar.

It sounds impossible, right? It would require unerring accuracy, pinpoint precision and a dash of good luck.

But that is what All Stars Bar in Bristol have managed, pulling off a trick shot that would put the vast majority of professionals in both golf and pool to shame.

Not only that, but the video, which has gone viral on Facebook, demonstrates an understanding of the two distinct skill sets and sports.

It begins with a put down a flight of stairs, perfectly aimed to knock on a succession of balls. Those feed into more on the same staircase, before a ball flies across the floor.

Next comes a series of precise rolls across pool cues placed strategically between tables…

Black Pastors Say Trump’s AG Pick Jeff Sessions Is Not Racist – Christian Post

Black pastors have denounced “baseless” accusations that Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala., who is President-elect Donald Trump’s choice to be the next attorney general of the United States, is a racist.

“Americans are living in a toxic climate where the serious charge of racism is carelessly leveled against anyone with whom the Left disagrees,” the Rev. Dean Nelson, board chairman of the Frederick Douglass Foundation and minister at Salem Baptist Church in Virginia, told the media Monday. “We are here today to make it perfectly clear that this against Senator Jeff Sessions is baseless and that he is more than qualified to be the next attorney general.”

Some in the mainstream media have been accused of trying to paint Sessions as a racist, even before the announcement of 70-year-old Sessions as Trump’s attorney general pick…
