Loretta Lynch Used Her Grandmother’s Name As Alias To Communicate With DOJ Officials – USA Politics Today
.

.
On Friday internet sleuth Kim Dotcom dropped a bomb on Twitter. Kim posted an email Friday showing Loretta Lynch using an alias to contact DOJ officials.

The Department of Justice released hundreds of emails to the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) this week in the investigation of former AG Lynch’s secret meeting with former President Bill Clinton.

First, the Comey FBI lied to us. Last July, we sent FOIA requests to both the Comey FBI and the Lynch DOJ asking for any documents related to the Clinton Lynch plane meeting. The FBI, under the then directorship of James Comey, replied that “No records responsive to your request were located.”…

Judicial Watch Warns California: 11 Counties Have More Voters Than Voting-Age Citizens – Breitbart

Judicial Watch, a conservative watchdog organization, has sent a letter to California Secretary of State Alex Padilla on behalf of the Election Integrity Project, noting that there are 11 counties in the state with more registered voters than voting-age citizens, and alleging that the state may be out of compliance with Section 8 of the National Voter Registration Act (NVRA).

The letter reads, in part:

NVRA Section 8 requires states to conduct reasonable list maintenance so as to maintain an accurate record of eligible voters for use in conducting federal elections.1 As you may know, Congress enacted Section 8 of the NVRA to protect the integrity of the electoral process. Allowing the names of ineligible voters to remain on the voting rolls harms the integrity of the electoral process and undermines voter confidence in the legitimacy of elections.

As the top election official in California, it is your responsibility under federal law to coordinate California’s statewide effort to conduct a program that reasonably ensures the lists of eligible voters are accurate…

Explosive Emails Show Corrupt De Blasio Donors Had Run Of City Hall – New York Post
.

.
Mayor de Blasio claims he barely knew them, but explosive e-mails released Friday show that two of his major campaign donors who were later accused of corruption were given the run of City Hall.

Jona Rechnitz, who pleaded guilty in March to making contributions to extract favorable treatment from government officials, had such clout that he wrote the mayor directly on April 28, 2014, asking to serve “on your committe for [sic] ‘combat police corruption.’ ”

Hizzoner forwarded the request to top aide Avi Fink, who sent it on to other officials, including City Hall’s director of appointments at the time.

It’s not clear what the mayor or Fink wrote in their e-mails, because their comments were redacted by City Hall lawyers…

House Panel OKs Protections For Persecuted Homeschoolers – WorldNetDaily

A House committee has approved a bill that would offer protection in the U.S. for homeschoolers who are persecuted in foreign countries.

The Home School Legal Defense Association this week praised the recent decision by the House Judicial Committee to advance H.R. 391, the Asylum Reform and Border Protection Act of 2017.

The bill would grant asylum to homeschooling families such as the Romeikes, who were under threat of being forcibly returned to Germany by the Obama administration.

A U.S. court granted the homeschooling family asylum, but Obama administration lawyers appealed the ruling, and it was overturned.

In Germany, authorities likely would pursue jail sentences for the parents for homeschooling their children.

Immigration Judge Lawrence O. Burman had found that the oppression the Romeikes faced is “repellent to everything we believe as Americans.” But since the revocation of the ruling, the family has lived under an indefinite order of supervision, which prevents them from obtaining permanent residency…

Obamacare Just Got A One-Two Punch Of Bad News – Business Insider

.

.
Two high-profile insurers said they would make changes to their Obamacare-related business next year, adding to the uncertainty surrounding the future of the law formally known as the Affordable Care Act.

Molina Healthcare said it would exit the Obamacare individual insurance exchanges in Utah and Wisconsin due to lagging financial performance.

“Looking back on our involvement in Wisconsin and Utah, the populations in those states were probably not significant enough to move the needle for the company in a positive way,” CEO Joseph White said during the company earnings call Wednesday. “The cost experience certainly moved it in a negative way. But, frankly, I think the markets there were just so small as to just not offer a lot of upside.”…

Massachusetts Registry Of Motor Vehicles Employees Accused Of Making Fake IDs For Illegal Aliens, Fraudulently Registering Them To Vote In Boston – MassLive

Four state Registry of Motor Vehicle clerks along with two other people were arrested Wednesday after authorities say they were making false identifications through the registry and selling them to people living in the country illegally, some of whom had been deported in the past.

Some of those phony licenses and identifications were used to fraudulently register to vote in Boston, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Evelyn Medina, 56, of Boston; Annette Gracia, 37, of Boston; Kimberly Jordan, 33, of Randolph; David Brimage, 46, of Boston; Bivian Yohanny Brea, 41, of Boston; and a 32-year-old man identified as John Doe were all charged in federal court with aggravated identity theft.

Officials are still trying to determine John Doe’s true identity and list multiple aliases for him.

Medina, Gracia, Jordan, and Brimage were employed as clerks at the Haymarket Registry of Motor Vehicles. Authorities said Brea and Flako worked with the RMV clerks to operate the scheme…

FOIA Dump Reveals Collusion Between Lynch, FBI And Media To Bury Clinton Meeting – Zero Hedge
.

.
Back on June 29, 2016, Obama’s Attorney General, Loretta Lynch, tried to convince us that the following ‘impromptu’ meeting between herself and Bill Clinton at the Phoenix airport, a private meeting which lasted 30 minutes on Lynch’s private plane, was mostly a “social meeting” in which Bill talked about his grandchildren and golf game. It was not, under any circumstances, related to the statement that former FBI Director James Comey made just 6 days later clearing Hillary Clinton of any alleged crimes related to his agency’s investigation.

But, according to a new DOJ FOIA dump just released by the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ), it looks increasingly as if nothing reported about this “social meeting” between Lynch and Clinton was grounded in fact… shocking, we know…

Republican Donor From Virginia Beach Sues GOP, Accusing Party Of Fraud Over Failed Obamacare Repeal – Virginian-Pilot

A retired attorney in Virginia Beach is so incensed that Republicans couldn’t repeal the Affordable Care Act he’s suing to get political donations back, accusing the GOP of fraud and racketeering.

Bob Heghmann, 70, filed a lawsuit Thursday in U.S. District Court saying the national and Virginia Republican parties and some GOP leaders raised millions of dollars in campaign funds while knowing they weren’t going to be able to overturn the ACA, also known as Obamacare.

The GOP “has been engaged in a pattern of Racketeering which involves massive fraud perpetrated on Republican voters and contributors as well as some Independents and Democrats,” the suit said. Racketeering, perhaps better known for use in prosecuting organized crime, involves a pattern of illegal behavior by a specific group.

The lawsuit lists as defendants the Republican National Committee and Virginia’s two national GOP committee members, Morton Blackwell and Cynthia Dunbar, as well as the Republican Party of Virginia and state party Chairman John Whitbeck…

AG Sessions Goes On Attack Against Deep State Leakers, Journalists – Reuters
.

.
U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions, taking up an issue that has infuriated Republican President Donald Trump, went on the attack against leaks on Friday, warning of a possible crackdown both on reporters and their sources inside the federal government.

In a move derided by critics as an attack on the free press, Sessions said the administration was reviewing policies on forcing journalists to reveal their sources.

It is, however, difficult to prosecute members of the news media in the United States for publishing leaked information.

Sessions also told the employees of government agencies to stop leaking and called the issue a matter of national security…

U.S. Created 209,000 Jobs In July, Crushing Expectations – Breitbart

Job creation in July kept up its sizzling June pace, with nonfarm payrolls growing by 209,000 while the unemployment rate slid down to 4.3%. Economists had been expecting payroll growth of 180,000 and a slight decline in unemployment. Last month, the economy added 231,000 jobs.

Employment rose in restaurants and bars, white collar jobs, and health care. Employment in mining and manufacturing, two major areas of focus for the Trump administration, was unchanged.

The labor force participation rate, at 62.9 percent, was little changed. This rate has remained steady for the past year. June was revised up to 231,000 from 222,000, which means that the jobs market was even stronger than expected.

President Donald Trump tweeted out his response to the numbers:

“Excellent Jobs Numbers just released – and I have only just begun. Many job stifling regulations continue to fall. Movement back to USA!”…

Trump, McMaster Meet Amid Purge Of National Security Staffers, Susan Rice Revelation – Washington Times
.

.
National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster met with President Trump Thursday amid his purge of Trump loyalists from the White House national security council, a heated debate about sending more U.S. troops to Afghanistan and a report that he allowed former Obama administration aide Susan E. Rice to keep her security clearance.

Gen. McMaster sent a letter to Ms. Rice in April giving her unfettered and continuing access to classified information and waiving the “need-to-know” requirement on anything she viewed or received during her tenure as President Obama’s national security adviser. A copy of the letter was obtained by Circa; Mr. Trump reportedly was not aware of Gen. McMaster’s action.

The topic of Ms. Rice has been a particularly sore spot for Mr. Trump, who was angered to learn that she unmasked the identities of Trump transition aides in conversations with Russian officials. The president has called it “a massive story.”…

Venezuela’s Socialist Fast-Track To The Apocalypse – New York Post

Venezuela is on a fast track to the apocalypse – with the regime’s efforts to lock in its control only making it worse.

Thanks to the socialist misrule of the late Hugo Chavez, the country was already the murder and kidnapping capital of the world when Nicolلs Maduro took over as president. Now it’s No. 1 in inflation, too. Food is scarce; medicine scarcer still. Regime thugs answer protests with deadly force.

Maduro has used corrupt courts to sideline the opposition-run parliament, and is in the process of setting up a phony “constituent assembly” of loyalists to replace it.

In the wee hours Tuesday, the government “arrested” two prominent regime critics who’d questioned the vote in Sunday’s “election” to that assembly. Wednesday, the firm that provided the voting machines announced that it already has evidence of at least 1 million falsified votes.

Washington has put new sanctions on Maduro and other top officials, and President Trump warns he’ll hold Maduro personally responsible for those imprisoned opposition leaders…

Dubai’s 1,100ft Torch Tower full of expats burst into flames this morning in a chilling echo of the Grenfell Tower disaster – but, unlike London, its wealthy residents made it out alive.

Fire ‘spread rapidly’ through one of the world’s tallest residential towers sparking panic among terrified residents after a day in which temperatures in the city climbed to 45C (113F).

Alarming footage showed flames climbing up the outside of the 86-storey tower, a building popular with expats in the United Arab Emirates tourism hotspot.

Burning debris could be seen crashing down to the ground below as frightened residents fled and firefighters desperately tackled the blaze…

Douchebag Professor Shows Up To Class In Helmet And Body Armor On First Day Texas Campus Carry Law Goes Into Effect – Guns

To inaugurate the implementation of legal concealed carry at public junior colleges in Texas, one instructor came to work complete with helmet and body armor.

Professor Charles K. Smith, who wore the gear to his Physical Geography class at San Antonio College, drew comments on social media from both sides of the argument on campus this week.

“It definitely makes me feel uneasy that there are more firearms on campus than there really should be,” Smith told MySA.com. “(Dressing this way) was just a statement on how I felt.”

Signed by Gov. Greg Abbott two years ago, SB 11 gave public four-year colleges and universities in Texas a year to establish local policies to allow guns on campus. Now, community colleges are following suit at the two-year mark with the law taking effect Aug. 1.

“I realize students were carrying guns on campus illegally, but now it’s legal to do so,” Smith said. “It increases the chances of something happening.”

San Antonio College is a part of the Alamo Community College District and has an enrollment of about 25,000…

This Might Be The End Of The Common Cold As We Know It – New York Post
.

.
A molecule found in our immune systems is being touted as a cure for the common cold. Antimicrobial peptides – which occur naturally in humans and animals – kill the rhinovirus, the main cause of colds, researchers have found.

A team from Edinburgh Napier University used peptides created in a lab to treat infected lung tissue. The five-year study into peptides from different mammals found they all have properties that can combat rhinovirus, the main virus responsible for the common cold infection in humans.

Researcher Dr. Peter Barlow said: “It represents a major step towards finding a treatment.”

“There is no cure and no vaccine so the development of effective therapies for human rhinovirus, the main causal agent of the common cold, and one of the most common causes of viral respiratory tract infections, is an urgent requirement.”…

LA Made $1.3 Billion In Illegal Alien Welfare Payouts In Just 2 Years – Fox News

Illegal immigrant families received nearly $1.3 billion in Los Angeles County welfare money during 2015 and 2016, nearly one-quarter of the amount spent on the county’s entire needy population, according to data obtained by Fox News.

The data was obtained from the county Department of Public Social Services – which is responsible for doling out the benefits – and gives a snapshot of the financial costs associated with sanctuary and related policies.

The sanctuary county of Los Angeles is an illegal immigration epicenter, with the largest concentration of any county in the nation, according to a study from the Migration Policy Institute. The county also allows illegal immigrant parents with children born in the United States to seek welfare and food stamp benefits.

Robert Rector, a Heritage Foundation senior fellow who has written extensive studies on poverty and illegal immigration, said the costs represent “the tip of the iceberg.”…

Toyota To Build $1.6 Billion U.S. Plant With Rival Mazda – OAN
.

.
Toyota Motor Corp and rival Mazda Motor Corp are expected to announce plans on Friday to build a $1.6 billion U.S assembly plant as part of a new joint venture, a person briefed on the matter said. The plant will be capable of producing 300,000 vehicles a year, with production divided between the two automakers, and will employ about 4,000 people when it opens in 2021, the person said.

A new auto plant would be a major boost to U.S. President Donald Trump, who campaigned on promises to increase manufacturing and expand employment for American autoworkers.

The source, who was not authorized to speak to the media and requested anonymity, said the plant in a yet-to-be-determined U.S. location was expected to build Toyota Corolla cars and a Mazda crossover utility vehicle…

Massive Doctor Shortage Reveals Obamacare Is Killing The Medical Profession – Red Alert Politics

Even though President Trump promised to let Obamacare fail before coming to a deal with the House and Senate Democrats who wouldn’t budge on repeal and replace efforts, doctors are taking the brunt of the damage.

In 2015, the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) reported that there will be a shortage of 90,000 physicians by 2025, particularly in the practice of primary care. Dr. Bruce Koeppen, dean of the new Quinnipiac University Medical School, has put an emphasis on bringing in more applicants who want to specialize in primary care to help curb the massive shortfall of 35,000 primary care physicians in 2025.

“Your primary care physician is your navigator through the healthcare system,” Koeppen told CBS2 New York. “They see you for every particular problem you have, they can refer you to specialists if that’s the case, but they’re the ones who know you the best.”

Some of the reasons for this massive shortage include an increasing demand for primary care doctors, physicians who are retiring from the profession, and, of course, money…

McMaster’s NSC Coup Against Trump Purges Critics Of Islam And Obama – Frontpage
.

.
Derek Harvey was a man who saw things coming. He had warned of Al Qaeda when most chose to ignore it. He had seen the Sunni insurgency rising when most chose to deny it.

The former Army colonel had made his reputation by learning the lay of the land. In Iraq that meant sleeping on mud floors and digging into documents to figure out where the threat was coming from.

It was hard to imagine anyone better qualified to serve as President Trump’s top Middle East adviser at the National Security Council than a man who had been on the ground in Iraq and who had seen it all.

Just like in Iraq, Harvey began digging at the NSC. He came up with a list of Obama holdovers who were leaking to the press. McMaster, the new head of the NSC, refused to fire any of them…

GOP-Run Senate Blocks Trump From Making Recess Appointments Over Break – The Hill

The Senate blocked President Trump from being able to make recess appointments on Thursday as lawmakers leave Washington for their summer break.

Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska), doing wrap up for the entire Senate, locked in nine “pro-forma” sessions – brief meetings that normally last roughly a minute.

The move, which requires the agreement of every senator, means the Senate will be in session every three business days throughout the August recess.

The Senate left D.C. on Thursday evening with most lawmakers not expected to return to Washington until after Labor Day.

Senators were scheduled to be in town through next week, but staffers and senators predicted they would wrap up a few remaining agenda items and leave Washington early.

Trump isn’t the first president to face the procedural roadblock from Congress.

The Senate has used the brief sessions to block recess appointments for decades, including last year to keep President Obama from being able to fill a vacant Supreme Court seat…

Princeton University is giving its students the option of picking a gender or, reportedly, several genders.

“Students use TigerHub to provide the University with personal information on a confidential basis,” a university spokesman told Fox News. “This information includes emergency contacts, their preferred name, and, if they wish to provide it in response to an optional question, the gender with which they identify.”

Half Of Detroit’s Mayoral Candidates Are Felons – Zero Hedge

Will voters in one of the most crime-ridden cities in the country be able to stomach voting for a convicted felon? Residents of Detroit are about to find out. Half of the candidates running in next Tuesday’s mayoral primary – the first since the city emerged from Bankruptcy protection in 2014 – have felony convictions on their records, according to an analysis of criminal records by the Detroit News.

In what we must admit is a masterful attempt at spin, one political operative said the felony convictions make the candidates more relatable because they show the candidates have each “lived a little.”

“Black marks on your record show you have lived a little and have overcome some challenges,” said Bowens, a former press secretary to Detroit Mayor Dennis Archer and NAACP activist. “They (candidates) deserve the opportunity to be heard, but they also deserve to have the kind of scrutiny that comes along with trying to get an important elected position.”

Michigan election law stipulates that convicted felons can vote and run for office as long as they are not incarcerated or guilty of certain fraud-related offenses, or crimes involving a breach of the public trust…

Pentagon Investigators Find ‘Security Risks’ In Obama-Era Immigrant Recruitment Program, ‘Infiltration’ Feared – Fox News

Meanwhile, Canada’s ‘Free’ Health Care System Is Also Exploding – Daily Caller

“Free” Canadian healthcare is not free, according to a report released Tuesday by noted conservative Canadian think-tank, The Fraser Institute. The report illuminates that a “typical Canadian family of four will pay $12,057 for health care in 2017 – an increase of nearly 70 percent over the last 20 years.”

Canada operates under a medicare system that is understood as single-payer. Not only does the federal government use money from its general revenue to finance this taxpayer-funded health care system, individual provinces also contribute by raising money through special levies that are deducted when Canadians pay their income tax.

Former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton spoke repeatedly of her admiration for Canadian medicare, and Congressional Democrats could be moving in that direction in their response to the implosion of Obamacare.

“Health care in Canada isn’t free – Canadians actually pay a substantial amount for health care through their taxes, even if they don’t pay directly for medical services,” said Bacchus Barua, senior economist with the Fraser Institute’s Centre for Health Policy Studies, in a statement…

West Virginia’s Democrat Governor Announces Switch To GOP At Trump Rally – Chicago Tribune

West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice announced Thursday he’s switching parties to join Republicans as President Donald Trump visited the increasingly conservative state. Judge Bans Mention Of ‘Muslims’ And ‘Islam’ At Public Meeting – Daily Caller

A federal judge banned the mention of Muslims and Islam at an upcoming New Jersey town public hearing concerning an Islamic group’s request to build a mosque.

The August 8 public hearing will discuss the $3.25 million settlement the Department of Justice ordered Bernards Township to pay in May to the Islamic Society of Basking Ridge for denying their permit to build a mosque in a residential area, according to Fox News. A Christian non-profit law firm, The Thomas More Law Center (TMLC), filed a federal lawsuit over the judge’s word ban on behalf of Christopher and Loretta Quick, who live within 200 feet of the site zoned for the mosque.

“Bernards Township capitulated to the Islamic Society of Basking Ridge, not only paying them $3.25 million and allowing the construction of a mosque in a residential area not suited for such a building, but violated the free speech rights of its citizens by prohibiting them from commenting on Islam or Muslims at an upcoming public hearing,” Richard Thompson, president and chief counsel of TMLC, told Fox News…

Trump And Shulkin Unveil VA’s Telehealth Program – Washington Free Beacon
.

.
President Donald Trump and Secretary of Veterans Affairs David Shulkin, M.D. unveiled the VA’s new telehealth program on Thursday.

The program allows doctors who are far from their patients to still be able to see and talk to their patients, especially those who live in rural areas. Patients can go to a nearby medical facility where there are nurses and technicians or use devices from home. The doctors will be able to see their patients and discuss what may be concerning them.

“We’re expanding the ability of veterans to connect with their VA health care team from anywhere using mobile application on the veterans’ own phone or the veterans’ own computer,” Trump said. “This will significantly expand access to care for our veterans, especially for those who need help in the area of mental health which is a bigger and bigger request and also in suicide prevention.”…
