Senators Warn: FBI, Other Agencies Working In Buildings Owned By China – Washington Examiner

Federal officials are putting sensitive materials in foreign-owned buildings, making them vulnerable to cyberattack and espionage, senators warned Friday.

Their alarm bells were set off by a report that said the General Services Administration has been placing FBI agents and other “high-security” government officials in buildings owned by foreign entities in China and other countries. The GSA didn’t tell the tenants, according to the government report, so the officials aren’t taking addition security precautions.

“Yet, in some cases the space is used for classified operations and to store sensitive data,” Sen. Steve Daines, R-Mont., and Sen. Tammy Duckworth, D-Ill., wrote in a Thursday letter to acting GSA Administrator Timothy Horne. “Given the highly sensitive information that is often stored at high-security leased sites, we are concerned with the lack of policies and procedures concerning the ownership of these sites.”…

So There’s This 3D-Printed House That Cost $10,000 And Was Built In 24 Hours… – Zero Hedge
.

.
While 3D-printing may have been faded away in recent years from the spotlight of core “disruptive” technologies, that may soon change again after a company managed to 3D-print an entire house in just 24 hours. Located in Russia, the following 400-square-foot home, or 37 square meters, was built in just a day, at a cost of slightly over $10,000.

As profiled in the Telegraph, the company Apis Cor, 3D-printing specialists based in Russia and San Francisco, built the house using a mobile printer on-site. According to the company, the walls of the building were printed and painted in just 24 hours.

What makes Apis’ process unique is that while 3D-printing a home usually involves creating the parts off-site and constructing the building later, Apis Cor uses a mobile printer to print their apartments on-site…

Ten people were arrested in Berkeley, California on Saturday following an anti-Trump protest that sought to counter a march in support of President Trump.

“A total of 10 people were arrested, including five for battery, four for assault with a deadly weapon and one for resisting arrest,” reported The Marin Independent Journal on Saturday. “Police reported items confiscated among the combatants were: ‘metal pipes, bats, 2x4s and pieces of wood. A group with bricks was detained, and their bricks confiscated.’”

“Some anti-Trump protesters threw things at Trump supporters. Berkeley police made occasional forays into the crowd, but mostly held back,” they continued. “Protesters spilled out into Martin Luther King Junior Way and were fighting in the middle of the street, and there were people punching each other on the sidewalks. Some people had bloody faces. One pro-Trump supporter was apparently sprayed in the face with Mace.”…

Venezuela Is On Its Last Legs As Government Cash Reserves Rapidly Dwindle – Daily Sheeple
.

.
It’s quite frankly amazing that the socialist government running Venezuela is still standing. That country is a testament to the ability of humans to put up with unimaginable poverty and tyranny without flipping their lids and lynching their leaders.

But alas, socialist governments can only last so long, even when their subjects aren’t actively trying to overthrow them. At a certain point these types of governments simply run out of money, which is what it appears is going to happen in Venezuela.

The Venezuelan government only has $10.5 billion left in foreign reserves, which the government has been using in recent years to pay outstanding debts. In 2015 Venezuela had twice that amount, and it had over $30 billion six years ago…

FBI ‘Granted FISA Warrant’ Covering Trump Camp’s Ties To Russia – Heatstreet

Two separate sources with links to the counter-intelligence community have confirmed to Heat Street that the FBI sought, and was granted, a FISA court warrant in October, giving counter-intelligence permission to examine the activities of ‘U.S. persons’ in Donald Trump’s campaign with ties to Russia.

Contrary to earlier reporting in the New York Times, which cited FBI sources as saying that the agency did not believe that the private server in Donald Trump’s Trump Tower which was connected to a Russian bank had any nefarious purpose, the FBI’s counter-intelligence arm, sources say, re-drew an earlier FISA court request around possible financial and banking offenses related to the server.

The first request, which, sources say, named Trump, was denied back in June, but the second was drawn more narrowly and was granted in October after evidence was presented of a server, possibly related to the Trump campaign, and its alleged links to two banks; SVB Bank and Russia’s Alfa Bank…

British MP: ‘The EU Decimated Britain’s Fishing Communities And Now It’s Time To Take Back Control’ – Daily Express
.

.
The European Union decimated British fishing regions, costing thousands of jobs and submerging entire towns into financial hardship – but now Britain can take back control, blasts a prominent Tory MP.

Scott Mann, MP for North Cornwall, told Express.co.uk coastal communities were “sold out” during EU negotiations and it is time to put measures in place to make sure they flourish once more.

The 39-year-old, speaking at the Conservative Progress Conference in Waterloo, also said it was madness that the EU would contemplate laying territorial claim to British waters.

Under the Convention of the Law of the Sea, Britain has unequivocal rights to the water around its borders, says Mr Mann…

143-Million-Gallon ‘Tsunami’ Of Sewage Leaks Across Mexican Border, Closing California Beaches – Daily Mail

A massive sewage spill from Mexico’s Tijuana River that polluted miles of coastland and shut down beaches in Southern California is under investigation by federal authorities.

U.S. officials have said the spill that caused about 143 million gallons of sewage to leak across the border was deliberate, while Mexican authorities believe it was an accident caused by heavy rain.

The pollution closed beaches and kept surfers and swimmers out of the ocean, drawing outrage from residents of the cross-border region who say they weren’t told of the leak until weeks later.

The tidal wave of raw sewage ran for 18 days and only stopped last week on February 23. The public didn’t learn about it until the next day.

The spill is believed to have occurred during repairs to Tijuana’s sewage system.

U.S. officials, including Imperial Beach Mayor Serge Dedina, believe the spill was deliberate to cut corners during repair work on a sewer pipeline in Mexico…

Donald Trump Questions ‘Sick Guy’ Barack Obama For ‘Wire Tapping’ His Campaign – Breitbart
.

.
President Donald Trump accused former President Barack Obama of wiretapping his campaign headquarters during the election in a series of messages on Twitter.

“Terrible! Just found out that Obama had my ‘wires tapped’ in Trump Tower just before the victory,” he wrote on Twitter. “Nothing found. This is McCarthyism!”

Trump questioned whether it was legal for Obama to be wiretapping a presidential candidate while he was still in office.

“How low has President Obama gone to tapp (sic) my phones during the very sacred election process,” he wrote. “This is Nixon/Watergate. Bad (or sick) guy! Is it legal for a sitting President to be ‘wire tapping’ a race for president prior to an election? Turned down by court earlier. A NEW LOW!”…

Commerce Secretary Ross Hints At Brilliant NAFTA Negotiation Strategy: ‘Make Mexico Great Again’ – Conservative Treehouse

Oh, this guy is too good at this stuff. Lots of love for Wilbur the Wolverine.

Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross hints at a strategy for NAFTA renegotiation with Mexico that completely annihilates any leftist opposition, and simultaneously drops the greatest humanitarian narrative right in the lap of the globalists. Make Mexico raise their minimum wage.

Currently the minimum wage in Mexico is 80 pesos per day. Around $4 per day, and the length of the workday is up to the hiring company. The minimum wage in the U.S. for an eight hour day is $58 ($7.90/hr x 8). Additionally, almost no-one in the U.S. makes minimum wage, and almost everyone in Mexico makes minimum wage.

Here comes Wilbur the magnanimous and says: Lets Make Mexico Great, by adding in a requirement that Mexico raises their minimum wage to say, oh, $800 pesos per day ($40) as part of our NAFTA renegotiation…

Chuck Schumer Pulled Visa Strings For Indian Athlete Now Accused Of Child Sex Abuse – Fox News
.

.
A snowshoe racer from India whose entry into the U.S. to compete was made possible by Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer was being held Friday in a New York jail on a sex charge.

The U.S. embassy in New Delhi last month rejected Tanveer Hussain’s application for a visa so he could compete in the World Snowshoe Championship in upstate. Local officials then intervened on Hussain’s behalf, appealing for help to the offices of Schumer and Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y. Their offices reached out to the New Delhi embassy, which allowed Hussain to reapply for a visa and granted that visa.

“Obviously, this is a troubling matter for him – these are troubling accusations,” Brian Barrett, Hussain’s lawyer, told Fox News over the phone…

European Commission President Has Meltdown While Debating Future Of EU: “Shit! What Do You Want Us To Do?” – Zero Hedge

There should be no doubt about the current status of the European Union. It’s crumbling before our very eyes. Between the sprawling unaccountable bureaucracy in Brussels, the unpayable debts, the unfettered immigration, and the unprecedented emergence of conservative, nationalistic groups, it’s obvious that the EU is not long for this world. No nation can survive those pressures; much less a loosely held, 24 year old political union consisting of a wide variety of languages and cultures.

And this fact is beginning to show. Not just because nations like the UK have already voted to leave the EU, and talk of independence referendums is spreading like wildfire across the continent. This fact is beginning to show on the faces and lips of the EU’s leaders.

Currently EU parliament members are debating about what direction the union should go in following Brexit, in an effort to to keep the union together. Some have proposed bringing the EU back to the days when it was a modest trading block with no political authority…

FBI Quietly Releases Batch #7 Of Hillary Investigation Notes – Conservative Treehouse
.

.
Internet researcher Katica has again discovered the FBI quietly, and without explanation, just released another batch of documents from the “ongoing” FBI investigation into Hillary Clinton’s email use and classified information. This is release #7, and follows the prior release #6 which oddly took place on Superbowl weekend.

This batch includes FBI notes from multiple interviews including Sidney Blumenthal, and contains discussions of guidance and opinion provided to Blumenthal (with the intent to pass along to Clinton) by a retired CIA operative identified in the notes as “TD”.

These releases continue to be odd in their distribution; they surface as more of a leak than an official release – there is no public notification – this is the same way release #5 and release #6 surfaced…

Illegals Cut 9,287 Holes In Obama-Era Border Fence – CNS

During a six-year stretch of the Obama presidency, people illegally crossing the U.S.-Mexico border cut 9,287 holes in the “pedestrian” fencing that currently covers only 354 miles of the 1,954-mile border, according to a report published by the Government Accountability Office.

Only 654 miles of the 1,954-mile-long U.S.-Mexico border currently have any type of fencing, according to GAO. The other 1,300 miles of border have no fencing.

Of the 654 miles of fencing, 354 miles consists of what the Department of Homeland Security calls “pedestrian” fencing. The other 300 miles is “vehicle” fencing.

“Border fencing types,” explains GAO, “include pedestrian fencing, which is primarily intended to slow down and deter pedestrians from crossing the border, and vehicle fencing, which is intended to resist vehicles engaged in drug trafficking and alien smuggling operations and is typically used in rural or isolated locations that have a low occurrence of illegal pedestrian traffic.”…

Violent, Neo-Nazi Leftists Assault Lecturer Charles Murray And Female Professor At Middlebury College – Washington Free Beacon

Protesters shouted down and physically intimidated Charles Murray, the prominent conservative political scientist, at Middlebury College on Thursday evening.

Protesters attacked Murray and a professor, Allison Stanger, after disrupting Murray’s planned lecture and forcing a change of venue. One demonstrator yanked Stanger by the hair. The professor was taken to the emergency room as a result of the assault.

“One of the demonstrators pulled Prof. Stanger’s hair and twisted her neck,” Bill Burger, the college’s vice president of communications and marketing, told the Addison County Independent. “She was attended to at Porter Hospital later and (on Friday) is wearing a neck brace.”

Earlier, scores of protesters took over the lecture hall where Murray was supposed to speak. When Murray approached the podium, they stood up and turned their backs on him, drowning out his attempts to speak with chants, jeers, and a lengthy denunciation of his “hate speech.”…

Obama Officials Set Up Sessions’ Meeting With Russian Ambassador – PJ Media

It should already be obvious that the fake media firestorm over Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ meetings last year with the Russian ambassador is nothing more than the Democrat Media Complex – led by Obama’s shadow government – trying to take down a key member of the Trump administration.

Their game is to find some minor issue (Sessions could have been more forthcoming during his confirmation hearing) and turn it into a major impeachment-worthy scandal.

It’s a tried and true strategy that Democrats and their friends in the media were able to pull off with amazing success during the Bush years…

Man Accused Of Unwanted Toe Sucking At Ohio Mall – U.S. News & World Report

A man charged with taking off a woman’s shoe and sucking her toes without permission at a mall has been accused of massaging the feet of other women without their consent.

Joseph Jones, of Toledo, was in court Tuesday to face menacing and sexual imposition charges.

He told a judge he is being targeted after earlier pleading not guilty to sexual imposition.

“I’m actually a good person, I’m a business owner,” he said in court, where he was placed on electronic monitoring and told not to contact the women who asked for protection orders.

Court records show he was first accused of sucking the toes and kissing the cheek of a store employee at a Toledo mall in December.

Melissa Portala said she told her 18-year-old daughter to contact police after she said Jones asked to see her shoes and then began sucking on her toes. “She froze and didn’t know what to do,” Portala told WTOL-TV…

Restaurant Tells American Legion Officers To Remove Vests Because They Represent Gang Affiliation – Military Times

American Legion officers say they were told they weren’t permitted to wear their affiliated jackets at a Dave & Buster’s in Michigan because they showed evidence of gang affiliation.

Victor Murdock and Adrienne Brown of the American Legion Riders Post 179 out of Grandville say they were told they couldn’t wear their vests inside the Kentwood restaurant. The vests have patches of the American flag, the Prisoner of War flag and a bald eagle.

The Texas-based company said in a statement that the group was asked to remove the jackets or turn them inside out because the business’ dress code prohibits evidence of gang affiliation. Spokeswoman April Spearman said the policy was in place “to ensure that everyone is able to enjoy themselves in a fun and safe environment.”

“Though we understand that the American Legion promotes a positive mission, for consistency reasons we cannot allow motorcycle jackets displaying patches or rockers,” she said…

N.H. Governor: Illegal Aliens Are Running Drugs From Sanctuary Cities – Red Alert Politics

In recent years, New Hampshire has been plagued by a heroin epidemic affecting youth throughout the state. This issue was highlighted in the recent presidential campaign, with Donald Trump frequently commenting on the issue when campaigning in the Granite State.

Trump often professed genuine astonishment that such a beautiful state could be so afflicted with drug problems. He touted his proposal of building a wall along the US-Mexico border as part of the solution to the problem, claiming Mexico as the source for the drugs flowing into New Hampshire.

Just yesterday, New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu (R) named illegal immigrants and sanctuary cities as being responsible for 85 percent of the fentanyl entering the state, per an interview with Boston Herald Radio.

Specifically, Sununu blamed the sanctuary city of Lawrence, Massachusetts as a significant part of the conduit moving drugs between Mexico and the northeastern region of the United States…

President Trump Orders EPA To ‘Zero Out’ Global Warming Programs – Daily Caller

The White House is pushing for significant cuts to EPA programs and staff levels, giving a glimpse of how the Trump administration plans on devolving more control to the states.

The budget plan sent from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) to EPA leadership calls for eliminating dozens of programs, including at least 16 that have to do with global warming and implementing former President Barack Obama’s climate agenda.

OMB also requested a 30 percent cut in grants to states and a 20 percent reduction in EPA’s workforce through buy-outs and layoffs. In total, President Donald Trump is calling for a roughly 25 percent cut to EPA’s budget – about $2 billion.

The cuts are laid out in a letter sent by William Becker, the executive director of the National Association of Clean Air Agencies (NACAA), to his group’s member state and local regulators…

CCW News – Secretary Zinke Repeals Obama’s Lead Ammunition Ban – Breitbart

.
Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke signed a Secretarial Order on Thursday repealing the lead ammunition ban issued the day before Barack Obama left office.

It is interesting to note that Thursday was Zinke’s first day as Interior Secretary and repealing the onerous ban one of his first actions.

On January 19, the National Shooting Sports Foundation’s Lawrence Keane described the lead ammunition ban as the Obama administration’s “parting shot” against the hunting community. The ban was contained in Director’s Order 219 – from National Fish and Wildlife Service Director Dan Ashe – and it required regional directors to work with state-level agencies to begin phasing out the use of lead ammunition on Federal land…
