Arlington, Texas Store Clerks Fight Off Attempted Armed Robbery – KDFW

You saw this surveillance video first on FOX 4 News. Arlington police are now asking for the public’s help to find the would-be robbers who were held off by two store clerks. Police say they are glad no one was hurt but do not recommend anyone challenge armed gunmen. They hope the video helps generate tips to put the two bad guys behind bars.

Khurrum Monga says his son, Haris Monga, immediately noticed the two young men who’d walked into the store were overly dressed for the 100-degree heat on July 18. They claimed they had phones to sell, but pulled a gun instead and jumped the counter. Haris and his father fought back.

The second suspect in white pulled his gun too, which Khurrum boldly swatted away at one point.

“I was just fighting with him,” Kurrum recalled. “I don’t know what happened. It just happens in a couple of seconds.”

One gunman took off, but Khurrum and Haris hung on to the other man until he ripped through his shirt to get away…

Toxic Feminism Has Now Infected Yet Another Lucrative Industry – Daily Caller

Social justice is creeping into the world of Young Adult book publishing as intersectional feminists position themselves as censors and the arbiters of acceptable content. It poses a danger to the lucrative industry that spawned Harry Potter, Twilight, The Hunger Games, and innumerable others.

In the world of YA fiction, sci-fi, and fantasy, mobs of social justice culture cops have taken to bullying authors and publishers whom they deem “problematic,” which may affect the creative output – as well as the bottom line – of independent writers.

In an in-depth feature for Vulture, Kat Rosenfield highlighted the bullying controversy surrounding Laurie Forest’s debut fantasy novel “The Black Witch,” which is under fire for racist content. Reception for the novel had been widely positive prior to its release, but a 9,000-word review from Shauna Sinyard, a blogger and self-described “queer author assistant for hire” (in her now-deleted Twitter profile) killed the hype when it gained traction through social media…

Department Of Education? Why? – David L. Burkhead
.

.
In 1979, during the administration of President Jimmy Carter, the Federal Department of Education was created as a Cabinet Level department. In the 38 years since then, we have spent $1.5 trillion on this department.

It was created in response to a study of Education in America that famously said “If a foreign nation imposed this system of education on us, it would be considered an act of war.” It was supposed to “fix” the problem and dramatically improve education in America. [Ed: The source where I got that information was apparently chronologically challenged as that quote was from the 1983 “A Nation At Risk” study. It was instead created apparently to fulfill a promise Carter made to the National Education Association gaining their support during his campaign]…

Here Are All The Media Outlets Blatantly Lying About The Google Memo – The Federalist

Media outlets are lying about a memo written by one of Google’s top scientists, which calls out the tech-giant’s illegal discrimination practices and blinding liberal biases.

Google has fired the author of the memo, James Damore, after the document received considerable backlash and was unfairly portrayed by many news outlets.

Here are some of the more blatant lies about the memo perpetuated by news media outlets.

1. The Washington Post

The newspaper which likes to remind us that “democracy dies in darkness” posted this downright lie about the whole affair on its Snapchat.

Damore never once says that women are “genetically unsuited” for tech jobs. Saying that men and women are different and that ignoring those differences will harm employees by causing stress or creating tensions is not the same as saying one is “genetically unsuited.”

A Fashion Company Tried To ‘Reclaim’ The Swastika, It Didn’t Go Well – Chicago Tribune
.

.
A design studio that tried to “reclaim” the swastika by selling shirts emblazoned with rainbow versions of the Nazi symbol has pulled its products after weeks of backlash, including from a national anti-Semitism group.

KA Design first pushed out its idea for “The New Swastika” in a July 12 Facebook video that reviewed the swastika’s long history.

For thousands of years, the video noted, the swastika had been used in numerous cultures to symbolize peace, love, luck, infinity and life.

“but one day Nazism,” text in the video noted, in one of the clip’s many capitalization-challenged semi-non sequiturs. “they stigmatized the Swastika forever. they won / they limited our freedom / or maybe not?…

Car Rams Into Group Of Soldiers In Paris; Six Injured In “Deliberate Act Of Terrorism” – Zero Hedge

In the latest car-ramming terrorist attack in France, at least six French soldiers were injured, three of them seriously, after being rammed by what was described as a black BMW in a Paris suburb, French Armed forces confirmed, adding that the police were searching for the driver in what prosecutors are treating as the latest act of terrorism.

Patrick Balkany, the local mayor for the suburb of Levallois-Perret, said on French television that it was “without a doubt a deliberate act.” Quoted by the WSJ, he said the vehicle involved was a black BMW. The driver waited in an alley near the local city hall before driving his car into the men as they walked out of a building toward their vehicle around 8 a.m. local time, Mr. Balkany added. He also said that the incident took place not far from the town hall.

“I find this shameful,” Balkany said, calling the incident an “intolerable aggression.”

Minister for the Armed Forces Florence Parly condemned the incident as a “cowardly act,”saying that the investigation is yet to determine the motives of the attacker…

.
An attorney for Trump, Jay Sekulow said on his radio show Tuesday morning that he discovered an email connecting the Loretta Lynch and Bill Clinton Tarmac scandal to the Obama White House.

This is a huge development as it proves how much they were panicking internally as the Obama administration fiercely worked to spin this meeting to the public after denying involvement.

Trump Has Eliminated 11,000 Federal Jobs So Far – Truthfeed

President Trump is keeping yet another BIG campaign promise: draining the swamp!

So far, Trump has already eliminated 11,000 federal jobs, which is the exact opposite of Obama who added thousands of federal jobs.

Of course, the swamp is still rife with Obama holdovers that need to be purged, but it’s a start.

From The Blaze

The Government Executive reported Friday that in its first six months, the Trump administration has slashed nearly 11,000 federal jobs, reversing a trend from the Obama administration that saw the number of federal workers continually increase.

The July jobs report showed that 2,700 federal jobs were cut that month, bringing the total number of jobs cut since Trump assumed the White House to 10,700.

The report was huge for the Trump administration because it also showed that more than 1 million new private-sector jobs have been created since Trump was inaugurated in January…

Google Fires Author Of “Outrageous” Memo Slamming Company’s Anti-Conservative Culture – Zero Hedge
.

.
Yesterday we reported that a 10-page document penned by an unnamed Google engineer titled “Google’s Ideological Echo Chamber” which criticized the company’s “left-leaning”, “anti-conservative” culture and called for replacing Google’s diversity initiatives with policies that encourage “ideological diversity” instead, led to angry outrage among fellow Google employees and Silicon Valley liberals. The document, published in its entirety by Gizmodo, quickly went “viral” both inside the company and within the broader Silicon Valley community.

The document’s author also wrote that employees with conservative political beliefs are discriminated against at Google and lamented about how “leftist” ideology is harmful. It argued that the company should have a more “open” culture where its viewpoint would be welcomed…

Crooked Mueller’s Sinister Two Grand Juries Scheme Exposed – Truthfeed

As the witch hunt of an investigation into President Trump continues, things are getting more ridiculous by the minute.

It’s becoming apparent that those behind this ludicrous attempt to attack our president are not even trying to pretend that they’re not out to get him.

Robert Mueller, the Deep State sycophant who’s leading the “Special Counsel” that is desperately trying to destroy President Trump, has taken an unprecedented step recently by impaneling two separate Grand Juries. This is unheard of, and it shows that Mueller is absolutely determined to cause damage to our president, no matter what.

In fact, Mueller had already impaneled a Grand Jury in Virginia before he decided to impanel a second one in Washington D.C.

According to famed lawyer Allen Dershowitz, this is clear evidence of a witch hunt, and if anyone would know, it would be him….

More Than 1.1 Million Fewer Americans On Food Stamps Under Trump – Breitbart
.

.
More than 1.1 million Americans dropped off the food stamp rolls since President Trump took office in January 2017, according to the latest U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) statistics on food stamp enrollment.

Participation in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) dropped to 41,496,255 in May 2017, the most recent data available from the USDA, from 42,691,363 in January 2017 when Trump took office.

According to the latest data, SNAP enrollment during the first few months of Trump’s presidency decreased by 2.79 percent. Food stamp participation on average in 2017 has dropped to its lowest level since 2010, and the latest numbers show that this trend is continuing…

UAW Files Federal Complaints After Nissan Workers Overwhelmingly Reject Unionization – Washington Free Beacon

The United Auto Workers union has turned to federal labor regulators to boost its campaign in the south after workers overwhelmingly rejected its bid to unionize a Mississippi plant.

Nissan workers in Canton voted 2,244 to 1,307 against unionization, dealing a blow to the UAW’s bid to establish a footprint in right to work Mississippi. The union filed a slew of unfair labor practice complaints to the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) as the two-day secret ballot election drew to a close on Friday. The complaints allege that the company’s management violated federal labor law by threatening to close the plant or otherwise cut wages, benefits, or jobs if workers voted to join the union.

“We’re disappointed but not surprised by the outcome in Canton,” UAW Treasurer Gary Casteel said in a release. “Despite claiming for years to be neutral on the question of a union, Nissan waged one of the most illegal and unethical anti-union campaigns that I’ve seen in my lifetime. Clearly, Nissan will not honor workers’ right to be free of coercion and intimidation without a binding court order requiring the company to stop.”…

The 8 Dirtiest Scandals Of Robert Mueller No One Is Talking About – WorldNetDaily
.

.
Special counsel Robert Mueller is investigating claims the Trump campaign colluded with Russia over the 2016 election, and possibly other topics the public may know nothing about.

He’s been on “the case” only a few months, since ex-FBI Director James Comey was fired, but the review, going back into last year, hasn’t produced any evidence yet, and Mueller’s now putting his agenda before a grand jury. And his investigators have gone to the White House requesting documents concerning former national security adviser Gen. Michael Flynn.

Whether his probe, which reportedly now may be encompassing Trump’s vast business empire and the financial transactions of his associates, produces results or not remains to be seen….

Revealed: Google’s Social Justice Warriors Create Wrongthink Blacklists – Breitbart

Numerous individuals alleged to be members of Google’s management team have been caught bragging about forming blacklists to impact the careers of colleagues with different political beliefs.

In a series of screenshots from 2015 onwards provided to Breitbart News by a verified Google employee, individuals described as left-wing Google management employees can be seen discussing the ways they punish their colleagues both inside and out of the company.

“While Google appears to be doing very little to quell the hostile voices that exists inside the company, I want those hostile voices to know: I will never, ever hire hire/transfer you onto my team. Ever. I don’t care if you are perfect fit of technically excellent or whatever,” declared former employee Adam Fletcher in a post on Google’s internal, staff-only Google+ network: “Internal Plus.” “I will actively not work with you, even to the point where your team or product is impacted by this decision. I’ll communicate why to your manager if it comes up.”…

Miami Dolphins Choose Retired Quarterback Jay Cutler Over America-Hating Assclown Colin Kaepernick – TellMeNow
.

.
Colin Kaepernick continues to be an unemployed quarterback after the Miami Dolphins plucked 34-year-old Jay Cutler out of retirement rather than sign the 29-year-old divisive Kaepernick.

Cutler has been signed to a one year contract to replace Ryan Tannehill, who is injured. Cutler had just announced retirement in May claiming that he lost the desire to play. Kaepernick is so toxic that the Dolphins overlooked him for someone who doesn’t even have the drive anymore.

It’s pretty simple to understand why Kaepernick would have never fit in with the Dolphins. The Miami Dolphins have a large Cuban-American fan base. Not only did Kaepernick attack our police officers, but he publicly supported Fidel Castro and the Communist government in Cuba…

Trump Effect: iPhone Supplier Foxconn Announces Second Plant Coming To Michigan – Breitbart

Apple iPhone supplier Foxconn has announced that it is planning a second manufacturing plant, this one in Michigan. After Foxconn announced a new plant in Wisconsin just last month, these newest jobs are coming to the second state that was key to President Trump’s election in 2016.

The coming Michigan plant will focus on autonomous vehicles, Foxconn founder Terry Gou said, according to CNBC.

“Automotive development in the U.S. is still more advanced than China,” Gou said. “Besides self-driving technology, I’m also interested in artificial intelligence and deep learning technology.”

Like the Wisconsin facility, no final location for the new Michigan plant has been decided. The Michigan announcement is the second such expansion announced in a state that was crucial to Donald Trump’s 2016 election to the White House.

At the end of July, President Trump announced that the iPhone supplier was to build a manufacturing plant in the Badger State at a site yet to be determined…

Snowflake Update: Georgia Professor Letting Students Choose Their Own Grades For ‘Stress Reduction’ – Campus Reform
.

.
A University of Georgia professor has adopted a “stress reduction policy” that will allow students to select their own grades if they “feel unduly stressed” by the ones they earned.

According to online course syllabi for two of Dr. Richard Watson’s fall business courses, he has introduced the policy because “emotional reactions to stressful situations can have profound consequences for all involved.” As such, if students feel “unduly stressed by a grade for any assessable material or the overall course,” they can “email the instructor indicating what grade [they] think is appropriate, and it will be so changed” with “no explanation” being required.

“If in a group meeting, you feel stressed by your group’s dynamics, you should leave the meeting immediately and need offer no explanation to the group members,” the policy adds…

President Trump Goes After Democrat Senator Blumenthal: ‘He Was A Phony Vietnam Con Artist’ – The Hill

President Trump on Monday attacked Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.), calling him a “phony Vietnam con artist.”

“Interesting to watch Senator Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut talking about hoax Russian collusion when he was a phony Vietnam con artist!” Trump tweeted.

Trump added that “never in U.S. history has anyone lied or defrauded voters” like the Connecticut Democrat.

“He told stories about his Vietnam battles and conquests, how brave he was, and it was all a lie. He cried like a baby and begged for forgiveness like a child. Now he judges collusion?” the president tweeted.

Blumenthal appeared earlier in the morning on CNN’s “New Day.” During that interview, the senator said he was “concerned” the Department of Justice is “weaponizing” laws after it announced a crackdown on leaks…

Runaway German Schoolgirl Faces Execution For Joining ISIS After Being Captured By Iraqi Soldiers In Mosul – Daily Mail
.

.
This is the moment a German schoolgirl was found hiding in war-torn Mosul having fled from Germany to join ISIS. Jihadi bride Linda Wenzel, 16, was filmed by an Iraqi soldier when she was dragged, filthy, dazed and wounded in her arm, from the former terror stronghold.

Footage shows the teenager wincing with pain and screaming as she was led away to a makeshift prison while baying soldiers celebrated her capture. There are reports that she is being detained for questioning over terrorism offences and could face the death penalty in Iraq for being a member of ISIS.

Wenzel, who converted to Islam as a 15-year-old schoolgirl in her hometown of Pulsnitz in eastern Germany last year, ran away from home to join the fanatics after being groomed online by an ISIS recruiter…

Rod Rosenstein: Mueller Needs To Come To Me If He Wants To Chase Any Crime Outside Scope Of Russia Probe – Washington Examiner

If special counsel Robert Mueller finds any crime outside the scope of the federal investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election, then he’ll have to seek permission, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein said Sunday.

“Bob Mueller understands and I understand the specific scope of the investigation, and so no, it’s not a fishing expedition,” he told host Chris Wallace on “Fox News Sunday.”

Rosenstein appointed Mueller to oversee the federal Russia probe, which includes a search for possible collusion with the Trump campaign, back in May after President Trump fired FBI Director James Comey. Because Attorney General Jeff Sessions recused himself from the case, Rosenstein ultimately was given the power to hire, and fire if he has good reason, Mueller.

It has been reported that Mueller’s investigation has expanded to look at the finances of Trump and his associates, giving rise to concerns that Mueller could make it the focus of the probe. Rosenstein seemed to dismiss this issue…
