The epic battle for the ages begins!

Feminuts vs Trannies! This showdown of victim classes is for the I Am Oppressed Championship Belt! The Other McCain offers  a preview

The ongoing conflict between radical feminists and transgender activists, which I first noticed in January and revisited last night in the context of the Dana McCallum rape case, has escaped the notice of mainstream liberal journalism. Liberals tacitly side with the transgenders in pretending that the radfems — a/k/a TERFs (Trans Exclusionary Radical Feminists) — have no legitimate grievance.

What the TERFs perceive is that male-to-female transgenders are cynically seeking to usurp and co-opt the “feminist” label for their own advantage, thus shunting aside biological women and demoting them to second-class status within their own movement.

Of course, the instinctive conservative reaction to all this is to pop some popcorn and enjoy the schadenfreude. But the very fact that liberals want everybody to ignore this obscure conflict should be a clue that the conflict is, in fact, highly significant. Much like the Hugo Schwzyer “male feminist” controversy, which long raged on the margins of Gender Theory discussion before erupting into headlines, the TERF war against transfeminism (and vice-versa) tells us a lot about the problems of contemporary progressivism.

This one should have a stipulation. The loser has to make the winner sandwiches for life!

A Kook, a mass murderer, and the Kook’s shoe walk into a bar………

Never under estimate the crazy factor

The wackos are everywhere nowadays:

Before a wig-wearing nutjob threw a shoe at Hillary Clinton, the footwear flinger gave her heart to accused Colorado mass killer James Holmes.
Alison Ernst, 36, of Phoenix, was identified Friday as the sneaker-tossing kook who targeted the former First Lady one day earlier during a speech at a Las Vegas casino.
And Colorado officials confirmed she was the loopy lady escorted from the courtroom after a bizarre — and bald-headed — outburst during an August 2012 court hearing for Holmes. . . .
Twenty months earlier, she arrived in a Colorado courtroom with her head shaved while wearing a red dress before declaring she held evidence “vital to the defense of James Holmes.” Two deputies quickly escorted her outside.
The Arizona woman later filed an off-the-wall lawsuit detailing her devotion to Holmes, who was accused of killing 12 people and wounding another 70 in an Aurora movie theater. . . .
“I seek a restraining order to stop Holmes from entering my mind through subliminal messaging and causing me to be obsessed with him on a daily basis.”

Wow! Sounds like she already has a restraining order against reality

Left-Wing Media Matters for America declares victory over Fox News

Stacy McCain points out some facts about Fox News after Media Matters for Marxists Against America declares that they have discredited Fox

This is analogous to the problem of conservatives making Fox News a singular focus of efforts to combat liberal media bias. As early as February 2009, I described what I called “The Fox Trap”:

Media-wise, the GOP made the mistake of putting all its eggs in one basket. I enjoy Fox News, but it has created a syndrome where Republicans watch Fox all the time and delude themselves into thinking, “Hey, our message is getting out! We’re winning!” Fact: The evening news broadcasts of ABC, NBC and CBS reach a combined audience of about 22 million; the top rated Fox News show, “The O’Reilly Factor,” reaches 4 million viewers. So if the three broadcast networks are viciously biased against Republicans – and they are – then that anti-GOP message is reaching more than 5 times as many TV viewers as Fox.

Last week, I described the problem again with updated numbers:

[D]uring the Bush presidency, the Left created institutions (notably Media Matters) based on the dubious theory that Fox News and other conservative media had too much influence.
That theory cannot be reconciled with the facts:

NBC Nightly News  . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 9.3 million
ABC World News . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 8.2 million
CBS Evening News . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 7.3 million
Fox News (The O’Reilly Factor) . . . . . . . . . . . 3.2 million
MSNBC (Hardball with Chris Matthews) . . . . . 940,000
CNN (Anderson Cooper 360) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 605,000

Fox News is, as it proudly boasts, Number One in Cable News, accounting for 68% of the cable news audience. Add in the major network evening news broadcasts, however, and the total news audience is closer to 30 million, of which Fox’s share is about 11%.
In other words, 89% of news on TV is reliably liberal in its perspective, and the Left’s obsession with Fox News is absurd. Why should Media Matters have an annual budget of $10 million to counteract the influence of a network that gets 11% of the news audience?

We could discuss at length the ramifications of this data, but the point to be made immediately is that Fox News has functioned like a channelizing terrain feature in the informational battlefield. For the defenders of liberal media hegemony, all they had to do was to isolate Fox — identify it as a hostile force in the eyes of other media — and then to target both the network’s messages and its messengers.

Some very good points raised there. Fox has not influenced the rest of the media to change their game. Instead they have just been pigeon-holed as “Right Wing” by the Left, and to many, many Americans, who get their news from NBC, CBS, and ABC, well, Fox has a, shall we say tarnished reputation. In short, we cannot just rely on Fox News folks. Or on talk radio, which also has been smeared mightily by the Left, or on blogs, which have also been smeared and marginalized by “real journalists”. Stacy McCain sums it up very well

Andrew Breitbart understood this tactic, and fought very hard to escape the “Fox Trap,” which is why he delivered one of his biggest scoops on the WeinerGate scandal — the Meagan Broussard story, which confirmed that Weiner was “sexting” with multiple women — directly to ABC News as an exclusive. If conservative messages and messengers can be limited to one media channel, and that channel reaches no more than a minor fraction of the total news audience, liberals win. It’s really that simple

Bingo!

RS McCain will use any excuse to say Roll Tide

Including mocking a PC infested Liberal Arts school

Tuition at Hamilton College in Clinton, N.Y., is $45,620 a year, and the school employs Amit Taneja as Director, Diversity & Inclusion. Taneja is head of Hamilton’s Days-Massolo Center, which “was created to foster dialogue and understanding within and across differences. The Days-Massolo Center is home to Hamilton’s Womyn’s Center and the newly established LGBTQ Resource Center. So, basically, it’s diversity über allesat Hamilton, and Amit Taneja is Obergruppenführer.

This pricey liberal arts school scheduled an event called “Real Talk: A Dialogue About Internalized Racism,” about how minorities “may have accepted racist attitudes towards other racial groups and [their] own racial/ethnic communities” and, in order to create a “safe zone,” the event was open to people of color only.

I repeat, the event was open to people of color only.

No whites allowed.

Permit me to point out that annual tuition at the University of Alabama is$9,450 for in-state students, $23,950 for out of state.

Any student at Hamilton could transfer to Tuscaloosa, save $20,000 a year and get a hell of a football team to cheer for, too.

Also, the best-looking women in the world.

Screw this elite “diversity” trip. Roll, Tide.

See, no Liberal Arts college, no matter how inane, or insane is safe from The Other McCain. It must be RAAAAACISM! Or, maybe SHAAAAAVISM?

If David Sirota is not the biggest prick in the world, he missed a great chance

Aleister has had it with goons that try to politicize very tragedy, and David Sirota, scumbag supreme, has gone off the deep end of over the Boston terror attack

This, is where I draw the line and speak up. This is the point at which I can no longer remain silent.

This is beyond bad taste, it’s the promotion of racial hatred and violence for the sake of partisanship.

Everyone, every single person who works for Salon.com should be ashamed of themselves.

Especially you, David Sirota. You are a horrible human being.

Why would people like Aleister, Donald Douglas, Stacy McCain, and oh yes, me be so disgusted? Here is Sirota’s piece at Salon, which used to just be a worthless rag, but now is not even worth using as toilet paper.

As we now move into the official Political Aftermath period of the Boston bombing — the period that will determine the long-term legislative fallout of the atrocity — the dynamics of privilege will undoubtedly influence the nation’s collective reaction to the attacks. That’s because privilege tends to determine: 1) which groups are — and are not — collectively denigrated or targeted for the unlawful actions of individuals; and 2) how big and politically game-changing the overall reaction ends up being.

This has been most obvious in the context of recent mass shootings. In those awful episodes, a religious or ethnic minority group lacking such privilege would likely be collectively slandered and/or targeted with surveillance or profiling (or worse) if some of its individuals comprised most of the mass shooters. However, white male privilege means white men are not collectively denigrated/targeted for those shootings — even though most come at the hands of white dudes.

Likewise, in the context of terrorist attacks, such privilege means white non-Islamic terrorists are typically portrayed not as representative of whole groups or ideologies, but as “lone wolf” threats to be dealt with as isolated law enforcement matters. Meanwhile, non-white or developing-world terrorism suspects are often reflexively portrayed as representative of larger conspiracies, ideologies and religions that must be dealt with as systemic threats — the kind potentially requiring everything from law enforcement action to military operations to civil liberties legislation to foreign policy shifts.

“White privilege is knowing that even if the bomber turns out to be white, no one will call for your group to be profiled as terrorists as a result, subjected to special screening or threatened with deportation,” writes author Tim Wise. “White privilege is knowing that if this bomber turns out to be white, the United States government will not bomb whatever corn field or mountain town or stale suburb from which said bomber came, just to ensure that others like him or her don’t get any ideas. And if he turns out to be a member of the Irish Republican Army we won’t bomb Dublin. And if he’s an Italian-American Catholic we won’t bomb the Vatican.”

Because of these undeniable and pervasive double standards, the specific identity of the Boston Marathon bomber (or bombers) is not some minor detail — it will almost certainly dictate what kind of governmental, political and societal response we see in the coming weeks. That means regardless of your particular party affiliation, if you care about everything from stopping war to reducing the defense budget to protecting civil liberties to passing immigration reform, you should hope the bomber was a white domestic terrorist. Why? Because only in that case will privilege work to prevent the Boston attack from potentially undermining progress on those other issues.

Absolutely mind-numbing isn’t it? Every normal person wants whoever committed this evil act hunted down, and punished. Personally I would like to see the die a horrific and extremely painful death, and guess what, be they White, Black, Asian, old, young, man, woman matters not to me. Why? Because it is the act of evil I despise, not skin colors, or sexual orientation, or religion. People like Sirota are obsessed of course with Racial Obsession Syndrome. EVERYTHING is somehow racial to them, and if it isn’t racial they hope and will make it racial anyway. Evidence that other Leftist tools are foaming at the mouth at the very thought of exploiting this event can be found at The Other McCain

So, my three most recent stories for Viral Read were about:

  1. A dead 8-year-old boy;
  2. A dead 29-year-old woman; and
  3. A press conference where the FBI said they are conducting a “wide open” investigation into the Boston bombing.

While doing a search for more coverage to include in my updated aggregation, I happened upon this ghoulish blog post by Politico‘s media critic Dylan Byers:

For many journalists I’ve spoken with today, this ignorance is tortuous. The identification of the attacker(s) and the reasons for the attack will likely have enormous political (and potentially geopolitical) ramifications, which will vary greatly depending on whether the attacker(s) is domestic or foreign, acting alone or as part of an organization. We’re standing on the verge of a very important national conversation about something, and we have no idea what it is.

To translate: By “a very important national conversation,” of course Dylan Byers means, another chance to turn a horrible tragedy into a political talking point.

It really must be an awful existence to be a Leftist, to have that much rage, and venom and hatred inside of you. It must be mental torture for them to look in the mirror knowing deep down they are so twisted that their first reaction when a little boy is killed is to exploit that death along with the suffering of so many.

A guy got a WHAT stuck in his WHERE? And live-Tweeted about it?

Stacy McCain, when not blogging about loathsome attention seeking internet trolls or puffy faced rabid badgers with hemorrhoids also has time to blog, or not blog about a guy sticking a, ah, device, yeah, a device into his, ah, well an orifice that is usually designated as EXIT ONLY Wait, did I mention the “device? was vibrating?

Sometimes you see an item and instantly think, “Wow, I gotta blog that, because this will be hilarious.” And so it was when I saw a weird bit of news from HuffPo, but then . . . blank.

Zilch. Zero. Nada. And I think the problem is that, once you’d read the item, there really isn’t anything you can add to it that would make it any funnier than it already is — that is to say, if you’re the kind of person who thinks it’s funny when a guy has to go to the hospital because he got a dildo wedged up inside his bunghole, then live-Tweets the process of having it extracted.

Did I mention there’s an X-ray?

Yeah, I guess sometimes there are no words, but this guy Tweeted some anyway

I looked the woman at the ER desk dead in the eye and said “there is no other way to put this. I have a vibrating dildo inside my ass”

Ace also is having fun at this idiot’s expense

And your Marxist Moron of the Day is…………

Obama spokespuppet Jay Carney who lashed out at Paul Ryan and others who want to actually cut Obama’s orgy of spending

Via Beltway Confidential:

You Republicans are not smart enough to be as stupid as I am!

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney didn’t pull any punches in his attack on Paul Ryan’s budget, as he declared that supporters of the budget — and by extension, Ryan himself — are “aggressively and deliberately ignorant” about the need for green energy and other programs slated for cuts.

“You have to be aggressively and deliberately ignorant of the world economy not to know and understand that clean energy technologies are going to play a huge role in the 21st century,” Carney said after decrying the clean energy spending cuts in Ryan’s plan. “You have to have severely diminished capacity to understand what drives economic growth in industrialized countries in this century if you do not understand that education is the key that unlocks the door to prosperity,” he added.

Say what? This guy cannot be this stupid can he? Jay, just one question. Where in the Hell IS the economic growth? Obama has been president for over three years. Why is unemployment still so high? Jay, Jay, Jay, you ignorant fool, why did the Obama Stimulus not create jobs? Where did much of the stimulus go Jay? Oh yeah, that’s right, into “Green Energy”

(CNSNews.com) – President Obama’s 2009 economic stimulus law, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, impacted nearly one quarter (25 percent) of all renewable energy initiatives across the government, a Government Accountability Office (GAO) report says.

According to GAO, 157 of the nearly 700 renewable energy initiatives in fiscal year 2010 were either created by the stimulus law, received expanded funding or were modified under it and the futures of some programs are uncertain because of a draw-down in funding — or because they were already set to expire..

The programs were implemented by 23 agencies and their 130 sub-agencies.

“Agencies’ renewable energy efforts increased in recent years as a result of the provisions of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 and other factors,” the GAO report said.

So, Jay, where are the jobs? Oh sure, I know, I am just a dumb Republican right Jay? People like me, and the great folks at Weasel Zippers, just don’t lack the imagination to “get it”

BOULDER CITY, NEV. (AP) — President Barack Obama says that as long as he is in the White House, the U.S. will continue to pursue the promise of clean energy.

Speaking at a solar power facility, Obama says he will not stand by and let countries like China or Germany corner the market on new energy technologies. He says clean energy will not only reduce America’s dependence on foreign oil, it also will create jobs in the U.S.

Obama mocked Republicans for having a lack of imagination and dismissing clean energy technologies just because they are new. The president says America must take risks and stay ahead of the curve in order to be competitive.

A lack of imagination? The only imagination problem I see is with the folks who keep telling us about “green energy”, and how it is the future. Well, Jay, I have one word for you. Solyndra!

Update! Smitty, comes down on Carney with a ton of contempt, and not a bit of pity!

If Mel Brooks were filming The History of the World, Part I, I can think of a top candidate for the role of piss boy

Yesterday, the DC Examiner quoted Carney, trying to refute the leadership displayed by Paul Ryan, as saying:

“You have to be aggressively and deliberately ignorant of the world economy not to know and understand that clean energy technologies are going to play a huge role in the 21st century. . .”

No, Carney, you ignorant tool: you have to be consistently and ideologically foolish about economics to think that government can out-think the market.

BINGO!

Why is this man trying to ruin porn for every other guy out there?

Smitty reports that James Wolcott, who is to writing what Joe Biden is to eloquence, is, well, going to make guys stop, well, you know……

James Wolcott praises “the porn that can be the only source of solace on those lonely nights away from the aggravations of home.”

Obviously, this is why Vanity Fair pays him the big bucks: To tell us what he does in his spare time. But you probably suspected this, didn’t you?

Apologies to readers disturbed by the mental image of a sweaty Wolcott in his undershorts getting his jollies watching pay-per-view cable.

So now, every poor, lonely guy out there will have their porn watching ruined by the mental image of this ass clown flogging his weasel!

WELL! Here is ANOTHER list Ed and I did not make!

Of course, not making a list of blogs and websites that allegedly are “anti-woman”,and that  no one has ever heard of might be a good thing. And, Ed and I are in good company, Stacy McCain missed the list too, and he is not taking it or his rejection by some Feminut named Heidi well and she is quite a babe too

I rode that McCain like a rented mule

Heidi Beirich, you don’t love me no more? You done forgot about me, your ”neo-Confederate” sugar-dumpling?

Sweetheart, I’m plumb heartbroken over being left off your list of “blogs and forums dedicated to savaging feminists.”

See, Stacy is heart broken, outraged, but that is good. Because rejection can lead to some great posts by Stacy!

And when it comes to “savaging feminists,” honey, I acknowledge no superior. It’s still two months away from our fourth annual National Offend a Feminist Week, but we intend to go all out this year and earn our spot in the Big Leagues of Misogynistic Hate-Mongering:

It is truly sublime that a group the DHS cited in its controversial report on right-wing terrorism now turns to a website called “Man Boobz” for its hate-group reporting.

Yeah, Heidi: Times are hard all over when a Ph.D. like you has to work for a laughingstock outfit like the SPLC, warning America of the Dreaded Woman-Hating Online Menace, but at least the New York Times still takes you seriously.

And as for you and me, dear, we’ll always have our romantic memories of moonlit strolls beneath the magnolias in Montgomery . . .

Poor Stacy

You know, I could call James Wolcott a Festering Blob of Stupidity, but that would just be redundant

I suppose I could also call Wolcott the most incessantly boring writer of the 21st century, but, again, that would be redundantly redundant. So, I will just call him Mr. Irrelevant instead.Of course, right now, you are likely scratching your head and wondering who in the Hell James Wolcott is. I will allow Stacy McCain to explain

Pamela Geller’s commentary about Sandra Fluke has caused a conniption on the part of — you guessed, didn’t you?Charles Johnson. Mr. Jazzy McBikeshorts then got into a Twitter colloquy with the infamously boring James Wolcott, who decided to bring my name into it. A commenter informed me about this, prompting my Twitter reply:

News Flash: James Wolcott, who for years has had a Vanity Fair column nobody reads, now has a Twitter account nobody follows.

Because you have probably never heard of James Wolcott, it is necessary to explain that he is a cadaverous-looking college dropout who spent years as an unpopular media critic at the Village Voice before becoming an unpopular columnist at Vanity Fair. His knowledge of politics is extremely limited, as I noted in April 2008:

If James Wolcott is being paid by the word, his 3,700-word screed in the June issue of Vanity Fair is the Crime of the Century. The article is presented as describing the “vicious Clinton-versus-Obama rupture at Daily Kos” and thus an analysis of “a party-wide split” among Democrats, but it’s really nothing of the kind. In fact, it’s nothing at all. There is no reporting and very little that could be called research. Just massive paragraph after paragraph of florid prose.

So far as anyone can tell, Wolcott never ventures outside Manhattan and can’t be bothered to do any actual reporting. He has attempted to remain “relevant” by adding a blog that nobody reads to his duties at Vanity Fair, whose publisher apparently hired him as a favor to Wolcott’s wife, an editor for the magazine.

Wolcott’s most memorable contribution to the online world was a 2004 post in which he cheered for killer hurricanes — “Mother Nature’s fist of fury, Gaia’s stern rebuke” – to hit America, and thereby inadvertently helped re-elect President Bush

Last year, Wolcott somehow inveigled Doubleday into publishing his memoir. Nobody read that either, mainly because the author is so notoriously dull, but perhaps also because readers had been warned via a New York Times review that Wolcott “devotes 50 genuflecting pages” of his 258-page memoir to film critic Pauline Kael.

No, I’m not kidding. Really.

Yes, I think that about covers it, and I got to repost Stacy’s shot at Charles “Mr. Jazzy McBikeshorts” Johnson. Of course, you likely have never heard of Charles Johnson either have you? Well, he is a lot like Wolcott, only not as boring. Not that Johnson is not boring, he is, but Wolcott is to boring what Janet Reno was to homely. As Bill Quick notes today

Sitting around shoving red-hot railroad spikes up my nose would be more fun than blogging about James Wolcott. Or Charles Johnson. In fact, the only thing I can think of that would be less fun than blogging about this pair of tools would be being forced to read their dreck.

Amen!

Zions Trumpet

Scurrilous, untrustworthy, publicity-seeking fraud? Sounds like Trump to me, or Ann Coulter, take your pick

speaking at CPAC in Washington D.C. on Februar...

Image via Wikipedia

Stacy McCain used these words to describe Trump and I must agree, although I have called Trump a despicable publicity whore whose ego is as out of control as his hair. But, basically, Stacy and I agree. But  Stacy also ponders the question I ask every day, Has everyone gone crazy?

How many influential conservatives now supporting Newt have previously denounced Donald Trump as a scurrilous, untrustworthy, publicity-seeking fraud? The number is certainly larger than zero, but we will now be expected to forget about those earlier denunciations and instead pretend that Trump’s endorsement is the Good Housekeeping Seal of Conservative Approval.

As I continued checking the headlines, the news just kept getting crazier and crazier:

The Newt Gingrich campaign is gearing up to challenge the results of the Florida Republican presidential primary based on the Republican National Committee’s own rules which state that no contest can be winner-take-all prior to April 1, 2012.

Does anybody else remember how, in 2000, we all hated Florida Democrats for trying to change the rules of the election after the election was over?

Then there was Ann Coulter praising RomneyCare’s individual mandate— the same kind of individual mandate that conservatives are demanding that the Supreme Court declare unconstitutional.

English: Ann Coulter at the 2011 Time 100 gala.

Image via Wikipedia

Ah yes Ann Coulter. Is she crazy? No, she is just exposing herself for what she has always been. A publicity whore. Ann is not, I fear, that much different from Trump. Sure she wears heels, and a bit less make up than Trump does, and has slightly better hair. But, aside from those differences, Coulter could be Trump in drag. The obnoxious voices, the over inflated egos, the grossly exagerated sense of self-importance, and the complete lack of any real credibility. Yep! I had long believed that Coulter was over the top in her self-promotion, and was more about selling books, and getting her face on TV than really defending Conservative principles. But her idiotic defenses of Romney have been so over the top, that one has to ponder what she is getting out of this?

Coulter has praised Romneycare now, and ignored Romney’s self-admitted admiration for health care mandates. She has decided that Romney was the ONLY candidate that could beat Obama, only months after she declared Romney unelectable! She has attacked good Conservatives like Santorum and Perry in untruthful ways. She has even bashed the Tea Party, and the voters of South Carolina with the race card. All to endorse a candidate that was the least Conservative in the GOP field. So, I must ask not why she is doing this, but how much is she doing it for? What is in it for Ann if Romney is president? Sorry, I just have to wonder.

Maybe a new reality show starring Trump and Coulter together? It could be called Everyone Look at Me, I am Important! Coming to network TV this fall?

Matt wonders if possibly Coulter has been replaced by some alien pod. Hmmmmm

Of Porn and Politics, it is all about who gets screwed

Smitty of The Other McCain writes about the merging of politics and porn.

I can tell you that I would find the notion of being in pornography rather hellish. But then, I’m a romantic, in addition to a social conservative. And treating sexuality like, say, dry cleaning, as I expect these ‘professionals’ do, fails to inspire.

I would agree, with this. No matter what your job is you eventually become desensitized to it. If this were not true them medical examiners could never last could they? Nor could many other folks. And yes sex should be fun, think chicken suits and fly swatters, it should be special, and it should certainly be private.

No, these garden variety whores are likely to venture into politics, I reckon. Progress means destroying first the notion of private property, then privacy itself. If vibrant life in the womb doesn’t have rights, why do people retain any upon exit from the womb? Is it really ‘fair’ that people get to decide what they eat, and with whom they swap fluids? Think of the vast capacity for employment when pornographers regulate sexuality and reproduction. Ginsburg will be so happy.

The larger point Smitty makes, the point that is so vital to grasp, is that once we allow one segment of the population, in this case the unborn, to have their natural rights to be restricted, or denied, then every person’s rights are in peril

This has GOT to be RAAAAACIST!

Or SEXXXXXIST, or some other “ist” Of course if you just read the headline “Swarmin’ With Mormons” it might not seem RAAAAACIST, but since Stacy McCain wrote it, and since he is, like me, not down with the establishment, and is therefore not down with Mitt, well………….. you know what the Karl Roves of the GOP will say don’t you?

If you don’t vote for Mitt, why do you hate America? That was the fundamental theme of Friday’s super-patriotic rally for former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney at an industrial warehouse here.

After a three-hour drive from Jacksonville, I arrived slightly late and was stunned by the size of the crowd, as evidenced by the cars parked streetside and in every parking lot near the Lanco & Harris warehouse. Four TV satellite trucks were parked near the loading dock, and as I walked up the ramp into the warehouse, some cranky geezer was onstage ranting about how he was fed up with all these darned debates.

“Nineteen of ‘em! I’m tired of the mud wrestling!” the geezer said, provoking applause from the crowd of about 500 packed into the warehouse. As I got closer to the stage, I recognized the cranky geezer as Sen. John McCain, who then said: “Hey, you kids, get off my lawn!”

OK, maybe I just imagined that last quote, which didn’t show up in Maggie Haberman’s report for the Politico, but I’m sure I got the trademark cranky-geezer tone just right.

Exactly why the Romney campaign wants this elderly loser campaigning for them, I don’t know. McCain lost Florida by 200,000 votes four years ago. But there are lots of grumpy old folks in Florida who are registered Republicans, and maybe having McCain stumping for Mitt generates some sympathy or something.

Stacy knows, as do most of us, that Mitt will win Florida, and that could pave the way for the presidential showdown no Tea Party person, or real Conservative wants. YEP! The Hair vs the Teleprompter! Obamacare vs Romneycare!

Another thing, that just crossed my mind, what if  John Kerry were the president? Imagine him debating Mitt. The Flip flopping would be off the chain. What an opportunity for a pancake house to host a presidential debate.

“Welcome to tonight’s presidential debate, sponsored by Flips House of Flapjacks, home of the the world famous Flip-Flop Flapjack!”

But, not this year it seems, not quite enough of $$$$$$$$$$$, but maybe next year. One of the biggest reasons I would like to go is to get a picture with Michelle Malkin, my blogging role model, and to meet the likes of Bob Belvedere, Stacy McCain, and a host of other fellow bloggers.

Smitty, of The Other McCain is going, and I would love to have a beer, or three, with him. He is of like mind on many issues, and one of the very best bloggers out there. This morning Smitty offered up his thoughts on CPAC

I bring up Niklas because we’re planning to bring him down for at least a fly-by. Looking at the speaker list, I hope to get him a photo op with Sarah Palin. The other attendee that I’m looking forward to meeting is Daniel Hannan. I am jealous of Niklas already, as he is far better looking than I. No, I’m actually not jealous. Rather, I’m motivated to work hard at fixing the cesspool of American politics, so that, when he’s my age, he has no legitimate cause for anger at my for not trying harder.

Yep! Cesspool is the image I see when I think of American politics. And like Smitty, wanting to fix it for his young son, I would love my niece, Savannah Grace, to inherit an America which still honors our constitution. Yep, that is why I do this blog, because I think it the best way to have the biggest influence on taking America in the right direction.

TSA VS Rand Paul

I listened to Paul getting interviewed by Hannity on the drive home today. Smitty weighs in

How do you work in an airport adjacent to Kentucky, where CNN blares 24/7, and not know the junior U.S. Senator from the neighbor state?

The White House is standing by the Transportation Security Administration in its standoff with Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and his father, Republican presidential candidate Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas).
The elder Paul called the TSA a “police state” Monday after Rand Paul was reportedly detained by TSA after he refused to take a pat-down from TSA officials at the Nashville International Airport.
White House press secretary Jay Carney said Monday that he didn’t have any reaction to Paul’s “police state” comments.
But Carney sided with the TSA saying, “I think it is absolutely essential that we take necessary actions to ensure that air travel is safe.”

Stuck on Stoopit! Typical government incompetence. It is not the fault of the TSA agents. They are simply following orders. Dafly, their orders come from morons. This stupidity could ONLY come from DC!
