Former DHS Secretary, 3 Other Top Obama Officials Transmitted Sensitive Documents Via Unsecured Email Accounts – Judicial Watch

Judicial Watch today announced it has obtained 216 pages of documents containing official, sensitive emails of Jeh Johnson and three other top Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officials sent through private, unsecured, webmail-based email accounts. The documents include emails discussing high-level meetings Johnson was to have with the Kuwaiti ambassador and Saudi Arabian Interior Ministry officials, as well as a West African $4.5 million online consumer fraud scam.

The document production came in response to a May 23, 2016, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit filed by Judicial Watch after Homeland Security failed to respond to a December 29, 2015, FOIA request seeking emails “relating to official United States Government business sent to or from” Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson and three other top Homeland Security officials that used “non-‘.gov’” email addresses (Judicial Watch, Inc., v. United States Department of Homeland Security (No. l:l6-cv-00967)).

This is the first production of emails sent through private, web-based email accounts of Johnson, Deputy Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, Chief of Staff Christian Marrone and General Counsel Stevan Bunnell that were also sent to government email accounts…

Two Dozen Companies Leaving California Over Leftist Economic Policies – KCRA

Two dozen California companies have said they are tired of the business-bashing in Sacramento, along with the high taxes – and they are now threatening to leave the state.

The day after Proposition 30 passed, triggering $6 billion in new annual taxes, Arizona launched a campaign to lure some of California’s top companies.

KCRA 3 has learned that 24 chief executives are flying to Phoenix, Ariz., to explore the land of lower taxes and a much friendlier business environment.

“We can deliver the mayors, we can deliver the CEOs, we can deliver the legislative support,” said Barry Broome, president of the Greater Phoenix Economic Council.

Broome launched his campaign to recruit California CEOs one day after voters in the Golden State approved Prop 30 last November, and the campaign is working.

Broome said 24 CEOs already have committed to leaving California.

“You start sending the wrong message to those folks and they start voting with their feet,” Broome said.

Dave Albertson is one of the people who found greater opportunities in the Grand Canyon State.

Albertson recently moved his marketing and technology company, Wholesalefund, from California to Arizona, where he now does business in a Scottsdale office park…

New York State Worker Racks Up Nearly $180K In Overtime Pay – New York Post

A state technology worker more than tripled her salary last year by running up $179,930 in overtime, records show.

Deborah Casais walked off with total earnings of $247,757 working for the Office of Information Technology Services despite a base salary of $67,827.

That made the Albany-area woman the state overtime champ for 2016.

Casais did not respond to a message left at her home.

Her co-worker Peter Walton made $135,109.18 in overtime on top of the same $67,827 base salary, the records show.

A woman who answered the phone at his home in Latham, an Albany suburb, said he was not there. She refused to take a message and hung up.

Walton’s overtime take, however, was just the fourth highest in the state, with two mental-health center ranking second and third among the state’s top OT earners.

Denise Williams, a treatment assistant at the Kirby Psychiatric Center on Wards Island off Manhattan, pulled in $167,122.13 in OT, on top of her base salary of $71,072…

Noted RINO Squish Says It’s “Highly Likely” The Senate Intelligence Committee Will Investigate General Flynn – Townhall

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell told reporters on Tuesday that it is “highly likely” the Senate Intelligence Committee will investigate former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn for his dealings with Russia and comments to President-elect Mike Pence.

“The Intelligence Committee is already looking at Russian involvement in our election. Sen. Blunt has indicated that it’s highly likely they’d want to take a look at this episode as well,” he said. McConnell also noted that the committee has the power to “look at whatever they choose to.”

On Tuesday, White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer said that Flynn was asked to resign by President Donald Trump.

“We got to a point not based on a legal issue, but based on a trust issue with a level of trust between the president and General Flynn had eroded to the point where he felt he had to make a change. The president was very concerned that General Flynn had misled the vice president and others,” Spicer said…

Kim Jong Un’s Estranged Brother Murdered In Malaysia – Bloomberg

The oldest half-brother of North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un was murdered in Malaysia on Monday, according to a South Korean government official.

Kim Jong Nam, the eldest son of former leader Kim Jong Il, had lived outside the country for years. The official, who asked not to be identified due to government policy, said poison was involved in his death, but provided no other details.

Two unidentified women killed Kim Jong Nam at Kuala Lumpur’s airport with a poison needle before fleeing in a taxi, YTN television station reported, citing a government source.

Malaysia police chief Khalid Abu Bakar said in a statement a 46 year-old North Korean male sought assistance at the airport but died en route to hospital. His travel document identified him as Kim Chol, he said, adding an investigation is underway and a post mortem request made.

Kim Jong Nam fell out of favor with his father after he was caught trying to enter Japan using a fake Dominican Republic passport in 2001, according to Japanese reporter Yoji Gomi, who wrote a book about him. Kim Jong Nam had been critical of Kim Jong Un, reportedly saying in 2012 that he “won’t last long” because of his youth and inexperience. The two brothers have different mothers…

“I didn’t know until I heard from our colleague that the tweet of General Flynn today was ‘scapegoat.’ Scapegoat, do you know what a scapegoat is…?” she asked during a press conference. “The inference to be drawn from his statement is that other people have blame that should be shared in all of this.”

Trump Administration Sanctions Venezuelan Vice President For Drug Trafficking – USA Today

The Trump administration imposed sanctions Monday against Venezuelan Vice President Tareck El Aissami, accusing him of playing a significant role in international drug trafficking.

The Treasury Department has been investigating El Aissami for years over his alleged relations with Venezuela’s largest convicted drug trafficker and a Middle Eastern militant group, resulting in the decision to designate him a narcotics trafficker under the federal “Kingpin Act.”

The department said he orchestrated drug shipments from a Venezuelan air base and multiple seaports, some weighing more than 2,200 pounds per shipment.

The department also sanctioned Samark Lopez Bello, a Venezeulan businessman accused of being El Aissami’s frontman. Lopez Bello helped launder money through a network of 13 companies in the U.S., Venezuela, Panama, the British Virgin Islands and the United Kingdom.

Treasury officials would not comment on whether the Justice Department will seek indictments against the two men. But the sanctions include freezing all their U.S.-based assets, which include a twin-engine Gulfstream jet, and blocking all their U.S.-based companies and properties…

Here Are The Top 3 Most Likely Replacements For General Flynn – Daily Signal

President Donald Trump is considering three former high-ranking military officials for the post of national security adviser, after the Monday resignation of Michael Flynn.

Trump is considering retired Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg, retired Gen. David Petraeus, and retired Adm. Robert Harward to replace Flynn. Harward is reportedly the favorite to succeed Flynn. He served as a deputy to then-Gen. James Mattis while both were in U.S. Central Command and does not carry the controversy or age of the other picks.

“There are a handful of good options, but it’s clear he’s at the top of the list,” a senior administration official told Politico Tuesday.

Both Kellogg and Petraeus served critical roles in the U.S. war in Iraq. Kellogg served as a major figure in the 2004 Coalition Provisional Authority, which served as the government of Iraq until the nationwide elections in 2005. He is currently serving as the interim national security adviser to Trump, served as one of Flynn’s deputies in the White House, and is currently 72 years old. Kellogg was also one of the early backers of the Trump campaign, and served as a foreign policy adviser early on…

Hungarian PM Cracks Down On Refugee Invasion, Calls Out George Soros For Using “Tons Of Money And Heavy Artillery” To Influence Politics – 100PercentFedUp

Will anyone our U.S. government call out and expose the effect 187 radical organizations directly funded by leftist George Soros have on our nation? When will our elected officials start exposing his influence Soros’ large tentacles have on influencing the Democrat Party and anarchist groups in America, leading to riots and unrest by paid protesters in America? Will the world continue to cower when it comes to the secret dealings of radical globalist George Soros, who is fighting for open-borders in Europe and in the U.S.? Or will we start to really expose him by openly discussing his actions and revealing the truth about his “seemingly benign” organizations like one brave Hungarian prime minister is doing?

Hungary’s populist prime minister on Friday lashed out against billionaire financier George Soros, claiming he and groups backed by him want to secretly influence the country’s politics.

In his annual state of the nation speech, Viktor Orban said groups partly funded by Soros, who was born in Hungary, needed to be made transparent and identifiable.

“Large-bodied predators are swimming here in the waters. This is the trans-border empire of George Soros, with tons of money and international heavy artillery,” said Orban, who received a Soros-funded scholarship as Hungary was transitioning from communism to democracy in the late 1980s…

600 Illegal Aliens Arrested In 11 States Over Past Week – Daily Mail

Hundreds of illegal immigrants across 11 states were arrested last week as part of targeted operations, federal immigration officials revealed on Sunday.

A series of raids by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers saw around 600 people apprehended.

The agency said the operations were ‘routine’.

President Donald Trump took to Twitter on Sunday morning to proclaim his commitment to a crackdown on crime.

He tweeted: ‘The crackdown on illegal criminals is merely the keeping of my campaign promise. Gang members, drug dealers & others are being removed!’

Immigration was a key platform of the billionaire’s presidential campaign before his election in November 2016.

The president plans to build a wall across the Mexican border to prevent to stop what he calls the ‘unprecedented surge’ of illegal migrants from Central America.

The raids are the first coordinated efforts by ICE under the Trump administration to arrest targeted undocumented migrants…

Brazil’s Two Largest Newspapers Forced By Government To Delete Story Embarrassing To President – The Intercept

A major assault on basic press freedom occurred today in Brazil, perpetrated by the government of President Michel Temer, his wife, Marcela, and a Brazilian judge. As a result, the nation’s two largest newspapers – Folha de S.Paulo and O Globo – were forced to delete a news article that each had published about a matter of great public interest.

Because one of the goals in creating The Intercept was to defend and vindicate press freedom around the world, we are publishing the censored materials so that the public can see them (see below). Few things are more dangerous than politicians and courts joining to tell newspapers what they can and cannot report, and we will do what we can to rectify that attack on the public’s right to know.

The case in question arises out of the attempted blackmail of the first lady and the president by a hacker who last April cloned her iPhone and stole all of its data. The hacker, Silvonei Jose de Jesus Souza, was sentenced to five years and 11 months in prison for the attempted blackmail, after he demanded that Marcela pay him R$ 300,000 (US$ 90,000) to avoid disclosure of the materials. He was also convicted of having used his access to her iPhone to defraud her brother out of a R$ 15,000 (US$ 4,500) payment…

Georgetown University Professor Defends Slavery, Rape Under Islam – WorldNetDaily

.
A Georgetown University professor who teaches about Islamic civilization delivered a lecture on slavery to a gathering at the International Institute for Islamic Thought – an organization with suspected ties to the Muslim Brotherhood – and told the attendees that modern society tends to needlessly agonize over the morality of owning people as property. Why?

Because “there is no such thing as slavery,” professor Jonathan Brown said, the Investigative Project reported.

Brown, a 39-year-old convert to Islam, read from his paper, “Slavery and Islam” about the “Problems of Slavery” during his lecture. Following, he fielded several questions from the audience, offering up such food for thought as his view that slavery cannot be defined as an outright evil because there are so many different kinds – slavery based on religion versus gender, for example…

Senate Confirms Steve Mnuchin For Treasury Secretary – Breitbart

The successful confirmation of President Donald Trump’s cabinet nominees continued when senators voted 53-to-47 to confirm Steven Mnuchin as Treasury Secretary Monday.

Mnuchin is a Wall Street financier, who has worked for Goldman Sachs and ran his own investment funds and vehicles. In the 2016 presidential campaign, Mnuchin was the national finance chairman for the president’s campaign.

After the “Great Recession,” in 2009, Mnuchin and his partners and investors purchased IndyMac, a troubled California bank that was in the center of the real estate boom and bust. Six years later, after Mnuchin renamed the bank OneWest and worked through its issues, he sold it off. However, Democrats targeted the way Mnuchin and his team worked through the issues, claiming that he was insensitive to people losing their homes because they could not keep up with mortgages from the old IndyMac bank.

The chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, Sen. Orrin Hatch (R.-Utah), said on the Senate floor shortly before the vote that these allegations were unfair and untrue.

Hatch said there was a double standard for nominations. For a Republican nominee any charge, no matter how flimsy, was enough for Democrats to oppose a nominee. But, for Democratic nominees, no charge ever seemed enough…

United Airlines Pilot Removed From Plane After Ranting To Passengers About Her Divorce, Trump And Clinton – Daily Mail

An unidentified female United Airlines pilot was removed from a plane before a flight from Austin to San Francisco Saturday evening.

United flight 455 was scheduled to depart Austin–Bergstrom International Airport at 5:02pm but was delayed for more than two hours after the pilot went on what passengers described as a ‘rant’.

The pilot came into the cabin wearing ‘street clothes’ and talked to passengers over the intercom about her divorce and the presidential election, passenger Randy Reiss told KVUE.

Reiss said the pilot also mentioned that she was going to be on Oprah.

Passengers said the pilot called President Donald Trump and Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton ‘a*******’.

Some of the pilot’s comments rattled passengers, causing them to question her ability to fly the plane.

‘She said, “Sorry I’m late, the reason I’m late is I’m going through a divorce” Reiss told BuzzFeed News.

‘It quickly went from playful to scary’.

At first the pilot seemed friendly, said Reiss, but things took an awkward turn when she pointed out an interracial couple sitting in first class…

Obama’s Sick New Job With Anti-American Organization To Sabotage Trump – Mad World News

Barack Obama isn’t wasting any time going after President Donald Trump. In fact, he’s starting his new job with a hardcore anti-American, anti-Trump organization. Obama is going back to his roots in community organizing, and he isn’t hiding his agenda. However, what he is hiding will shock you, and we’ve uncovered everything the mainstream media won’t tell you about his new job. This will completely piss you off.

Obama’s been working behind the scenes to set up what will effectively be a shadow government to not only protect his threatened legacy but to sabotage the incoming Trump administration and its popular “America First” agenda.

Using the organization Organizing for Action (OFA), Obama intends to organize anti-Trump agitators like we saw at UC Berkeley, and the end game is to sabotage Trump’s presidency. Far-fetched? Not if you know Obama’s real passion, which is to make America a socialist state with no borders.

The New York Post reports, [Obama is] doing it through a network of leftist nonprofits led by Organizing for Action. Normally you’d expect an organization set up to support a politician and his agenda to close up shop after that candidate leaves office, but not Obama’s OFA. Rather, it’s gearing up for battle, with a growing war chest and more than 250 offices across the country…
