Trump Warns Congress Not To Leave DC Without Repealing Obamacare – Daily Caller
.

.
President Donald Trump warned Congress early Monday morning to make sure they finalize a bill to repeal and replace Obamacare before the lawmakers leave for the August recess.

Trump tweeted that he could not imagine a scenario in which “Congress would dare to leave Washington without a beautiful new HealthCare bill fully approved and ready to go!”

Senate lawmakers return to Washington Monday after a week-long recess, with the goal of coming to a consensus on how to repeal Obamacare, but the time at home appears to have made the path forward anything but easier on Republicans.

Instead of returning to their Washington offices with a clearer sense of how to move forward, lawmakers find themselves dealing with at least one more Republican defection and a reignited, fierce debate between moderates and conservatives…

Woman Faces Probation For Groping Female Passenger During Las Vegas Flight – Law Newz

An Oregon woman faces probation for groping a female passenger on an Alaska Airlines flight. Heidi McKinney, 26, is scheduled for a sentencing hearing at U.S. District Court on Monday. She pleaded guilty in March to assault with the intent to commit a felony, although she was originally charged with third-degree sexual abuse by Multnomah County officials.

Court documents obtained by KOIN say it happened during a Las Vegas-to-Portland flight on May 10, 2016. The victim said McKinney sat down next to her, and put her hands on the victim’s chest, “allowing her hands to linger there uncomfortably.”

McKinney made unrequited small talk, asking personal questions, disrespecting how much wealth the victim seemed to have, and bragging about her own wealth. She also put her arm around the woman, and took photos of her. This was before lift-off. In the air, McKinney brought out alcohol she smuggled onto the flight. The victim turned her down, and the defendant threw it at the woman’s lap…

Study: Nearly All Recent Global Warming Is Fabricated – Breitbart
.

.
Much of recent global warming has been fabricated by climate scientists to make it look more frightening, a study has found.

The peer-reviewed study by two scientists and a veteran statistician looked at the global average temperature datasets (GAST) which are used by climate alarmists to argue that recent years have been “the hottest evah” and that the warming of the last 120 years has been dramatic and unprecedented.

What they found is that these readings are “totally inconsistent with published and credible U.S. and other temperature data.”

That is, the adjusted data used by alarmist organizations like NASA, NOAA, and the UK Met Office differs so markedly from the original raw data that it cannot be trusted…

Merkel Migrant Blowback Begins: Chechen Sharia Police Terrorize Berlin – Zero Hedge

A hundred Islamists are now openly enforcing Sharia law on the streets of Berlin, according to local police who are investigating a recent string of violent assaults in the German capital.

The self-appointed morality police involve Salafists from Chechnya, a predominantly Sunni Muslim region in Russia. The vigilantes are using threats of violence to discourage Chechen migrants from integrating into German society; they are also promoting the establishment of a parallel Islamic legal system in Germany. German authorities appear unable to stop them.

The Sharia patrol came to public light in May 2017, when Chechen Salafists released a video warning other Chechens in Germany that those who fail to comply with Islamic law and adat, a traditional Chechen code of behavior, will be killed. The video’s existence was reported by Meduza, a Russian-language independent media organization based in Latvia. The video, which circulated through WhatsApp, an online messaging service, showed a hooded man aiming a pistol at the camera. Speaking in Chechen, he declared…

Secretary Of State Tillerson Flies To Gulf For Talks On Qatar Crisis – Reuters
.

.
U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson flew to the Gulf on Monday for talks aimed at resolving a crisis over the cutoff of diplomatic and transport links with Qatar by Saudi Arabia and three regional allies.

In Doha, a Western diplomat said creation of a “terror finance monitoring mechanism” would feature in the talks, but declined to elaborate. Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, UAE and Egypt imposed sanctions last month, accusing Doha of aiding terrorism, something it denies.

The State Department said Tillerson, who forged extensive ties in the Gulf as CEO of ExxonMobil, would hold talks with leaders in Kuwait, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. He was flying from Istanbul where he attended an international petroleum conference…

Iraqi PM Declares Victory In Mosul As Army Drives ISIS Out Of City – Daily Telegraph

Dressed in the black cap and fatigues of the Iraqi counter-terrorism forces, a jubilant Prime Minister Haider Al-Abadi arrived in Mosul on Sunday to declare victory over the Islamic State in the city, even as fighting continued to rout the last jihadist diehards from a sliver from the Old City.

On day 266 of fighting to recapture the city, Mr Abadi shared a photo of himself shaking the hand of an Iraqi officer as he walked on the runway of a nearby airbase.

“The commander in chief of the armed forces Haider al-Abadi arrived in the liberated city of Mosul and congratulated the heroic fighters and Iraqi people for the great victory,” his office said in a statement.

Earlier, counter-terrorism forces were pictured planting the Iraqi flag on the western bank of the Tigris River after advancing through the Old City where Isil fighters have made their last stand. It marked the end of the fight that lasted nearly nine months – longer than the Battle for Stalingrad – and put an end to the terror group’s three year rule over Iraq’s second city…

Comey’s Private Memos On Trump Conversations Contained Classified Material – The Hill
.

.
More than half of the memos former FBI Director James Comey wrote as personal recollections of his conversations with President Trump about the Russia investigation have been determined to contain classified information, according to interviews with officials familiar with the documents.

This revelation raises the possibility that Comey broke his own agency’s rules and ignored the same security protocol that he publicly criticized Hillary Clinton for in the waning days of the 2016 presidential election.

Comey testified last month he considered the memos to be personal documents and that he shared at least one of them with a friend. He asked that friend, a lawyer at Columbia University, to leak information from one memo to the news media in hopes of increasing pressure to get a special prosecutor named in the Russia case after Comey was fired as FBI director…

California Upholds ‘Right’ For Pedophiles To Marry 10-Year-Old Kids – Your News Wire

Lawmakers in California have upheld the rights for pedophiles to legally marry children as young as 10 years old, in a sick and twisted ruling.

Girls as young as ten are among over 200,000 children who were allowed to legally wed adults in the last 15 years – according to shocking new data uncovered by a Bay Area legislator:

A Bay Area legislator was shocked when he learned from a young constituent that while Californians cannot legally consent to sex until they are 18, they can – with the permission of a parent and a judge’s order – get married at any age, even if their spouse is many years older.

“I thought, that can’t be true in California,” said state Sen. Jerry Hill, a Democrat from San Mateo. “We found that it is true in California and true in many states throughout the country.”

But Hill’s resulting proposal to bar juveniles from getting hitched has been watered down after it prompted strong objections from civil rights groups, including the American Civil Liberties Union…

Bizarre Washington Post Story Tries To Blame Right-Wing Radio For Scalise Shooting – Newsbusters
.

.
The blogosphere erupted in a collective roar at Washington Post reporter Peter Holley’s bizarre attempt to blame the shooting of Rep. Steve Scalise and other Republican softball players and security guards in Alexandria, Virginia on conservative talk radio. Holley’s cockeyed conspiracy theory was that the shooter, James Hodgkinson, may have listened to local senior-citizen radio host Bob Romanik back in Belleville, Illinois (just east of St. Louis).

The online headline is “In Alexandria shooter’s hometown, rage-filled radio host channels middle America’s inner frustration.” Fox News had a roundup of the mystified tweets:

What’s the point of this?” BuzzFeed political reporter Katherine Miller asked on Twitter. “The shooter hated Trump and there’s no indication in the story he listened to this pro-Trump host.”…

Left-Wing Columnist Suspended After Cops Release Video Proof That His Account Of ‘Scary’ Traffic Stop Was A Lie – BizPac Review

A Missouri sheriff called out a newspaper columnist for sensationalizing a routine traffic stop.

Boone County Sheriff Dwayne Carey fired back at Columbia Daily Tribune’s now suspended columnist Bill Clark after a June 30 opinion piece in which Clark declared he was lucky he didn’t “get shot” and now knew how “minority motorists” must feel when getting pulled over by police.

“I’m lucky I didn’t get shot,” Clark, an 84-year-old white man, wrote. “Sirens wailed and when I stopped, two officers were out of the sheriff’s vehicle. When I reached over to turn off the radio and then take my wallet out of my pocket to produce the driver’s license and insurance card, I realized my hands were not at the top of my steering wheel. Danger lurked and official arrogance was to follow.”

Clark claimed his life “seemed to be in danger” and that his “rear bumper full of liberal bumper stickers” and his aging car were probably a tip-off for police that he was an “aging hippie with a weed habit.”…

9th Circuit Court Also Says No To State Of Hawaii Challenge To Trump Travel Ban – Breitbart
.

.
One day after U.S. District Judge Derrick Watson denied the state of Hawaii’s motion to broaden the definition of “bona fide relationship” for refugees and visa applicants affected by Executive Order 13780, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals followed suit.

In its June 26 decision, the Supreme Court let stand the temporary travel and refugee ban contained in that executive order but added that the ban would not apply to refugees and visa applicants with a “bona fide relationship” to an American resident.

The Trump administration quickly defined “bona fide relationship” as parent, child, sibling, spouse or fiance. The state of Hawaii wants a broader definition that would include grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and possibly more distant relations…

Leftist Media Ignoring Virginia Governor’s Role In Green Car Scandal That Fleeced Taxpayers Out Of Millions – Judicial Watch

An electric car company that folded after taking millions of taxpayer dollars was founded by Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe, the chairman of Hillary Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign and former Democratic National Committee (DNC) chair, but the mainstream media is ignoring this pertinent fact.

The Mississippi-based company, GreenTech, shut down in January but is back in the spotlight because this week the state’s auditor demanded the firm repay $6.4 million in public funds. Only a small Richmond, Virginia newspaper prominently reported McAuliffe’s ties to the scandal, stating in the headline that “Mississippi auditor demands $6.4M repayment from McAuliffe’s former electric car company.”

Most mainstream news outlets ignored the story altogether and a few kept McAuliffe’s name out the minimal coverage. Washington D.C.’s mainstream newspaper went with a lengthy wire service story that matter-of-factly mentions McAuliffe in the very last sentence. “Among former insiders is Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe,” the end of the article states…

Texas Judge Throws Out Leftist Professors’ Lawsuit Against Campus Carry – Red Alert Politics
.

.
A lawsuit attempting to overturn campus carry laws in the state of Texas has been thrown out.

Three University of Texas (UT) professors brought a suit against the Texas Attorney General and members of the UT board of regents, claiming that the Texas legislature’s decision to pass a bill allowing campus carry violated their constitutional rights.

Dallas News is reporting that U.S. District Court Judge Lee Yeakel threw out the suit because it was based solely on conjecture and censorship.

“Plaintiffs ask the court to find standing based on their self-imposed censoring of classroom discussions caused by their fear of the possibility of illegal activity by persons not joined in this lawsuit,” Yeakel wrote…

14 Lessons For Stupid People – Patrice Lewis

As I write this, the German town of Hamburg is in chaos as 100,000 anti-capitalists (otherwise known as “stupid people”) pour in to participate in a “Welcome to Hell” protest against the G20 summit. Police have responded to the violence with water cannons and pepper spray while Hamburg residents are suffering vandalism and arson to their homes, businesses and cars by the peaceful demonstrators. Beer appears to be a popular fuel for the rioters.

As with most protests of this nature, it’s a little vague what these people find objectionable, but a few themes have emerged. Demonstrators want open borders, more wealth distribution and an end to capitalism. According to the U.K.’s Daily Mail, “Protesters say the G20 has failed to solve many of the issues threatening world peace, including climate change, worsening inequality and violent conflicts” – thus accomplishing at the rally the very things they claim they’re against. (That’s why they’re known as “stupid people.”)

The arson, rioting and vandalism initiated by the protesters, doubtless to illustrate how peaceful and inclusive they are, as well as their violent opposition to violent conflicts, merely echoes similar protests that have taken place in many Western nations, especially America…

The Democrats’ Soviet Insane Asylum For Trump – Jamie Glazov
.

.
The former Soviet Union possessed many imaginative mechanisms to deal with the problem of enemies of the people who obstructed the path to socialist utopia – now known as “social justice.” One of those mechanisms was the practice of confining individuals who were thinking the wrong thoughts to insane asylums. Indeed, if you caused any trouble for the commissars, a good inoculation of neuroleptics (powerful drugs used to “quiet” the symptoms of schizophrenia), forcibly administered through a tube in the nose, could do wonders in bringing your politically incorrect behavior to a halt.

Dissidents such as Natalya Gorbanevskaya, Pyotr Grigorenko, Vladimir Bukovsky, Alexander Esenin-Volpin and Joseph Brodsky were all among the brave freedom-fighters who bore the brunt of the Soviet practice of institutionalizing dissidents in mental hospitals and force-feeding them mind-shattering drugs…

Trump Labels North Korea A “Problem And Menace” At G20 Summit – Associated Press

President Donald Trump assailed North Korea as a “problem and menace” Saturday as he met with Asian allies on the sidelines of an international summit to build consensus on next steps after the North’s recent test-launch of an intercontinental ballistic missile.

“Something has to be done about it,” Trump said as he met with Chinese President Xi Jinping. In a separate meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, Trump said the two were tackling “the problem and menace of North Korea.”

Abe, speaking through a translator, noted that the security situation in the Asia Pacific region has become “increasingly severe” due to North Korea’s push to develop its ballistic missile and nuclear program. Abe said he wanted to “demonstrate the robust partnership as well as the bonds” between Japan and the U.S. on the issue.

North Korea’s successful test launch of an ICBM was a major milestone in its long-term effort to build a missile that could carry a nuclear warhead to attack the United States…

U.S. And Russia Announce Ceasefire For Syria After Trump-Putin Meeting – Breitbart
.

.
On Friday, as President Donald Trump met with Russian President Vladimir Putin, the U.S. State Department confirmed the two sides had reached a ceasefire agreement in Syria. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson called it, “the first indication of the U.S. and Russia being able to work together in Syria.”

“We spent a very, very lengthy period on Syria. With a great amount of detail on the agreement, we concluded today but also where we go,” Tillerson said of the meeting between Trump and Putin.

CBS News and the Associated Press report that Jordan and Israel, which border on southern Syria, are also part of the plan. Jordanian Minister of Media Affairs Mohammed Momani announced on Friday that the ceasefire would go into effect at noon local time on Sunday, July 9…

Leftist Oregon Governor To Sign Bill Providing “Free” Abortions For All – Washington Times

Oregon Gov. Kate Brown said Thursday that she plans to sign a sweeping, unprecedented bill requiring insurers to provide free abortions for their customers, including illegal immigrants.

“The ability to control our bodies and make informed decisions about health are critical to providing all Oregonians the opportunity to achieve our full potential and live productive, thriving lives,” the Democratic chief executive said in an email. “Attempts to deny access to contraceptives and family planning are an attack on all Oregonians, particularly women of color, low-income and young women.”

The $10.2 million bill, which cleared the state House and Senate with no Republican votes, also comes as a badly needed boost for Planned Parenthood’s Oregon affiliate, which helped write the measure and pushed for its passage as it struggles to keep its doors open.

Democrats said the bill would ensure equal access to abortion, but several Republicans said they didn’t understand why the legislation was necessary, given that Oregon already has the least-restrictive abortion laws in the nation…

Judge Brown’s Retirement Will Let Trump Appoint Conservative To Powerful DC Circuit Court – Wall Street Journal
.

.
President Donald Trump will soon have the ability to start remaking Washington’s second-most powerful court, with the expected retirement of Judge Janice Rogers Brown from the U. S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.

Judge Brown, a 2005 appointee of President George W. Bush, has notified officials that she is stepping down, according to a person familiar with the matter. Judge Brown, 68 years old, didn’t immediately return a call seeking comment.

It is common for federal judges to time their retirements when a president of the party who appointed them is in office. That increases the odds of a like-minded successor.

Moreover, retired federal judges frequently assume “senior status,” which allows them to maintain their salaries and continue hearing cases, with some limitations…

‘Black Lives Matter’ Leaders Sued Over Baton Rouge Police Shooting – Reuters

A police officer wounded in a shooting rampage in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, last year that left three officers dead sued Black Lives Matter movement leaders on Friday, accusing them of inciting violence that spurred the attack.

The lawsuit filed in a U.S. district court in Louisiana named DeRay McKesson and four other Black Lives Matter leaders as defendants and sought at least $75,000 in damages.

It came on the one-year anniversary of one of the deadliest days in modern U.S. history for law enforcement. On July 7, 2016, a black man angered by what he saw as deadly racial bias in U.S. policing launched a downtown Dallas sniper attack, killing five officers deployed at a protest decrying police shootings of black men.

McKesson was not immediately available for comment and Black Lives Matter leaders have denied accusations that their movement promotes violence against police.

About 10 days after the Dallas shooting, a decorated ex-U.S. Marine sergeant opened fire on police in Baton Rouge, killing three officers…

Trump Administration Has Fired More Than 500 VA Employees Since January – Washington Examiner

Department of Veterans Affairs officials have fired more than 500 misbehaving employees since January, according to data posted online Friday.

VA Secretary David Shulkin touted his agency’s decision to publish its efforts to hold VA employees accountable, unveiling new requirements for updating the public on personnel actions.

“Veterans and taxpayers have a right to know what we’re doing to hold our employees accountable and make our personnel actions transparent,” Shulkin said in a statement. “Posting this information online for all to see, and updating it weekly, will do just that.”

The VA has removed 526 employees since Jan. 20, according to the accountability report released on Friday…
