Hey guys,
Today’s Nic Kristoff column is ridiculous. http://www.nytimes.com/2008/12/18/opinion/18kristof.html?ref=opinion
Here’s the quote that gets me: “One of industry’s objections is that soft drinks aren’t the only problem. That’s true, and I’d love to see a “Twinkie tax” as well.”
The nanny staters keep using over-hyped health or environmental concerns as an excuse to climb inside our kitchen cabinets and tax everything in there. Equating soda pop with cigarettes? Sure, and potato chips equal cocaine.

Just wanted to give you the heads-up about a new blog started by the American Beverage Association (they’re the non-alcoholic beverage group) at http://www.ameribev.org/blog/
It just got started, but look for it to be very outspoken on a lot of tax and health issues.
Just landed here via a link from Michelle Malkin’s site. GREAT site! Keep up the good work. I still believe we can take back America from the space aliens.
We were taking some time today browsing for some information. And that’s how we landed to your blog(http://vigltd.blogspot.com/). Over here we were happy to see several information. They really form a good source of information.
I ‘ve added your blog to My Blog Roll at

Did you change anything on your blog in these last several days?
All of a sudden It’s freezing my desktop(win-7) like it’s downloading a buttload of information and I have to get out to do anything.
Been a daily reader of your site for a long time. Last month, I took the plunge and started my own blog. Your site was one of the first on my blogroll. I’d appreciate a spot on your blogroll.
Thanks so much for the link ups and adding me to your blogroll. It is appreciated and helpful since we are a struggling start up. ZTW at Zion’s Trumpet.

Is it me or does your Gator helmet not format correctly? Do you remember the game when the UM beat Florida by playing the waterboy at QB when they ran out of QBs at practice? 1953 from the book “Gene Ellenson, A Gator Legend” ( our next door neighbor in Coral Gables before he moved to Gainesville.) Love your blog
Cool blog. I was hoping you guys might be interested in trading links or some sort of partnership. My site is currently getting about 300 uniques a day and is a PR2, but growing very quickly. If you would be willing to add me to your blogroll in your sidebar I would add you to my site as well.
This is an AWESOME blog! It is now on my bookmark. 🙂
I work for KeepShooting.com – BTP Arms and our company has been in business for over 10 years. We sell a variety of firearms, guns and ammo and many hard-to-find military surplus products. I see that you have a section for Guns & Ammo. We would love to be listed under there. My boss Brian Platt and I are both Life members of NRA and during the panic buying two years ago, our company did not engage in “pricing gouging”, unlike some other websites. We are honest people and our price is always at the lowest. Please let me know if you can list our website http://www.keepshooting.com under Guns & Ammo.
Thank you for your attention. I am sorry to post this message here but I cannot seem to find your Email address.
Hey Doug, I really enjoy reading your blog. Especially the ones that are gun related. My name is Zack and I am the owner of Shooters Plus. A retail gun store and online gun store located in Mississippi. We also have a gun blog and I will be adding thedaleygator to our blogroll if it’s okay with you. I was also wondering/hoping if there was anyway we could get our website link listed under your Guns and Ammo links on right side column? Our site is http://www.shootersplus.com. Thanks and I look forward to reading more of your articles.
Hi Doug, It’s Zack Phillips again from Shooters Plus. hate to ask but is there any way you can change our link (under guns and ammo) from reading http://www.shootersplus.com/home to just http://www.shootersplus.com? Without the /home. Apparently google is seeing it as two different sites. Thanks a bunch and let me know when you decide on a gun. I’ll work with you on it.
Hey guys – love your site, awesome content. I couldn’t find an E-mail address to contact you on and was curious about how to get listed in your blog roll. I help run a firearms website called Arms Bearing Citizen and would love to swap links with you guys.
