Apparently not. Given this headline for example. Naked women smeared in……. Well those first words caught my eye. And my mind pondered the next word. Whip cream? Baby oil? Honey? Strawberries? Chocolate sauce? All of those would work very well for me. Really, ANY of those, but, fake blood? Naked women smeared in fake blood? Damn Leftists!
Barcelona (AFP) – Animal rights defenders stripped down Sunday in the Spanish tourist hub of Barcelona to draw attention to the alleged cruelty of the fur industry.
Dozens of activists, naked, doused in fake blood and piled together in imitation of a heap of animal carcasses, staged a lie-in in the centre of town.
“How many lives just for a coat?” read a sign in English held up by Luisa Escribano, 53, and her daughter Barbara, 21, in the middle of the protesters.
“It is very important to draw attention to what happens to the animals, and which goes largely unnoticed. They suffer and die on farms, but their lives matter for me and my family,” said Luisa.
The Left ruins everything, I mean I almost cannot appreciate this photo anymore. Oh, who am I kidding, of course I can.
I love art!
PETA Gets Sued For Stealing, Then Murdering, A Family Dog – Daily Caller
A family is suing People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) for $9 million after two senior employees stole their pet Chihuahua Maya off their porch and had the dog killed.
The family captured video on their home surveillance system of two PETA employees, Victoria Carey and Jennifer Woods chasing Maya down, taking her off the family’s porch and shoving the dog into a white van. PETA admitted four months later it euthanized Maya later that day.
Victoria Carey was a contract worker for PETA and had been the organization’s human resources director. Jennifer Woods is PETA’s senior communications administrator. Carey’s contract with PETA has been terminatied, but Woods remains employed.
State law requires that animals be held for five days before they are euthanized to allow people to recover their animals in situations like this. An investigation by the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services founded PETA violated the law and imposed the largest fine it could, $500.
The family says the two PETA workers apologized by giving the family a fruit basket.
PETA euthanized 2,454 of the 3,369 cats, dogs and other animals it took in in 2014. Only 23 dogs and 16 cats taken in by PETA were adopted. A PETA press release claims the organization offered “free euthanasia services for 2,454 dogs, cats, and other animals in just one area of the United States.”
A statement by PETA to a local news channel on Maya’s death claims the incident “was extremely upsetting, therefore, to discover that in the course of doing something helpful and good, something bad had happened.”
Girls Just Wanna Have Guns has the story, and it will frighten anyone who hunts. And it should frighten anyone who, like me, does not really hunt, but cares about liberty, and about the very positive things outdoorsmen do for wildlife and the environment.
There is an organized jihad being waged by radical environmental and animal rights activists against hunting, fishing, and trapping. Some of this push is overt, while other efforts are subtle yet equally sinister.
These radical groups hope to substitute natural resource harvesting activities (such as hunting) by humans as the long-standing preferred method of wildlife management, and to instead adopt a new approach incorporating a theoretical but unrealistic natural predator-prey environmental balance.
We all area ware of the “unintended consequences” of so many Liberal ideals. This will be no better I suspect, and the animals would suffer greatly, and if they would suffer so would the environment. Here is more
The details of this extravagant theory were first laid out by Earth First co-founder David Foreman. In his book, Rewilding North America ( http://tiny.cc/hkbkjx ) , he says:
“Specific actions that best meet my criteria for continental-scale conservation are the following:
- Reintroduce carnivores wherever possible
- Reintroduce beavers and other highly interactive species
- Establish species recovery goals for ecologically effective populations
- Generally halt all predator and “pest” control
- Reform wildlife management to adopt a more ecological approach
- Select and design new wilderness areas based on ecological principles
- Protect all large roadless areas on public lands
- Create larger roadless areas in the East
- Remove livestock from much of the public lands
- Reform livestock grazing where it continues
- Prioritize simple soil and gully erosion control
- Prohibit big tree logging
- Develop standards for ecological restoration in wilderness areas
- Remove abandoned and unnecessary livestock fencing
- Restrict all motorized vehicles to designated routes
- Reduce the miles of public lands roads
- Stop bogus R.S. 2477 (highway right-of-way) claims
- Establish landscape permeability as a public land management goal
- Identify and remove or mitigate barriers to wildlife movement
- Encourage ecological management of private, corporate, and tribal lands important for linkages
- Identify private lands that should be acquired on a willing-seller basis
- Restore a natural fire ecology
- Remove destructive, unnecessary dams
- Restore or mimic natural, over-the-bank flooding, where possible
- Establish in-stream flow as a beneficial water use
- Prioritize removal of exotic species that threaten native species and wildlands
- Design networks for climate change . . . .”
For the record, I do not oppose the reintroduction of carnivores to areas where they once resided. I think that would be a good step. The rest of that list, however smacks of radicalism disguised as environmentalism.
Donald Douglas has noticed this trend. By the way, who knew that there were transgender animals, or that they had rights 😉
At London’s Daily Mail, “Former soldier who became animal rights commander is jailed for six years over campaign of terror against animal testing company.”
Here’s a particularly grizzly account at the Times of Zambia, “Animal rights activist jailed for blackmail plot“:
Debbie Vincent, a 52-year-old former soldier who underwent a sex change, was found guilty last month for her part in a conspiracy to blackmail British-based Huntingdon Life Sciences (HLS).
Vincent became the public face of Stop Huntingdon Animal Cruelty (SHAC) after seven members of the group were jailed for a total of 50 years in 2009 for their role in the campaign.
Members of the group falsely accused HLS staff members of being paedophiles, sent them hoax bombs and sanitary towels claimed to be infected with AIDS, and caused criminal damage to their cars and homes.
In May 2009, activists dug up a grave in Switzerland and removed an urn containing the ashes of the mother of Daniel Vasella, the then-chairman of Swiss pharmaceutical giant Novartis, one of HLS’ suppliers.
Sentencing Vincent at Winchester Crown Court in southeast England, judge Keith Cutler said: “It is difficult for a judge to calculate the repugnance felt by society to such appalling acts.
“Nothing at all could justify such attacks.”
He added: “You express no shred of remorse or condemnation for the incidents of extreme terror and desecration which have been caused.”
A group of Vincent’s supporters held placards outside the court reading “No Excuse for Animal Abuse” and “Against Animal Testing and State Repression”.
Leftist PETA Hands Out Comic Books Showing Mutilated Cows To Kids In Elementary School – Weasel Zippers
Shockingly, people are less than thrilled with this.
WOODLAND HILLS (CBSLA.com) – Parents say they are considering taking PETA to court over an innocent-looking comic handed out to children at Calabash Elementary School in Woodland Hills that contained graphic images of mutilated cows.
Claire Borsheim and many other parents at the Woodland Hills campus were outraged after PETA handed out the pamphlets to their children the same day a baby cow was on campus for a lesson about dairy farming.
The pamphlet appeared to be a cartoon comic and was titled “A Cow’s Life,” but the images inside were horrifying, parents said.
“My 6-year-old daughter was handed one of these comics, saw the insert of the mutilated cow that I ripped away right away, she started flipping through it and saw pictures of baby cows being electrocuted, factory farms with machetes, I mean, just graphically horrifying images for a 6 year old,” Borsheim said.
“The images are pretty graphic,” parent Shawn Belschner said. “They’re of mutilated cows, infected cows, cows being dehorned, cows in bad conditions. I don’t think it’s good for any child.”
The graphic leaflet showing cows being dehorned and cows with infected udders was PETA says is a kid-friendly pamphlet about dairy cows – literature they say is meant to be educational.

Come on take a guess. What would a
rock star self-impressed douche nozzle think was as awful as eating meat? Give up? Well here is your answer
1980′s English rock star Steven Morrissey said in an online interview this week that he doesn’t see a difference between eating meat and pedophilia.
“I see no difference between eating animals and paedophilia (sic),” he said, responding to a question about what’s motivated him to be a vegetarian. “They are both rape, violence, murder.”
Egads! Who says doing drugs will not affect your brain? Here is more from Morrissey
“If I’m introduced to anyone who eats beings, I walk away,” the former frontman for The Smiths continued. Imagine, for example, if you were in a nightclub and someone said to you ‘Hello, I enjoy bloodshed, throat-slitting and the destruction of life,’ well, I doubt if you’d want to exchange phone numbers.”
