Florida Drug Dealer Arrested After Calling 911 To Report Stolen Cocaine – Washington Times
.

.
Florida police officers made a quick arrest last weekend when 35-year-old David Blackmon called 911 to report his stash of cocaine missing.

Charges of resisting arrest without violence and possession of cocaine were levied July 16 against Mr. Blackmon after the Fort Walton man reported the theft of $50 and his drugs, the Miami Herald reported Wednesday. Okaloosa Sheriff’s officials shared the story on Facebook.

“He told a deputy who responded that he was a drug dealer and that someone had broken into his vehicle while it was parked, taking about $50 and a quarter ounce of cocaine,” the newspaper reported.

Authorities said the responding officer “spotted cocaine” within the vehicle and “a crack rock on the center console,” although no cash was found…

Detroit: Immigrant Steals $132 Million From Medicare, Owns $7 Million Mansion – 100PercentFedUp

A health care executive cheated Medicare out of $132 million and blew the money on a $7 million Franklin mansion and courtside NBA tickets, and stuffed secret storage units with cash, prosecutors allege.

Federal court records and prosecutors provided new details about the inner workings and riches of a health-care fraud conspiracy that ranks among the largest in Detroit history, orchestrated by 37-year-old businessman Mashiyat Rashid.

Prosecutors say the conspiracy involved recruiting homeless people as patients, sending phony bills to Medicare, subjecting drug addicts to unnecessary back injections and prescribing powerful pain medication that ended up being sold on the street.

The conspiracy generated so much money that Rashid withdrew $500,000 from a bank this month and stuffed the cash in a duffel bag, the government said. A surveillance team of federal agents watched him enter and leave the bank…

Texas Allows Open Carry Of Knives And Swords – Washington Standard
.

.
In a move that gets closer to actually recognizing the right of the people to keep and bear arms of all kinds, the state of Texas has advanced a bill into law that will recognize the right of citizens to carry knives or swords with blades that are longer than 5 1/2 inches in public.

After September 1, 2017, if you are carrying anything from a small dagger to a long sword in public, you will not be violating any laws, as it should be.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott signed House Bill 1935 into law, which removes the restrictions regarding knife blades being carried in public by adults.

“What this law does is it gets rid of all that grey area and simplifies the law,” said AJ Postell, co-founder of Lone Star Gun Rights. “The way the law currently is is that any knife with a blade length over 5 ½ inches is prohibited…

Feds Issued $171 Million In Improper Payments To People With More Than One Social Security Number – Washington Free Beacon

The Social Security Administration issued nearly $200 million in improper payments by paying people twice for their benefits.

The inspector general for the agency found that individuals with more than one Social Security Number received $171 million, according to a new audit. In many cases, the payments were issued to SSNs held by deceased individuals.

“We identified more than 5,000 instances where, contrary to Agency policy, SSA appeared to simultaneously issue monthly [Old-Age, Survivors and Disability Insurance] OASDI benefits and/or SSI payments to individuals under both of their cross-referred SSNs,” the inspector general said.

“We also identified over 13,000 instances where SSA continued paying beneficiaries after it recorded death information on their cross-referred SSNs,” the inspector general said.

Approximately 4.9 million people have more than one SSN. Individuals who are victims of identity fraud can receive a new SSN, though they are not entitled to receive benefits under both numbers…

Leftist Douchebag Who Managed To Get Elected To Congress Calls For Statue Of Liberty On Southern Border – American Mirror
.

.
As Republicans make moves to protect the southern border from illegal immigration, a member of Congress has a different idea: build another Statue of Liberty, instead.

During a U.S. House Homeland Security hearing on Tuesday, New York Democratic Rep. José Serrano said instead of building a wall, America should send a different signal: come as you are.

“This country should never build a wall to keep people out,” Serrano said.

Serrano said America should “deal with the immigration issue,” but a wall shouldn’t be included.

“On the contrary, build another Statute of Liberty on the southern border. That’s our message to the world, that statute, not the wall,” he said…

RNC Raises $13.4 Million In Record-Setting June Haul – The Hill

The Republican National Committee (RNC) raised a record $13.4 million in June, bringing its total 2017 fundraising to $75.3 million.

In a release provided first to The Hill, the RNC announced another strong monthly haul and has $44.7 million in the bank. It’s the most the RNC has raised in June of a nonpresidential year.

RNC Chairwoman Ronna Romney McDaniel credited the record fundraising to the committee’s “loyal network of grassroots donors” due to their support for President Trump and the GOP’s agenda.

“Because of the generous contributions, the RNC will continue to promote conservative values while bolstering our efforts to support, defend, and elect more Republicans,” McDaniel said in a statement.

“Month after month, the RNC continues to break fundraising records, another testament to the overwhelming support this Republican administration continues to receive from Alaska to Alabama,” RNC Finance Chairman Steve Wynn added…

Senator John McCain Diagnosed With Malignant Brain Tumor – Tuscon
.

.
U.S. Sen. John McCain revealed Wednesday evening that he has a brain tumor.

The announcement follows a procedure to remove a blood clot from above his left eye at the Mayo Clinic Hospital in Phoenix last Friday, where a pathology report revealed the glioblastoma, a malignant brain tumor.

Treatment options may include a combination of chemotherapy and radiation.

A statement from McCain’s doctors say he is recovering from his surgery, but it is unclear when the 80-year-old Republican would return to the Senate.

“Further consultations with Senator McCain’s Mayo Clinic care team will indicate when he will return to the United States Senate,” the statement read…

President Trump Reverses Obama’s Anti-Christian Refugee Policy – Front Page

After declaring that Christians have “been horribly treated” by the refugee program under former President Barack Obama, President Donald Trump has reversed the Obama administration’s disgraceful discrimination against Christian refugees.

According to a Pew Research Center analysis of U.S. State Department refugee data, during the period from January 21, 2017 – President Trump’s first full day in office – through June 30, “9,598 Christian refugees arrived in the U.S., compared with 7,250 Muslim refugees. Christians made up 50% of all refugee arrivals in this period, compared with 38% who are Muslim.”

From April through June 2017, Iraq was “the only Muslim-majority nation among the top six origin countries.” The number of Syrian refugees admitted to the U.S. from January 21, 2017 through June 30, 2017 was 1779. Comparing the number of refugee admissions from Syria for the entire month of January with the entire month of February 2017, the number dropped by nearly half. By June 2017, the number of refugees admitted from Syria was about 26 percent of the already low number of 673 admitted in February…

Trump: Sessions Should Have Told Me About Recusal, ‘I Would Have Picked Somebody Else’ – Washington Times
.

.
President Trump criticized Attorney General Jeff Sessions in an interview Wednesday for recusing himself from overseeing the Russia investigation, calling the move “very unfair to the president” and expressing regret that he nominated Mr. Sessions.

In an interview with The New York Times, the president said Mr. Sessions’ decision in March led to the appointment of special counsel Robert Mueller, a development that Mr. Trump said shouldn’t have happened.

“Sessions should have never recused himself, and if he was going to recuse himself, he should have told me before he took the job and I would have picked somebody else,” Mr. Trump said…

Congress Grants Permanent U.S. Residency To Charlie Gard – Daily Caller

Charlie Gard has reportedly been granted permanent resident status in the U.S. thanks to an amendment passed by Congress.

Congress passed an amendment granting “permanent resident status to Charlie Gard and family so Charlie can get the medical treatment he needs,” Nebraska Republican Rep. Jeff Fortenberry of Nebraska tweeted Tuesday.

Permanent U.S. residency for Gard would mean his parents, Connie Yates and Chris Gard, would not need permission from U.K. doctors to fly him to America for treatment.

Born a little less than a year ago, Gard suffers from a faulty gene that has left him unable to move or breath on his own.

The parents have been fighting a legal battle to keep their child alive since the government appointed a lawyer to determine what is in the child’s best interests rather than allowing the parents to decide…

“I Won’t Let Myself Be Fucked”: French Armed Forces Chief Resigns After Clashing With Limp-Wristed Macron – Zero Hedge
.

.
France’s armed forces chief resigned on Wednesday, culminating a dramatic dispute with president Emmanuel Macron over defense budget cuts, in what Reuters called “an early test of the newly elected president’s mettle and the tough presidential style he is cultivating.” Last week, General Pierre de Villiers publicly lashed out about Macron’s proposed €850 million cuts to the military’s budget, when in an outburst before a parliament committee he said he “won’t let myself be fucked like that,” adding that “I may be stupid, but I know when I am being had.”

In a statement released on Wednesday, the 60-year-old De Villers said that “in the current circumstances I see myself as no longer able to guarantee the robust defense force I believe is necessary to guarantee the protection of France and the French people, today and tomorrow, and to sustain the aims of our country”…

ICE Adding Officers In ‘Uncooperative Jurisdictions’ To Arrest Criminal Aliens Released By Leftist Traitors – Breitbart

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) executives are reallocating resources to increase enforcement efforts in “uncooperative jurisdictions” where criminal aliens are released back onto the streets by local jail officials.

Acting ICE Director Thomas D. Homan said he is going to deploy more officers and agents to “sanctuary cities” to arrest illegal criminals, the Washington Examiner reported. In an interview with the Examiner, praised the focus on law enforcement from President Donald Trump saying, “What this president has done is taken the handcuffs off of law enforcement officers who are charged with enforcing immigration laws.”

He said the president’s focus resulted in a 70 percent drop of border apprehensions, leaving immigration officers to place more emphasis on interior enforcement against criminal aliens. He said his focus is now on finding criminal aliens locked up in jails, illegally working jobs, and those on the run from law enforcement…

More Migrant Riots Hit France – Joseph Klein
.

.
The European migration experiment is failing miserably. Self-declared “refugees” and migrants from Africa and the Middle East are importing their violence, chaos and regressive norms of behavior into formerly harmonious countries all over Western Europe. As Seth J. Frantzman wrote in the Jerusalem Post last December, “They hate the very society they have often chosen to migrate to. Their new society tolerated their intolerance and taught them that this new country provided such unfettered freedom that it should be destroyed.”

For example, while many French people were busy celebrating Bastille Day – a year after the tragic Islamist massacre in Nice – riots and violence reportedly broke out on the nights of July 13 and 14 in suburbs of Paris heavily populated by migrants…

Trump Sends Feds In To Raid New York’s Islamberg After 2 Decades, Uncovers America’s Worst Nightmare – Freedom Daily

There’s a mysterious hidden Muslim compound called Islamberg that’s nestled deep within the woods of the Catskill mountains in New York. The only way to access the 70-acre compound is through primitive dirt roads, where more than 100 Muslims live in seclusion away from the prying eyes of curious Americans.

For over two decades, infidels have been prohibited from entering, as anyone attempting to enter will be “greeted” by armed Muslims patrolling a guard shack at the compound’s entry gate. Without access to the compound, there’s been no way to confirm rumors about the location being used as a training ground for Muslim terrorists. But after an alarming incident involving one of the Islamberg residents, police were finally able to obtain a warrant and raid the place. And what they discovered that these Muslims have been quietly plotting for years is nothing short of chilling.

For over two decades, this cult-like group of Sharia Law-following Muslims have lived quietly under the guidance of Pakistani Sheikh Syed Mubarik Ali Shah Gilani, a radical Muslim with known ties to Jamaat al-Fuqra, a terror organization responsible for a long list of terrorist activities around the world, including murders of rival religious figures in the United States…

Moonbats Release Up To 40,000 Minks That Probably Won’t Survive In The Wild – Moonbattery
.

.
Moonbattery results from a perfect storm of sanctimony, malice, liberal ideology, and idiocy. One of its most extreme manifestations is the animal rights movement, which is likely responsible for this:

Sheriff Don Gudmonson says sometime between 10:30 p.m. Sunday and 5:30 a.m. Monday a person or group of people burglarized the Lang Farms LLC in Eden Lake, just northwest of Eden Valley. The Lang Farms raise mink for pelts.

Gudmonson says once the vandals were on the property they took apart sections of the exterior fence that surrounds the barns and released all the mink from their cages.

Authorities say around 30,000 – 40,000 mink were released, all of which are domesticated and will likely not survive in the wild…

Government Thieves Go Wild Stealing Your Stuff – WorldNetDaily

The U.S. Supreme Court has been asked to stop governments in Michigan from collecting overdue property taxes by confiscating the property, selling it and keeping the entire profit.

Lawyers for the plaintiffs, who want back the difference between their taxes owed and what the government got for their properties, warn that similar scenarios are arising in a handful of other states.

WND reported in March an appeals court decided 2-1 based on jurisdictional issues that it could not order the return of the $190,000 profit Van Buren County made when it confiscated a church’s camp property for nonpayment of taxes.

Two other plaintiffs, each of whom lost smaller parcels, are joining Wayside Church in being represented by Pacific Legal Foundation.

The third judge on the panel pulled no punches, however, in condemning the government.

“In some legal precincts that sort of behavior is called theft,” wrote Judge Raymond Kethledge in his dissent of the 2-1 6th Circuit Court of Appeals decision in favor of Van Buren County…

Trump Administration Unveils New Iran Sanctions – The Hill
.

.
The Trump administration on Tuesday unveiled a new slate of economic sanctions against Iran over its ballistic missile program and destabilizing actions in the region, the day after announcing that it will grudgingly recertify Tehran’s compliance with the nuclear agreement reached under former President Obama.

The U.S. Treasury Department designated 16 entities and individuals for supporting “illicit Iranian actors or transnational criminal activity,” according to a statement.

Some of those targeted had supported the Iranian military or Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) by developing drones, fast attack boats and other military equipment. Others stole U.S. and western software programs, which were sold to the Iranian government, according to the statement…

First Statewide Bicycle Tax In Nation Leaves Bike-Crazy Oregon Riders Deflated – Washington Times

In Oregon, a state known for its avid bicycling culture, the state Legislature’s approval of the first statewide bike tax in the nation has fallen flat with riders.

Democratic Gov. Kate Brown is expected to sign the sweeping $5.3 billion transportation package, which includes a $15 excise tax on the sale of bicycles costing more than $200 with a wheel diameter of at least 26 inches.

Even though the funding has been earmarked for improvements that will benefit cyclists, the tax has managed to irk both anti-tax Republicans and environmentally conscious bikers.

BikePortland publisher Jonathan Maus called it “an unprecedented step in the wrong direction.”

“We are taxing the healthiest, most inexpensive, most environmentally friendly, most efficient and most economically sustainable form of transportation ever devised by the human species,” Mr. Maus said…

DNC Vice Chairman Praises Russian Health Care System During Obamacare Rally – American Mirror
.

.
If Cuba’s health care system is so great, it’s not clear why Minnesota Congressman and DNC Vice Chairman Keith Ellison doesn’t go there for his own care.

While defending Obamacare and opposing changes Republicans want to make to the failing program, Ellison held up as positive examples the health care systems of Cuba, and perhaps more shockingly, that of the Democrats’ favorite boogeyman: Russia.

“Why is it that countries like Cuba or Canada or Russia or a lot of places in this world spend half what we spend per capita and they got better health outcomes than we do?” Ellison asked.

“And the reason is our system is not designed to keep people healthy. It’s not designed to keep them well,” he said…

House Unveils Balanced Budget That Increases GDP To 2.6% – Washington Free Beacon

The House Budget Committee unveiled its Building A Better America 2018 budget Tuesday, which is balanced and achieves a $9 billion surplus in 10 years and increases GDP growth to 2.6 percent.

“Our budget is one of sustainability, smaller government, stronger national security, and greater freedom for individuals,” the committee states. “The status quo is unsustainable spending, higher deficits and debt, higher taxes, bigger government, and more federal control over the lives of Americans.”

The budget not only balances within a decade, but aims to increase economic growth by implementing tax reform and reducing government regulations, as well as reforming several government programs to ensure taxpayer dollars are used efficiently and appropriately.

The committee notes that under the Obama administration, federal spending grew at a rate that increased the debt to unprecedented levels. They found that if spending continued along this path, in the next 10 years there would be $9.4 trillion more added to the debt…

Trump Kicks Off ‘Made In America’ Week With Guitars, Tractors, And Fire Engines – Washington Examiner
.

.
President Trump kicked off a week aimed at promoting American manufacturing by touring an exhibition of U.S.-produced goods at the White House and previewing his administration’s plans to rework trade deals in favor of American workers.

“When we purchase products made in the USA, the profits stay here, the revenue stays here and the jobs – probably most importantly of all – they stay right here in the USA,” Trump said during a speech at the White House on Monday.

“For decades, Washington has allowed other nations to wipe out millions of American jobs through unfair trade practices,” Trump said, vowing to renegotiate trade deals in the coming weeks.

“What we’re going to be doing over the next six months will be incredible,” the president said…
