Lawsuits Against Trump On ‘Muslim Immigration Ban’ Will Fail Fast – Robert Barnes

Council American-Islamic Relations announced an intention to sue President Donald Trump over his executive order banning most immigrants from Syria, and other countries that lack certain vetting standards and have issues with terrorism. Overnight, refugees who were in the air on the way to the United States are now being detained, and have also filed legal actions. The ban is perceived by some as a partial Muslim ban. Either way, at any trial, the law supports Trump’s order, and CAIR or others are likely to lose, completely, conclusively and quickly.

Liberal lawyer critics of Trump are making a habit of losing in their appeal to any branch other than elections – lost recount lawsuits, lost elector lawsuits, lost Russia-conspiracy derived lawsuits. Now, get ready to add lost emolument lawsuits and lost immigration lawsuits.

The Constitution gives Congress and the President exclusive, plenary control over immigration. This is how both Carter and Obama could single out various states or beliefs to exclude migrants on that basis, as both did.

First, the Constitution gives Congress the right to determine naturalization, and Congress gives the President express power to do as he did…

At Least 25 Million Dead And Fraudulent “Registered Voters” In 2016 – Real Strategy
.

.
A study revealing that over 800,000 non-citizens voted for Hillary Clinton doesn’t account for dead and fraudulent voters, which accounted for over 25 million “registered voters” during the 2012 presidential election – and little has changed since then.

Illegal alien voters combined with dead and “multiple state” voters could easily explain Clinton’s “popular vote” margin over Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election, especially considering that her “victory” came from Democratic-controlled counties known for illegal immigration and loose voter ID laws such as in New York and California.

“A report by the Pew Center on the States finds that more than 1.8 million dead people are currently registered to vote, and 24 million registrations are either invalid or inaccurate,” NPR reported in 2012, which is ironic given how NPR is heavily controlled by Democrats…

Babbling Imbecile (Aka Seattle Mayor) Says City Not Being A Sanctuary For Illegals Betrays The Constitution – Daily Caller

Seattle Mayor Ed Murray said on MSNBC Thursday that the Constitution dictates cities harbor illegal immigrants.

“$72 million goes to your city for federal funding, and you are at risk of losing a lot of at,” MSNBC’s Hallie Jackson first posed to Murray.

“At any point, mayor, have you reconsidered when you look at these numbers and the money that goes to Seattle, have you reconsidered being a sanctuary city? Has that ever crossed your mind?”

“It hasn’t,” the Washington Democrat flatly responded. “It means we would betray the Constitution of this country.”

“This is a city that is not going to allow children to be taken out of their schools and neighbors taken out of their homes,” he continued. “You said, ‘I’ believe we’re being coerced. Actually, the Constitution says that the President is coercing us.”…

Mike Pence Makes History As First Vice President To Speak At Annual ‘March For Life’ – Western Journalism
.

.
Vice President Mike Pence made history Friday as he revved up the enthusiasm of crowd gathered for the 44th annual March for Life, which protests the 1973 Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion in America.

“Life is winning,” declared Pence, who became the first vice president to address the annual march. White House counselor Kellyanne Conway also attended.

“We’re in the promise-keeping business. That’s why this administration will work with the Congress to end taxpayer funding of abortion and abortion providers,” Pence told the tens of thousands gathered at the National Mall in Washington, D.C…

‘An Enemy Within’: Keith Ellison Exposed – WorldNetDaily

He was put into office by dedicated communists. He supported the dissolution of the United States to create an ethnostate only for blacks. He’s been the biggest defender of the Muslim Brotherhood in Congress.

And, now, he’s poised to take over one of America’s two major political parties.

He’s Rep. Keith Ellison of Minnesota. And he’s one of “The Enemies Within” profiled in Trevor Loudon’s explosive new documentary of that name.

Loudon, who has researched communism and leftist movements for decades, says Ellison has a long partnership with anti-American movements, dating back to when he was as student.

“During his student days, Ellison was very close to the Maoists of Freedom Road Socialist Organization,” he told WND. “They believed in the Communist Party’s old 1930s dream of a black state in the South to split and weaken America to Soviet advantage. It’s no wonder then that Ellison supported a similar notion.”…

Trump, Mexican President Hold Hour-Long Phone Call, Agree Not To Discuss Payment For “The Wall” – Zero Hedge

Is the Mexican president looking to salvage something from yesterday’s dramatic diplomatic devastation?

According to AP, shortly before his meeting with Theresa May, President Donald Trump spent one hour talking on the phone to the president of Mexico, Pena Nieto, amid “rising tensions” over Trump’s proposed wall along the border. Two administration officials confirmed Friday’s call.

According to Reuters, citing the Mexican government, the conversation between the two presidents included discussions on the trade deficit between the US and Mexico, and also discussed the need for both to work together to stop trafficking of drugs and illegal arms. Furthermore, the president agreed not to speak publicly for now on the “controversial” subject of payment for the border wall. During the Theresa May press conference, Trump said that the call was “very good” and “friendly”, and has a “very good relationship” with Nieto, but added that “Mexico has made us look foolish” and the trade deals will be renegotiated…

Miami-Dade Ends Sanctuary City Policy, Bowing To Trump’s Order – Washington Times
.

.
The mayor of Miami-Dade ended the county’s sanctuary city policy Thursday, just a day after President Trump threatened to pull federal funds from jurisdictions that refuse to cooperate with immigration agents.

Mr. Trump was quick to praise the county, saying on Twitter that it was the “right decision.”

Mayor Carlos Gimenez told the Miami Herald he made the move out of financial concerns, saying the county stood to lose millions of dollars if Mr. Trump follows through on his new executive order directing the federal government to withhold any allowable federal funds…

You’re Fired: Trump Cans Border Patrol Chief – Daily Mail

The Department of Homeland Security has asked U.S. Border Patrol Chief Mark Morgan, a former longtime Federal Bureau of Investigation agent, to step down from his post.

News of his departure, expected within a month, comes as the Trump administration moves toward tougher enforcement of immigration laws.

Two sources familiar with Morgan’s departure told Reuters that he held a morning phone call with employees to say that he was not resigning – but had been asked to leave by the Trump administration.

Morgan’s ouster also comes the day after President Donald Trump announced a broad plan to crack down on border security, including directing the construction of a wall along the border with Mexico.

The border patrol union, which endorsed Trump’s presidential campaign and applauded his executive order, had been critical of Morgan. The union criticized Morgan for supporting former President Barack Obama’s plans to shield certain illegal immigrants from deportation through a White House-driven amnesty…

The Aptly Named Dick Durbin Shuts Off Phones After Pro-Israel Constituents Go On Offense – Washington Free Beacon
.

.
More than a thousand pro-Israel supporters from across the country bombarded the offices of Senate Whip Dick Durbin (Ill.) with phone calls, urging the Democratic leader to stop holding up a key congressional initiative to rebuke the United Nations following its recent action against Israel, according to sources familiar with the situation.

Durbin’s offices in Washington, D.C., and Chicago were so overwhelmed by phone calls that staffers were forced to take the phones off the hook for a short time, sources told the Washington Free Beacon.

The phone assault, led by the Republican Jewish Coalition, or RJC, is part of an effort to convince Durbin to release his hold on a Senate measure aiming to condemn the U.N. for its Obama administration-orchestrated efforts to chastise the Jewish state, a move that drew bipartisan outrage among lawmakers…

Trump Considering 20% Border Tax On Mexican Imports To Help Fund Wall – Business Insider

Sean Spicer, the White House press secretary for President Donald Trump, told reporters on Thursday that the administration is pushing for a 20% border tax on Mexican imports.

“When you look at the plan that’s taking shape now, using comprehensive tax reform as a means to tax imports from countries that we have a trade deficit from, like Mexico,” Spicer said, according to a White House pool report.

Spicer said the border tax would be part of a broader tax reform package and would help pay for the proposed wall along the US-Mexico border, according to the report.

“It clearly provides the funding and does so in a way that the American taxpayer is wholly respected,” Spicer said.

Spicer also claimed that the move “gets us in line, frankly, with the policies” of every other “major country” in the world.

Spicer later told NBC News correspondent Peter Alexander that the border tax was not a policy proposal, but an example of how to pay for the wall. Trump Chief of Staff Reince Priebus also said the tax was one of a “buffet of options” for paying for the wall…

Unions Continue To Hemorrhage Members – Washington Free Beacon
.

.
Union membership fell once again, as fewer private sector workers join labor organizations, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

The union membership rate fell below 11 percent nationwide in 2016, a drop of nearly half a percentage point from 2015. Unions lost 240,000 members last year leaving 14.6 million workers belonging to labor organizations. That is nearly a 50 percent decline from the membership rate in 1983 when the BLS began officially tracking the data.

The stark decline in labor union membership was felt most acutely in the private sector. Just 6.4 percent of non-government employees pay union dues or fees, a 30 percent drop from 2000…

Six People Shot At Gun Violence Victim’s Memorial In Leftist-Controlled Chicago – Pajamas Media

Rahm’s Chicago.

During a memorial service for a victim of criminal gun violence on the South Side of Chicago, six people were shot including a 12-year-old girl.

Community activist Jedidiah Brown told reporters that “the opposition” to those attending the memorial came through an alley before opening fire on the group of mourners. He added that the mother of the person being memorialized was also among the victims, though police have not confirmed that information.

A 12-year-old girl suffered a graze wound to the head from a bullet, police said, and was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital, where her condition had stabilized.

Four of the victims are in stable condition while two remain in serious condition.

“I’m asking that those individuals who may see this, that are planning retaliation right now, that you stand down from that and that we look for peaceful alternatives,” Brown said.

Police have not made any arrests yet.

So far in January 2016, 44 people have been shot and killed and 219 have been shoot and wounded. The city has seen 45 homicides this month with six days left in the month…

Bill To Begin Brexit Introduced In UK Parliament – News Max
.

Britain’s government on Thursday published a draft law that would authorize Prime Minister Theresa May to begin the procedure for leaving the European Union in an important milestone towards Brexit.

“The British people have made the decision to leave the EU… so today we have introduced a bill in parliament which will allow us to formally trigger Article 50 by the end of March,” said Brexit minister David Davis.

The two clause “European Union Notification of Withdrawal Bill” asks parliament to give May authority to “notify, under Article 50(2) of the Treaty on European Union, the United Kingdom’s intention to withdraw from the EU.”

The government said MPs would get their first chance to debate it on Tuesday and Wednesday next week.

The government is being forced to go to parliament following a landmark Supreme Court ruling this week that rejected its argument that executive powers allowed it to proceed without prior approval…
