The political buzz around Queensland, Australia these days is centered on a young parliamentary candidate who has managed to make more gaffes than Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi combined – and do it all within a single interview.
Things started off badly for Stephanie Banister, a 27-year-old welder running for a seat in Rankin, Queensland, when she described Islam as being a country during her interview with CNN affiliate 7 News. Instead of correcting the blunder, she piled one on top of another, according to CNN.
“I don’t oppose Islam as a country,” Banister began, “but I do feel that their laws should not be welcome here in Australia.”
Then she added, “Less than 2% of Australians follow haram.” Did she mean the Quran, or the Muslim dietary laws? She wasn’t at all clear, but nonetheless plowed ahead to offer her ignorance of other religions.
“Jews aren’t under haram, they have their own religion which follows Jesus Christ,” she asserted.
After muffing up the world’s religions, she decided to tackle Australian national issues, noting its disability insurance program was “working at the moment.” It is not set to begin until 2016, according to Australian 7 News.
Almost immediately after it aired, the interview went viral – worldwide – an inauspicious beginning for a young pol. Shortly afterwards, she withdrew her candidacy, claiming to be the victim of malicious editing.
“With the way Channel Seven edited my interview, I was left quite the fool,” Banister said.
Banister is now being referred to in Queensland as the former candidate for Parliament, her campaign having lasted a total of 48 hours. May I suggest she consider moving to the United States? The Democratic Party would welcome her with open arms as one of its own.

Joe Biden proves once again that the Left judges morality on the basis of their own agenda. If something helps them further their agenda, it is moral. If it hurts their push for more Leftism, then it is immoral.
Vice President Joe Biden on Tuesday bashed voting rights requirements — calling them “immoral, callous” — and warned of political consequences for those who try to impose barriers to casting a ballot.
“To me it is the most immoral, callous thing that can be done, the idea of making it more difficult to vote,” Biden said at the annual gala dinner of the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies, a minority-focused public policy organization.
The vice president pointed to data indicating that in 2011 and 2012 at least 180 bills in 41 states were introduced that aimed to stiffen requirements for voting — voter identification measures, for example.
“If there’s one thing people who want to restrict the vote didn’t understand, they didn’t understand what it means when you tell someone, ‘I’m going to make it difficult for you to vote,’” Biden said, appearing to take a swipe at Republicans. “It means, and I was certain and Barack and I talked about it, you did too, that it guaranteed people would show. The more they attempt to restrict the right of minorities, the greater the determination and the stronger the will to turn out, and that’s exactly what everyone saw in 2012.”
I hope no Girl Scouts try to sell Crazy Uncle Joe any cookies, his door can be damned dangerous
I’m glad the Girl Scouts are almost done with cookie sales for the year. Thanks to Joe Biden, selling Thin Mints door-to-door could get you killed.
A Virginia man who followed Vice President Joe Biden’s advice to fire through doors isnow facing criminal charges.
Vice President Joe Biden told Field & Stream magazine in an interview published Monday, “[if] you want to keep someone away from your house, just fire the shotgun through the door.”
Coincidentally, a 22-year-old man in Virginia Beach, Va., was charged Monday with reckless handling of a firearm after doing just that a couple days earlier.
Local TV station WAVY 10 reports that the man observed two masked men leaning into his bedroom window. The men allegedly had weapons and told him to close his bedroom door. He stepped outside of his bedroom and did as instructed, then fired his shotgun through the closed door and then several more times at the window.
Had Trevor Lamont Snowden actually hit anyone, his charges could have been upgraded to felonies.
This is the second time in days that the Vice President has advised citizens to commit crimes—potentially felony crimes—by dangerously and recklessly discharging firearms.
In the first instance, he advised firing “two blasts” into the air, despite the fact that shots fired into the air must come back to earth, and when they do they have the power to kill. Four-year-old Marquel Peters was killed by someone firing a bullet into the air, as was 15-year-old Rachel Yoder. Yoder’s killer was charged with reckless homicide.
In the second instance, Biden advised firing shots through doors. Firing through doors, without knowing who or what is on the other side, is grounds for homicide charges in every state in the union and in nearly every country overseas. Olympian Oscar Pistorius has been charged with murder in South Africa, after firing shots through an interior door that killed his girlfriend. He likely would have faced murder charges even if the person on the other side of the door had been an intruder.
If anyone could possibly be a worse spokesman than Biden for gun control, I cannot imagine who it would be. The man is a buffoon, a walking, talking gaffe factory. But, what else can you expect when you ask anyone to defend a position like the gun grabbing Left takes? They are trying to seem as non-threatening to gun owners as possible. That is a scam of course, we know what the Left wants, and that is to take American’s guns away. We know this because that is what Leftism ALWAYS does. It disarms the people. But, they send idiots like Joe Biden out there to say things that make them look like they want to defend the right to both own guns and defend yourself, when, in truth they want the exact opposite. So, of course Biden will stick both feet and part of his left arm in his mouth, how can he help but do that?
While we are at it, let me remind all of you that when police chiefs talk about the need for tighter gun restrictions remember that they are politicians, not real cops! They are no more than tools of the Left, here is a classic example
Well, someone get a Gaffe-O-Meter ready, but I find this interesting because this the rhetoric Biden is talking
Vice President Biden delivered a message for rural America: He’s coming to talk about gun violence.
“I’m coming, I’m coming,” Biden said here after saying he’d read a skeptical comment in the local newspaper about the White House outreach to rural areas. “The one thing I want to make clear is this is, this message of rational gun safety is a message that will be embraced by rural communities as well as urban communities simply because it makes sense. But we cannot wait. The still voices of those children require us, requires us to speak now.”
And this is what the American people think about theeffectiveness of gun control laws
In a Pew Research Poll listing 21 things the public believes should be government priorities for 2013, passing more gun laws is number 18 out of 21.
The majority of Americans simply do not see gun control as a pressing concern problem like President Obama and the Democrats do.
Instead, the American people are worried about the economy (first on the list), jobs (second), the deficit (third), and terrorism (fourth).
So, maybe it is not about the will of the people, but the fetish for control that Democrats have. Speaking of control, guess which issue is dead last on the list. Go on, guess, here is a hint, Al Gore would be very upset.
Good old Joe Biden, sometimes his gaffes are simply him letting the truth slip out!
Via Beltway Confidential:
Vice President Joe Biden was perhaps a little too candid on the subject of new gun control laws when talking to reporters Thursday after a meeting with Senate Democrats in the Capitol.
“Nothing we’re going to do is going to fundamentally alter or eliminate the possibility of another mass shooting or guarantee that we will bring gun deaths down to a thousand a year from what we’re at now,” Biden said, according to a Politico report.
From the mouths of babes and morons……
During the National Rifle Association’s meeting with Vice President Joe Biden and the White House gun violence task force, the vice president said the Obama administration does not have the time to fully enforce existing gun laws.
Jim Baker, the NRA representative present at the meeting, recalled the vice president’s words during an interview with The Daily Caller: “And to your point, Mr. Baker, regarding the lack of prosecutions on lying on Form 4473s, we simply don’t have the time or manpower to prosecute everybody who lies on a form, that checks a wrong box, that answers a question inaccurately.”
Submitting false information on an ATF Form 4473 – required for the necessary background check to obtain a firearm – is a felony punishable by up to ten years in prison, depending on prior convictions and a judge’s discretion, according to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
Baker, the NRA’s director of federal affairs, told TheDC that he was given five minutes to present the NRA’s concerns and the approach the group saw as being the most effective to prevent another massacre like the Newtown, Conn. shooting. During those five minutes, he said, he mentioned the need to prosecute existing gun laws.
He pointed to the low number of prosecutions for information falsification and the relatively low felony prosecution rate for gun crimes.
Biden was apparently unmoved by Baker’s concern.
In 2010, prosecutors considered just 22 cases of information falsification, according to a 2012 report to the Department of Justice by the Regional Justice Information Service. Forty additional background-check cases ended up before prosecutors for reasons related to unlawful gun possession.
In all, prosecutors pursued just 44 of those 62 cases. More than 72,600 applications were denied on the basis of a background check.
“We think it is problematic when the administration takes lightly the prosecutions under existing gun laws and yet does not seem to have a problem promoting a whole host of other gun laws,” Baker told TheDC.
“If we are not going to enforce the laws that are on the books, it not only engenders disrespect for the law but it makes law-abiding gun owners wonder why we are going through this exercise we are going through now,” he added.
Gun prosecutions in 2011 were down 35 percent from the previous administration’s peak in 2004, according to Justice Department data compiled by the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse at Syracuse University.
Chris Cox, the executive director of the NRA’s Institute for Legislative Action, said he was shocked by the administration’s lack of interest in pursuing individuals who lied to obtain a firearm.
“They don’t have time to pursue people who are dangerous, who aren’t supposed to get guns, and the message they have sent is literally ‘Good luck, go get them elsewhere,’” Cox said in an interview with TheDC.
Cox reiterated that he believes the real issues the country needs to deal with are mental health and crime, and he stressed the importance of enforcing and prosecuting existing laws.
“You can talk all you want,” Cox said, “but until there is a will to follow through, then it is literally just going to paper over the problem and guarantee that bad people continue to have access to firearms and good people will be blamed for it.”
Vice President Biden’s press office did not respond to requests for comment.
I would pray not, but, would it surprise me, given this president’s record of ignoring the will of the people, and the letter of the Constitution, well……
Well, that is what this and several other reports say floating around on the web. Here’s the Weekly Standard:
Vice President Joe Biden revealed that President Barack Obama might use an executive order to deal with guns.“The president is going to act,” said Biden, giving some comments to the press before a meeting with victims of gun violence. “There are executives orders, there’s executive action that can be taken. We haven’t decided what that is yet. But we’re compiling it all with the help of the attorney general and the rest of the cabinet members as well as legislative action that we believe is required.”Biden said that this is a moral issue and that “it’s critically important that we act.”
The Other McCain notes yet another gaffetastic moment from Crazy Uncle Joe
During a campaign stop in Ohio on Wednesday, Vice President Joe Biden forgot where he was. Again.
“I mean literally,” Biden said (probably meaning “figuratively”), “ladies and gentlemen, this is a guy [Mitt Romney] who’s running all the ads here in Iowasaying that he’s going to get tough on China.”
“I’ve had the great privilege of being able to be in this state now, I think it’s my 25th event (I’m not sure), but I’ve been all over this state.
The man has no idea what state he is in, what a joke
During a campaign stop in Wisconsin on Friday, Vice President Joe Biden falsely argued that Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion provider in the United States, can’t perform abortions.
“Now these guys pledge that they’re gonna de-fund Planned Parenthood, which under law can’t perform any abortions,” Biden said, drawing supporting boos from the crowd.
The statement is misleading no matter how you look at it. What is uncertain is whether this is just the latest Biden gaffe or if he actually believed Planned Parenthood doesn’t administer abortions when he made the remark.
According to the White House, Biden merely misspoke. The Obama campaign moved quickly to clean up his misstep, claiming the vice president was actually referring to a ban that prevents the federal government from funding abortions.
Last night, I watched the debate between Joe Biden and Paul Ryan. No doubt Biden was better than Obama in the Denver debate. Biden at least appeared to be engaged. He was feisty some might say, he was assertive others might say. To me, and, according to those I watched the debate with, he was rude, condescending, and acted like a bully. Biden did not make any glaring gaffes, but, how he conducted himself might have been more damaging. His over the top smiles, really creepy smiles to be honest, his constant interruptions, which the moderator did nothing to stop, and his other facial gymnastics made him look like a man with nothing to say. Nothing of any substance anyway. Biden dished out the same old talking points, the same old fear and smear, and the same bold class warfare rhetoric we have come to expect from the Democratic Party, which I am thinking of re-branding the Hollow Party.
Some, I am sure, loved Biden, and his ass hat act. Democrats loved it, and the Liberal base loved it, but I have serious doubts whether or not the undecided voters were digging Joe Biden’s deplorable behavior. Maybe Biden was trying to be like Romney and dominate his opponent. If that was his strategy, he failed. Romney debated Obama with class, he was not rude, he did not make faces, or interrupt continuously. Romney used substance, and shined. Biden played the role of a thug, and that showed big time.
Others also watched, and rated the two debaters, Big Government pointed out that the media observers, the ones who are honest anyway, were not impressed with Biden’s Joker act Among the best tweets were Piers Morgan who tweeted Joe, seriously, STOP SMIRKING. This is serious stuff. Be Vice-Presidential. Erik Wemple of the Washington Post added this Biden really pushing it with his interruptions. And Phillip Klein summed up my feelings quite well If Biden’s strategy was to come off like a complete jerk, he’s succeeding brilliantly.
Jim Picht of the Washington Times wrote this scathing indictment
Biden maintained a feral grin throughout, often laughing and smirking when Ryan spoke. His intent may have been to intimidate Ryan or to make him look like a mere boy, but his demeanor was more Joker than vice-presidential. He went back and forth between contemptuous and deranged in a performance that, combined with his frequent interruptions of Ryan (over 80 according to one TV pundit), was both fascinating and slightly disturbing.
Biden displayed a certain command of the issues, but he laced his arguments with red herrings. His performance carried more than a whiff of the “Chewbacca Defense”: “Look at me. I’m the vice president defending a failed administration, and I’m talkin’ about Chewbacca! Does that make sense? Ladies and gentlemen, I am not making any sense! None of this makes sense! And so you have to remember, when you’re in that voting booth deliberatin’ and conjugatin’ the Emancipation Proclamation, does it make sense? No! Ladies and gentlemen, it does not make sense! If Chewbacca lives on Endor, you must reelect Barack Obama! Thank you.”
Lots more media reaction at Politico
The Other McCain was pretty happy with what he calls a “Crushing Ryan Victory”
Matt at Conservative Hideout scored the debate issue by issue and concludes Ryan won, but wonders if undecideds will be swayed
All in all, knowing the issues, I think Ryan won. But, the debate is really all about convincing the previously unconvinced, so did they go to Ryan’s fact based presentation, or was Biden’s more emotional, yet inaccurate portrayal the best sell?
I expected “table-pounding atmospherics” from Biden but I didn’t expect him to act like a total jackhole for fully 90 minutes. Give him credit for knowing his target audience, though: His task tonight was to get the left excited again after Obama fell into a semi-coma in Denver, and evincing utter disdain for Ryan — grimacing, shouting, laughing inappropriately, constantly interrupting, the total jackhole experience — is just what the doctor ordered. He might have irritated independents and undecideds, but probably not so much that it’ll change people’s votes. The Democrats needed someone to go out there and clown for liberals, and if there’s one thing this guy knows, it’s clowning.
I had the same thoughts. Democrats will eat Joe’s antics up, independents and undecideds not so much. I do think, though, that Biden’s antics will be enough to turn a number of those voters away
Here is one voter who summed up Biden perfectly
The RNC jumped on Biden’s behavior with this ad, which I think is very effective
Some poll numbers that show that Biden did nothing except excite his base
BREAKING: CNN-ORC post-debate poll of Registered Voters: 48% said Ryan won. 44% said Biden won. Sampling error: +-5%.
CNN/ORC POLL October 3 DEBATE WATCHERS Who Was More In Touch With Problems of People Like You? Ryan 51%, Biden 44%
CNN/ORC POLL October 3 DEBATE WATCHERS Who Was More Likeable? Ryan 53% Biden 43%

Good old Crazy Uncle Joe speaks volumes, without knowing it
Note that Biden says, at the end there, that Romney plans to raise taxes with those tax cuts. What a buffoon.
Well, obviously, we know who has been in the White House these last four years, so, expect the GOP to make an ad using Biden’s own words. But, what he says about Romney’s tax plan is false, it is a lie, and he knows it. Anyone familiar with Romney’s plan knows it is a lie. But, remember this, there IS a big tax increase coming to the middle class, it is called Obamacare!
Stacy McCain seems to believe that Biden will be out as VP soon, and gives some pretty good reasons why.
Obama is about winning. Everything after the tactical consideration, even the long-term security of the country, is something “We’ll get to.” Biden is a liability to the campaign of a daily increasing magnitude. A reporter is going to bring up the Medicare question, for example, and Biden is going to blame state-level mismanagement.
Biden, don’t you know, is ‘experiencing early-onset Alzheimers’, or something. The narrative will shift to what a swell, compassionate guy Obama has been to keep Uncle Choo-Choo ’round these years. Alas, Obama, as a servant of the American people, cannot avoid the hard decisions. Obama has to put his deep affection for Biden aside, and accept Joe’s inability to support the ticket again this fall. With much weeping. Make sure the light hits them alligator tears.
Biden’s gaffes will be reported with increasing frequency and faux emotion between now and the DNC in Charlotte, starting on 03 September. Joe’s ‘illness’ (I’m not a doctor, he may have a no-kidding problem) will be a great, big, fat, emotional freebie. Joe becomes the human sacrifice, savaged by the plans of the evil Republicans. Barack is the savior of the AARP, fighting off that young wolf Ryan, who’s going to fix everything until thoroughly destroyed, don’t you know? Sorry that Ryan was able to take out Uncle Choo-Choo. Or did Biden bravely lay down his political life for the cause? A little martyrdom ain’t so bad, as long as it doesn’t thug any halo from Obama.
If Joe goes who will step in? Is there a rock star out there the Dems can tab as VP? I cannot think of any right off hand. All the young, exciting politicians are Republicans now. West, Rubio, Haley, Christie, Jindal etc. Funny, it seems that the Democrats have become the Uncool Party. Full of retreads, and used-to-bes who never really were in the first place.
Trying to translate, or make sense out of anything that exits Joe Biden’s mouth can be dangerous, but, I think I can do this. Take this clip Duane Lester posted at All-American Blogger listen closely, and see if you can hear what Crazy Uncle Joe is REALLY saying
So, what is Joe REALLY saying there? Well, the Tea Party is made up of Americans, voicing their views and concerns right? And while the Tea Party was a significant part of the 2010 elections, it was more than just the Tea Party “taking over”. That was the voice of the PEOPLE that Biden and the Democrats heard in 2010. And, apparently Joe just sees us the people as a bunch of “obstructionists”. So, it seems clear that Joe is really telling the people to stay out of the way of the Liberal agenda of the Democrats. In other words, Biden, and Obama, and the rest have no interest in listening to, much less heeding the voice of the people. Now, does that sound like people who respect the Constitution? If you said no,then I think it is pretty obvious which party should not get your vote this November!
Well, not really, it is just Crazy Old Joe Biden!
On Sunday’s “Meet the Press” on NBC, Vice President Joe Biden put to rest any speculation that he wouldn’t be on the ticket for the November election, but not without creating a little bit of controversy.
Biden first gave his thoughts on the being on the ticket instead of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, an alternative candidate some have suggested.
“There’s no question about it,” Biden said. “There’s no way out. I mean, they’ve already printed Obama-Biden. You are looking at a vice-presidential candidate for the United States of America.”
So, given that Biden is a lock, according to Biden anyway. Which possible VP candidate would you most like to see debate Old Hairplugs?
Just imagine how much unexpected fun it must be to cover Vice President Joe Biden. Normally, reporters who get stuck with the Veep end up enduring dry, meaningless speeches and endless funerals. With Sheriff Joe, though, reporters assigned to the beat get to break stories like this:
Vice President Joseph Biden on Monday night upped the ante around the already quite-dramatic assassination of Osama bin Laden.
From the pool report of Biden’s comments during a fundraising event in New Jersey come these quotes.
“You can go back 500 years. You cannot find a more audacious plan. Never knowing for certain. We never had more than a 48 percent probability that he was there.”
The statement is incredibly inane, even for the Gaffetastical Biden. The blogosphere all took their shots at Joe, but Lance made me laugh out loud when I read this
I dunno: my brothers and me had a pretty audacious plan to raid that cookie jar back when we were kids.
That, my friends is blogging greatness!
Excerpt: “These guys out on the ‘Occupy Wall Street’ thing have nothing to offer. They’re not people who are frustrated, they’re the most pampered, blinkered, narcissistic, useless generation in the history of western civilization…” – Mark Steyn

Apparently the only problem Crazy Uncle Joe sees with China’s force abortion policy is……………….. that those dead babies will not grow up to be taxed!
In his statement, Biden talked about the other set of concerns about the one-child policy — demographic — in that China will increasingly have similar problems to the United States in terms of paying for entitlements to the growing number of people retiring who will need government support to make ends meet and a smaller population of younger workers able to take care of those obligations.
“But as I was talking to some of your leaders, you share a similar concern here in China. You have no safety net,” Biden said in the prepared remarks. “Your policy has been one which I fully understand — I’m not second-guessing — of one child per family. The result being that you’re in a position where one wage earner will be taking care of four retired people. Not sustainable.”
“So hopefully we can act in a way on a problem that’s much less severe than yours, and maybe we can learn together from how we can do that,” he continued.
So, the only real value people have, in Joe Biden’s mind, is as taxpayers? WOW!
————————————— TOP STORY —————————————
Iran admitted Monday, Sept. 27 it was under full-scale cyber terror attack. The official IRNA news agency quoted Hamid Alipour, deputy head of Iran’s government Information Technology Company, as saying that the Stuxnet computer worm “is mutating and wreaking further havoc on computerized industrial equipment.”
Stuxnet was no normal worm, he said: “The attack is still ongoing and new versions of this virus are spreading.”
Revolutionary Guards deputy commander Hossein Salami declared his force had all the defensive structures for fighting a long-term war against “the biggest and most powerful enemies” and was ready to defend the revolution with more advanced weapons than the past.
He stressed that defense systems have been designed for all points of the country, and a special plan devised for the Bushehr nuclear power plant. debkafile’s military sources report that this indicates that the plant – and probably other nuclear facilities too – had been infected, although Iranian officials have insisted it has not, only the personal computers of its staff.
“The Stuxnet spy worm has been created in line with the West’s electronic warfare against Iran,” said Mahmoud Liayi, secretary of the information technology council of the Industries Minister.
As for the origin of the Stuxnet attack, Hamid Alipour said: The hackers who enjoy “huge investments” from a series of foreign countries or organizations, designed the worm, which has affected at least 30,000 Iranian addresses, to exploit five different security vulnerabilities. This confirmed the impressions of Western experts that Stuxnet invaded Iran’s Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition systems through “zero-day” access.
Alipour added the malware, the first known worm to target large-scale systems and industrial complexes control systems, is also a serious threat to personal computers.
debkafile’s Iranian and intelligence sources report that these statements are preparing the ground for Tehran to go beyond condemning the states or intelligence bodies alleged to have sponsored the cyber attack on Iranian infrastructure and military industries and retaliate against them militarily. Iran is acting in the role of victim of unprovoked, full-scale, cyber terror aggression.
The Chinese Ministry of Commerce announced Sunday that poultry imports from the U.S. will face steep tariffs, the latest salvo in an ongoing trade war between the two countries.
Following the news, shares of major U.S. poultry producers were down in early trading Monday. Hit by a tariff of 50.3 percent, shares of Tyson Foods (TSN, Fortune 500) dropped 1.7 percent to $15.38.
Over the weekend the FBI announced that it was investigating Joseph Iosbaker for connections to overseas terror groups. Iosbaker and his wife, both anti-war activists, are suspected of activities “concerning the material support of terrorism.”
According to the SEIU Local 73 website, Iosbaker is its Chief Steward. It’s interesting that this fact escaped most of Chicago’s TV coverage.
Health plans in at least four states have announced they’re dropping children’s coverage just days ahead of new rules created by the health care (Obamacare) reform law.
The new law forbids insurers from turning down children with pre-existing conditions starting Thursday, one of several reforms Democrats are eager to highlight ahead of the mid-term elections.
The mayor of a small town in western Mexico was found on Monday stoned to death in the third attack on a public official in the country in less than a week, local authorities said.
The bodies of Gustavo Sanchez, mayor of Tancitaro in Michoacan state, and an aide were found, officials said. “It appears they stoned them to death,” a source from the local prosecutor’s office said.
At a fundraiser in Manchester, NH, on Monday, Vice President Biden urged Democrats to “remind our base constituency to stop whining and get out there and look at the alternatives. This President has done an incredible job. He’s kept his promises.”
The remarks, made to top Democrat donors, recall comments Barack Obama made last week to “griping and groaning Democrats.”
Nigerian police say kidnappers have seized a school bus full of children in the country’s southeast, and that investigators were on their way to Abia state to look into Monday’s attack.
Federal police spokesman Emmanuel Ojukwu gave no other details and said he did not know how many children were aboard the bus. Abia state has seen a sharp increase in kidnappings for ransom in recent months.
Just seven days after he omitted the word “Creator” while paraphrasing the Declaration of Independence, Barack Obama dissed God again when speaking about the “inalienable rights” of Americans.
This time the president was speaking at a fundraiser for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee at the Roosevelt Hotel in New York City.
