Even New York Times Correction Is Incorrect – Garth Kant

President Donald Trump tweeted:

“The failing @nytimes writes false story after false story about me. They don’t even call to verify the facts of a story. A Fake News Joke!”

That was on Wednesday. The very next day, the New York Times printed a major correction of a major mistake. Except, the correction itself was incorrect.

The publication nicknamed “the paper of record” sought to correct a critical error that has been commonly accepted as gospel truth and repeated incessantly by both the major media and Democrats since January.

The error is the assertion that all 17 intelligence agencies came to the conclusion in an intelligence report issued on Jan. 6 that the Russians tried to interfere in the 2016 presidential election.

Tucked into the bottom of a story titled “Trump’s Deflections and Denials on Russia Frustrate Even His Allies,” published on June 25, the Times added…

Maine State Government Headed For Partial Shutdown As Governor LePage Rejects Latest Budget Deal – Reuters
.

.
Maine Governor Paul LePage said on Friday he would reject the latest budget deal by a bipartisan group of legislators, warning that most of the state government would shut down without more spending cuts.

The second-term Republican said repeatedly this week that he would be ready to close down non-essential government services as the July 4 holiday weekend starts if the lawmakers cannot agree on a $7.055 billion two-year budget that would require no new taxes.

The deal reached late on Thursday called for $7.1 billion in spending.

“I’m out of ink,” LePage told reporters in the state capital of Augusta. “There will not be a signature on a budget that increases taxes.”…

Updated Ramadan Rage 2017 Final Death Count: 1,639 In About 30 Countries – Breitbart

The final fatality tally for jihadi attacks during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan increased to 1,639, primarily fueled by victims who succumbed to their injuries, reveals an updated Breitbart News count of terror incidents during the period.

With a total of 3,343 casualties, including 1,704 injuries, Ramadan 2017 is one of the bloodiest holy months in recent history. The number of deaths this year marked a nearly four-fold increase from the estimated 421 people killed by Islamic extremists last year.

There were nearly 160 terror incidents in about 30 predominantly Muslim countries this year, including one jihadi attack in the United States. Soon after the holiest month for Muslims ended last Saturday, Breitbart News reported that jihadist organizations had killed 1,627 people during Ramadan.

However, after taking into account people who succumbed to their injuries throughout the month and government entities changing the casualty count after Breitbart News initially documented the attacks, this news outlet has determined the final updated tally to be 3,343 casualties (1,639 killed, 1,704 injured)…

Trump Signs Executive Order Reviving National Space Council – New York Post
.

.
President Trump will form a National Space Council to enhance America’s leadership in space exploration.

The president signed an executive order Friday to revive the council, which was last active
in 1993.

“Today’s announcement sends a clear signal to the world that we are restoring America’s proud legacy of leadership in space,” he said.

“Our journey into space will not make us stronger and more prosperous but will unite us behind grand ambitions and bring us all closer together. Wouldn’t that be nice? Can you believe space is going to do that? I thought politics was going to do that,” he added, as the room erupted in laughter…

Man With History Of Sex With Vegetables Sentenced To Life In Prison – Law Newz

A Texas man was sentenced to life in prison on Wednesday for drug possession and tampering with evidence. During the trial, however, the bizarre details of his arrest, and personal life in general, came to light.

When a Texas state trooper found Charles Ransier in his truck alongside a highway, prosecutors said, the man had melted wax on his chest, and the vehicle was full of male enhancement pills including Viagra and Extenze, lubricant, children’s clothing, balloons, dolls, candy, baby oil, rope, duct tape, and a cooler containing frozen cucumbers. Oh, and a bunch of syringes with methamphetemine in them.

When the officer approached, Ransier tried to break the tip off a syringe he was holding. A struggle then ensued between him and the cop when Ransier disobeyed a command to stop damaging the evidence, according to prosecutors. The officer eventually handcuffs Ransier and picked up the broken syringe, which tested positive for meth…

Ted Cruz’s Obamacare Amendment Gains Momentum After Trump Tweet – Washington Examiner
.

.
Ted Cruz’s amendment to the Senate health bill to bypass Obamacare’s insurance regulations is gaining momentum as the bill comes under withering attack from conservatives and the president.

Conservatives ratcheted up their criticism of the Senate bill Friday after President Trump tweeted that if the Senate can’t pass the bill, it should repeal the entire law and replace it at a later date. But some groups and House lawmakers instead touted an amendment from Cruz that would let insurers sell plans that don’t comply with Obamacare’s mandates as long as they sell some that do.

The White House later clarified that it is not moving to a “plan B” on healthcare, but the tweet gave conservatives a reason to vent that the Senate bill doesn’t do enough in repealing Obamacare…

Associated Press Finally Corrects Huge Falsehood In Four Trump-Russia Reports – Daily Caller

The Associated Press “clarified” a false claim it’s been running in stories about President Trump and Russia on Friday, conceding in a release it’s not the case that 17 intelligence agencies “agreed” on the hacking narrative.

The correction to four reports on Trump and Russia comes the same day The New York Times issued a similar correction to a Maggie Haberman report. Both TheNYT and the AP now say the claim they’ve been floating for months is incorrect.

“The Associated Press reported that all 17 U.S. intelligence agencies have agreed that Russia tried to influence the 2016 election to benefit Donald Trump,” the AP stated, citing four specific reports from as early as April that made the assertion. “That assessment was based on information collected by three agencies – the FBI, CIA and National Security Agency – and published by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, which represents all U.S. intelligence agencies.”…

Disgraceful: 24 States Attempting To Hide The Truth About Voter Fraud – Truthfeed
.

.
At least 24 states are attempting to hide the TRUTH about voter fraud and REFUSING to comply with a common sense request from the Trump White House to provide information on voter registration. Why would they be doing this?

1. They don’t want to expose widespread voter fraud
2. They don’t want to expose their lack of proper voter legitimacy safeguards in place and risk federal funding

This is an absolute DISGRACE and every state that refuses to comply should be punished.

21 of the 24 states are Arizona, California, Connecticut, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Mississippi, New Mexico, Nevada, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia and Wisconsin…

Conservative Media Outlets Gain Seats In White House Briefing Room – The Hill

Conservative media outlets have more official seats in a new White House briefing room seating chart released Friday.

The updated seating chart sees conservative news organizations Newsmax and One America News (OAN), as well as British newspaper The Daily Mail, with designated seats. Newsmax and the Mail have their own spots, while OAN shares a seat.

None of the organizations had a spot under the previous seating chart, adopted in 2015.

The New York Post now shares a seat with the Christian Science Monitor, both organizations that previously held their own seats. The new chart also gives a seat to Westwood One radio, which it did not previously have.

In an email to the White House press corps announcing the seating changes, White House Correspondents’ Association (WHCA) president Jeff Mason said the WHCA board considered multiple factors in making changes to the previous seating chart…

New Project Veritas Video: CNN Producer Calls Voters “Stupid”, Trump “Crazy” – The Hill
.

.
Conservative provocateur and Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe released a fourth secretly-recorded video early Friday morning that shows a CNN associate producer calling American voters “stupid as shit” and saying Trump senior adviser Kellyanne Conway looks like “she got hit with a shovel.”

In a video released overnight by O’Keefe on Twitter, a Project Veritas reporter asked CNN associate producer Jimmy Carr, who doesn’t appear to know he’s being recorded, if it “would be fair to question the intellect of the American voter.”

“Oh no. They’re stupid as shit,” replied the CNN “New Day” associate producer.

Carr also spoke about President Trump, saying everyone inside network recognizes “he’s just fucking crazy.”…

Mark Levin Slams “Bad Lounge Act” Morning Joe, Compares Scarborough To Banjo Player From Deliverance – Mediaite

On Thursday night, Mark Levin shared his thoughts about President Trump‘s tweets attacking MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski.

“Don’t I remember Joe Scarborough in the audience when President Trump was giving his State of the Union address jumping up like a clapping seal over and over and over again?” Levin began. “The guy’s been to Mar-a-Lago, he’s been to the White House, he’s been to Trump’s State of the Union, and now all of a sudden he’s part of a bad lounge act over there at the conga line of left-wing freaks they call MSNBC.”

Levin told Sean Hannity that liberals weren’t bothered by Bill Clinton, who he mentioned “was accused of rape and molesting and sexually attacking women in the Oval Office” nor Ted Kennedy, who he referred to as “the lion of the Senate” nor John F. Kennedy, but they “draw a line” with Trump’s tweet.

The conservative talk show host said the only reason why he objects to Trump’s tweet because he “jacked up the ratings for that nonsensical show.”…

Nancy Pelosi Struggles To Remember Russia Accusations 6 Minutes After Making Them – American Mirror
.

.
Democrats’ albatross continued to hang heavy on their messaging campaign Thursday.

Nancy Pelosi, who recently said she’s “worth the trouble” amid criticisms over her performance as leader, continued her bizarre behavior during her weekly press conference as she was confused about what time of day it was, struggled to recall her latest accusations against Russia just six minutes later, and again awkwardly stopped speaking mid-sentence and stared at reporters before resuming.

As Pelosi approached the podium on Thursday, she muttered to herself on the hot mic, “It’s afternoon. It is afternoon. Good afternoon everyone.”

She then immediately got confused about what time of day it was…

House Passes Kate’s Law As Part Of Crackdown On Illegal Aliens – Fox News

House Republicans took action Thursday to crack down on illegal immigrants and the cities that shelter them.

One bill passed by the House would deny federal grants to sanctuary cities and another, Kate’s Law, would increase the penalties for deported aliens who try to return to the United States.

Kate’s Law, which would increase the penalties for deported aliens who try to return to the United States and caught, passed with a vote of 257 to 157, with one Republican voting no and 24 Democrats voting yes.

Kate’s Law is named for Kate Steinle, a San Francisco woman killed by an illegal immigrant who was in the U.S. despite multiple deportations. The two-year anniversary of her death is on Saturday.

President Trump called the bill’s passage “good news” in a tweet, adding “House just passed #KatesLaw. Hopefully Senate will follow.”

“He should not have been here, and she should not have died,” House Speaker Paul Ryan said Thursday…

Bernie Sanders’ Wife Tried Evicting Disabled Group Home Residents After Closing Shady College Deal Under FBI Probe – Judicial Watch
.

.
Amid a deepening federal investigation of Jane Sanders, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders’ wife, Judicial Watch has obtained records that paint a rather disturbing personal portrait of a heartless spouse – and longtime political advisor – of the Democratic Socialist candidate for president of the United States.

During the Obama administration, the FBI began investigating Jane for falsifying documents to obtain a $10 million loan to expand a now-defunct liberal arts college in a town where her husband once served as mayor while she was the school’s president.

The school, Burlington College, was in a small city with the same name in northwestern Vermont. It’s a quaint town of about 42,000 that sits on the eastern shoreline of Lake Champlain and prides itself on having “diverse, forward-thinking citizens” that are “steeped in arts and culture.”…

Rebellion At The New York Times: Newsroom To Walk Out After “Decrying Direction Of Paper” – Zero Hedge

Exhausted and demoralized after repeated buyouts and cutbacks in the newsroom, it seems the downtrodden journalists at the New York Times have finally had enough: In a pair of letters delivered to executive editor Dean Baquet and managing editor Joseph Kahn, the News Guild of New York said the New York Times editorial staff will leave the newsroom on Thursday as a demonstration of solidarity as management threatens jobs, according to MarketWatch.

Unlike the employee rebellion at the Wall Street Journal last year, when staffers confronted management about unequal pay practices and a paucity of female reporters and editors in leadership roles, the uproar at the times is centered around the repeated paycuts and cutbacks, which have left the newsroom feeling “demoralized.”

One letter was sent by the organization’s copy editors, who are facing dramatic staffing cuts, while the second letter was sent by reporters in an expression of solidarity with the editing staff…

Former Navy SEAL: 3,000 Elite Pedophiles Arrested; Media Silent – Your News Wire
.

.
Former Navy SEAL Craig Sawyer says that over 3,000 pedophiles belonging to an elite satanic pedophile ring have been arrested, amid a total blackout by the mainstream media.

Speaking with Infowars‘ Michael Zimmerman at the NRA’s annual convention, Sawyer says that intelligence insiders have confirmed that Trump’s vow to take down the elite pedophile ring in Washington DC is already being fulfilled.

According to Sawyer, his independent research has led him to discover that high-level government officials routinely torture and kill young children during satanic rituals. He says that despite a concerted effort by social media and the mainstream to suppress this information, they cannot escape the avalanche of truth being released by the independent media…

Missed It By That Much: The Obamacare Enrollee Lie – Rick Manning

Congressional Budget Office estimates are funny things. They are usually taken as gospel when they are put out, and ignored later when they are way off. The latest CBO effort related to the Senate Obamacare replace bill is no exception.

Like in all projections, the underlying assumptions bake the cake, and CBO makes a whopper of a mistake right up front when they estimate the number of people who are likely to have coverage under Obamacare after the GOP passes replacement language.

They start with a faulty 2016 baseline that predicts that 18 million people will be covered by Obamacare in 2017, when the people who are actually in charge of tracking Obamacare enrollments, the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services, report that the number will be between 10 and 11 million. On the generous side, CBO only missed the correct number of enrollees by 7 million people – oops.

The CMS report unequivocally states, “The average monthly effectuated enrollment in 2016 was 10 million individuals…

TwitterAudit Reports CNN Has 17 Million Fake Twitter Followers – Breitbart

According to TwitterAudit.com, nearly fifty percent of the followers on CNN’s verified Twitter account are fake.

Of CNN’s millions of followers on their verified Twitter account, over 17 million or 48 percent are fake, according to TwitterAudit.

According to TwitterAudit, the site determines the quality and score of real and fake followers by taking “a sample of up to 5000 (or more, if you subscribe to Pro) Twitter followers for a user and calculates a score for each follower. This score is based on number of tweets, date of the last tweet, and ratio of followers to friends.”

TwitterAudit states that these results are not definitive but do provide insight into whether or not a Twitter account gained followers through illegitimate means: “We use these scores to determine whether any given user is real or fake. Of course, this scoring method is not perfect but it is a good way to tell if someone with lots of followers is likely to have increased their follower count by inorganic, fraudulent, or dishonest means.”…

Paris To Build A ‘Wall’ Around Eiffel Tower As Terrorism Becomes Mundane In Europe – Daily Signal
.

.
Americans are still waiting for a border wall, but France is set to get a wall of their own by the end of the year.

Unlike the American iteration, this barrier won’t be erected on the French border. It’s set to surround the Eiffel Tower to shield it from terrorist attacks.

Last month, the Paris city council approved a $20 million bulletproof glass wall, just over 8 feet high, that will surround the iconic tower.

In a country proudly obsessed with art and beauty, this will be an obnoxious eyesore and a reminder that war and violence is just a breath away in the seemingly pacific city of romance.

Americans need an alternative to the mainstream media. But this can’t be done alone.

Paris, like so many other European cities, has become ground zero for relentless terrorist attacks by Islamists…

Berniegate: How Jane Sanders Offers A Window Into Liberal Scheming – William Marshall

“The road to hell is paved with good intentions,” goes the line so often used to describe hare-brained liberal schemes. That vintage phrase captures perfectly the quagmire in which Bernie and Jane Sanders find themselves rapidly sinking in the saga of Burlington College. But the tale provides so much more than affirming that age-old aphorism. It offers a microcosmic view into the mind and methodology of liberal policymakers everywhere.

In short, the scheme concocted by the former Democratic Socialist presidential candidate’s wife, Jane Sanders, when she was president of Burlington College serves up everything we’ve come to expect of modern Democrats: delusional visions of glorious benefits to be realized by the masses if we follow their screwball ideas; a shady real estate deal; phony and fraudulent claims used as the basis for getting other people to part with their money; alleged pressure from a powerful Democratic politician on a government-regulated institution to go along with their idea, or else; and, of course, no modern Democratic scandal is complete without a computer server potentially figuring in – in this case, a stolen one…
